I really want to like this place - they're great to poke around at but I almost never buy because the pricing is just totally out of line. If you find your holy grail item and are willing to pay top dollar and come here regularly to hunt, then this is your place. I don't know if they sort by ebay high to low or what but you'll rarely get any deals here. Most (all?) Of their inventory is free donation/recycling so you'd think this would work like goodwill or thrift stores. However, items are often in very rough cosmetic shape and dirty but sold at the same price as mint on ebay. Old consumer tube tvs with tint issues sold for $100+ that are often free on craiglist or marketplace. Couple that with a terrible 24 hour return period on tvs - I've tested a few in store and found color issues and busted inputs they either didn't test or disclose. You'd haul this all the way home and find out it needs returned and only have a day to do it. Retired enterprise networking equipment that is just beyond ancient going for more than brand new better consumer gear on Amazon or handed out for free from businesses in CL postings. Nearly all their video gaming stuff is sold higher than Pink Gorilla just a couple minutes away who actually have to pay for inventory and then go through the effort of cleaning it. For goodwill quality I expect closer to goodwill pricing. My only purchase here has been a Sony 20" PVM they listed at an eye watering $2500 - literally hundreds more than equivalent eBay models that even included freight shipping. I counter offered to knock the piece down 30% so while massively out of line for what these cost a decade ago, I could at least let it go and hopefully break even if I ever sold it. I definitely wouldn't call it a deal but the one upside to something of this size was avoiding freight shipping from someone selling it cheaper and risking damage.Other local friends have reported some of the staff are more unlikely to haggle at all so you can't even count on trying to make a deal. The selection is at least quite varied. The Seattle store has a lot of PC cases and TV's/monitors while the tukwila one has a better choice of printers and office equipment. If you just want to come peek around and see some fascinating electronics then at least the price there is right.

GREG AND OTHER STAFF WILL DECEIVE YOU TO MAKE A SALE I've been coming here for years. I just dropped way more money than I should have on a laptop because the price for the specs seemed really good. I noticed that it was the only one out of around ten that had the lid closed, and I also noticed that they kept shutting it after I opened it... When I asked why it was hundreds of dollars less than the same model on newegg.com (a way better place to buy electronics), and straight up asked what was wrong with it, Greg, the manager I assume, or at least the eldest worker, got hesitant and said that was a valid question and nervously opened the lid. Everything seemed fine. I bought the laptop with $400 I shouldn't have spent because I'm losing my income and my housing and need a computer to work to not be homeless. As soon as I tried the laptop *not plugged in* the screen started flickering like a strobe light. I'm neurodivergent and have had absence seizures before, and if I was epileptic THIS COULD HAVE SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL. But +$400 is more important to you than that, isn't it? It's extremely likely that they knew about this issue. Two staff members failed to inform me about this, both of them making a point to walk extra steps and shut the lid of this laptop when all the other ones were left open. The only probably reason they would have done this is because it was flickering on the sales floor and they knew no one would buy it if they saw that. I'm a psychology and neuroscience student and I can't imagine any way they wouldn't have known about this issue, especially since they set up the laptops. I asked what was wrong with it, they lied to me, they broke my trust and took advantage of me, and they likely will you too. I'm never shopping here again, and I'm going to go through a ton of work to upgrade the BIOS, flash new firmware, or tweak the intel settings to get this to work because I don't want to return it and let them deceive another person and get another sale with this machine

They have a lot of mostly older stuff, but it's not all completely antiquated. There are some useful items that are priced well for sure - XBox 360 or PS3 for $30, various monitors, and EVERY kind of connection that passes current or data. However, they don't have a good return policy and if you spend a lot on an "as-is" item only to find that it doesn't work then you're out of luck. RecentIy, I bought an old (over 10 years old) processor and an A/V receiver but when I got them home and hooked them up, neither worked. I'm crossing my fingers they'll take back the receiver and just charge me their restocking fee (10%-20%), otherwise I'm out $75. That's an expensive paperweight! It's like gambling and the house always wins. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I haven't quite given up on it yet but, like I mentioned, their basically nonexistent return policy is hard to swallow. Hopefully I'll update this post with good news tomorrow. UPDATE: Life got in the way of my returning the receiver so I'm overlooking its purchase/return when considering the overall review of RE-PC. I changed it from 2 stars to 4 stars. The staff are knowledgeable and their selection is pretty wild. They have a bit of everything about 2 or 3 years old and older (not much new selection what-so-ever). I've got some adapters and cables from them that work fine, an old 2 Core cpu for an older computer I rebuilt that works, a couple sticks of DDR3 for that same build, and a working graphics card to hold me over until the GPU market comes back down to Earth. It's a Gigagbyte 660 OC 2GB and I don't have any complaints about it for $60. All-in-all, I'm becoming a fan of the place. It's definitely worth taking a look at their inventory if nothing more than to see the their museum-ish like displays of technologies of yesteryear. Last tip: avoid RE-PC if it's a warm day... no A/C and it gets hot as heck in there!

