For anyone reading this review, you’re probably like me, scared of what is going to happen at the dentist, maybe you are scared about being scammed by a dentist who is just looking to make money. I trusted a dentist in a fancy dental office, in a nice neighborhood with adequate reviews. If you want the run down on that experience, look at my reviews and you can read about that mess. This review is about Dr. Kim and my experience with him and his staff. The office is not in a fancy neighborhood, but the office is very clean and efficient. It serves the purpose. What I have come to understand is I want my money to go towards a competent Dentist who wants to help people and not a fancy office. Dr. Kim has a very relaxed, almost playful bedside manner and GREAT sense of humor! He wants to talk and get to know you before he goes messing around in your mouth. He is very gentle handed and likes to keep a lighthearted, positive atmosphere, his assistants who are lovely, are very friendly and informative. I don’t know what people are looking for when they go to the dentist, but as for me, I need to trust that the dentist is looking out for my best interest not their own! He is sincere, frank and very intelligent. He knows how to fix the problem and he won’t try to take advantage. This is a person who you can tell got into the field he is in because he enjoys it. He is very knowledgeable and enjoys explaining things. Maybe the fact that he loves what he does and doesn’t seem to be looking at people just as a way to make money is what makes his manner so positive? All I know is he is fantastic and I cannot express enough how highly I recommend this Dentist!

I'm not sure why there are many good reviews for this office. I just had my new patient appointment this morning and left dissatisfied. I never got a formal introduction or name from any of the staff members that were with me- including the doctor. No conversation or sense of hospitality/customer service. The dentist did my exam with only his gloved hands (no mirror or explorer) to check all of my teeth. The hygienist (I think) sat down next and also never used a mirror or any instrument, and only flossed and polished my teeth. She said I have no calculus that she can SEE, but never checked with an instrument to FEEL. I asked if she would use any scalers and she said no that she didn't need to since she saw no calculus. She didn't even use a light or loupes to help her see. I also was not given a toothbrush or floss after she was done. I am a dental hygienist and I left unsatisfied and will not be returning. Quality of care and customer service is not up to par for me. Sad to say, but I should have just did my own cleaning at home.

Dr. Kim and staff are the best ever. Everyone makes you feel right at home. Very personable and friendly. One of the techs came to the waiting area and shook everyone's hand and introduced himself. They communicate well. Dr. Kim is personable and knows his job very well. Best dentist I have met since being in Texas for 7 years. I am referring everyone to them that I can, Then there is a pharmacy in same building that made getting my pain meds a cinch after my surgical extraction. Thank you for your personal and kind care. See you on my follow appointment. Dr. Kim is a straight forward type of person and will explain his style up front. Can't do anything but respect his name!

I chose this place because of the reviews but i'm thinking they got paid to give good reviews. I was there for 45 min not a hello or wil be right with you. 2 other patients arrived over 15-20 later and got taken to the back.... Not to mention all black people in this place that were being attended. I told the the girl up front that I was leaving she said Ok, not a question about it... I was scared to even leave my truck in the parking lot. It smells inside. This place is a Joke... GHETTO.... The picture they use on here of the family of 3 does not go with this place... Nor the location, it's in the back of the building...

OMG I just left Red Bird Dental on Homestead.... The BEST, Honest an Coolest Doctor's an Staff ever. I can't name everyone but Thank YOU all so much for helping me. Thanks especially Ernie, she tried her best to help me an she did. Dr. Kim, Dr. Dave an Tweety these guys are the BEST also. I had a lip piercing removed I was so scared but Dr. Kim, Dr. Dave an Twenty made me feel so relaxed an comfortable, an they took it out so quick, NO PAIN at all. Really If I had to do it all over again I would. I really appreciate everything. I recommend this office over an over

Love this dentist staff is very friendly, understanding, gentle, and all around great people. They are very cheap and work around your insurance to make sure you get the care you need. My children love going to this dentist without any fear because the dentist make sure she explains everything to them and has a tremendous amount of patience. Did I mention they are true Christians and I say TRUE because you can tell by their actions not because they told me. I will recommend this place to anyone give it one shot, I promise you will remain a lifetime patients.

I walked in nervous of what would happen, but right away the Assistant by the name of Delina made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Once Dr. Whan entered he gave me reassurance that everything will be okay and went over the process with me. After a couple jokes the procedure I thought that would take and hour only lasted 15 seconds now Dr. Whan started and I was more than excited to tell them both how much of a good job I felt they did and how much better I felt. Will most definitely recommend.. now all I need is some insurance! Thank you Dr.Whan & Ms.Delina

Finally a company that cares about the people! The doctor is friendly and knows what he is doing. They charge fair prices! I had been in pain for almost year because I couldn't afford the procedure at other dentist offices. Price aside, they did it that day! I didnt have to pay 2 office fees and waste 2 days. I was in an out in about an hour! I never felt stupid for asking endless questions and the laughter/cheerful mood of all the staff was very refreshing. Having a staff sound happy to be at work makes my personally feel like I'm in a safe place.

I had a great experience Dr. Kim and Dr. David are the best I had recommended all my family and friends to the dentist office. They were professional, caring, made me feel safe, and encourage me as well. The front desk staff was great very kind and friendly Ms. Jessica was very professional and kind I really like how she takes care of the patients and very organized! The dentist tech were nice and professional always with a smile and very caring to the patients. I'm so glad to be part of this team may God continue to bless Dr. Kim and his staff!

