Great Dentist, great office! I have a story. Dr. Mehta saved my sanity & my jaw. He was recommended by an excellent Physiotherapsit from Winsport, Lisa. I was seeing her for jaw relief as a result of a dental procedure that had lasted too long. I have jaw issues that my previous Dentist did not know how to acknowledge & treat. If my jaw is open for too long it locks and the muscles go into spasm which can last for months. It is soooo painful! Dr. Mehta listened, asked good questions and understood what I was talking about. He said that the issue was in the jaw alignment, not the teeth alignment. If we align the jaw, the teeth will naturally align. He set about relaxing the jaw, then physically manipulating the jaw (by applying a lot of pressure to my face). He said we were going to reprogram the jaw as it no longer knew where home base was. After the first visit, I had 60% relief. The next visit, he spent hours making me a temporary splint to help with the realignment. We then took molds for a new permanent splint that would keep my jaw in the proper position. The temporary splint took me the last 40% until I received the permanent appliance. I had no more pain! Two years later I have my splint which I wear every night, no facial pain & a new Dentist who listens. Dr. Mehta looks at the whole face, the jaw, the teeth. Everything. He looks for the cause & then the right solution for You. His focus is bigger than just the teeth. My husband & I now go to Reflections Dental Group for all our dental needs. Peter even had his first crown, done by Dr. Mehta & said the needles hardly hurt! We have had excellent experiences here & are confident that we will continue to receive the best treatment & care from Dr. Mehta & his staff. Yay Dr. Mehta, thank you!

My life turned upside down with TMJ issues! It started with teeth sensitivity and mild jaw pain and quickly escalated to severe jaw/ear/neck/shoulder/chest pain within two weeks. The pain was so intense and constant that it was difficult for me to focus on anything, while I need actively manage a full-time job, school, and a toddler - imagine! I've even called 911 and they cleared me of cardiac issues pointing that this could be TMJ. I've discussed it with my dentist at that time and was told that root canal will fix my issue so I went with that. I didn't get any relief and was feeling helpless with TMJ stuff even after getting a second opinion from another dentist. I had literally lived on pain killers everyday for two full months but still couldn't handle the pain, and have had daily migraine headaches. That's when I was referred to Dr.Mehta by a good friend. Dr.Mehta patiently listened to my history, diagnosed what exactly was wrong with my jaw, and came up with a treatment plan. I've seen a noticeable improvement from the first day itself, and its been about 10 days into the treatment now, and my life is almost back to normal. I would definitely recommend Dr.Mehta to anyone suffering from TMJ issues - there is miracle in his treatment! His staff Lona and Michelle are amazing and make you very comfortable. They make a great team!!

I've had TMJ issues for years and was always met with responses like "everyone has jaw issues", "it's just stress", and "there's no fix/cure for that". Between doctors, general dentists and periodontists, I've had no one even attempt to find out the root cause of my TMJ issues. Instead I've paid thousands of dollars on band-aid solutions like sleep aid splints and Botox. Dr. Mehta on the other hand, is the first dentist to find out what was actually happening with my jaw through the appropriate x-rays and come up with a treatment plan to suit my situation. My symptoms have significantly decreased, I no longer have daily headaches, and my pain is now at a lower level. I'm still on my treatment journey but I would highly recommend Dr. Mehta. He and his team are the nicest group of people. They really take the time to make sure I understand what's going on and listen to what I have to say and what matters to my health. The office is also very sanitary and they are careful to not be dealing with multiple patients at the same time.

It is an absolute pleasure having Dr. Mehta and team taking care of my teeth. Going to the dentist can be stressful, but at Reflections I find the experience always positive. My dental hygienist cleans my teeth with minimal discomfort (if there is any at all) and is welcome to discussion on how I can best take care of my teeth. During my dental procedures, the dental assistant is cheerful and constantly ensuring that I am comfortable and aware of what the next step will be. Dr. Mehta thoroughly explains every procedure and welcomes any questions that I have. My options are presented to me regarding the immediate concerns needing to be addressed regarding my dental care and the 'down-the-road' things he will be monitoring. I was referred to Dr. Mehta with a locked jaw, necessitating an arthroscopic TMJ surgery and subsequent dental treatment. I don’t think I could have landed in more competent hands if I tried. Dr Mehta has gone above and beyond to support me through every step of the way. From assessment, to treatment planning, splint therapy, and frankly, emotional support (!!), he and the Reflections team have provided me with the most attuned and meticulous care. Dr. Mehta spends a generous amount of time each visit carefully providing treatment with precision and expertise. His depth and breadth of knowledge about my dental concerns is unparalleled, and his level of care unmatched. Further, he prioritizes working collaboratively with other professionals (surgeon, physio) to provide wraparound, holistic care, always with a splash of levity to make you feel at ease. It is rare to stumble upon a professional as skilled as they are compassionate, and Dr. Mehta and his team have both in spades.