So I took in my laptop specifically to have the fans replaced and keyboard replaced(i brought my own keyboard.) The warranty for 30 days is really only good for 30 days. They also put everything into a new case(because they said the mobo wouldn't post any more, and they offered to replace it because it happened while it was in their store) and so i basically have a new laptop I guess since the mobo is not the same one as I had before, but that caused troubles with my replacement battery. (Since the battery i had was a stock replacement, but ordered directly from the manufacturer for th eprevious mobo.) but 40 days later my fan is noisy again. At this point I'm in China so I don't know if they really replaced it with a new fan or just plopped my stuff into a new case and mobo. It was only $80 so I got what I paid for. but the service took a long time(I gave it to them a month before I left, and asked if I should pay for the express service to make sure it was ready, to which I was reassured that I had given them enough time.) I have mixed feelings because it was very cheap, but the process of waiting and having to call almost every day to see if it was done yet a week before I was due to leave was pretty stressful ontop of a lot of other preparations before I was leaving the country. Moral of the story: it's great if you're like me and you don't have the option to spend a fancy fee on best buy geek squad, and they're very nice and regular guys. don't do it if you expect it to be the best you've ever had, but just enough to get by is a great description of the service you will receive. So in the end, I guess I can't complain. They did their best. Thank you for your hard work for ppl like me who can't afford more.

Not gonna lie, I HAVE had a couple of bad experiences here -- HOWEVER, I believe they were anomalies resulting from the understandable stress of dealing with unsavory characters that are inextricably tied to the neighborhood (and to any second-hand business, for that matter). And policies like "no bags allowed" always start any shopping experience in a disgruntled mood. But, in general, the employees utilize extraordinary customer service that goes beyond lifting me from the doldrums of disagreeable policies and raises me into the realm of full satisfaction when I finally walk out the door. This is a business that I like to support whenever possible -- even if it may seem easier at times to find what I'm looking for online and have it shipped to my door -- because it offers an invaluable resource that cannot be replicated virtually. Besides almost always finding exactly what I'm looking for (and finding it cheaper than anywhere else), I also always stumble across delightful gems that I wouldn't have ever thought about searching for online, but happen to be exactly what I've been searching for -- one of those things tucked away on the backburner in the recesses of my mind... At any rate, this is a quality store that provides quality products and services -- and if you have problems with anything, they are helpful and happy to resolve just about any issue you raise.

Took my gaming comp in for a very simple repair recently, after my computer randomly shut off and had a startup loop. I had a similar issue while building my pc the first time a few months ago, and took it to REPC to fix it. So I took it back to them hoping they would know the problem or were familiar with the build. I knew it was either the power supply or the motherboard from blinking lights on my motherboard when trying to power on, but I've had terrible luck fixing things myself in the past. They got back to me saying it had to be the motherboard, that essentially I'd burned it out from overclocking, which funny enough I've never set up on my computer. They said the only thing we could do was order another motherboard. We took it to a far higher quality and more reputable computer store (progressive tech) and after actually taking the computer apart they told me it was just the power supply, which I just so happened to get from REPC when building my computer several months ago. The only takeaway I can see is to avoid REPC for anything computer related if you are interested in quality, longevity, or honesty.

These folks are the best. Opposite of the use it and toss it ethic that we have way too much of today. Over the years I've gotten monitors, printers, occasional computers and misc electronics here. There's always something you can use. And of course taken my old computer stuff knowing it will find a use and a home. Today's experience was my Epson Inkjet scanner/printer. It works great but something got out of whack and it kept coming up with an error message saying I had a paper jam in the automatic document feeder, when there was nothing in there. I called Epson tech support and the woman in the Philippines said I could drop it off at their service center--in Portland. Just a 6 hour round trip. Instead I brought it to Re PC, figuring they could either figure it out or I could buy a reasonable replacement. Their real repair stuff happens in their South Center store, but their staffer fiddled with it for 5-10 minutes, found the disconnected piece, and made it work again. And if he hadn't I'd bought one of their used ones. Great folks, great prices and a Seattle institution worth supporting

It's not very easy to find from the street. The signs lettering is small and drab. The store opened a few minutes later from their listed opening time. I had a pretty large shopping list of parts as I was building a new PC and usually like getting refurbished parts. Not just because its usually cheaper but because its already been tested by someone else and I've had the terrible luck of having bad hardware when I buy new. Well the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were aware of where everything was and this definately expedited my shopping trip! Another note about the staff was they seemed willing to chat about hardware and were overall friendly! However, the parts that they had were pretty dated. I'd say on average equipment that was 3 years old, and a bit pricey for what it was, seemingly weighted towards like new prices. Its unfortunate as I've been trying to find a good place for hardware that isnt Bestbuy...

