"It's a decent place"
"Redroom is amazing! The staff are so incredibly friendly and the service is beyond expectations"
"Could’ve had the fans turned up a little more as it was a very hot day and the beer could’ve been much colder; it was lukewarm from the tap"
"Cheapest wine in the area! 12 dollars for a half liter pichet of pretty decent house red"
"Service was friendly and prices are reasonable"
It's a decent place. It has a good vibe. I went with a couple of my colleagues and everyone ordered different stuff and everyone was happy with their order including me. It was tasty and the quantity was also good. The service is a little slow. But the prices are reasonable. A good place to hang out without spending too much.
Redroom is amazing! The staff are so incredibly friendly and the service is beyond expectations. I 100% recommend the Vietnamese Iced Coffee!!! Best one in town. Their food is also really good. So thankful to the kind staff for making such a warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere. More
Could’ve had the fans turned up a little more as it was a very hot day and the beer could’ve been much colder; it was lukewarm from the tap. But nonetheless the service was quick and the Chicken Pad Thai was delicious especially after a few cheap brews.
Cheapest wine in the area! 12 dollars for a half liter pichet of pretty decent house red. Great for predrinking before going to Kensington Market, which is just around the corner. Red Room has a great patio and the guys who run it have a good energy.
Service was friendly and prices are reasonable. All the food I've had here feels like it's missing a little something, but is decent bang for your buck. Last time I was there, someone came in off the street and was walking around and asking
The meat in my burger arrived uncooked and the food did not seem like a restaurant quality food. Red room burger (which I assumed it was their signature dish as it was named after the restaurant) was mid. The bun was those which was pulled
The first time my girlfriend and I had enjoyed drinks and ordered nachos, everything was great, service, food quality, drink strength. No complaints. we came back about 3 months later to be “cut-off” as soon as we sat down and could only
I can confidentially say I have never paid for worse food in my life. Ordered caesar salad (pretty hard to mess up) and it was a joke. It’s listed as romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesan cheese, cucumbers, and garlic bread. It came out as
red room is quite literally THE BAR its the ur-bar: a place where u can drink and eat food that is on par with something u might put together at home and just chill out!!! welcoming vibe that reminds me of the shared struggle of humanity
Typical college bar. Cheap food and drinks. Whoever owns this place got grandma dukes grinding. She does not know a lick of english and lowkey has alzheimers. They makin this poor lady grind till her bones give out.
Amazing casual spot for cheap food and even cheaper pints. It's not fancy food but you get what you pay for. I'm really happy supporting businesses that manage to remain affordable in downtown Toronto.
This is a college bar - cheap food and booze. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and the service is acceptable. If you want cheap go here. If you want anything more, go elsewhere. More
Very tasty food with a broad menu. The inside looks a bit out dated and like a old pub hence the 4 stars. Prices are reasonable for a meal out, plates and cutlery are very nice.
Cheap food, giant portions, comes out quick. I enjoyed my food but the rose sauce was a bit too tomatoey. Servers are great at refilling water, and mayo!
One of my favorite places to eat. I love their Pad Thai and a few other dishes! Best price for your money in my opinion. Would definitely recommend!
Food was meh. The chow Mein was too salty and crunchy. Sweet potato fries were soggy and the place was kind of dirty. Server was nice so four stars.
This used to be one of my favourite places to go. Really good prices and adorable food and drinks. Last time we went the service was terrible.
Good value for money, the drinks especially are priced very competitively. The food was decent, will visit again to try some more options More
Red Room and Green Room are classics what can I say… A great spot to go with a big group of friends when bar hopping More
Great spot overall. Kooky rustic interior and friendly staff but the music is always a coin toss
