Clean, organized, small though....not as many books, limited. But it has great window seating and is in a nice neighborhood/location. Everything is done on the computer. Even when you go up to the counter to get help, they will send u right back to the computer. I tried to check out for the first time, this a system I wasn't used to and they were like "use the computer"....there was no step by step instructions, I got to a place where I was stuck and had to ask a customer for help because those sitting at the front just seem to be there to tell you to use the computer. So customer service is lacking. I wonder why they have workers if the computers are doing all the job. The human touch which for centuries has made libraries an amazing place is definitely missing and it is sad. I have lived in libraries all of my life, this is the first library where there is such a disconnection from the staff. Not everyone is comfortable with computers and they don't seem to recognize that.

Every time we went to Rainbow library the storytellers at youth department always surprise us. They all do. My kids used to go story time from Jill, Anthony, Amber, and the young lady with short hair who always wear the elegant long dress with flower, you can feel they do really have the passion to interactive with the kids. The youth department always have great programs for kids, we love it. This month is story time with princess, the storyteller, Kate, wow, she is amazing, she just act like the professional broadway actress, my daughter can’t move her eye from her and talk about again and again at home and ask when is next time. Yesterday was earth day, Jill and Kate hosted the special activity with white hat, you can tell they do their best about every detail. They are the best!

Please please please do some customer service training. I am so happy this is my last Sunday at this place.! Tired of the run around. The unprofessional manner in which they speak to or ignore the guests is really unacceptable. Customer service referred me to reference desk who rudely passed me off to security who passed me back to reference desk who didn't know what I needed. This isn't the first and only incident. In fact something goes wrong ever time I go there. Like those automatic phone voice promts...only humans..If it has been one time I would have let it slide..or twice I would have looked the other way...but every single time?!?! Something is seriously wrong.

I absolutely love the children's section, and all the variety of electronic learning. Sadly the arts and crafts bags are not given to the children@ this location. Funding is too low for this library. At least that is what I was told by a librarian here. Children need these other crafts besides electronics, it's 2.00 Max for 100 pipe cleaners & construction paper. Another 10$ at dollar tree to get this community doing physical crafts. I've been to every library this beautiful city has to offer, they offer crafts at all of them!!! Me & my seven year old & 3month old baby love the library! Cannot wait to visit again soon.

The WIFI here DOES NOT WORK (once connected, good luck loading any websites). DO NOT GO HERE if you plan on working online. Staff seems to be aware of this, yet it does not seem like they are planning to fix this issue anytime soon. Staff is nice, which is why I gave them 1 star. However, most people/students especially need online access at the library, so I do not consider this to be a minor issue that can be ignored. The summerlin library on the other hand is a much better option, as their WIFI actually works.

My grandchildren and I had similar problems with the security there. Don't know if the security lacks racial sensitivity however the public library is not the place to project this especially towards children. This problem needs some immediate attention from the management there unless they are part of the problem in which case someone higher up needs to address this issue. It's hard enough to keep children interested in reading without racial profiling in the place PAID for by taxpayers for use by everyone.

There’s people doing jigsaw puzzles on the table. There’s a reference section for anybody that wants to find out anything. There’s even a child’s portion of the library. Now and then the towels in the restrooms have to be replaced. If that happens to you just let them know. If I had more time I would spend it there, No, not the restroom but in the main areas : Books, Computer, CD and/or DVD racks or perhaps just watching one particular lady working a huge jigsaw puzzle, !

Fair selection. Good parking, though sometimes tricky to access in normal traffic. Friendly, helpful staff. Semi-remodel improves space efficiency. Wifi and public computer use available. Anything can be reserved/ordered from Clark County Public Library system and its sister affiliates via computer or smartphone Ebooks and other media. Public toilets. Music and DVD sections appear to be shrinking. Community bulletin board. Large kids section. Clean, spacious and bright.

