RedHat helped me and my husband move out of state. Sergiu was extremely responsive from the moment we contacted him. He quoted us a fair price and a team of 3 to help us on the day of our move. On moving day, his team showed up on time and went straight to moving. They even brought an extra person to help with the move at no extra cost to us. The movers were quick and efficient, and took the time and care to take all of our furniture apart and wrap each individual piece. They worked tirelessly to load up all of our boxes and furniture. They even let us make a stop on the way to our new home to pick up more belongings from another site. As we arrived at the new property, the movers were quickly to unload all of our belongings into our new home. They efficiently put our furniture back together and put it where we asked. As an added bonus, one of the movers also works a professional TV installer and helped mount our TVs onto the wall! A couple of weeks after the move, we called Sergiu to see if his team could help us pack up the rest of our belongings from our old apartment and move them to our new home (we still hadn’t finished packing by our initial moving day- that’s how much stuff we had lol). He was quick to respond, and without hesitation, scheduled this service for a day later, quoting us a fair price and a team of 2. He was very responsive the day of our 2nd move, and kept us up to date on when his team would be arriving. A team of 3 arrived, again, at NO Extra Cost to us! Amazing!! They worked quickly and took care to wrap And pack almost all of our kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, and appliances. They also labeled all boxes so that it was clear what was in them. They then headed to our home and unloaded everything quickly, where we asked them to. If you’re in need of movers, do not hesitate to contact RedHat Moving! They are excellent and you will not be disappointed!

I’m a native New Yorker, which means I don’t trust anyone. Certainly not movers. I’d heard enough horror stories to be on my guard. Well, let me tell you - RedHat Moving has restored my faith in the moving business. From the moment I began speaking with Sergiu, it was obvious I was dealing with a professional. He was very pleasant on the phone, but never tried to “hard-sell” in any way. Sergiu simply and clearly laid out the pricing formula he used. In addition, thank goodness, he indicated that they offered a packing/boxing service. I wasn’t even aware there was such a service - and that was exactly what I needed! After asking for a general idea of how much stuff there was to pack up and move, Sergiu quoted a ballpark figure - making sure I understood that he could only determine the final cost once he was at the moving site (and could see the number of boxes/amount of time needed, etc). When I had questions, Sergiu answered them right away. When I unexpectedly had to change the moving date, he was understanding and accommodating. And the day before the move, he made sure to confirm with me. Moving day went like clockwork. True to his word, Sergiu and staff arrived right on time. Once there, they were incredibly thorough and careful with each item. As I watched the gentlemen smoothly wheel everything into my storage unit, I marveled at how neat and well-packed the boxes were. And there were no surprises when I paid the final bill. Sergiu made it a point to show me a full breakdown of the charges, which was 100% consistent with what he’d originally explained. I’m still amazed; not one of the problems I feared came to pass. On the contrary! Sergiu was highly skilled, kind, patient, responsible, efficient, and honest. Now that I’ve discovered RedHat Moving, I wouldn’t even think of calling anyone else. THANK YOU!

My girlfriend & I have used RedHat Moving 3 times now, including most recently yesterday. We were moving from Astoria to LIC (about 2 miles) and got quotes from all the big names in moving, and RedHat came in far and away under all other quotes. Not only were they the cheapest, they went above and beyond to ensure a painless process. We originally scheduled a 1:30pm start time, however our new building notified us the night before that we needed to be completely done unloading by 5pm, which would be near impossible. I messaged Sergiu and he assured me he could send the team as early as possible and would do whatever possible to ensure our move could conclude prior to 5pm or they would come back the next day to finish. This was super reassuring especially with it being the day before. Ultimately they showed up 2 hours early (at 11:30am vs. 1:30pm) and were able to get us fully loaded, moved, & unloaded at our new place by 4:30pm! An absolute amazing accomplishment. All the while the team took care of all of our belongings, including a very fragile OLED tv, with zero issues. We are now unpacking and trying to settle into our home & have already discussed when the next possible time is when we will be emailing RedHat for another move! Do not hesitate, book these guys, A+ team all the way around!

