Looking for a A very slow transactions ? Then visit this branch...If you will see the office itself, only 3 tellers are working,and the rest of the counters were closed. But this location is very busy. Everytime I will do my banking here,I always observed the slow process and custumers are waiting but the rest were too impatient...I witnessed one gentleman who'd scream of the words "guys don't take your lunch break at the same time and leaving your counters empty......Well he has a point.That was a lunch break around 13:00h... That's why I love banking at RBC at World on Yonge...That's very busy location too but the way they treat their customers is way different ...Manager is very active and she is very hands-on ... no empty counters...and the transaction is way too fast and organized...Just sad that I had to move to Albion for my work,and end up banking here most of the time...
Horribly manage branch. Terrible customer service. 1. rude customer : When customer ask question and they don't have answer or don't know ho to explain it. 2. Big favor : When they are doing there normal work, its big favor on you. And I feel they are very true about it, because they are not used to do even those work on daily basis. 3. Management Rights : Management is not obligated to give you any explanation, because they have your money and the power. If they want they will delay your important transaction without reason or explanation. REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL NEEDY CLIENT OF THIS BRANCH :- - Please bow down to all the working member of this prestige branch. - Don't ask any question. - Only Do what they ask. - Pray for the visit to go painless. - Be aware, you might need to visit branch multiple time to complete one simple transaction.( my advise : take a day off from work)
THE WORSE BRANCH EVER! Do not waste your time here. If I can id give this place a negative 0 I would. The employees are so rude and unprofessional especially the lady in the first office on the left when you enter the bank. The tellers have no knowledge of anything some dont even understand english. There are literally 2 or sometimes just 1 window open and the rest of the employees are chittchatting, laughing and hanging out in the back. Lines ups are so long it seems like most of the employees are half asleep because of how slow they work. I never seen a horrible branch like this in my life. Im surprised they arent doing anything to resolve this issue as all the reviews and complains are about the same thing. Come here if you dont care to waste your time. This branch either needs to hire professional people or just close down. Waste of space.
I would have given 0 if there was an option. They don’t know how to treat a student on temporary permit in canada. I started visiting there bank from September 20 for my credit card to be extended and they kept on saying that I should call the number on back of card. When I called the number they told me to apply in the branch l. When I visited in October because of the delay caused by them. They told me you cannot get a credit card now because your study permit is till September next year. Now because of the carelessness of the bank I have to survive without a credit card for 11 months in a country where credit card is everything. Very poor service. Worst bank in the world.
Rude, condescending, slow and perhaps racist. Worst branch ever. Just walked out of there and never stepping in unless it’s absolutely the last resort. They screwed up my wire transfer in the past. Then today when I was there, this bank employee was loudly referring to clients as “these people don’t understand social distancing” and telling the security guard how he should “make them wait”. These people?! These people pay your salary. The clientele at this branch probably allows her to get away with such nonsense. Everyone was standing at least 6’ apart. She wanted people to stand on those footmarks which were 95% under black mats. I retaliated and walked out!
I opened an account online. A few days later it got restricted for security. I called cs and was directed to go to a branch with id to get the hold off my account. I went to this branch, met with the manager. I gave her 2 identifications and she said she added it to my profile. I tried to use the account and was blocked because of security. I called cs again, and was told the branch did not remove the restriction and to go back. I closed this account I dont have time for incompetency and wasting of my time. Plus the hold time for cs is 40min to an hour. And the branch hours are short. If you have a job you can not bank here. Ridiculous
The older asian woman working at the front is very rude and should not treat clients this way. I came into the bank with hopes of resolving my issues with my card. She was very rude and treated me with attitude. This lady was also not understanding of my situation and made comments to belittle me. She also discussed my financial situation out loud for other clients to hear which is not her place to do. I kept trying to tell her what the issue I was trying to resolve was and she kept talking over me and then told me it was best that I go to another location. Horrible experience
Staying close to this branch, I had multiple visits here and none had any negative experiences. The staff is very good at their work, courteous and professional. The turnaround time per customer can be long, especially in busy hours, so expect some wait. They do have a locker facility which is fairly good and secure. Although not everyone is much aware of or has access to it, so sometimes it gets chaotic. There is very limited parking available outside but there is a complex next to it and on the opposite side of Islington Avenue where one can park.
Very rude teller not all but certain one. Very racist. And, lack of costumer service. There is no service at all. Respect for the ladies that provide an excellent service except for the costumer service desk. Very rude and, disgusting manager and, I can tell you if I was working at your bank the first thing I would do Is fire that manager than have him represent the bank. They talk to you like they are forced to work. Or hate their job. Folks if you do not want to work. Feel free to leave.
This is the worst bank like all the other posts about being understaffed I have been banking with rbc business for over 2 years and they never used hold my checks most of my business is with insurance companies last week I went in to deposit a check they said sorry we will have to hold it for 4 days my checks don't bounce and never have the new power hungry manager had the nerv to say oh I live pay check to pay check I can understand while my landlord is calling for
Walked in to a branch here at Albion…. Service is worst. Half of the staff does not want to help. The last time I spoke over the phone with rbc help desk they told me if you walkin to a rbc branch and ask for an advisor who can tell you all the deals and benefits each cc has. They directly ask to call over to them as they do not any such information about cc or a db which I wanted to replace .
I've had different experiences in the branch, some advisors were less helpful and attentive than others. However, I'd like to thank Sujatha Raghuraman for helping me solve the issue with my parents' credit cards. And also the administrator, who is a nice lady that would always try to help and find an available advisor or answer your question.
They keep sending me back and forth from calling direct investing to going into a branch it’s been almost 4 months and they still won’t transfer my money from direct investing TFSA to my RBC TFSA. which is now causing me to lose money I should be reimbursed for the money I’ve lost by employees not knowing how to do their jobs.
When I went to the bank to make a transaction on my bank account, the employee of this branch, named Jaswinder Kaur, said at 3:26 pm , "We will close the branch in 34 minutes, so I cannot do your transaction, come back in 5 days." Why do you employ such lazy people?

I have been trying to help my father with his pension. The advisors were rude, had very little knowledge of the processes we needed in order to have his money released. They kept on giving us sad excuses and never have given us a clear answer to our questions.
Some of the people who work at this branch are polite competent people, some of them will just waste your time while they try to convince you to get them more clients. Don't believe the letters they send in the mail saying your pre-approved

Worst RBC.. Managers are sitting while there are only 2-3 tellers on desk. Customer service representatives(tellers) couldn’t handle the peer pressure of work load. Waiting Que’s are long enough for a person to wait 20-30 mins minimum.

Sujatha Raghuraman was very nice and co-operative. Even when our appointment got canceled, she went an extra mile to help us out. She spent additional one hour with us. There should be more people like her in the world.

This branch is disgusting . Manager and staff are useless. They do not have knowledge about proper procedures of loan payment. I went here 6 times for just clear one cheque. Never recommend for anyone.
