"I always enjoyed shopping at this store"
This is a great Rabba location. I’ve been coming in a few times a week for the last year since moving into the area and they rarely don’t have what I’m looking for - this has been my experience... Hours - store is open 24 hours. Service - Amazingly friendly staff, fast checkout - though it’s hard for first timers to know where to line up for the cashiers. Selection - They have a few items of Most categories (which is what I would expect) - great for in between big shopping trips to Loblaws or wherever but if you need something exotic or need a butcher you may need to hike to a grocery store. Prices - The prices are similar to Loblaws’ - not cheap (you’re paying for the convenience of not having to schlep to a larger store) and the store’s inventory caters to their shoppers that live in the large condo building behind it - which makes sense to me. Salad bar - There isn’t one - small selection of prepared foods compared to some Rabbas. There’s a Subway sandwich shop inside the store which is handy, an ATM for $, and they have a small “deli” where you can buy rotisserie chickens (they are really delicious and so convenient), sliced sandwich meats and cheeses etc. Overall I think this Rabba location is doing what they should be and doing it well :) Cheers, Gregg
terrible, just terrible. The third time I came across an old product. the first time it was a pudding that had expired a week ago. the second time, rotten chicken, which had a terrible stench, the same thing happened with salmon, a disgusting smell. I made a refund, there was not even an apology. and now a simply terrible situation has occurred, I bought ready-made food, seafood salad, they put a label on it, and after paying, the woman came up to the cashier and let him punch in a different price tag for this warehouse, even though there was a completely different salad there. On my receipt there is a salad that I didn’t buy, she knew that the product was rotten, and gave the cashier a different price tag. As a result, the salad was sour, and I realized what was wrong, the expiration date expired a month ago!!!!!! I'm very angry with you guys, I'm thinking of contacting the services
I always have a nice experience shopping at this Rabba. The staff are very friendly and kind, especially the lady who works at the food counter / deli on weekdays. Prices for the prepared food are very reasonable. Produce is good quality.. I’m often able to get a perfectly ripe avocado for $1.99 - more expensive than a grocery store, but worth the premium for the freshness and being ready to eat! Sometimes there are sales and certain items would be on par or even cheaper than a supermarket. One drawback is that the floor space is less than other Rabbas that I’ve been in, which can cause some crowding at busy time, but usually customers are polite and make way for one another.
Extremely convieiant! Young, polite, friendly customers service whom I have come to know and respect over time. A little more expensive then most but it is a convieiant store best utilized for those late night/early morning hours or when convieiantly passing to grab a bite as they offer a virility of hot meals aswell. I would suggest a subway sandwich from the Subway so convieiantly tucked away in the back rather then what's offered from under the heat lamps, that speaks for itself. I truely do not mind paying the little extra considering the variety offered, 24h a day, within the lack of square feet.
I always enjoyed shopping at this store. Friendly staff, excellent food. But once, a female cashier called us to her register. I did as I was told. Suddenly, a female customer at that cash register shrieked and started yelling at me, hysterically. It seems, she was frightened of Covid-19, even at a distance. Her husband looked embarrassed. Customers in the line were shocked. Others hurried to leave Rabba. The cashier did nothing to stop this tirade of verbal abuse. She did not even apologize. Since then, I cannot enter this store.
Although there are many Rabbas across the downtown Toronto area, I find that there are few types of these 24/7 hour convenient stores available. Of course the prices are not as low as grocery stores. But, Rabba offers just about everything one could need. Fully stocked shelves... Hot & cold meals.. Fruits and vegetables as well as just about anything one would desire. Because it serves a niche market.. It is great to be able to go to a Rabba 24 hours a day. I give it a 5 star rating!! Brian Waters
Solid 24hr destination for snack on the outskirts of the village. Block wouldn't be the same without it. I'm here leaving this review just cause I wanted to shout out the nice guy behind the counter. the new guy Amar/Omar (pardon me, cannot remember the spelling!) Anyway yeah all the staff has been nice and I have been served by 3 different people. Glad I got a place to count on having just moved back to the area after almost a decade. All the best ~b
Went in to make a return and not only did the person make me repeat myself several times after selling me a item the was broken, but gives me the finger. With ignorance ignorance Luke that in a place that you get paid to gives proper customer service behavior its no wonder some people would yell. After dealing with people like this over and over the fact anyone think they shouldn't get attitude is not right.
I offered to pay for a homeless man's items and the cashier literally refused to charge me for it. Brushed it off like I was stupid. It's messed up to me that he felt like he was able to choose when some recieves support. If you can't recognize when people need help and think you can decide when it is they receive it then you obviously don't understand what this city needs.
While the markup on the items here is a little hard to swallow, you are paying for the convenience. The real highlight here is the hot food counter, where you get a great portion of rotisserie/fried chicken, salmon, & cabbage rolls with potatoes, rice, vegetables, etc. at a reasonable price, perfect for a weekday meal pickup on the way home from work!
