This is for the buffet only although I think the grounds are relaxing and beautiful. The buffet... I mean ..post pandemic it's very hard to find an affordable buffet .. everything in our World has changed. Honestly do I think this place is worth $30? I do not but when compared to what else is around and what $30 gets you then ok it probably is worth $30... although pre-covid I think it's worth $18. I've been here twice. Once for brunch which I don't recommend for the price.. it was a pretty hard no for me.. nothing was particularly tasty or fresh. Lastnight I went for dinner.. the Prime Rib dinner. I have a question meat cutting lady...why can you give me 2 thin slivers of what really seems more like roast beef than one slightly thicker piece which would make it actually more like Prime Rib? I think I'll ponder that question forever as she refused to give me a slightly thicker piece which was very disappointing as I was craving a Prime Rib. They also have pork ribs so I grabbed some of those but they use some sort of seasoning that I didn't enjoy , a piece of fried chicken..nothing exciting, a piece of cod , some mashed potatoes that were fairly decent for a buffet but the best thing I had yesterday were their glazed carrots. I was so so so disappointed to learn they only have creme brulee on Saturdays and Lastnight was Friday. The bread pudding was ok but didn't fill the void of creme brulee. You are most likely wondering why I still gave the place 4 stars when I left disappointed without being able to fill my cravings of Prime Rib and Creme Brulee... it's probably closer to 3 stars but they have great service , everything is clean and new, and the realist reason is $30 just doesn't get you much anymore. So lower your expectations and head on over if you're in the area.
I've visited this property several times, to include recently, on 23 Sep 2023. The casino area isn't as robust, compared to other properties in the valley; however, they do offer a lot of similar/popular games. I don't have anything significantly negative or positive to highlight about this place, other than my family and I do enjoy stopping by once in a great while to either play or eat at the restaurants on site. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We have never had an awful experience with any of the employees on property. The cocktail waitresses actually come around more often than the casinos on the strip (but I think all off-strip casinos are more efficient in their drink service than on-strip). Two things about this property I'm not a huge fan of are: (1) It seems that there are more cigarette/cigar smoke in the air compared to other local casinos...every time I walk around, it feels as though I can't walk in a path without walking past someone holding a cigarette right next to me. It wouldn't be as bad if it's just my wife and I, but whenever we bring our daughter to go eat, I can't stand having her walk past those inconsiderate smokers who blow their smoke right in the path of where people walk; and (2) I guess I'm just unlucky, but I have never won anything at this property...EVER! Regardless, none of these reasons are at the fault of the establishment...I think? And obviously, these are only my opinion, and may not affect others wanting to visit. If you've never been to this property, it's definitely worth visiting. You don't have to gamble at all, you can just walk around or go eat at one of the many restaurants on site. The area is very serene - highly recommend this property to everyone.
4/2023 Visit here for breakfast, blood drive and slot play. Air qualiry is much improved. Renovation/remodeling is complete. Open, bright and modern. Earl Grey zcafe breakfast was great and customer service was excellent. The blood drive in the conference area was very organized and receptionists and technicians were excellent. The air quality needs to be improved. Lots of slot machines but cramped. Buffet is being remodeled so it's relocated in ballroom upstairs. Selections were limited and quality not as good. Service was slow Revisited this month 6/2022. Air quality is better. Buffet remodel is completed. Very modern neat clean and well laid out dining area. Food was excellent. Customer service was great. Restrooms have been remodeled as well. There are more gaming machines. Additional security indoor and in parking area. Free parking. No masks required. Will revisit again. 9/1/22 Visited here. Free parking with handicaphelpful. No masks required. Customer service at members desk was friendly and helpful. The are doing interior remodeling in stages but still allowing visitors. Air quality is good. Interior is neat and clean. Restrooms are remodeled with trendy look. Market Place Buffet has increased in price as of today. However the selections are up to par. Staff was great. Our server was super.
Wish the machines would ever let you win a penny or even just be ahead for a few minutes and it would be a whole lot more fun to play here. The dry spells are ridiculously long and the wins terribly few and ultra-puny. No matter how conservative your betting is, the house takes you down dollar after dollar with no decent wins anywhere in sight. Do they not realize that if their machines don't provide some sort of enjoyment ever, people will stop coming to play them. This establishment seems completely unembarrassed that their machines are enfuriatingly bereft of any jackpots. Come a hundred times. You will leave a loser 100 out of 100 times. Perfect record Rampart. Good job ever providing any entertainment anytime to anyone anywhere!!!!!