  • nicc

The only reason you should come here is to hunt around for the rare sweet deal, or possibly some various cables or obscure hardware/accessories. You should avoid using them for off the shelf parts and technical support services. Most things are wayyyy overpriced, especially considering everything was given to them for free as e-waste, why are they so greedy? Lots of things I can dig up priced well over $100 that have been here for 5-6 years in the same bins or shelves. Gpu, cpu, and ram pricing is especially not competitive here. Seriously, cut your prices. I bought ram for a mac pro. They overcharged me and I didn't notice until I had the receipt. They cancelled/refunded/did whatever, and we re-did the purchase. They overcharged me AGAIN and cancelled that, too. Third time they finally got the pricing right. I still have not gotten my first refund of $30. Came back in person to sort it out and "the manager wasn't in" so I gave up.

  • MasterKitty

This place is awesome. They've got this really sweet exhibit of old computers. Stuff like an Apple Lisa and other old/rare computers can be seen. Aside from that, they have a whole bunch of stuff for sale too. Bins upon bins of hardware, all categorized for you to pick through, and at pretty reasonable prices too. Untested AGP cards for 2.95 each, which is more than reasonable, especially when compared to prices on Ebay. But it's not just retro gear, they sell modern computer stuff too. You can get modern PC's for pretty good prices. All used, of course, but perfectly modern and usable. Staff is really helpful and friendly as well, I asked about multiple things and they were always able to show me around for what I was looking for. If you're looking to upgrade an old PC , get a used PC, or you're like me and looking for retro hardware, I'd check this place out. They have nearly everything.

  • Hastur

Great place to get an older PC and some really cool tech toys. I've shopped here a bunch of times and have been well satisfied. This is the kind of store where you should check back often as you never know what treasures you may find! They have really really helpful sales staff but at certain times you may have to wait a few minutes to get something behind the counter, but do not let that hinder your experience. Their tech services are excellent and affordable. They offer data destruction and recycling of old tech, if it's too broken for Goodwill or you need to be sure nobody has access to your data this is the place to go. They offer used PC's and some videogames and TV's. They also have great deals on gadgets. They also have a computing museum area, totally cool place for learning about the evolution of computer's. Amazing stuff.

  • Community Advocacy

I've gone to the 6th Ave location a handful of time, with low needs, and had an unremarkable, okay experience. In working with a client I referred her to Re-PC when her partner broke her laptop. Our agency (a non-profit aka non-government) is offering to buy her a new laptop. The experience she had with the staff was in large disappointing, they made up their mind not to take in information and bent over backwards to not work with her. Instead of exploring alternatives (she asked could I pay by CC over the phone. I am just a few miles away & available to come to pay) they responded that they don't work with government agencies, which we are not. Instead of supporting local community, our agency will be spending hundreds of $ at either Office Depot or Best Buy. If you are a woman, only go here if you don't need staff assistance.

  • Greyson Skeen

Fantastic place if you're looking for old tech or odds and ends. This would be my first stop if I was in the market for a used pc, as long as I wasn't looking for top-of-the-line hardware. Staff was extremely helpful in trying to find the parts I was trying to find for a custom-made PC case project. Unfortunately they/we couldn't find everything I needed but that is the risk you take when shopping at a place like this. I always love coming here, it's a ton of fun browsing through all the stuff they have on display. My only complaint is that I always end up taking 3-4 times longer than I expect to finish my shopping because I screw around for so long looking at everything. That is my fault for being easily distracted and I don't have anything negative to say about this store or the staff working here.

  • nichole manneh

Great store for finding an array of computers, laptops, tv's, etc and all things related. If you need to repair an old school item that requires a part no longer sold by the manufacturer, for example, this is likely your store! I went there to purchase a computer and with excellent assistance was able to identify the perfect laptop that was within my budget. The laptop has been used daily for about 3 months so far without any problem at all and came with a warranty and a complimentary computer bag. Customer service was excellent, which allowed me to be efficient in getting to familiarize myself with my new laptop rather than spend a lot of time determining my options as this is a large store with a lot of merchandise to sort through.

  • Jeff Tripoli

Re-PC is foremost an amazing place to get an affordable refurbished computer, both PC and Mac. They have a wide selection of budget-minded desktops and laptops, with a great return policy and generous warranty where applicable. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Secondly, they have a huge assortment of peripherals and parts old and even brand new -- cables, monitors, speakers, sound cards, controllers, even MIDI keyboards. It's a retro-gaming gear nerd's dream. I've gone there for all my projects. And lastly, every geek owes it to themselves to check out their computer museum. Re-PC is one of the coolest niche stores in the city!