Could be a decent library but some of the security guards here have a "Barny Fife" complex. Don't get me wrong. I fully endorse and support the need for security at the libraries but they should have some supervision as well. There is at least one at this branch who is abusive with his position and makes it not as enjoyable to use the library as intended. He is just to far over the top. Unnecessary and somewhat ridiculous how he treats the public.

It's my favorite library. I can always get a computer even when it's busy without waiting too long. The staff are always friendly and patient. And I do all of my printing here instead of at home! I don't do a lot of printing so it's just an excuse to go there, really. The thing I've always wondered though .. is why it's called the Rainbow Library when it's on Cheyenne & Buffalo? Was it supposed to be on Rainbow originally?

Went to this library today and it was phenomenal! I was a first timer in there today and the lady was very nice about helping me get my card. Also they had a bunch you could choose from! I got one with puppy dogs on it! Also you can choose 50 items! This was the biggest library I've ever been to before. Free magazines that have desserts and coupons! Even a couple new movies. Oh and they have video games! Great place!

It's so nice to be able to browse again. It takes longer to get returned books on the shelf (4 day holding period until this COVID thing is over), and they keep reorganizing. Also, it seemed like they culled or something, because authors I expected to see a lot of were in short supply. No Asimov, for example, and only a single Piers Anthony. They used to have more. Maybe people aren't reading them any more.

Location was pretty far for me Driving from Green Valley. About 40 min drive. But once there I was So glad the library hosted a Blood Drive with Vitalant. Which my sister happened to be hosting this day in a seperate area apart from the main library area. They even let the blood drive set up inside test donations +allowed Vitalant/Hosts to decorate as well which was really nice of the library.

Sammy is incredibly helpful. Angelica as well! Very courteous, very to the point. I went looking for books on presidents and Sammy had great suggestions. Angelica found a study guide and then went the extra mile to ask if I'd like the earlier editions as well. Promote! Ditto Elizabeth! She had lots of great suggestions for my son. Double her salary! When i first looked this library up i was under the impression that it was located on Rainbow Blvd. because of the name, but then saw a picture of the building originally and i must say after visiting i was pleasantly surprised to see that it had been redone in more natural colors. They didn't have the book I was looking but I enjoyed the ambiance while I was there

Friendly staff, but the internet speed is too slow for a Zoom call. Please increase internet speed! One star because it’s such a pain to connect your Apple device to their Wi-Fi. You have to go to a third-party site and a lot of times it doesn’t work if you have an Apple device. Why don’t they make it easier to connect to the Wi-Fi with your Apple device?

So many resources to help everyone. So much more than just a library, a must visit. Free WiFi, Audio books, movies, Help with, computer use, docs to print or scan, public Fax, Movies, music, and sooo many resources On Line, free access to learning apps, for classes and languages and ebooks, audio books, streaming movies, music, soo Much. Just Love it.

A very nice library. They have computers and printers to use. The print cost 15c per copy. The card catalog is on computers which I guess all library's use now a days. They have audio books, eBooks, movies and music. There are events there and the staff have always been very helpful. If you live in the area you should subscribe to the newsletter.

The library and bathrooms are clean. The employees and library goers are nice. I like how the tables by the large ground-to-ceiling windows have charging stations on them. The internet speed is good enough for basic browsing and streaming video. I prefer this library over the Summerlin Library or West Sahara Library.

It's okay. Not a huge library. Decent DVD collection. I usually have to get the books/movies/games I want delivered to this branch from other branches. Their computer lab never seems to be full. Can only get there by going northbound on Buffalo so you'll have to do a u-turn depending on where you're coming from.

I have no clue what you guys are talking about with the secrurity because i have never had a problem ever i think this is a good library and has a good selection and nice people that work their and no i don't work for the library so this is not a fake review my daughter and i have never been treated badly here .

Staff are nice and helpful, there is a sense of safety as they have security on the premises. Building is clean and kept in good condition. Bathrooms were clean. There are lots of books, movies, audiobooks, resources, events, etc. There are even apps you can download to "borrow" books and movies from digitally.

