I ordered at the DT and it seemed that the cashier was talking to someone else as I could hear another conversation going on in the background.Not sure if on the phone or in person but the employee was giggling. I had to repeat my order a couple of times at the speaker. Then when I got to the window I asked him to tell me my order and he still got that wrong. He tries to correct it on the POS but when I got home my order was still wrong. This happened 10-29-2023 at 9:30pm. I am not sure if this is the way they handle things at this location but It seems that talking on the phone or to other coworkers is more important than the customers. I won't visit this location again. I prefer the one on Ella.

Everything in me wants to leave a good review. I have to remove my 5 stars bc this location has consistently gone downhill. They serve "nuggets" instead of tenders. Been coming here for years but I have to change to another location that will actually serve tenders. I used my plastic fork to show the size of what they are calling a chicken tender here. EDIT: So, the "owner" replied with a canned response about contacting them for more details and that they're sorry that their serving wasn't the size I was used to. In order to avoid this problem I went to the Raising Cane's at 3007 Ella Blvd and received better sized tenders. I'm sorry that the owner of the Shepherd location feels they can continue to cheat people like this. This location lost a customer with this response.

We ordered a box meal, a 3 piece combo and they forgot to give us our bread with the meals, so when I went and asked them for our bread they were insisting that we had gotten them so I brought our bread less meals to the counter for them to see it for them selves and the cook in the back was giving us a hard time about correcting her mistake. After dealing with 2 different people and bout 10min later they finally gave us our bread. I asked to speak to the manager (Sabrina) and she was so super nice and very apologetic and said she would talk to the cook and even gave us a gift card for our next visit. Thank you Sabrina for turning our lunch experience from a not so good one to a great one!

Raising Cane's is a great place to get tenders, tea, and the best sauce for dipping! Don't be afraid to try the sandwich, very good as well. The chicken tenders aren't overly breaded and are perfectly fried each time. Get an extra cup of cane's sauce! Service is always prompt, and quick. The line may be long but it will move quickly, and be worth the wait!

I ordered from the drive thru as I had a meeting to get to, ended up sitting in the parking lot to eat. The food was smelling so good, and I love their fries !!! My food was hot, the tenders were crisp, and Coleslaw was delicious, and I had to have their Arnold Palmer tea. Took my time to eat and savor the flavor...still made it on time to my meeting. Very friendly service at this location, but as for the restaurant chain itself, I'm not sold. The chicken has no flavor and requires sauce to make it worth while eating. This is my second time eating from this restaurant chain, the first being at another location, and that was my last. Can't sell bland, slightly dry chicken for those prices and expect as good return. Arrived at 10:27am ordered box combo well my special request not salt fries was right extra crispy chicken good well no ketchup I asked that they keep the cane sauce and give me ketchup well nothing like dry chicken and fries..12/7/2021 I changed the ratings to 4 stars one thing about this chain of restaurants if they make a mistake and you let them know they will correct the mistake. All the managers are great if I've had an issue they give you an explanation and they correct the problem they are never disrespectful great customer service thanks for the service of hot fresh food and a smile even with a mask on

Baby these fingers was so damn juicy and crispy. I got there RIGHT before they closed the lobby. My boy at the counter already know what time I was on so he hooked me up, made sure I had the saucy sauce sauce. Baby when I tell u everything came up fresh like Grandma's Sundays dinner. Finger licking good baby. And it was just as fresh and clean inside. The bathroom was on point, i had my lil toilet paper and tht good smelling hand soap too. Oh yes one time for RCC!!

I ordered at the drive thru at midnight during the week. I was happy they're open late. The service was great. They told me it would be approximately a 5 minute wait. When I got my food, it was hot and fresh. My order was correct. The chicken fingers are small. After going on for a 10 mile hike, I needed calories. The franchise needs to offer slightly larger chicken fingers. Would I go back to this location? Absolutely! Great service was the highlight of my visit.

This place is hilarious. They don't give you ketchup even if you ask for it with your order. The people that work here are robots of this dystopian hellscape. The chicken is OK, but nothing compared to Zaxby's or Chick-fil-A. Soft/soggy breading and stale fries. Everything you could hope for in an American fast food chain. Their pink mayo sauce is disgusting too. Whatever happened to honey mustard being the proper condiment for chicken fingers? This place blows hard.

