I would not recommend based upon my experience. The first issue I had was the hostess wanted to seat my wife and I at a small table for two. When I asked to be seated at a booth for more room I was told that they had to "cycle" the tables so I couldn't have a booth. I said what about the empty table for four? She reluctantly said OK. We then waited ten minutes for a waitress to come by and tell us she would be back in a minute. Ten minutes later she came and took drink order. Another person brought my wife's draft beer but nothing for me. After a while the person came back with my beer. After another wait the waitress showed up and instead of taking our order insisted on talking our arms off about the weather and her kids/grandkids. When she finally finished and started to take our order half way thru she stopped to talk to people at another table. She had a hand held device for taking order which she obviously was not trained on. She kept having to stop and retry to enter the orders. Eventually she took our order and then we waited 20 minutes for our food. The order came and as I feared my order was wrong. So I waited for her to come back and when she didn't I tracked her down and told her my order was incorrect. She took it back and then as my wife ate and finished her meal my meal finally showed up. So then my wife waited as I finished my meal. The restaurant was not crowded so I was puzzled as to the slow service. While the waitress was a nice person she was way to talkative. The food was marginal and while they advertise "bottomless French fries" at the end of our meals the waitress grabbed our plates and never asked if we wanted any more fries or dessert. With all of the restaurants close by I wouldn't think of this place as a go to.

We walked in at about 8pm with 10 people. We understood that it might take longer since we were a large party. We were sat very fast and service was great at the beginning. However, after receiving our drinks, our server completely disappeared. She would only reappear once every 45 minutes and we were never offered a refill. To get a refill or any fries, we had to find a worker and request anything. The table next to us was also having the same experience. By this point it's about 9:30 and we still hadn't received our food, additionally, 3 of the ordered meals were salads and we didn't even receive those in a timely manner. The table next to us even resorted to getting up from the table, going to the server booth and getting their own utensils because no one had seen a server in about an hour. When we actually got our food, it was very good (except for the cold fries many members of the group received) but for everyone in our party to get their food, it took 2 and a half hours. We were attending the National FFA Convention and were looking for something quick near our hotel so we could go to sleep early that night, we didnt get back to our hotel which is next door till 10:45pm. Overall, the food was good but I'd never go back to the location because of the horrible customer service.

No wonder Red Robins are closing left and right. At least one in the Indy area has closed in the last few months (this one can't possibly be far behind) and they are frequently closing in other markets as well. Nobody at the host stand, nobody at the bar, nobody answering the phone. Not even servers on the floor. Waited 10 minutes, even called the restaurant twice while standing in the entrance area. A handful of customers scattered around and door was unlocked so they were definitely "open." 5:15 pm is before the evening rush so being a little slow is understandable but if you're open there should be at least 1 employee present in the building to help customers. I wanted to give you money but you apparently don't want it. If you're a business or hospitality student wanting to do a case study on businesses in their final days you might get some good stuff by stopping in to observe (I doubt they'll even notice you're there watching them) but if you want a meal save yourself the hassle and try elsewhere. Twin Peaks down the road greeted me and got me a table within 30 seconds of entering and there are numerous other restaurants within a half mile.

Then she disappeared and we had another server refill our drinks. We ordered and thats when it started to get bad we knew that having a large amount of people it would take longer but our food started coming out one by one after about an hour an a half. The last person in our party got their food about 2 and a half hours from when we sat down. (Making it after closing time) The table next to us was having the same experience. We watched one of their party members go and get silverware for their table. We had to constantly ask for more fries and drinks but hardly ever received what we had requested. When we got our food it was pretty good. We were then told that we would get a 10% discount but had to ask multiple times for them to make the changes on the bills. The food was good but I would neber go back due to the lack of customer service.

