My mazda surprised me with the coolant water reserve low. Checking my hose system l found that the fitting at the water pump had broken . I have my own machine who has decided to move to Fairfield for business reasons which made it hard to get there . Looking for a mechanic on line and reading reviews l noticed Rapid tune had some people who where experience great results. I must say contacting Rapid tune Braside speaking to Bailey l felt that l new the guy . I have been changing my own filters and oils due to distance and very happy to have trip over a great organizations who are great mechanically but service experience excellent. My Mazda has never run so smooth. I have had my mother inlaws car service there since and the kids that drive it noticed the difference . l have just booked the Mazda for a service and a water pump inspection . Pricing is responsible , business is doing it tough these days and Bailey and his teammates have really gone out of there way to make me feel that l am getting a fair price and believe l am to.!!! Over a decade of using different mechanics, I can honestly say the team at Rapid Tune Braeside are hands down some of the best! I had a lot of problems with my current car and was using another mechanic in the area until I was quoted a ridiculous price for an oil leak. After having the car inspected by Ben and his team, it turns out that the leak wasn’t that hard to fix after all, in fact Ben had it fixed and multiple other issues rectified in a quarter of the time that I was originally told. Honest and fairly priced is something you can’t say often when it comes to mechanics. Ben’s communication and level of detail when explaining the issues is very refreshing (don’t know a lot about cars mechanically). I was even shown the works that had been done which is a service I had never gotten. I’ve definitely found my go to team at Rapid Tune. Very Professional and great communication. I have to explain that my car is a fully imported Nissan 300ZX. I have had this car taken to a number of Mechanics and ALL have created more problems than they ever fixed. The Rapid Tune Braeside team not only talked to me about what my expectations were they understood the problems and worked through them with me one step at a time. They took a difficult to work on car with multiple problems created by previous inept mechanics, that ran like a tractor, and gave me back a sports car that purrs like it supposed to and can launch of the line like it was meant to. I would absolutely take my car back to the Rapid Tune Braeside team when I need anything else done. I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else :)

Seems to be a nice large newly started workshop in the neighbourhood, I thank you Dylan for your quote and the free testing on my Territory other day, quoted parts including installation of Rear Shock absorber - upper bushing, Rear Trailing arm - lower front bushing, Rear Differential - bushing kit (3) for $1600. I did little shop around found all Nolathane genuine parts for about $ 470, and installation for $550 here in Braeside who runs workshop over twenty years, so I think we all want to save some bucks and for a good job, Unfortunately Rapid tune Braeside is pricy but I cannot mention about their quality of their service. guys if you want to save money pickup the phone and shop around I saved over $500 with some one else

Fraudulent business that will happily overcharge or add additional service items without your consent to raise revenue. Confirmed over the phone exactly what I wanted from this service but was hit with a $88 cost for a “computer scan” and a $38 “vehicle ventilation system sanitiser” cost - both of which I have never heard of in my history or servicing my car. When the issue was raised with Adam (manager) and coworker, it had not been rectified despite me pointing out numerous times that I was out of pocket $88 + $33 for jobs on my car I had never requested and once legal action was threatened, a partial refund was given (see the attached image). Completely unprofessional! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Adam is always very friendly and has been completely transparent on both times I have dropped off my car for service. He makes sure I understand what is being worked on and whether it's completely necessary or not and leaves it up to me to decide (unlike other places who hard sell and corner you to spend more than you need to). This one time he picked up on a blunder made by another very popular car service brand and made sure my car was safe to drive by bringing in the spare part from NSW and didn't even charge me for the labor as I had to bring my car in on a different day. I would highly recommend Rapid Tune Braeside if you are looking for that personal touch from a truly local mechanic!