  • Allronix

It looks grungy, but it is a fabulous toy box for a computer geek. You want to recycle your old PC, they'll do that. You broke your mouse? Coffee ruined keyboard? That new monitor is missing a cable? Critical part blew and you need a cheap replacement yesterday? It's all here for less than the price of a fast food meal. 30 day warranty on most stuff, but never bought a dud. Oh, and they do have new parts and a reasonably priced, honest repair desk. No sneaky bull about trying to sell you what you don't need. Oh, and check out the free museum of old computers in the back. They have gems that the Living Computer museum doesn’t.

  • Anthony Watson

Places like this are a dying breed and need your support! Instead of just using the online retailer you should check this place out first. I can pay $5 for a weird cable I need online or I can visit the legendary folks at RE-PC and get it for $1. While you're there, shop around! They have so much cool stuff. There's plenty of cool vintage computer gear to geek out over as well! If you're looking to play around with repair projects or need a weird part for some older hardware this is the place! You can buy your cable modem online for brand new retail money, or, just buy it here!! Theres a whole bin of them for $10 each!

  • Michelle Middleton (TERACHI)

Was neat to look at the really old stuff. Was able to take some old computer parts and clear up some room after a recent move. Staff could be a little more helpful. We had a lot of heavy stuff that we carried in the door the first time and no one behind the counter said anything about where to set it until I asked a second time. The one person just kinda stared then pointed. We didn't need someone to lift help carry was just needed to know where the drop off area was. Otherwise its nice to have a place to get rid of old electronics and see some systems that are no longer in use today.

  • Floyd Aranyosi

Great prices on just about any peripherals and accessories you can imagine. Excellent prices on laptops, tablets, and desktops too. You will want to know what you are looking for, since the staff mostly stay behind the counter. But if you ask for something specific, they are very knowledgeable. It's also a great place to get rid of old tech that you no longer need. They will take dropped off electronics of all kinds, wipe old hard drives, and then recondition or recycle the parts, to keep them out of landfills. Hard to find, and not much parking, but otherwise an excellent resource.

  • R. Jay F

A good stop for the knowledgeable computer tech. Some parts are very cheap and good deals, some are junk, some are overpriced, some are broken. If you know what you are doing, and don't mind digging through the bins and piles of computer parts, it's amazing and awesome. But sometimes you can get new parts from online retailers cheaper than used parts here, with no risk of taking them home to find they're broken... So it's not without its risks. Best bets: if you need a power adapter for a laptop etc, or if you want a cable, you'll get it here for a fraction of a box store price.

  • N L

Ok you need to stop by this place. Overall interesting place they have a museum on site which is kind of cool. I will say if you're missing a power pack for anyting they have one of it. Some stuff is overpriced for some of the used parts they sell. Understand if at least say 15 day or 30 day warranty you better make sure to have your receipt if you're expecting a warranty. I saw that first-hand myself. They have good prices on used video cards with a one-year warranty which surprised me. Also a large collection of SSD drives and M2 Drive cards.

  • Anson Allseitz

Some awesome finds here, but a disproportionate amount of junk. They have great deals on monitors, laptops and Office PCs that don't need to do complicated things. However, they have a really poor inventory management system and things sit on the shelf for years. You frequently can find used parts that have sat around for so long, the new ones are cheaper. Make sure to save your reciept because lots of used parts they sell dont actually work. They are awesome at recycling, and could be much better at retail if they just put a database together.

  • Elizabeth Fatur

I dont even know how other cities in the country get by without a RePc of their own! Ever since I moved here in 1995 I have shopped here, ( most recently to replace my lenovo think pad plug in that my dog ate)sought computer parts and pieces, saved hard drives, relied on informed advice and celebrated the awesome mixture of prideful geek-dom, grass roots customer service, and commitment to sustainability that is RE-PC. Not to mention paying 5 bucks for a used cord that would've cost me 20 at Best Buy. You guys rock it every time!

  • Kristina “KittenKoder” Herrboldt

Okay, so I usually go here just because of the great prices. This time I went there with the intent of upgrading various parts of my PC, and they helped me find the right parts for the right price as usual. But this time I had lots of questions, so many I had to make two trips. They not only answered my questions, they figured out how to make my upgrades work without having to spend a lot of extra money. I love this place. RE-PC is the best place in Seattle to get the best PC parts, service, even helpful advice.

  • Dan

This place is the best, if you want to look at/buy some computer history this is your go-to. I went there a few days ago looking to drop off a broken TV and I found heaven on earth for a computer nerd like me. There’s old Pc’s, macs, every obscure cable under the sun, and amazing staff to help find anything you’re looking for, I ended up buying an iPod Classic 3rd generation and a Compressor Jukebox, but I wish I could’ve bought more. Oh and by the way if a manager is reading, Kaleb was great, give him a raise!