We went mid afternoon, around 2, hardly any customers. Waited at door nearly 5 min, was seated, waitress came, took drink orders, waited another 10- 15 minutes, came to take order, no drinks. Finally got drinks 5 min. later. Wish I would've had a timer for food. Took nearly another half an hour to get food. Zucchini fries were almost cold, so I ate them first. So much breading and hardly any zucchini. Since it is " bottomless" sides, and have to pay EXTRA for certain sides, we asked for a refill. Finished everything. Took plates ( grabbing cheese sauce for the fries refill), still waiting for refills. Never came. Had to ask for check, sitting for 20 minutes again. Then asked for drink refills, mentioning we never got our fries refilled. " Oh, yeah, sometimes the kitchen doesn't see the refill orders". No tip. Nearly $40 for 2 people. 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches. Was there nearly 2 hours. Ridiculous. Will NEVER be back. Do NOT recommend!

We stopped in late for dinner and it was very pleasant despite it being so close to closing. We were promptly greeted and provided a table in Shyanne’s section. Shyanne was great. She was very friendly and attentive. The food was also freshly prepared and the fries nice and hot. She brought us caramel sauce to try with our sweet potato fries…yum!!! She kept our drinks full and offered us bottomless fries. We did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy our dinner. Thank you Shyanne and the team!

This is my second time at this particular Red Robin and I will not be back. The first time I was ignored by my server, waited 45 minutes for food, and it arrived cold. This time I was also ignored; both for the 10 minutes I stood waiting for a host to notice me and at the table. My table was bussed when I went to the bathroom and I lost my drink, napkin, and silverware. I did not receive them again until halfway through the meal. The batter on the fish was unsalted and tasted like pancake, and raw to the point of being liquid in some places. I pointed this out to the server who responded with, "Oh. Well. This is the slot for your chip card." At which point she walked away never to return. I didn't actually want anything but an acknowledgment that raw batter is not great, but there was a complete lack of interest from the overworked server in a terminally understaffed restaurant.

Lack of customer service. Waited 25 minutes to even see our waitress. Drink order taken by the front seating person after 10 minutes with no interaction. Asked if we could order and told they don't take those orders. Finally seen waitress and she took order and never seen again. A food runner brought us refills on drinks and we couldn't find anybody to even refill our bottomless sides orders we had. Took 45 mins just to get our food finally after ordered and was just myself and my 2 kids. Nothing crazy about the orders. And I would give benefit of the doubt except people around us were getting their food in a far more timely manner than what we did. There was no checking to see how we were doing or how was the food or could they get us anything. Won't be back to this location. I am very understanding and try to give benefit of the doubt but this place was way beyond that.

I came here for my first time, and I’m 100% unsatisfied, as soon as we walked in we had to wait atleast 10-15 min until I finally got seated. Before we even get seated we look around and it’s sooo disgusted, unkept, trash on the ground, food on the tables, plates everywhere. We finally get seated and we had to wait an additional 10-15 min until our waitress showed up, she didn’t have a proper uniform, had her air pods in the whole entire time when we were interacting , she never came to check up on us. We had 3 different people come to check on us never our waitress. We finally get out food and it’s cold, food is bland and taste like the rubber on the bottom on my shoe. I don’t understand how this restaurant is opening, HR should really shut this store down, I don’t understand how it gots 4/5 stars. Don’t ever come here, I would recommend going to McDonald’s up the street.

Burger's were great. Prices were on the lower end for food this great. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back to try a different Burger! Staff were great and always checked on us for refills of fries/drinks and took care of us very well.

I know that restaurants are struggling to find good help these days and it shows! The hostess didn't acknowledge me when we walked in and she just walked right by me twice before she eventually grumbled, "How many?" and "This way." The server was great, which is why I don't give 1 star for service. She said everyone else called off or didn't show up for work (Sunday lunch), so I felt bad for her and could tell she was doing everything she could to keep up. The busser kept randomly interrupting the conversation at the table to insert a random joke or comment and then walk away, which was very off-putting. I haven't been to Red Robin in a while and do enjoy their burgers, but I doubt I'll ever be back.

Went for dinner. 13 total people in reataraunt (some tables with multiple people). 3 parties (of the 13) had to wait to even get seated. Was going to sit at bar but no staff was working the bar (a sign of things to come). Finally was sat. Had order taken rather quickly. Ordered a beer and a burger. Was told my beer would have to be bottle and not from tap- that's fine. Never saw waiter again. Finally received my burger and no napkins other than the 1 one that was wrapped around my silverware. Great burger joint. The whiskey BBQ burger was delicious. The fries were equally awesome dipped in the sweet heat sauce as well as the sweet and spicy ketchup too. The kids meals were great too. Lots of offerings with many drink options too. My little one was all about the orange cream drink. Couldn't get enough of it. Lol We will absolutely be going back!