Adjacent to the JW Marriott in Summerlin, Spiedini's Italian Restaurante is a great dining experience at reasonable prices. From Chopped Salads to Osso Bucco, Calamari, or a Meatball Appetizer, served in a classic upbeat Art Deco Dining Room. New Hawthorne Grille, new Market Buffet, new Asian Fusion Restaurant named Jade. The Promanade coffee shop is enclosed in Glass to null out casino noise a cigarette smoke. New sports book with an Clubhouse Sandwich Shop. Tables games craps with 10X odds. Blackjack games with doubling on splits. Lots of new slots with improved lighting in main gaming area. The parking garage capacity has been increased by 50%.
I haven't been to Vegas for many, many years, but slot machines have totally lost their appeal by being electronic. No excitement of coins pouring out, no buckets to carry around, no longer fun. As for the rest if the casino... being a non smoker it is pretty difficult for me to sit in for any length of time. I can hardly tolerate walking through. Seems like casinos over all could do a better job of cleaning the air at the very least. As for the buffet... the dessert bar was delicious, the salad bar was decent, but the rest was mediocre at best. The $8.99 lunch price (with players card) was worth it, but I wouldn't have paid anymore.
Great little casino and hotel! The grounds are clean and beautiful, mini park for walking, also a pond where ducks swim The pool is small, at the weekend there were not too many people, the water is comfortable, it is possible to find free sunbeds. Also on the territory there is a starbucks and a buffet. I expected more from the buffet... the choice is small, the food is not cooked very tasty, desserts were not bad. Friendly staff. If you are looking for a place for a full meal, or seafood, you will have to go look for something off site. Otherwise we enjoyed everything
This was my 1st visit. I liked the casino, as it was clean and attractive. The buffet was ample and delish! I went to the bar to ask for water, and one bartender VERY RUDELY answered that if I didn't have a player's card, I couldn't have water. As I was walking away, another bartender who had overheard my exchange apologized for his co-worker's poor service and very kindly offered me water. All it takes to ruin an experience is a bad staff member, and all it takes to offer a memorable experience is a dedicated staff member. Thank you, no-name bartender!
My husband and I rented a A car Through the rental service at this hotel and we had a really great experience. Upon returning the car my husband and I decided to explore it to explore this outdoor oasis area that they had inside. There are streams with a small bridge and even a waterfall to gaze at! What a hidden gem, there is even outside seating area for business meetings, lunch or just to take a break to enjoy nature and a few beautiful birds. We will definitely be back to enjoy all that this casino has to offer!
As far as off strip casinos are concerned this is pretty decent. Certainly not as many people are there, older crowd (45 to 75). The buffet is decent, especially when you get buy one get one free. They have a little bar that has live music, not sure if it's all the time or just weekends . . Sometimes good music and sometimes a little too old for me music. They also have a have a bar in the lounge with poker machines. I've only been to the Hawthorn Grill as far as restaurants are concerned and it was okay.
Atmosphere hella laid back, we went and just walking in me and my girl both hit within 10 minutes only hit for small bit like 130 or so. But she hit during the free games part, and she thought she had only hit for like 80 but then the people around us were like you did it you got it, you hit the major jackpot. I said babe, multiply that times 10 Hun. She said what, I'm like yeah you just slapped the Rampart for just under a Rack!!!! It was a nice night for us well put it mildly. Lol.
This casino is connected to a very nice, Marriott hotel. The casino actually has two floors. Smoking and non-smoking. The casino areas are pretty typical. To my surprise was the buffet. Yes sir, one of the few buffets still serving in this town. Dinner only. They have three different theme nights. Buffet runs $20 to $30 depending on the night. If you haven't been here at all or if you haven't been here for a while, it certainly worth a stop.
Love this place. The rooms are large and the bathroom is large with a shower and jacuzzi bathtub. I took a star away for the buffet. I have been here a few times and their food choices seem to stay the same and I think there can be more options. I went to the buffet two days back to back and the food was the same. The protein may have changed and soup but they cooked the same dishes from the day before.
Located off strip, but you know that already. Caters to the local crowd, but visitors are definitely welcome. A smaller venue, but that can be nice. Some recent updates and remodels to eating areas. Two bar areas, one that can handle dancing and or singing. Locals tend to be an older crowd, but because of the adjoining hotel, a bit of mixed crowd thrown in. Overall a nice atmosphere and experience.
I got a good buffet bar here last year for $20. I went back on Sat this year. That $20 rate was for lunch on weekdays. I went to their cafe instead and got a much bigger than I thought cheesesteak for $15. Very good with a side of coleslaw. I couldn't finish it, they did offer a to-go box which I declined. I would reorder this next trip. I just need a bigger appetite.