I usually like this Rabba place especially when I wanna buy things after 10 PM, they are always open; however, I got falafel and hotdogs yesterday, and they both tasted like they were not fresh. I had to throw them as I couldn't eat the rest. It might have been an exception but this review is to keep the quality of your services high. :)
I go on a regular visit to rabba and buy grocieries and deli there deli is great hard workers behind serving up hot meals so far everything I have ordered great.Great hot and cold deli service hard working team to help even though small store.Had a few problems some customers but not rabba store excellent service.
Pretty small Rabba, so they mostly have convenience products and not a lot of variety. But they have a little of everything, including some fresh produce. It's clean and service is always friendly. As all Rabba it's a bit more expensive than a normal grocery store, on the flip side it's always open.
I like getting their onion bagels: 5 for only $2 and they're delicious! They seem fresh but were previously frozen. The lady behind the hot foods counter is always very pleasant and helpful. She helped me track down extra bagels in the backroom because there were none left on the shelf.
The staff I spoke to was nice and friendly. However, I bought strawberries and there were multiple rotten ones hidden on the bottom of the box. I hope some more attention to be given towards the quality of the food since we buy them with our hard earned money. Thank you.
Its good convenience store..24/7 open and wide variety of stuff available.even the foos is also available like samosa and other thing.so great place to visit.especially in night time when all the oher places are closed.its life saver..
Silly review but I had a bag of useless change since a long time now. The cashier present for the night shift was very patient with me and accepted it. Thank you for the service. Huge weight off of my pockets.
Personally, I think that RABBA is really good in own their way, their respective employees give a nice touch to the franchise, there choices are very well organized. But I would rate the location 4 out of 5
I bought potato wedges & BBQ chicken here yesterday before 6 PM. Terrible old dry chicken. The hash browns were so dry and old. Really disgusting, never buying food from here again.
Produce and groceries are surprisingly fresh and varied. While the price reflects convenience, there's no beating grocery shopping at 2:00 in the morning with no one to bother you!
Great staff, very helpful always . Open 24 hours Convenient and not too pricey. Homemade food, salads and condiments and fair variety of general goods. Good organic doggie treats.
Staff are not wearing masks and are no longer enforcing their customers wear them either. This is very concerning as we are about to hug the second wave of COVID19
Was short changed again today (April 15 8:10pm ish), this is the third or forth time. Get a receipt and count your change. Some thieving sketchy cashiers here……
Very nice service. Very polite and I always leave happy and satisfied. I definitely recommend shopping here over any other grocery stores in the city.
Open 24 hours and generally clean. The only thing I don't like is that it's quite a bit smaller than most Rabbas and so it has a smaller selection.
Not much sq footage but includes Subway small deli counter, fresh produce fridges freezer & abundant stock leaves little space to squeeze thru.
Excellent staff! This store could be revolutionizing a standard in the industry. This is all due to the owners/operators. Success is hard work
Has everything you could need, good service and a clean store. Staff is friendly and kind. Overall my favorite spot for late night snacks.
I love Rabba, they're always open and the staff are extremely helpful. It's expensive, but you pay for the convenience and high quality.
Offers variety of items and is open 24x7, but many things are priced higher. If not urgent, plan your purchase from a Walmart or Costco
Great customer service , the people who work there love their jobs . It’s like a family owned business , RBC ATM machine and open 24/7
Has a lot of Variety, but prices aren't comparable to the ones at Freshco, Walmart or Nofrills and Foodbasics. It competes with Metro
Prices are higher than other grocery stores close by. Limited selection. Not all staff wear masks, which is really disappointing.
All Rabba is fresh and fair, this iteration too. Pedestrians well served here, but there is limited parking on the side streets.
Great store very friendly everyone seems happy great service. Small inside but they have everything you possibly could need.
Convenient. Varied inventory. Way too expensive tho and staff are rude more often than not. That goes for most locations.
Not just a convenience store, has a Subway, variety of baked goods and grocery items. ATM, lots of unusual items.
Steer clear of chicken wings and fried chicken. It was so old it was like chewing leather. And I was sick.
good for a rather large variety store nearby. Anything you want as groceries is here and it is open 24/7
Staff is nice and polite. Prices are really high though. Open24 hours which makes it convenient.
Not much varieties of vegetables. But its open for a long time which is really good.
Pretty good selection and friendly staff. And you can’t beat the 24/7 hours!
Small but well-stocked and great variety for the size. Love that it is 24hr!
Rice pudding is made better then most Rabba stores in the downtown area
Great staff. Good food. As always, check best before dates diligentlym
Convenient & well stocked - a tad expensive but pay for convenience
Great middle of the night grocery store. Large selection of items.
Great store. Great produce $election. Lots of choices. Nice staff.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The produce is usually fresh.
Excellent Products with good customer service …