  • Felix Janssen

Just an incredible store. I went in on a whim because i thought it would be cool to find a small CRT to use as a second monitor, immediately and employee named Cal was able to tell me exactly how I would do such a thing, find a small monitor they had that was perfect, and then show me EXACTLY how to set it up on windows 10 using a computer they had in the store, he genuinely seemed like he was excited for my project and wanted to help. Will be coming back for anything computer related.

  • Charles Bosse

If you like tech ephemera or are a PC nerd on a budget, this place will make you feel like a kid in a candy store. Since they sell used, the stock rotates, and buying used (especially used tech) is a great way to reduce toxic waste streams, which makes this a wonderful place to get your "fix". Even if you have no intention of buying something, they have a cute little "computer history museum" in the back which, if you are (still) reading this review, you should certainly go see.

  • Joshua Bell

Not only great or crs on computers, but stereo equipment too. Some very high end components have been dropped off for recycle. Every type of dongle or cord imaginable. If you don't see what you need, just ask--the employees are great! I asked about a brand name lossless music player and one for $40 (including cords and SD ). AND, by shopping there, you reused plastic/metal/glass. You can feel like an earth-saving hero while making your tik toks. Good for your wallet and planet!

  • Andrew Grane

You never know what you'll find here! It's worth hunting even if you aren't looking for anything specific. It's an impressive collection cables, hardware, components, TVs, software, monitors and more! They have it all! Their prices are appropriate for the item and it's age. Good deals on everything! Don't expect to find the latest and greatest out on the floor. They recycle your old electronics and you can admire their compilation of vintage tech in their "museum".

  • C. Minn

The Staff at the 6th Ave S & S Massachusetts St are HANDS DOWN the most knowledgeable in any and all electronics/technology, friendly, laid-back, and down to earth. Any questions or concerns I had prior to entering the store were all addressed and any possible questions I may have are always answered even before I could ask them. Hands down, best service every time I go in, even when I just browse (but i always end up leaving with something)

  • Sennet Curtis

This is a great store for what it is. They are very fair with their repair prices, have lots of variety of all sorts of stuff. I have purchased printers and computers, along with tons of peripherals. Many good deals can be found under this roof!!! Arguably the best prices on computer/peripheral cables anywhere. Retail stores charge $10-40 ++ on cables that I regularly purchase from REPC for a single dollar. GET SOME!!

  • Andrew Gong

RE-PC used to be a good store for finding parts or vintage items. However, their inventory has become less interesting these days. They have some overpriced items that are still there months later. I wished they have more variety of parts, and to bring back the laptop parts. I bought my X41 Tablet there. The Wierdstuff store in Sunnyvale CA is better than RE-PC, but I don't live in California, which is sad to me.

  • Anthony “Trebel Rebel” Conradi

The store is much more organized than I remember it being almost 5 years ago. That doesn't mean clean though, handling used electronics will get your hands dirty real quick. The staff there are very courteous and helpful and even though they aren't rocket scientist or certified electricians, some of the employees do know a thing or two and will happily help you till your needs are met and the task is complete.

  • Curt Reep

This RE-PC is 5 times better than the one in Tukwila.O had broke the screen on my I-pad and on the internet I found out I could hook a mouse up to it and run it that way southcenter store has no clue what I needed to get it going .I had to make a trip Downtown so I stopped in the RE-PC store down there,I wasn't there 5 min and I was walking out with what I needed.Thanx to the young man that helped me out .

  • nova tron

The guy went out of his way to show me around the bins when i was looking for a few used parts ('wall worts' & some audio adaptors). Last month I bought a new power supply for my pc, saved $10 over the one I was eyeing on egghead & i didnt have to wait for the mail :) I see a some complainers on here but, the few times I've gone, they've been cool and took care of my needs. I appreciate this store.

  • Ryan Main

RE-PC is awesome. Unfortunately they did not have what I needed but the staff was very helpful. They have some sweet items in there and the prices are better than you think. The Tukwila location does ink refills and I got a Black and a color refill for like $17 out the door. They also sell super duper sweet items on eBay. It's all awesome if you like electronics and saving money.

  • Alex Ohannes

Great place with lots of stuff and mostly decent prices. Some of their stuff is pretty overpriced though. Their used hard drives are priced as much as brand new ones on Amazon (of the exact same model no less) and their used MicroSD cards are usually about double the price of the exact same brand and capacity that is brand new on Amazon. Other than that though, pricing is decent.

  • Jared James

Nothing short of amazing this place had absolutely everything I needed the staff was incredibly helpful and even though what I needed was something very specific and pretty hard to find they handled it no problem very quickly I would recommend this place to anyone that needed any help with any type of computer cellphone laptop anyting amazing amazing amazing I love this place

  • Winthrop B (Win)

This is one of my absolute favorite stores in the entire city. If you are a tech geek on a budget this place is your Shangri-la. I could spend hours in this store and leave with a ton of stuff without breaking the bank. Next time you need an inexpensive laptop for your kid, this should be your first stop. The staff is super helpful and friendly and the prices can't be beat!

