This place should be shut down as a public service. Nic is simply incredible. Walk into his store and mention that you are looking for an xyz… A few weeks later, you get a call or msg. “Hey bud… I just landed an xyz and you mentioned that you wanted one”. If you need something, they find it. If you ask for a hard to find whatever it is Nic will spend the time and effort to find where he can source it. I hardly buy anywhere else, simply because Nic makes sure my addiction is met.

The remote service and quality has been excellent since we don't stay in Gauteng. The orders arrive the next day and we have never received any live fish/inverts or corals in bad condition, they are all just thriving in our tanks! I would highly recommend them! Their prices are also very good compared to what we have experienced other shops charge.

Visited Reef critters this week and had an amazing experience as i am new to the hobby and didnt know much i was surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff were especially Monique who is very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and i have learnt so much by just 1 visit

What an awesome place, they are extremely knowledgeable about Marine tanks and so willing to share their knowledge, so ethical, not willing to sell anything unless they are 100% sure of its readiness for sale, would really recommend Reef Critters, truly inspiring

By far the best marine fish store in Gauteng, extremely helpful and always willing to help out. Both their fish and coral collection is out of this world. Do yourself a favour and go visit them.

Got a pincushion leather and a red monti. Excellent quality frags at really good prices. Shop is a bit out of the way but delivers nationally. Highly recommend!