Everyone at this casino is simply awesome. I have always stayed at the strip until my friend from work told me to give this place a shot. I feel welcomed and at home when I come over to this casino unlike many other places where they don't even remember my name. If you are looking for a place away from the mainstream casino action of the strip, look no further.
The place is usually full by the look of it, especially Friday thru the weekend. Masses of people gambling - hopefully not their paychecks away. Several different restaurants, depending on choice and prices. The hotel and rooms are very good, away from the Hussel and Bussel, so quiet. The grounds are fantastic, and spectacular views towards the mountains.
Had not been there in a longtime... Place is GREAT... Super array of new And old-fashioned..... Unlike other places ... alot of lower minimum machines !!! nice... NOT ONLY .75-.88-1.00 ...machines....$.... Place Is extreme clean, great AiR quality... Huge non smoking Area .... All good.... Go... U will enjoy .....
Visited the casino, nice easy layout and had breakfast at the promenade cafe. Staff were excellent. Had a great breakfast, deuces wild $8.99 and a hot Tea. Pancakes were fab. Friend had pancakes with blueberries they were massive and delicious. All too much came away way too full but a good start to the day. Thumbs up!
Nice casino and the lounge music was great. It was our first time here on a Friday evening. We wanted to stay at the lounge but left because of the bartender, we found him rude and offense and won't go to his bar again. We spoke with a supervisor who was great and accommodating but we left anyways.
JW Marriott makes a "locals friendly" atmosphere special. While still a casino, it doesn't feel quite so Vegas. My room was clean and quite comfortable. I especially like the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. I even found a space to have quiet coffee in the morning on the well manicured grounds.
I really like this casino. A totally local vibe and lots of new slot machines as well as a great selection of the old school ones in a wide range of denominations. The downsides are no free wifi, limited dining choices and I couldn't find the non-smoking section so must be pretty small.
Love the Rampart! Always can count on friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tre at the front desk of the Palms Tower always professional and helpful. Paul, the valet, always friendly and helpful! Great place to stay...staff always makes you feel like you are home!
Really a beautiful casino but the staff here, primarily the security are absolutely rancid. They have 0 respect for customers and have never even heard of a course on customer service, much less taken one. Otherwise the property is beautiful clean and fun .
I spoke to a casino host regarding my free two-night hotel stay voucher that was issued to me. There is no expiration date on the voucher. The casino host, a young woman whose office is decorated with gaudy trinkets, was confused about the
Rampart Casino is our one and only choice in Las Vegas Casino's. It's worth the drive becausr they have the best service you will find from the Valet workers to all their friendly staff . It has many game choices and their music is Great!
Overall it is a nice and clean place. However, the machines are to insanely set way too high. Maybe the owners are trying to shut down this place. Someone should show them math. When prices on the streets are skyrocketing on everything,
Good atmosphere and good games. Went here a few times for craps but others attending can make or break your experience. The waitresses are nice but there are small things that I personally didn't like so I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
Rampart Casino calls the same People every weekend for the drawings. Not fair to the rest of us. Been going there for almost 4 years and never been called. Can't win much either. Other then that I like the Rampart. Staff friendly.
Beautiful place first timer it was great wonderful customer service at the rewards counter nice young man I will be back I won too .but will be back to try out the buffet and more gambling thank you for a great experience …
Nice variety of gaming, plenty of machines, beverage servers are very friendly, appreciative and service is fast. Can't say the same about the Bartenders though, they could use some customer service skills and a friendly smile.
Easy to get around the casino and parking is plentiful, average buffet, but abit smokey but table games area dealers are super friendly and always seem to have a smile on their face. Over all a pleasant visit. 4.5 stars. …
They could pay out more Steven is $75 free slots fans and gave me nothing for it lol. But I pray GOD grants us a blessing . Kinda seems like they are stingy as far as giving some good wins!?!??? To me anyway . …
I play here frequently almost daily and I must say I lose more times than I win. I know its gambling but you should be able to win sometimes. The food lacks flavor in all but one restaurant The Hawthorn Grill is excellent.
Awesome customer care, attention to details, leadership team, and customer data is safe and secured. Elegant in style. Managed by diversified team and added in response to customers needs instantly ✌️ …
Average casino offerings. Staff is friendly. Quite a distance to travel, but off the strip and clean. Self parking is free, but it is worth following the signs around the building to use. Mostly, locals go here.
The buffet was amazing! Came for my free birthday buffet, ended up with another free coupon for my guest AND $15 on free play. Left stuffed and up $20. Best birthday decision I could have made! Thanks Rampart!
