Stays open late and pretty convenient as I live literally next door. Also has a good range of products and good deals. Service and staff are usually nice except for this one tall guy - this is the reason why I’m not giving 5 stars - which is extremely rude, seems to be making fun of customers - not sure if something specific about me as I am a regular or if he’s like this to everyone - and makes me feel weird and uncomfortable every time I show up. I came back way too many times hoping he was in a better mood but it didn’t happen, so I’m probably taking a longer walk from now on to avoid this weird and rude service. Other staff members are great though
A big liquor shop in the Century Tower in Pitt Street. A much better organised store with bigger space to explore the stock. A very friendly staff was here with a bright welcoming smile and offer assistance if required. A relaxing atmosphere that encourages you to spend time checking out the merchandise. From imported hard liquor to local wines and beers labels. I find the prices more expensive than others in the area! There's street parking for a quick stop and shop or the closest public parking in World Square. Entrance is wheelchair accessible.
We went out for a feed Saturday night only to find the restaurants liquor license had expired. So we asked for the most convenient bottle shop and this was it, we purchased a couple bottles of wine and a few other drinks and were greeted by a couple of friendly faces. Pricing is as expected in the heart of the CBD but the service and variety for such a small shop made the experience here enjoyable. late trading on the weekends a extra bonus.
Great staff who know their stock better than anywhere else I know. Well lit store, well stocked and well planned layout makes this bottle shop very customer focused. Prices are all much better than expected for a bottle shop in the middle of the city. It was an excellent and welcome surprise to be able to purchase alcohol at a competitive price on the way home from the city
One of the most exquisite collection of wines and other alcoholic beverages. Ask the attendants for help if you want a particular taste, they will help you pick the right wine for the right occasions. You can be tempted by the varieties of Soju at the entrance, which can change your plans for the evening at times …
Horrible place. They were supposed to provide service for my brothers wedding and they didn't show up. My brother his father in law and groomsmen had to go purchase alcohol for the whole reception. And when my brother contacted them they gave him the runaround and said there is nothing they could do.
I think this might be the best bottle shop in the city. However that's also not saying much as most of the bottle shops in the city are terrible. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The selection of alcohol is far superior to anything else you would find in the city.
Josh and the team are the best! I bought 20 bottles of Makgulli but had an issue about expiry date. The manager Josh solved the problem immediately and I don't think I could expect anything better than that! Absolutely the best and most amazing experience from a bottle shop!
I really recommend this shop for liquor especially soju. The staff are super nice especially Rori (don’t know the exact name). He helped me a lot in my quest on buying soju. He even helped me on getting the boxes of soju to my bike. Thumbs up!!
Just bought a bottle of fancy wine and am very please with my purchase. The attendant was fantastic and helped me in the right direction as i know absolutely nothing about wine, very knowledgeable and helpful. Well worth the walk!!!
Very helpful in recommending red wine. Gave good advice based on my budget and preference. I picked a more expensive bottle and actually pointed me to a better value for money alternative. Will absolutely go back again.
6pack was missing 1 bottle and the cashier wasn't able to replace it. Said they would charge us a reduced price and I naively believed them. Checked my bank statement and they actually charged full price absolute dogs.
Go to bottle shop in the city. Has a great selection of rarer beers, whisky and gin that you can't find in Dan Murphys. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Can get quite busy on a Friday night after 5pm
Joshua, the store manager, was extremely helpful and knowledge about what I was looking for. An extensive range of Japanese products that I was not expecting. I will be a regular customer
The staff here are awesome and extremely helpful in choosing the right drink for the occasion. The store is abit small so the range isn't as extensive but nonetheless still a great place.
Staff are great, generous selection of soju and heaps of other drinks too. Also stocks soft drinks for mixed drinks in case you've run out or have forgotten to buy some from woolies.
I come here all the time, they have a great variety of soju and sake and also everything's a good price. stays open pretty late which is a plus, and the staff are always nice. :)
The staff here were brilliant. In my case they did not have the product I was seeking but they directed me elsewhere where I could. And they were very friendly. Will return.
Very good little bottle shop. They had the new Tassie Mumm sparkling wine that I was looking for. The range of wines and beers is good overall. The staff was very friendly.
Great experience. Very helpful staff that know what they are talking about. Only wish they supplied some stronger soju as they only stock the flavoured kind.
Nice shop but extremely poor selection of beer. I have it a two star rating just for the nice shop. If you’re really into beer avoid this shop...
Great selections of alcohol. Local and imports. Great stop for Japanese or Korean origin drinks. Plenty of local breweries represented too.
I bought Soju and red wine here. A bit expensive for Soju. But most of the stuff is normal price I think. They have many kinda drinks here.
Great customer service. Prices are a bit of hit and miss. Great collection of local and Asian alcohol. Highly recommended.
Ryan provided excellent customer service and helped me choose the perfect tequila for my friends birthday! Thanks Ryan :)
It's very big store and you are welcomed with warm smile from the counter and people working there.
Excellent shop for Korean and Japanese liquor. Always feel welcome here. Good customer service
Great selection, clean store, knowledgeable staff.
