3 bad experiences.. and all of them could have potentially made me very sick! 2 times milk curdled before expiry date. First time I did not return the milk, but I informed them about it, they responded by saying they would have reimbursed me for the spoiled milk if I had taken it back. Second time I did not even inform them, I simply decided not to buy any perishables here. My friend also experienced the same. Returning the money is not the point. They are doing nothing to improve their standards, but they will return the money. Once I made the staff remove the entire rack containing chicken - I visited at around 7am the store was being mopped. As I walked by the meat section, I noticed a putrid smell. I picked up a chicken tray and observed sticky slimy fluid and the plastic covering was dirty and muddy. The meat itself had turned yellow. I checked the expiration, it was 4 days later When I called the staff member and told him about it, he smelled every packet, brought a trolley and threw out all the chicken. I'm sure that chicken had been rotting for at least 2 days before it was thrown, and I hope nobody bought it without realizing.
This location of raba are scammers. Everyday when you go by and they run out of fresh chickens they tell you that they're organic to uosell you although it's exactly the same chicken. It's not listed on their menus organic..then when they give it to you to change the price and tell you it's an organic chicken. False advertising. What of employee the I spoke to said it's exactly the same chicken they just do not to make additional money on their sales . I called them out on it last time and one of the supervisors or managers chased me around saying oh no there are two types of chicken as they felt bad. it's not listed on their menu and the other employee told me it was a scam. The owner should have better respect then allow the scam to go on and someone should complain to raba headquarters if there is such a thing. Enough said I met the owner many times and he's a nice man too bad he allows the scam to go on.
Sad experience today. I realized I was out of cat food so I hopped on a bike share bike and made my way over to this location. I noticed they had a sign saying no bicycles but I thought the person working might have some compassion for my scenario. I didn't want to leave the rental bike outside as it's $+1000 dollars to replace of stolen. The woman working continually referred to the sign as though it was written by the hand of God. I was clearly no threat - just a patron looking to spent money and feed my cat. My wife is 8 months pregnant and I needed to leave the house extremely early the next morning so I didn't really have the time in the morning. Poor cat. It's ok because their selection wasn't good enough quality to give my little guy anyway. Thankfully there was a nice lady at Metro and she was able to see I was in need of a kind deed. Never going back to Rabba again.

I recently moved a month ago in a building near this Rabba. I would NOT recommend this Rabba to anyone. I have bought food from here multiple times and I am not joking when I say that 80 % of the times, i found out that the product was either beyond its expiry date, or rotten. These people do not care about expiry stuff. I once ended up eating rotten guacamole and had to spit it out when I realized it was rotten. I complained to them once but they said just bring it back...thing is I don't buy stuff from here to return. its not once or twice. Literally each time I end up with something rotten. Its disgusting. I am never going to this store again. I could have gotten food poisoning because of them.
This store is huge. I did not think it would be so big from outside, but when I went in, I was stunned to see how big it is. They have a huge collection of things. You will get almost everything you need for groceries or daily life consumption. Pricing are not that competitive regarding many other stores like Freshko/Walmart etc, but you won't find any of those anywhere nearby. In an additional note, I would like to mention that employees working in here are very friendly and veru helpful. I like to shop in here if I need to buy something real quick. Definitely recommended.
Rabba is usually overpriced but sometimes they scam people with wrong labels. Right now, they are selling chicken drum sticks as boneless chicken thighs. I asked the sales associate but he only cared about the label printed by Rabba. They really need to improve their ethics before they get sued. I have attached a picture so people are more aware of the scam. The variety of products they sell is good and the operating hours are really convenient. They shouldn't take advantage of customers by playing dirty tricks.
I’ve even going to this Rabbas for 4 years and never again will I go. On two separate occasions when I asked for a COVID test one of the workers first time said “COVID isn’t real” and kept bothering me and the second time he said “it’s just a cold.” And on the 23rd today I bought chicken that was disgusting and had expired two days ago. I have also repetitively had to tell them milk or bread is expired but this time I messed up and bought stinky and smelly chicken. So sad
The only 24 hour store in the area. Has almost everything you need from your nearby store. They make ready meals, dippings, fruits, desserts in house and they’re good. Don’t understand why people are complaining about the prices when all the other ‘bigger’ stores in the area are as expensive or even more expensive than Rabba. This place is usually not the place to buy all your groceries, however it’s one of the best places for any instant grab and go items.
This is a cool place, but they didn't have maple syrup. So i complained to the manager, but they looked like an elf that fell off a cliff because their face was flat. Anyway, i went outside to make maple syrup, but there were weird santa clauses staring at me. They were getting closer and closer, and then... they disappeared. In the end, i got the maple, so 10/10
Bugs. I've been going to this rabba for 7 years. I purchased a box of artisan fusselli pasta and it was full of bugs and larvae. I returned it to the store and they offered me another box of pasta. They also made no effort to imply that they were going to check or remove the pasta from the shelf. Going forward I'm going to go to Sobeys. Discusting!
I don’t know about their other locations but the Blue Jays/Front store sucks. Employees don’t know what customer service means. Totally unhelpful. I’ve bought milk from there that went bad before the date on the carton at least 3 times. I would never go there again even though it is literally in my building and super convenient.