I ordered takeout from the 8190 Shadeland ave location, neglected to check my bag before leaving. When I got home my 8yr old was missing his fries and mandarin oranges… normally I would have let it go but I live on the other side of town and had to go back out to get fries from another establishment. I called Red Robin to let them know about the mistake and they flat out called me a liar. I was so offended that I had to leave a review. Who would lie about a kids French grow and orange slices??? I wasn’t even going to drive all the way back there to get them just wanted an acknoweldgement/apology something… service is absolute trash

Maybe it was the day, but there were only two servers on Wednesday for the lunch hour rush. Ordered a salad, bottomless/endless fries and a soda. The food was great. Never got a chance to get a refill on the bottomless/endless fries or the soda due to how much time it took to get the food. Server had to go back and get the fries for me after reminding them I ordered them. Server never asked if we wanted a drink or fries to go for the inconveniences. Took about 10 minutes to get out checks for three people. I don't eat out much due to COVID-19 and this was a very disappointing experience.

My first visit to a Red Robin. It was a recommendation and thought I'd try it. I'm glad I did. I got a normal burger and fries. Loved them both. My kids got chicken bites (I think they were called) which was chicken breast strips and they loved them too. They were grilled and not chicken tenders which is what they expected but it worked out. I will go back. Bottomless fries was an added plus even though no one wanted more than what came on the plate.

Absolutely the worst experience at a Red Robin ever! Simple classic cheeseburger and onion rings and most of it was left on the plate. Onion rings were cold, limp and soggy and the cheeseburger was cold with the cheese only slightly melted. The manager standing out front done absolutely nothing about it. Not even so much as an apology when the waiter told her about it. Totally disappointed and have no intentions of coming back to this particular Red Robin. Add, when I went to pay the bill they had comped my food but still didn't offer replacement or an apology.

I ordered the fish and chips and they tasted like the fryer oil was dirty. The fries were undercooked and tasteless, and the coleslaw was terrible. I had the waitress deduct it from bill. Our waitress never came back to offer my wife a box for her food so we just left. Overall, it was disappointing given what we paid. A 22 ounce Stella cost $8.25!

Was disappointed with our visit. We came for dinner later in the evening and it was almost empty. Our server seemed to be taking care of all the tables (there was maybe 4 other families there). Stopped in to have dinner and we stood in the front entry for more than ten minutes with zero recognition of our presence. There were 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot and not very many tables being used at the time. One person went to the to-go area to pick up an order. was hungry with the family so we stopped in for dinner tonight.. i knew they were short staffed so waitin wasnt a big deal but after almost an hour our food came out.. first bite into my burger and i feel a snap.. there was a piece of a rubber glove in the cheese.. i was disgusted didnt eat my gf was grossed out and couldnt eat.the waitress even was disgusted. still made us pay for half her food and the kids. never been so disgusted trying to eat something ever..although apologetic i work in the industry and its unacceptable and to even charge us at all.. you lost a customer for life.

Red Robin has the unlimited sides which is really nice. However this red Robin brings out very small portions of the sides so you have to request more then wait 8-10 min for them to come out. Also our waitress kept disappearing so it was hard to get refills on drinks and the sides. I had a burger and it was good but a little light on toppings. I have ate at other red Robin's and they were not this way.

Well started with a stack of onion rings that were filled in the middle with powder which looked like uncooked batter yet they still served it to us. Me and my husband love Red Robin. Our favorite items are the mixed drinks, milkshakes, and garlic fries. But this time, when I ordered the Tycoon Burger, half of the ingredients were missing! Don't waste your time. Last time we ate a a Red Robin it was bad but this time was awful. You can tell the staff working are over it. Wait was long to be seated with many empty tables, waited 10 minutes to have our drink order taken then 20 minutes for those to come and have our food order taken. When the food finally came all the burgers were burnt. Waitress never came back to check on food or offer drink refills. Used to love Red Robin but will not bother again.