One of the best libraries I've been to. We come here often for studying as missionaries and it's so awesome to have spaces to learn and grow! Also a fantastic selection of books that I intend on reading in 2 years. We have made friends there and I even took the #getcarded challenge …

Almost five years ago, I moved here to Vegas from Michigan with six children on the Amtrak. Immediately, we visited Rainbow Library--our second home. We love all the staff. The security guards are outstanding too. The after school tutoring program is awesome! Five star Library!

The 2 lovely ladies that assisted me were so helpful. They both seem genuinely happy with their jobs. They were so patient. What a blessing to experience what should be the norm but has not been for quite some time. Thank you for being the best at where God has planted you

A beautiful quiet library with a lovely park (conveniently named "Library Park"!) In the photo, the building in the background is the actual library. As I write this, birds are singing! Yes the trees look bare (mid-March in Las Vegas) but it's lovely and peaceful here.

I just needed to print. Computer room is open. New guy in there...not very friendly. The only one I recognized from pre-covid...was security guard...at least he could still smile and greet people with a friendly attitude. Glad they are open again.

Great location, awesome hours, very big, large selection, The people at the reservation desk are a little rude at first but if your polite they let their guard down too. Don't forget your library card, or else you'll get major attitude about it.

Not too many books on the subject I was researching. However my kids had so much fun! The teem gaming room is pretty awesome and that had alot of other little activities for the children to do . I love the libraries here in vegas

I have no idea who the phone receptionist is but she's very rude. I called to ask about their volunteer opportunities because I needed so many hours to graduate from high school and every time I called, she kept hanging up on me.

This library is awesome, staff is very helpful, actually walked me over to the section of books that I was interested in reading. Books look brand new although some titles have been out for a while. This is my new library home!!

As a missionary this is the perfect place to study! Mostly quiet with seating open for studying, well maintained and clean. Well designed layout and building, and some books I'll definitely read once I'm done with my mission!

Support your local library!!!!!!!!! Great place to study and read and has nice parks around it and even a hidden skate park way in the back its a cool spot i grew up coming to this library and still do to this day

They offer free English class for beginners here. The teacher is very dedicated to the students and they provide books as well. Brand new books , not just some photocopied ones. And all are free of charge.

Very easy to get to on foot, straight down Cheyenne until you reach to the double junction at Terrible Herbst and turn right via two lots of crossing. Very fluid checkout of books and ease of use

My son and I were at the park and a lady told me about this place. It was awesome!!! They had story time and music time for kids and our 2 yr old loved it!! Definitely going back

I am always able to find what I need through online searching. I can request what I'm searching for, have it sent to my home library, and they notify me when I can pick them up.

Nice library very well labeled as to books and DVDs etc. Very nice park for those who don't want to be inside the library. Seems this branch has more than the Sahara location.

Just recently moved around the area and I discovered this library about a week ago. Good first impression and the staff is very nice. My new go to spot for my study sessions!

Its been my library for over 23 years. Its clean, quick, doesnt have the biggest collection but its still pretty good. And their security guard is so friendly and courteous.

Nice, Quiet and Clean Facility..... I was told that if you haven't filed your taxes yet and you are needing assistance, they have certified professionals to help you...

Staff is very friendly and informative. Saturdays at 11am is family story time. The storyteller is very engaging with the kids. All spaces are very clean and orderly.

Do not say your open on google when your not. If your closed for staff training days state that you are closed. Some people do not have the money to waste on gas.

I needed to print our boarding passes and didn't have a clue what I was doing. The gentleman in the computer area was very patient with me and extremely helpful.

What a beautiful facility. I've never seen so many libraries before like here in Las Vegas. They have so many things to do here. Definitely going to board night.

Clean , Equipment works and there is always assistance if needed and a safe place for the family. They have movies , audio and of course text to reserve.
