Called in looking for a female 3.5 mm to male 2.5 mm audio jack. They said that they had them on the phone. Went in to the store and the first lady that tried to help me had absolutely no clue what was going on. She presented me with an option that had male and female ends mixed up. It took two employees to figure out that they didn't have what should have been a simple request after I was already told that they did have those in stock. Their employees do not have a clue about simple electronics.
I walked in and heard, "What are you doing?" from a guy that was standing in the corner of the store messing around on his phone. I told him I needed a power bar. He tried to sell me something for $64. I walked out, went to Office Depot, and got one for $12.
Just called with a specific question about AC adapters. The employee obviously didn't know what he was talking about and instead of helping me (or just saying they didn't know) they said I would have to come to the store.
It's a Radioshack. Do you expect a Radioshack to be the bastion of customer service and expertise? No. It's not a nice place, but if you need a transistor on a Sunday it's the only place you can go in the city.
This is not what I remember Radio Shack as. They did not have a glass fuse I was looking for and did not have a very good selection of DYI toys like build your own radio.
They don't carry the range of electronics parts like they used to (and should!), but the staff is helpful, and good people.
If you want poor customer service and rude staff, this place is for you. If not, find a different location.
Super friendly staff with more and more kits and items for makers/DIY folk. RadioShack is back!!
So sorry to see Radio Shack close its doors..its the end of an era...great close out bargains
Staff was helpful but they seemed to not have many items customers were looking for.
its awsome i love the options of new cell phones so i can watch porn
This is a Sprint store and they have the worst customer service
Convenient but pricey. Friendly staff
