Very historical building and kept cleaned. The only problem is the emptiness in the rooms upstairs make it hard to hear people so you have to shout to hear and when you open the windows for some fresh air the noise from traffic and council trucks cleaning the street make it worse. The other problem is downstairs is run by Legal Aid or some Law Firm and they think they own the building as they lock you out if you want to use upstairs so be warned if you want to have a function or meetings,as the building has good points and bad points going for itself but it is worth a sticky beck.Over all nice building but in the wrong street.Redfern is been transformed into a extension of the city with high riser buildings cafes and so close to the city so in years to come it may lose it’s identity and past history for the $$$$ That’s progress or that’s the council for you.

On Saturday, I came to help with the federal election! It was inspiring to see so many people coming out to vote, patiently waiting in long lines in the rain and cold to help determine the future of our country. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. Your cheerful demeanour contributed significantly to the day's success. It was wonderful to see so many of my neighbours, some of whom I had never met. It had been an incredible experience. The Town Hall is also a great historical structure. The structure is beautiful, with high ceilings and excellent furnishings.

I was here for the Sunday Assembly - looks like a large house from the outside, but has amazing interiors - a large hall on the top floor, it's all mahogany ~

The hall is on the first floor in this colonial era building. There's a steep staircase but a lift has been installed. The hall can seat about 300.

Gorgeous old building with high ceilings. Front upstairs room I did a dance class and pretty view of trees from windows and can hear bird song.

This is a super nice place for kids to take vaccination. The people here are super friendly.