This is my first time doing this... But, look at this burger. It's supposed to have guacamole and bacon on it. I see a dab of guacamole but no bacon. I called the restaurant to speak with a manager and he just blames it on the kitchen. Really? Like I didn't know the kitchen made a mistake. His response is that the kitchen made a mistake. SMH.

Has seriously gone downhill. Hostess took forever to greet and seat waitress took twice as long to come ordered immediately and I got the royal red no flavor on the meat but a ton of pepper on the egg. Burger was burnt. No one came to check on us had to flag down hostess to find waitress (she didn't) so we can get something. This was in the afternoon and they kept us all on one side with no air. Do not recommend

Jacob was a wonderful and attentive server. The food is always amazing. I loved my crispy chicken sandwich with a fried egg on top. The garlic fries topped with their seasoning at the table tastes amazing. The Mountain High Mudd Pie was a sweet perfect ending.

The three of us were able to be seated quickly. We ordered and received our food quickly as well. Everything tasted amazing. If you're in the mood for an awesome burger and bottomless fries, you should definitely try this! I highly recommend it.

They do have gluten free buns, but I just do without.

The prices we're way too expensive for the food. We sat down for almost 20 minutes before we saw a waiter. The burger was terrible when we got it we paid 1.99 extra for onion rings we only got 5 small ones we won't go back 60 dollars for two burgers with one side. Never again!!!

Horrible service. It took over an hour to get burgers. The waiter made a mistake and took away my food twice before i could touch it. Food was cold when it arrived at the table, which means staff didn't bring it out when it was done. The restaurant was nearly dead.

I’m a Red Robin fan. I’m staying in the hotel next to this Red Robin and walked over to pick it up. The food was barely warm, the bun cold and tough, garlic fries just oily on the bottom and the burger was too salty. The restaurant closes at 10 pm and I did place my online order at 9 pm, maybe that’s why. Disappointed and surprised.

Because no one wants to work in America anymore, they only had one server so ended up sitting at the bar because the wait was going to be crazy long but ended up having an AWESOME time because the bartender (& I think manager) was AMAZING. Food was delicious, drinks were good. Had a nice time.

They always not busy at all. I had got the wrong food then my food came late after we waited 30 mins for ranch for appetizers by then they was cold! Then they bring the right food and my group was done with their food! I ask for a to go box waited 20 mins finally left the food will never go back here!

Sat there for 20 minutes no drinks and we just ordered sodas. Asked 3 people about our drinks and they never came back. Food came to the table before we ever got drinks. I got like 6 fries with my order. The plastic cups were broken and looked disgusting. Had to ask for to go boxes 3 times.

Food was amazing, service was great, atmosphere was quiet (it was the late lunch hour) and I appreciated the steps tsken for safety. Only thing I didn't like was the video console payment machine; of course my curious 5 year old started pushing buttons and it charged us to use it. They shouldn't be on the table when kids are present!

Waitress and manager were rude we asked to split up check and gave us one check and had to hunt down waitress to get a refill on our drinks not going to this one ever again rude is an over statement

Visit on Thursday 3/9/23and the fries were great. The service and the bacon cheese burger was not to the standards Red Robin first arrived in Indy. Very Disappointed. Also, it was hard to tell the staff from the customers. All dressed in street clothes.

My wife and I have been to this location over 10 times now. Every time, have we been in and out in around 30 minutes. Food comes right away and all the staff are nice and welcoming. I will always recommend this location.

We eat in, carry out and DoorDash this location. Love the onion ring tower and steak fries. Great food expected here, try anything. If you eat in and don’t like the noise of children, I suggest eating in the bar area. It’s a little better.

Had a great time with friends. Waitress listen to our group of 5 and remembered refills, etc. Would recommend. I had a restrictive diet and restaurant accommodated with no issues.

They have a variety of burgers with different styles like taco and whiskey barbeque. There is a good selection on the kids menu too; from mac n cheese to meatballs. Service was attentive and quick. They also have a bar.

Eliana was our waitress/ bartender and she was awesome. She had lots of tables and she was very attentive to all.

Fiery Ghost burger is awesome if you can handle it. Prime Chophouse is also pretty good.