I just stopped by to meet my brother for Breakfast at the Earl Grey Cafe. Good breakfast, great service. Easy parking is available. Rampart Casino is a nice local casino. Recommended. Go Cowboys!
I think that this is the best hotel in Vegas. You are not paying the strip premium, a true resort feel, great pool, great buffet, no casino preassure, not overcrowded at all times, big rooms....
The Rampart used to be a fun place to gamble. One could play a while with $ 100. In the last months however it seems that the only ones winning are the weekend tourists. Casino has become lousy
My favorite local casino. Video poker is my game & the machines are well maintained. The floor attendents are friendly & professional. I also like the variety of restaurants & the spa is fab!
The JW Marriott Hotel attached to the Rampart Casino has exceeded my expectations. Robert at the front desk was more than helpful, providing helpful information and was a really nice person.
I only came here to rent a car. which was a horrible experience, but nothing to do with this casino. I ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious the server was so sweet and friendly.
I wanted to check out Rampart after seeing some slot reviews. Good selection of machines, very clean casino. It was a bit removed as far as location as it's out by the Suncoast casino.
Got to meet Vegas Low Roller, so a fantastic experience only because of that opportunity. Lost too much $$$ to mention and had to literally chase down cocktail waitresses for a drink.
Now this is one of our better casinos!! More class and elegance away from the strip. Located in Summerlin. Tons of places to take beautiful pictures. I really love the courtyard ❤️
Absolutely loved the place. I played slots all night long and the next morning casino slot boss was kind enough to comp me a room. Now thats the way a casino should treat you.
Omg!!! Met some awesome youtubers that actually were filming. Definitely can not get lost in there it has a homey feel and not too big not too small it's just right!!
FRIENDLY GAMING TEAM AND FAIR FOOD. Earl Grey restaurant is great for breakfast and light meal. Buffet is mediocre at best. Not what it was before covid. ENJOY
Band was good! The bartender was horrible. Had to go walk the floor to find a waitress just to get a drink. She was the best! Fast service! Had a great time!
Earl Grey Cafe. Outstanding service. Very fair menu prices with high quality products. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. Highly recommend.
I love this casino. It's spaces out enough that I don't feel like I'm bumping into someone every few feet. Parking and casino access is easy.
No service at this casino. I think you could pass away at a slot machine and no staff would notice, good buffet, terrible drink/slot service.
Nice upscale resort and casino. Friendly staff and enjoyable ambiance make this place a choice place to hang out and play the tables & slots!
Tayfun is the man!!!! He’s the future of the casino industry and brings a superior level of service thru interaction with customers.
No luck lol but its a nice place I love the fact that its the only place that has live band with a touch of the past, the old Vegas
On Sunday, we enjoyed a wonderful family brunch after our daughters beautiful wedding on Saturday night at JW Tower One …
Can’t remember the last time I actually had a good time playing slots here. 3 years. I can’t remember a single good outing.
Smaller casino but nice we had a great time playing black jack. Table hosts were friendly and inviting. I will go back.
A "locals" casino. A bit dated but in the casino, in your rooms, or at any of the restaurants and shops, great service.
It was Superbowl weekend and it was the most amazing time of my life there .1st time ever and will always come back..
Small casino with slots and video poker. There are various restaurants and a buffet. Little piggy ripped me off
We couldn't be there because of cigarettes stink. They have small non smoking area, but the stink is everywhere.
Love the Casino floor and Buffet especially on 2 for 1 they have once a month. We ate there today Market Buffet
Smaller casino experience. We had an excellent dinner at Hawthorne grill !! Excellent meeting rooms available.
I love to go in the middle of the night and it's always clean and all the employees are friendly and helpful
Great hotel/Casino, I totally recommend this Hotel...friendly service all points, try it...you'll love it !!
Had a blast won some cash then ended up at their cafe with a beastly burger. Definitely will be returning.
Overall the amenities and atmosphere nice..I go to enjoy the dining options close to home mainly.
Very large and nice casino in the Summerlin area, just minutes from Red Rock Resort and Casino.
Early bird omelet breakfast special was delicious. The employees were friendly and helpful.
Went to buffet. Saturday champagne brunch. Very good. Pricey at 35.00 per person
I brought my family here from Hawaii. They enjoyed playing the slot machines.
Very beautiful casino off the strip. Quiet and very good food and service.
Comfortable. Stylish. Very clean. Great cocktails. Fabulous staff.
Very basic breakfast. Service was average. Nothing special here.
Great place to have fun. The Bingo is top notch. Friendly place