I found the cashier working there on September 30th at 11 pm unnecessarily rude. We asked for a bag and he didn’t hear us because of the glass. So we asked him again after we paid and his response was “I asked you if you wanted a bag and you said no”. Politeness goes a long way, as we were friendly to you. Won’t be back!
Really good grocery store to stop at if your looking for just the essentials. I wouldn't try to buy a whole pork shoulder or a brisket here but if you need basics like eggs, chicken breast, bread , pasta, fruits and veggies this place is great. It looks a lot bigger inside that it is because of the mirrors on the walls.
Beware of the lottery scam where they keep old losing lotto tickets beside the register and your CHECKED winning tickets are somehow duds. I didnt want to make a fuss of a few free tickets from a stack as I was holding up the line and in a rush. Take your "loser" tickets back and go elsewhere.
Scammer. The removed the original sticker of an expired apple pie and pasted a new one over it with a new expiration. When we got home, we removed the new sticker, the remnants of the old sticker showed. Expired January 31. New expiration February 7. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I love walking upto Rabba and picking everything I need. They have most of the stuff I need for daily needs right from fresh bread, veggies, pasta, rice, milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs, sausages, burger patties, ice cream, basic baking needs, cleaning needs. Its my go to store for everyday grocery!
Great selection for a mini grocery store that is open 24 hours. Prices are high but typical for a convenience store. Purchased chips but the produce looked good. Added bonus was the free rapid tests. Short walking distance from the Marriott.
This is a perfect example of a business that sells water in a desert. With no grocery stores around the Blue Jays area Rabba can offer poor customer service, high prices, staff that are on their phones behind the register, making customers
Nice store with good variety of grocery items. No racism I ever felt here as mention by my friend in another review, I'm of East Indian descent and can always find Chinese, Indian, Philippino people at the counter. It's all good.
Great place to go if you’re in a bind, they’re open 24hrs. Had a few annoying encounters with some troublesome cashiers, most of them are polite though. Some clearly doesn’t not want to work there/overnight shifts.
Shame on you guys ! It's not been the first time I've bought the rotten lettuce, or expired milk! At some point I was thinking it's a human error, but it looks like you are stealing money from your victims!
I went to get a can of beans at 12am and the cashier was very kind to open up the can and put it in a nice Tupperware container for me. 10/10 would recommend for midnight bean runs. …
Good store for late night food needs. They also sell single blunts If you're picky about your healthy food intake, this may not be the best option for you but it's a good store either way. …
Overpriced beyond words. Getting delivery from high end supermarkets is infinitely better. Convenience shouldn't mean extortion. Only worth it if you are lazy or if you're a high or drink student.
Amazing concept of a mini grocery store thats open 24/7... complete with a deli, poduce, premade meals and desserts, baking goods, dairy etc. I hope something like this makes it's way to Vancouver
Stopped in before checking into the Marriott, very clean, good selection and prices. The vegetables were fresh, other products that were bought were also fresh. Definitely recommend this store
Decent selection, decent prices. Be careful with the produce as it tends to be at the end of shelf life. One of the managers loves creeping on chicks and doesn't even bother to hide it.
Great selection of food and snacks. Expensive but open 24hrs. Been in Toronto for a week and have visites store twive...this is the most friendly place in all of toronto. Brutally bad.
convenient hours for emergencies but too may instances of expired food still on shelves and found hair in prepared food from deli counter. Could be great but need to enforce standards.
This was the closest store to our hotel, so I walked over to get some snacks and medicine for our stay in Toronto. Everyone was friendly and they had a good variety for what we needed.
As with all Rabbas, the great advantage is that it's always open! This is a favourite location, right on lake, and it has a good deli section & fresh-baked croissants from pre-dawn.
This location is always busy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I hadn't been here for sometime but staff remembered that I used to visit regularly. That is good service …
It's open 24 hours a day so that's great for last minute items. Priced quite higher than No Frills but it's a convenience store. It's convenient to be able to close to my place.
Rabba always has what I need and more! Selection is varied, healthful items being in plentiful supply. Store is clean and tidy and the employees are friendly and helpful!
Although the products here are slightly on the expensive side given the location, the store does stock up well to fulfill most of the daily household needs one may have.
Overpriced, you would think it is 24*7 but it is still overpriced for that. Plus the older guy there doesn't even say hello or Thank you like he is doing me a favour.
As soon as you get inside The cashier is asking you if you are ready to pay... is almost like she want you to leave before you buy something... she is really annoying
Very good neighborhood shop which is open 24 hours. Huge range of products available. They give no/limited discounts or offers which is why i am deducting one star.
Open 24 Hours. Lots of staff for quick till check out. Able to grab the few items we needed for our stay in TO without the overwhelm of a large busy grocery store.
Friendly staff. Decent selection of food. Their deli counter has some pretty good salads. Can't really go wrong with a 24hr mini supermarket. Love this place.
This place actually has a surprisingly large selection of things. Almost like a smaller version of Metro. I even managed to pick up some charcoal for the BBQ.