My husband and I can't get enough of Cane's! The staff is always so friendly! We've actually got to know them, which really indicates how often we come to this location. One thing that doesn't compare to other places (apart from the amazing food!!) is how fast they get our food to us. My husband and I usually come during less popular times but today it was packed and we waited 5 minutes or less for our order! Other reviews mention how they may mess up an order here and there but honestly that happens anywhere. Special shout out to Shane who always makes our visit great! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

My friends and I used to love coming to Canes but I feel like it just keeps going downhill. Not only have the prices gone up but the size of the tenders and the quality of everything have gone severely down. The reason I'm finally writing a review after several bad experience in the last year is this one was probably the worst. The fingers were so tiny they were more like pinkies and they were very overcooked and tasted burnt. The fries and toast were cold and not seasoned as well as they usually were. It's just sad that I don't wanna come back anymore even after all the great memories years ago.

Loved this location. Friendly staff, great ambiance, and classic Cane’s experience. Tight situation for parking though - not a lot of spots and the drive through line dominates the outside gravel. It’s right off I-10 and gets really packed at peak times around lunch and dinner. They support local causes through fundraising and signs of support in the store. Great place to stop for lunch.

I never been to this location before, but I was in the area so I decided to stop bye and to my surprise the service wasn’t good at all. With absolutely no one in the restaurant I got my food in a timely manner but my chicken, fries, and bread were all less than microwave warm as if it had been sitting under a warm light for quite some time. I have been to many raising canes throughout the city and this is by far the worst Raising Canes experience that I have yet to encounter from any other location. I definitely would not come back to this location on Shepherd and I 10.

So even though I am disappointed on one visit, they get 5 stars anyway due to every thing else. I ordered fries at 11:50, in the drive through just before they closed. Instead of serving me fresh fries, I got luke warm fries. However, most of the time they do well. Everyone has an off day, eventually, but they rarely do. So 5 stars. They serve chicken fingers. No chicken breasts, no chicken fried steaks, just chicken fingers, freshly cooked, almost too hot to hold, and they have a tasty sauce you have to try, the Cain sauce. Give them a try. And get the lemonade!

I saw a Raising Cane billboard on the Eastex Fwy near my house. I decided to give it a try when I saw their restaurant on Shepherd Dr. @ the Katy Fwy. I was not disappointed. In fact, I loved it. I ordered the Box Combo (four juicy chicken fingers, french fries, cole slaw and a slice of Texas toast). The food was excellent and very affordable. The young man who took my order was super friendly. Since I'm a military veteran, he gave me a 10% discount. My dine In meal was ready before I had a chance to sit down. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The food is always tasty, and it prepped very well. You know you are going to have a great meal because you can count on the consistency of quality food each and every time.

More appropriately, Raising Cane’s Chicken Pinkies. This chain mastered the art of worsening quality. Years ago, the chicken fingers actually satisfied your appetite. However, the box combo can be argued as being just a snack today. Just look at the size of these pieces—the size of a ketchup packet. Trust, the camera magnifies it and looks better in picture. Dirtiest canes that I’ve been too in my life. Multiple fruit flies or gnats or whatever, in multiple sizes. the seats were gross the booths were oily and crooked. The bathroom floors were super nasty. But the two make counter guys were super friendly and gave us lemonade even though it was an up charge which I didn’t know… Also, if you’re eating in, the parking spots and walking path in is odd and dangerous. Other than that, same taste. Same everything.

I love how I ordered a large drink and mentioned it 2 times, they hand me a regular. after mentioning that I ordered a large they fill a large cup 3/4 of the way with ice and transfer ice tea from regular cup into large one.................. now that great customer service. upon request I would have happily paid for the large if they didn't already charge me for it. Thanks raising canes employees, after all of the times I've spent money here.

Glad I didn't order two of those dipping sauces because I ran out of chicken on the first one. I feel kinda of insulted that these are considered chicken fingers... more like chicken figments of my imagination. Thank god the fies filled me up. My order was Togo. Got home fries obviously had been sitting for long time abd were not fresh. The cole slaw that the revues rage about was terrible. Can't hold a candle to a long go restaurant called Grandy's. Chicken was fresh but I prefer the Cornell original recipe. Bread was cold. Overall not satisfied with this visit.

Drive thru super super slow, got home, checked our food bags and no sauce!! Prices went wayyyy up on the food and it’s super annoying to get no sauce. Called them and they said “must have gotten mixed up with someone who didn’t want sauce” like what. Won’t be coming back.

I received 4 tiny little chicken strips that were so hot they melted styrofoam into the chicken strips. Will this give you cancer? Throwing my food away to be safe. Very disappointed with this location. Canes is one of my favorite spots. Wont be back to this location.

The front counter crew was absolutely friendly and fast. We stopped while on a field trip from Channel with 65+ students, teachers and chaperone. The food was hot, fresh and handed out quickly. We were able to enjoy the food without rushing to our next destination.