Dr. Kim and staff are the best around. My grandfathers denture fell and one of the teeth fell off. I took it back and they fixed it and had it returned in under a few days. Everyone went out of the way to help me and my grandfather, I'm so very grateful to Red Bird for the care they ALWAYS provide me and my family. When you become a patient with this office you will always feel like you're the #1 patient by the way they treat you!!!! Highly recommend Dr. Kim and this office for all of your families needs, wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was referred by one of my coworkers. I was extremely nervous when I got there since I havent been to dentist in many years. But all that went away when I met their staff. They were very nice, friendly, caring and professional. Ray did my deep cleaning, he made sure I was comfortable and ok at all times. Ernie, the manager, explained my dental plan, answered all my questions and was very sweet, understanding and professional. I would definitely referred my family and friends here. These guys rock!

I was attacked by the korean office manager about a stuffed toy. He was talking to my 3 year old son like an animal. So of course as a mother I defended my son and myself. I did not get my tooth even xrayed because of a stuffed horse that was Given to him. So my first time at red bird will also be my last. Someone needs to give that man a talk because he obviously have issues especially to think he was going to talk to my 3 year old like a fool.

I call to make appointment last week and i gave them my insurance info.... When i call yesterday to check the time of my appointment today..... they told that they couldn't find so i gave them my insurance info again and was told that they would call me back to let me know if they found out if i have coverage... I still haven't hear anything from them my appointment was at 10 this morning... I need to find somewhere else to go

I was not able to attend the appointment with my two sons today and I was very leery about sending them with my brother. However, Bianca assured me that everything would be ok. She assisted me with updating my children’s information, she was very professional and polite. After the appointment was complete, she called me with an update as well as providing referral information. This lady was an absolute doll. Thank you Bianca!

Awesome staff.... Very kid friendly. I love each and every one of them to pieces. My daughter had to get some caps put on and she was nervous and so was I she said she felt no pain and they were done in a jiffy. I recommend them to everyone I kno they even did some work for me while pregnant and I was so happy with the service I switched my kiddos to them. We've been on with them 2 years now.

I LOVE RED BIRD DENTAL. Dr. Kim is so cool and his sense of humor calms the scary part of being at the dentist for major work. He was so attentive to me. The staff is wonderful, always have a good vibe, and jamming which adds to the calming affect. He is helping me attain my great smile and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a extraordinary dentist to visit.

I have been visiting RedBird Dental for a long time. A former coworker referred me to them, and I haven't found a dentist office that treats you as well as they do. I do not live in the area, but it is well worth my drive. If you are seeking to find a dentist that is experienced and that cares about you being treated well, visit RedBird. You won't be disappointed!

This place is such a family fun dentistry with excellent patient service and a knowledgeable doctor. They are very preventative with their practice and make you feel like part of their family. They accept all kinds of insurance and work hard and efficiently but always maintain that compassionate and friendly patient care. Very happy with my experience!

This location and the Katy location have a excellent staff! Everyone is friendly and will have you in tears laughing. Due to Memorial Day I was seen at the Katy location. The procedure went well. Today I was seen at the Homestead location. The procedure was quick and I was in and out. I also appreciate them taking me at the last minute as a walk in.

Definitely need evaluation in the customer service area. Some lady name Christine hung up the phone in my face after being on hold for 7 minutes. I asked to speak to someone else and she put a lady on the phone who said she was the office manager. Well this lady hung up in my face. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and the state.

Made a appointment and they can't see me for 2 weeks even though I told them my nerve is exposed! I'm pregnant in my third trimester I had to go to the emergency room for it. I was advised to go to the dentist & to take Tylenol until they can see me so I guess Tylenol for 2 weeks. Will update review once they actually see me....

Getting my son's and my own braces at this dental office. Great experience so far, friendly staff, & love Dr. Kim. He has been our Dr for over 14yrs (son, daughter, & self). Highly recommended. Great action plan implemented at the onset of covid-19 with keeping patients safe.

Just left from the homestead location. We got in and out. I had a cleaning done by Mr.Ray I think was his name. He made sure I was okay the whole time. Everybody was so nice and cool. Haven't gone to the dentist in 2 years and it was a breeze. Thank you!!!

Dr. kim and the male doctor is amazing!!!!!!!!!! They are my family number 1 dentist! They are the best! They are really good with children that has adhd. This is the only dentist doctor that was able to control my son behavior. excellent!

I was blown away by Ernie & Jessi.. They were very friendly and helpful. They took very well care of my kids during and after the process of their visits.. I strongly recommend they be notified on their great service to their customers...

Dr.Kim was able to schedule me for a weekend time slot on short notice. Only scheduled a cleaning, but he was willing to stay late to help me with some minor cosmetic work. He did a great job, and the staff was very friendly.

Dr.Kim is very Professional at what he does and makes you laugh because because His Humor..I used to be scared of going to the Dentist when I was kid..He helped me overcome my fear seeing a dentist.He knows me as Hammer.

From my personal experience coming to Red Bird Bird Dental has been horrible!!! I would not recommend my family,friends, or co workers to come here. Please do your research and look else where. Its not worth it

I Love Red Bird and the entire staff. They literally performed a miracle on my mouth. Eernie and Dr. Kim made the impossible literally possible!!!!!! They have a patient for life.

Homestead south dental is the best they clean your teeth very clean they're very nice. They have the coolest fish tank and have toys so the children can play with.

It took them 2 hours only to tell me they can't do any work on me because im pregnant. Even with the ob clearance and insurance verification. Extremely upsetting.