This review is long overdue, I feel so lucky to have found RedHat moving. Contacted them last minute and managed to schedule to schedule a move. Talk about amazing customer service, everything was planned to perfection and all questions answered so quickly. On the day of the move the team even arrived early, perfectly packaged everything beyond my expectations, and deliveredwithout a hitch. The move involved multiple pieces of extremely heavy, antique furniture (So heavy I was worried they would be able to lift everything), plus the drop off of a dining room table and chairs at a separate location along the way to the main destination! The RedHat team is so neat and thorough with packaging and organization, so helpful and kind, fair upfront pricing, I cannot begin to say enough good things about RedHat, we will 100% be using them again for our next move!... such service is unparalleled in Brooklyn for sure, Im still so happy everything went as perfectly as it did. The best! Had to reschedule moving last minute and I somehow found RedHat. I asked for a quote and they got back to me in less than 10 minutes. They answered all my questions, were communicative before they got to my place, and were so so nice. I couldn't believe how quickly they were moving and they took care of all of my stuff without a dent or a scratch. My two bedroom apartment was literally emptied in 15 minutes. It was 6 pm and they had already had a long day of moving out other apts but they moved so quickly, I was so impressed. They were also very thoughtful in trying not to go over the 2 hour time slot and finished in the nick of time so I didn't have to pay any extra. They generously helped move some of my roommates boxes from her truck into my apt, which they totally didn't have to do. Hopefully I won't be moving anytime soon, but if i do I will definitely return to RedHat.

Here is what we got at the end of the day: a competitive price; on time pick up; timely arrival at delivery destination; a careful, hard working crew; professional delivery. Amount quoted ended up being the final price, so add honesty to the pros of hiring Sergiu. With RedHat Moving there were no surprises! I highly recommend you call them next time you need something moved. BTW, what RedHat moved for us was a piano - very touchy and difficult, especially given the piano was located in a 5th floor walk up - the job was done marvelously well! Red Hat Moving did an AMAZING job moving our apartment! They arrived promptly on time and it felt like they were half way done removing everything about ten minutes into the move already! We had them take some furniture to storage and some to our new apartment which worked out smoothly. When we arrived at our new building the service elevator was not functioning properly, we contacted Sergiu who was so helpful and accommodating when making a new plan, however by the time all was said and done, the elevator was up and running again and we were able to sucessfully move into our new apartment! Would definitely recommend Red Hat Moving to anyone!! They were professional, quick, and organized!

Redhat is made up of the most professional, efficient, and careful movers I've ever seen. They helped me through 2 moves, and even returned the day after moving me in to retrieve a mattress I changed my mind about. In my first move, they dissembled a loft bed with no instructions in a matter of minutes (it took me hours to assemble, with instructions). In the 2nd move, they dissembled a couch to fit through a narrow door and once it was back together I couldn't tell they had ever touched it. These guys are so friendly and respond to communications very quickly. A real gem for anyone moving in NYC. Huge thank you to the team-- I'll be calling again for my next move!

AMZING !! They arrived on time. Worked from 9am-1pm without a Break. I even offered to get them lunch but they said they wanted to finish the job. They did not rush with Anything my hallways were extremely narrow but they made sure not to scratch any walls. The furniture was all disassembled, neatly wrapped and then re-assembled. I will definitely be recommending them to my family and friends. I found them on yelp but when I googled the company they had hundreds of great reviews on other websites.

By far the best moving company I’ve ever used. We had a rockstar crew who completed our Brooklyn move in 3 hours. They were super gentle with our items (not a single thing broken) and took the time to securely wrap fragile pieces. Best of all, they disassembled and reassembled several pieces of furniture for us! Super reasonable prices as well. I definitely plan to use Red Hat for any future moves and will be recommending them to all my friends. 10/10!
