I was not impressed with the park. Being my first time to visit Ghana and Kumasi in particular, I had read so much good reviews about the place and wanted to experience it in person. Prior to entering the place I asked the ticket guy at the gate what I was to expect inside the park, just before I bought the ticket, and he told me it was an amusement park. With that, I went ahead to purchase tickets for myself and my brother who traveled with me. Upon getting inside, I was, to say the least, unamused. There was nothing interesting happening inside. The pool table was old and not in good shape, the swimming pool was dirty and unclean. The children slides was small in size and I could see adults having to use it, maybe just to amuse themselves as the park isn't amusing. I also saw people having picnics there which is cool. If you just want to have a picnic with friends and family, or just need a spot for an alone quiet time, then I highly recommend the park. However, if you're a lone fun seeker, looking for something amazing, the the place isn't for you.

Rattray Park is just adjacent to the Golden Tulip hotel. The Rattray Park is well noted for its festive activities like the Christmas and Easter gatherings for both children and adults. The place is always open for one's afternoon or evening relaxation, amidst and cools and good dishes. Children like the place because it has all it takes to make them happy. Games for children are readily available here and the environment is also surrounded by trees and shrubs, making it easy for one to feel the cleanest and dust-free air. Generally, the place is quiet and very accommodating in the afternoon. Nevertheless, Rattray has a very small car park.

This is a nice park in the heart of the city. My kids enjoyed the pizza from the restaurant by the pool. Our drinks were ice cold and the kebabs were yummy. The play spaces were fun with some good play gyms. The mini golf area was missing clubs and balls. The water fountain looked broken with mosquito breeding murky water sitting on the bottom. The pool design looked really cool, although the water didn't look clean. Overall it's a good place for kids under 12 to run around while the adults hang out in the restaurant area.

I visited this place with a couple to do a wedding photoshoot. The scenery was great and the surrounding was also not bad. The grass looks properly maintained. The kids playground was functional and the entire place is neat. I couldn't visit the pool side so I can't say much about that. I don't know if it's because I was there on a Sunday but the place wasn't busy. I could count the number of people I saw there. I noticed an enclosed portion suitable for all events and the park in general is a great place to relax.

The park is very nice and the lawns are well kept. I personally like the serenity of the park and recommend it for all my friends. The location is the number one key to its success . It's located opposite an iconic hotel in the city of Kumasi, moreover the fountain and pool are spectacular to the eye. I will surely return to this place many times. I say, Thank you to the workers and management ❤. The best park Kumasi can offer

It's awful. Don't come here. Nothing to see and even nothing to eat and drink. The fridge in the restaurant was not plugged in. No AC, not organized tables and chairs. I just wasted my money, 10 GHC. The officer even didn't tell me that there is nothing before I paid him. I don't want to give any point for here. Everything is not prepared to let any guest enter. Such a terrible place an officer

The Rattray park, pool, and bar in Kumasi is as good as it gets! There's great music, cold drinks, a large pool, and a covered area to sit under. The setting is charming and the perfect spot to hide out from the heat with a bottle of water, sip cold beers while it rains, or watch televised soccer and see goal after goal. Great place to visit..

Almost all the places we loved and cherished from our childhood are not pleasant anymore. Rattray park is no exception and it hurts me. I don’t know whose fault it is but the place has been poorly managed over time. The name still exists but not for what it used to be.

This is a good place to bring your children to have some fun, swim, and enjoy the special Rattray foods. Also, adults can use this place for their hangouts and events. The place needs more playing tools to make it fun. The available playing materials are very limited, even for children.

The place has been run down due to lack of maintenance. Almost all the kids playthings are not in working condition. There is a horse the kids can play with. The washrooms are eyesores.