  • Power User

Good place, surrounding area- not so much. The manager and staff have to put up with a lot of garbage in that area though and I give my blessing on this place and the manager. You can feel safe in here though as the manager is on top of it though sadly. Wish he didn’t have to deal with so much riff raff coming in. Good guy- a true blue old school Boy Scout like me!

  • Madison Eckendorf

Such a great experience! I came in to get a TV for my laundry room. Cal was extremely helpful and set me up with everything I needed, including a stand. My kindergartener was testing the knowledge of everybody else in the store. They were so kind to him & his abundant curiosity! Going forward, this will be my first stop on any electronics project I have to tackle!

  • Ben Kordash

RePc has a little bit of everything if computers are right up your alley. I must say the price points were very reasonable. There is a small curtained off area known as the "museum" and that is exactly what it is. If you are in the SODO area why not do yourself a favor and peek your head in the door! I did and I plan on buying a laptop from them within a month.

  • Frank Kroger

Have been coming here for years, bought my PC, here I am also a regular for parts, keyboards, modems. Laid back staff, helpful too! They do repairs. Tiny prices. Also a drop-off point for no longer needed gear, for re-use or re-cycling. They have a history of computers museum. I am sorry I did't bring them my original computer a Northstar Advantage, from 1982.

Mixed bag but mostly decent. Prices are kind of all over the place. Sometimes great deals, other times just as expensive as something brand new. What makes it stand out is the sheer amount of weird, eclectic, and vintage oddware. You never know what you might find in that store. I often walk out with some weird piece of tech just for the novelty of it.

  • LiL' MiSSy Thy UniQuEly SeXy (Missy aka Michael Baber)

Awesome store! Friendly and helpful staff! Very welcoming staff too with easy user friendly stor array and LOTS of really good computer stuff!!! Tons of variety and an excellent selection of computers, computer related equipment, and computer parts & components! 10/10!!! Highly recommended store! My absolute all time Favorite computer store to go to!

  • Ryan Quimby

Computer/Electronics junkyard - what's not to like? You have to know what you are looking for and have to not be afraid to dig a little to find it. If you are expecting new and shiny with sales folks in suits and ties, this is not the place for you. This store is intended for the person who needs "one of those thingamajigs" to make something work.

  • Joseph Reid

Fantastic computer parts thrift store! A local Puget Sound staple for decades. Friendly and knowledgeable service, with a wonderful little museum of PC history in the back corner of the store. Whether you need cables, case, monitor, peripherals, or are building a machine from scratch, this is the very best place to do it on a limited budget.

  • Russell Sickler

I had enjoyed shopping at re-pc for many years, through many lap top repairs etc. The owner is a great personable guy who even remembered my name. Good prices throughout. BUT. About 8 months ago I was accosted by an employee who accused me of shoplifting. He even put his hands on me but I had nothing and I made it out the door. Oh well..

  • Ab C

These guys are awesome. They have tons of stuff and nice stuff to old stuff. It's a pc recycle place with tons of awesome electronics and for crazy low prices on most stuff. Some stuff is fair market price, Some is an absolute steal. And they have all sorts of odd stuff, you cant find at Fry's or definitely not best buy. Check them out.

  • Rob Gillespie

Have always loved re-pc. Recycle electronics, and love to browse their electronics bins. Always some interesting stuff. Bins of keyboards, racks of stereos, turn tables, monitors, printers, game controllers, adapters, routers, you name it. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Have been utilizing there services for over a decade.

  • James Dean

For all things used computer and electronics!! Ready to use towers & laptops or also components: HDD, SSD, power supplies, cables, speakers, & peripheral stuffs. Stereo equipment, scanners, fax machines, projectors.. Also random equipment like oscilloscopes and musical equipment related electronics. Many many many monitors and screens.

  • Louisa Clayton

This is an updated review, and I wish I could give more than five stars! These folks always seem to go above and beyond and I SO appreciate their expertise! I have been a REPC customer for many years, and I'm never disappointed in the service or products I've gotten there. Everyone needs to know about and be a customer of this store!

  • Yen

Perfect place for your computer/electronic treasure hunting. This large store has everything you can name it related to computers. The motherboards, laptop screens, SATA controllers and so on. General their price is lower than what you can find on eBay. The store also has spacious parking lot, so don't worry too much about parking.

  • Andy Do

Prices are hiked over a year ago by over 100% in many cases. I'm not sure if they're capitalizing on the retro craze or just suddenly think broken and outdated parts are super valuable. Maybe a crow bought them out. Either way, what used to be a great place to find parts is now far too expensive to justify any more visits.

  • Liz Leffler

This is a must-see for any computer geek that likes to build their own system. It's like a junk yard for computer parts instead of car parts. They also have new stuff, though, and prices are very reasonable for everything. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can help with any questions. I love rooting around here!