Rapid Tune Braeside sure lived up to their high rating which was a factor in my choosing them in the first place. I am very happy happy with my car service and intend to take my other car to Rapid Tune Braeside when it’s due for service. I was kept informed of progress with the service. Pricing was clear and transparent. It is very difficult for find reliable and good mechanics that are trustworthy and I’m glad to have discovered Rapid Tune Braeside. Had a great experience with the guys at Rapid Tune Braeside!! They’ve gone out of their way to help me with jump starting my car nearby twice, as well as offering me their loan car while it was being serviced and driving me to work nearby when needed. They’ve been in contact with me every step of the way and updated me as soon as needed for any issues and confirmations on the car. Ben has been outstanding both times I’ve been in, and they have really looked after me as a customer, I couldn’t recommend them higher! I first went to Rapid Tune Braeside in June and since then Adam, Ashlee and team have been looking after my car and my wife's. Service and Transparency are a rare thing to find in the auto trade but you will definitely find it here. I could not recommend these guys more highly. They are excellent at what they do and realistic about the time it takes and the costs that go with it. Add the above to their exceptional level of customer service and you simply can't go wrong. I can not praise the team at Rapid Tune enough. I was very nervous about dropping my car off this morning. Being a female I’ve been treated badly in the past by mechanics. The boys looked after me so well. They talked through everything with me before I left. They even drove me back to work! The communication from everyone was outstanding. When I went back to collect my car, everything was explained to me in detail. I highly recommend this company and I am definitely bringing my car back here! I rang up to enquire on Friday and was booked in for Monday morning. A short wait and discussion with Dyson on the front desk followed by mid morning phone call from Adam the owner. Not only did I get a good quote on the muffler I wanted fixed I also received a verbal report and quote for other items that needed attention. Recently I had to see a mechanic regarding our Toyota ,I was referred to Adam and his team by a friend and honestly he was onto everything, very professional in what he is doing, I normally wouldn’t leave my car to anybody but Adam was quite knowledgable explaining everything getting done and how long it might take and what would be the best option, he organized after hour pick up because of work and distance from him, he also helped with a RWC, such a great person thanks mate.

Fairly new garage in the area and was right next door to my work hence why I decided to give them a go. Ben was fantastic, great customer service, friendly & professional. Already knew what part I needed replacing and was given numerous options quotes. Quick turn around and the car was ready same day. Really competitive pricing and one of the best mechanics I've dealt with. Would recommend to anyone needing a service or work done on their car, definitely give them a go!

I have now used Adam and the Rapid Tune team twice for service on my Outlander Hybrid. They provide a detailed analysis of the works they do, the service quality is of a very high standard as good, probably better than the dealer that ripped me off for the warranty period services. The price is great, no hidden extras, I am paying about 50% of what Mitsubishi dealer was charging me, and Adam treats me like a real person, not just a number. Thanks Adam and the team.

I went here to change my car's power steering pump. But when I drove back home, the whole dash went crazy and the car stopped working on the way. It was after hours so I couldn't use my car the whole night and even next morning and couldn't go to work. They should've checked thoroughly and did a better test drive before handing it over. Turned out the alternator was damaged when they changed the pump. They've fixed it but it gave me so much headache.

Great same day service, quality tyres and reasonable pricing. But most importantly these guys care about customers. I arrived on a flat tyre car, left it at the service and I was offered a lift to and from work, which is not far from Rapid Tune. Several years ago we also had to use Rapid Tune’s services and had the same, great service as now. Thank you guys for your work!

Way too Expensive. They didn’t do test drive after fixing my car. Oil levels are not fill upto their levels. When shift changes the next mechanic take over the shift he is not updated what is going on to ur car. One said u can come tmrrw we will fix the problem and another one said we r too busy today u have to come now to fix ur problem in the car. Not recommended.

The team here are totally amazing. Very professional. They go above and beyond to provide you the best experience. I'm not sure who those negative reviews visited, but it certainly wasn't this store. I've been using this team for 2 years and have not had a single issue, nor have the 10 or so other ppl I have sent here. Great team, great prices. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with the quality of customer service and attention to detail on my car. It runs noticeably more smoothly and lots of minor niggles have been ironed out. Then when I just happened to drop in with a nail I had spotted in my tyre, they repaired the puncture without me having to purchase anew tyre. Saved me hundreds! Turned up at 8am, had organised a lift to pick me up, organised my morning around this and the guy goes ‘oh we can’t do the repair today Daniel tried to call you’ I have no missed calls or messages from Daniel. So wasted my whole morning and have to re book elsewhere because they don’t value their customers time