This is the worst branch of rabba! Don’t ever think about entering this place unless you want to deal with the rude and miserable staff that work there.
Bigger than other locations I've been. Can buy major groceries later at night with no lines. Definitely their prices are higher but opens all the time.
Veggies and fruits are usually not fresh. Prepared food is ok. Mostly pricey compare to other grocery stores. However, convenient as it is open 24 hrs.
Fake advertisement about freshly made wraps, but when asking about them they point you towards the day old plastic wrapped ones they made this morning.
Fruits and vegetables have to be checked before purchasing especially sale items . Ok for urgent needs but products need to be checked before purchase
It's the only 24 hour grocery store around. Not the biggest selection, but you'll find everything you realistically need at 4:30 in the morning.
Classical Rabbi Fine Foods stores, the main advantage is that they are 24h, other than that they are pretty much like a big convenience store.
Some of the staff did not speak fluent English Hot foods itself is disgusting Sandwiches are cold and bland Convenience items are over priced
Highest prices in city but 24/7. Own kitchen. No alcohol. Good enough to by some snacks or late night dinner but don't do weekly shopping.
My go to grocery store. Close by, and open 24 hours for that emergency whatever you forgot to buy item. And they have Kawartha ice cream!
Clean and welcoming staff. Has all your basic needs. Though some items can be pricey due to the stores being in downtown and open 24/7.
You pay a bit for 24 hours but the deli rocks .. healthy and most of the time they have meals that are great! Sunday has salmon dinner
Its 24 hour that the one in Toronto downtownand that will appreciatebut it's a bit pricey, can you consider having a look on the price
Great that it's open 24hrs, but they should have really discounted certain items which were a bit old. I found the store well packed.
The store is good as it opens 24 hours but it's expensive than others in few products and you don't get variety as it's small store
Perishables aren't fresh - always check expiry dates! Have seen dairy products that are over 2 weeks past best before on shelf.
Good and reliable neighbourhood store! The pre-made foods at the front are great, I love the chicken salad sandwiches/wraps.
Impressive 24 hour store. Wide variety of produce and various items you would find at a grocery store. Very convient.
For a concenient store, this place has most things you coukd want or need. But it's still at convenient store prices.
24 hours, it's amazing place you will find everything you need, even the food if you hangry. They have halal goods
Convenient location and hours - open 24 hours and has decent selection of produce/prepped food close to the hotel
Great place to get what you need in a hurry. Prices are a little high. But cheaper than most ,It's not a Walmart
It's a great place to find groceries in the middle of the night...or early morning. It's bigger than you think.
Although it is more expensive than other stores but it is useful when other stores close because they are 24/7
I like this location better than the one near my house. Food looks fresher. Staff is always nice and helpful.
Small and convenient store. Visited it occasionally, so didn't find something special that caught my eyes.
Great food on the go when you come out of Blue Jays game and they blow a 1-7 lead in a post season game!
Great little natural food store. Wide variety of fresh and shelf stable foods. Open 24 hours every day!!
Convenient location to the condo building surrounding it. The samosas at the deli counter are very good.
everything you need at any hour you need it. you'll pay more for the convenience factor for some items.
It's good for late night emergencies, but it's too expensive for it to be your everyday grocery store.
Excellent grocery conveniently located and openened 24/7, moreover, fresh produces are available
My boyfriend was extremely happy they had a wide selection of cigar and blunt wraps here …
Great little grocery store in downtown Toronto. Pretty much can find everything you need here!
Bagged milk consistently leaky or short expiry date. Lineup to pay can at times be quite long.
This Rabba is amazing! It goes on for miles and miles and has anything you could ever wish for
Overpriced and poor quality selection of produce. Not worth it despite the 24 hours opening.
Avoid buying cigarettes from them they charge you $2.00 tax on top of already taxed cigarets
Stopped for water. Was very impressed with howuch they offer. Shop was clean and very nice.
They have everything you need it's clean and organized but the staff is always miserable.
Good location, good quantity of food, slightly limited selection for the amount of space
5$ for a small bag of chips. Yikes. Must be covid related supply issues …
It says, fine foods but I never saw any gourmet foods in the place. Berry misleading.
Open 24hrs with great friendly fast service. Lots of great fresh produce deals to!
My first sight is good. But i dont know what hapened with the milk and its caduced
Wide range of products and food. Organized, clean and fresh. I strongly recommend.
Great selection but higher prices but that's what you get for shopping at 4am!
Great lil spot for quick runs, plus 24 hrs too so... can’t complain …
Good store except the cucumbers are rarely fresh. Everything else seems to be!
This just not just a grocery store, but they also have available hot foods.
Small but varied grocery store - was able to purchase everything I needed.
Prices listed are not prices charged for many items, check your receipts!
Open 24/7, not usually busy, as pretty much all your basic grocery needs
Nice 24x7 convenience store to find all groceries that you need anytime.
Limited selection, pretty pricey but has all the necessities in a pinch
Discovered some new, delicious snacks I haven't seen in other stores
The cashier scan twice some items, if you are tourists be careful.
Very good store for fast groceries shopping and ready food 2 go.