  • Jake Greene

I have innumerable experiences here that were positive, also some great stories finding just the right part for a nuance project. I have donated here over a dozen times. I did notice a very low quality projector I donated was turned around with a $75 price-tag. Be cognizant of the cost of your purchases here!

  • Eames Bookwalter (Cabbage Royal)

I needed to buy a 70$ xbox/pc controller. Instead I went here and bought a used but perfectly acceptable OEM one for 10$ I mean comon what more can you ask. I did make sure to test it by bringing my dongle and some batteries before I bught it though. Make sure you are prepared for that. Staff was nice too.

  • eli shneyer

Idk, its a bunch of old computer things in a warehouse space. Prices seem pretty alright and they have prebuilts up front for sale. There's a mini museum with some retro systems in the back. If you're a fan of LGR on youtube or the Living Computers Museum, you'll probably like this place.

  • Holomos B.

Love this place! TheGreat Deals They are constantly exceeding my expectations. Just an excellent experience every time I've been. over the last 15 years I have built several computers from the motherboard up, they have always had a wealth of techspertise at hand and useful suggestions.

  • Bob Smith

Lots of cool stuff to look through here! Found the admittedly rather new model of SSD we needed here (and unused!) Also highly recommend checking out their computer history corner! BUNCH of cool stuff there! I'll be coming back for sure, they have a lot of stuff I'll be needing soon!

  • April Heck

They have everything from new and use electronics of all kinds and gaming systems to chords pretty much anything you can think of that's electronic they also have a museum of computers it's pretty cool even if you just want to check out the museum plus the staff are extremely helpful

  • Katia Blackburn

LOVE this place! Found a power cord for an 8-year- old laptop for $5 that another Seattle store wanted to charge me $39 for, and a working, esthetically clean Sony boombox with cassette player to listen to my old tapes for another $5. Can't go wrong! People are savvy and friendly.

  • Roberto Hoyos

Just awesome! I came here to find some random PC parts for a project and left with some great goodies. Very well organized, clean with nice prices. The staff was helpful and courteous. Plus there’s a fantastic computer museum! Definitely my new go-to place for hardware and parts.

  • Nick Morales

Eco friendly alternative to buying new. Staff is friendly and helpful. I forgot my laptop charger at home on a business trip and these guys were able to score me a new one at a very reasonable price. Also, they have much more than just computer bits. Go check them out!

  • Tracy Johnson

Went to pick up ink for my printer for an amazing price. They dont guarantee to have the ink you need. Best to call first. Great customer service & cant beat the prices. The workers are very intelligent about computers, etc. Most will help if you need it & ask

  • Eugene P

This store is all over the place. Some items were a decent deal and some were just priced way too high. No rhyme or reason. Goodwill or Value Village will get you a better deal but the reason why this place gets 5 stars is because if you need it they have it.

  • Charmaine Min

Extremely Knowledgeable staff! But be wary/careful with what you buy because a lot of items are sold "AS IS" meaning NO REFUNDS even if it's broken or breaks as soon as you try it out at home. Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean you should buy it.

  • Felix Cumpleaños

I love starting tech projects here! There's some great hardware here for testing/lab environments as well as production settings. There's also quite a selection of eclectic trinkets! Be sure to check out the little computer history museum inside!

  • Beau Johnson

If you mess with computers, you will likely have a tough time leaving this place. I've gotten so many second hand electronics here. A great first stop if you need something weird or uncommon - or just want to build a computer from the ground up.

  • Michael Caldwell (Mike Caldwell Sr)

Wide selection! Great knowledgeable staff!! One could get lost and spend some $$. Buyer beware: A) anything tested is guaranteed to power on; conduct its function is what's in question. B) be aware of your funds and what you're in there for.

  • Iris Blake

Super friendly staff. Nicely organized and laid out store. Like coming here to get good deals on used computer parts. Reasonable return policy on most things. Would recommend if you are looking to get a computer, TV, or parts for much less.

  • F S

They have a lot of pieces. Down side, you have to find it amongst other parts. They do separate and categorize. I found exactly what I was looking for amongst a lot of pieces, I think it was luck that I found it within 5 min. But do expect

  • Alan Becker

They fill an important position in supplying used and recycled parts, peripherals and computers to the aging computer community. If you need something for your older computer, chances are they have it there. There's a reasonable selection

  • Christian Anderson

Need things older than what you find at Fry's Electronics? This is your place. LCD TVs, DVD players, assorted stereo components, networking equipment, assorted power supplys, and even complete PC or Laptops. If it's a bit of an odd part

  • Wally Chin

Please be a responsible adult and recycle your used unwanted electronics to a responsible recycler who will properly prepare them for someone who may need them. Who knows You might find something that you may need by dropping stuff off.

  • Richard Springer

What are you gonna do with an oscilloscope from the 60s? You don't know and I don't either, but it looks cool as hell and this is where you got it. Rotary phone, Sim City on floppy disc, an eight track player. Dreams do come true here.

  • Doug Kisker

Great place for taking old electronics for a second life or proper recycling. The museum is great - a walk down memory lane all the way back to grade school for me. Really nice folks working here- very knowledgeable and helpful.

  • Simon Pringle

These guys rock. Lots of good advice even through they didn't have what I needed in their case today. I've built whole computers from RE:PC Parts and have never been anything but satisfied with their quality and value for money.

  • Scott C. Brown

Great place to take your unused tech and gadgets. Also, great to be able to recycle and not just dump your broken tech. Hard drives, printers, PCs, you name it. And if it's useable, they will repurpose it. Glad they are around!

  • Franchesska Berry

I had a wonderful experience at Re-PC Seattle. Cal is extremely supportive and above & beyond to repair my computer on the spot. It got upgraded and he taught me along the way. I cannot thank Cal and his support team enough!!

  • Ralphael Lunna

AVOID!! Horrible people!! Disrespectful and rude! Way too overpriced for used-donated items!! $60.00 +Taxes for a Serial Trackball!! Are you kidding?? People have to pay to recycle old items!! And this people sell it for a

  • scooter burner

Love this place. Has all the old computer parts you could ever want. Cheap too. Recently needed 80 ft of RG6 coaxial cable wire. Was about $25 at home depot but here I got a spool with over 300ft left on it for $15. Sweet!

  • Carlie Phillips

Super nice and understanding. I needed to drop two tvs off but had to borrow someone's suv to do it. I got there right at closing, but instead of telling me to come back the next day, they came out and unloaded it for me.

  • Sam Lee

Kind and diligent staff. I dropped off a TV to recycle and I was in and out in moments. So crucial to have a sustainable and environmentally conscious establishment like this in town. Appreciate their business model!

  • L Low

Best place for that missing part that you dont want to spend a fortune on for a new one. Found the power cord I needed for $10 instead of $50. Looks new to me and works great. Great staff too. Very helpful.

  • Pearce Pachuta

A center for all things you thought for sure you'd have to at least order, and more likely get lucky dredging from eBay. Expansive, eclectic, and fascinating collection. Good service and sanitation, too.

  • Mike Sampson

Good used computer and electronics store with a variety of PC/computer/electronic goods at good prices. lots of stuff in this store to sift through if you have the time and enjoy that type of activity.

  • Guillermo De Vivero

Good stuff. Got a couple of HDMI cables for $2. And a 4 terabyte hdd for $45. There are some good deals on computers. Plus some 80s electronics. Oh and the history museum was cool displaying old tech.

  • Ryan Ollos

Great place to recycle electronics. Drop off is quick and easy. Wish I had time to wander through the museum. Looks like they have a lot of good used stuff for sale too. I look forward to returning!

  • Billy B.

Nifty place. Staff was knowledgeable AND pleasantly helpful (not pushy at all). I really appreciated the 'Computer Museum'...They even had the first computer I played with the Timex-Sinclair ZX-80!

  • Tallon Nishihata

Great place to go if you're not sure what exact cable or power adapter you're looking for. Can rummage through their collections and find parts you can't easily buy online. Cheap used monitors too.

  • Anastasia Mackert

They went above and beyond to help me get a device — that has little publicly-shared, coherent information online— to finally work. I am in awe and in love with RE-PC. Thank you so much! …

  • Jake N

One of the coolest second-hand tech reseller stores I have ever been to, there is SO MUCH COOL STUFF, throughout basically every era of computers, including a small museum section as well!

  • Kronan The Konqueror

Amazing place to both get rid of old electronics, as they are a free recycling spot, and to get really cheap cables/cords and other used electronics. Nice, helpful staff as well …

  • Jay Davenport

I bought a TV from here and the picture wasn't to clear. I was able to bring the TV back and replace it with the same size I originally bought. Picture is perfect!! Thank you Jesse❤

  • Edward Olsoe

Great selection of used computer and stereo gear. Picked up an old movie from their previously owned DVD rack for $3 and my friend was able to find a turntable he liked for $15.

  • Amy Ware

Yes yes and yes if need anything for your computer stereo etc then this is the spot very nice place and people that work there. If your Seattle swing by and give a little look

  • Elizabeth Ann Nelson

Great place. They are usually very helpful with all of your questions. Always willing to help. They have decent prices and all those hard to find computers/electronic gadgets.

  • Keith Lindbeck

With unbelievable prices and the widest selection of all things silicon based plus cords... Well it's close to heaven on earth for this junk collector and armchair nerd...

  • Jamie miller

This is my husband's favorite place ever. He can fix everything and loves anything with wires. If you like electronics or just need a random cord this place is for you.