My appointments with Dr Mehta have been the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. He has a fantastic team, Michelle & Lona (who is the most friendly receptionist). The staff genuinely cares about you. Dr Mehta spends time with you & addresses other issues than just teeth, such as making sure your jaw is aligned after previously having braces.. I never knew I had this issue as my previous dentist never looked into it. Dr Mehta has a fantastic bedside manner. Throughout my fillings he frequently asked if I was doing okay. Not to mention, I had phoned on a Monday as I was experiencing some pain from TMJ but didn’t realize they were closed. Dr Mehta happened to go into the office that day for paperwork & listened to my voicemail. He phoned me back & booked me an appointment while giving me his mobile phone number incase the pain got worse. I highly recommend switching your dentist to him.

I left my dental care in Dr.Mehta and his team's hands. I've noticed in the past year and a half that there has been numerous improvements to patient chair comfort, camera diagnostics and administration of anethestics. Along with those advances him and his team are very well trained and are the most friendly ppl. Eventually I have referred my mother and she usually has a hard time being comfortable and trusting of dental offices. Her dental problems were larger left unchecked but Dr.Mehta and team quickly got her results and she has become an example of someone that really benefited from the their professionalism and the new technologies that specifically save the patient more discomfort while on the chair. I would refer this office to anyone that looks for genuine care and professional set of dental skills, along with an comfortable environment.

I have been to several dental offices over the years, and have never been overly impressed in any way. Perfunctory greetings, and feeling like I had a predetermined amount of time to be dealt with by the office. Often seemed it was rushed and the details & implications, let alone the work were never really explained. Well that does not happen here! Have been in a few times now to allow context, and i have never been so impressed! From the moment you enter & greeted warmly by Shelby to the entire experience its really opened my eyes to what dentistry should be - what it used to be when I was a child but never had since. Dr Mehta & staff are friendly, thorough and with consistent concern for your experience. Details are explained and you never feel rushed. I have been a patient at this clinic for almost 6 years. Dr. Mehta and his team are some of the most professional and courteous health care providers I have come across and it is a delight having them look after my dental health. It is rare enough to be treated as a human being in a health care setting, but I actually feel welcomed as a friend on my visits. Warm atmosphere amongst the staff and always a great parting conversation with Dr. Mehta and his team. The hygiene staff have been all very experienced and thorough. Dr. Mehta has performed a number of procedures with a high degree of precision and care, and referred me to a great surgeon when required on one occasion. I have never experienced pain or needed to return for repeat procedures. I genuinely look forward to my next appointment. Highly recommended.

Dr. Mehta and the staff feel like family. They always go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and looked after. This past summer I was fitted with a split to help with my grinding and clenching while I sleep. Through the process the staff answered all my questions (some rather silly), and made sure I got the best out of my splint. I have suffered for years with headaches in the morning due to my nighttime clenching and grinding. This splint seems to have been the right solution, as my morning headaches are few and far between. A few months in I noticed a rough patch on the split which was causing some discomfort. I called the office and they made sure I got in that week to have the splint fixed. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I really appreciate the approach that Dr. Mehta takes with his practice. From the greeting when you walk in, very welcoming and professional, to your time with Dr. Mehta. He asks questions then he listens and then he develops a process to help you take care of your whole mouth and jaw, not just your teeth. He takes the time to explain the background of the process and how it will benefit you long term. He uses great examples from real life and dental models he keeps handy to help explain the details. Also, if you do not like needles, much like myself, you will be happy to know that I found him to be the most skilled at delivering the needles with the least amount of pain and anxiety. I value his skill at this tremendously.

I have been coming here for the past 3 years. From the moment you walk in, the staff are always smiling and welcome you. Dr. Metha is nothing short of exceptional. His intent is to make sure you are looked after and gives nothing but honest advice. I had problems with my previous dentist where I had to go 4 times for the same problem. I came to Reflections, they did the X-ray and immediately fixed my issue and the problem was resolved. Ever since then this is the only place I will come. They do direct billing, and are more than fair with the prices. I would rate Dr.Metha one of the top dentists in the city. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. This is one of the small business you support during this time.

Dr. Mehta and his entire team at Reflections Dental are absolutely incredible. As someone who has a huge fear of needles, I avoided going to the dentist for a lot of years, and Dr. Mehta was recommended to me by my partner. He prioritizes comfort above all else, and everyone in the business actually cares about you and remembers what is going on in your life or what you're doing, so there is never an awkward moment when you're talking with them. It doesn't feel like 'just another trip to the dentist' as they say. I actually love coming and would recommend him and his lovely staff (Lona, Michelle, you guys get a shoutout!) to anyone.

I came into this office as a temporary dental assistant as the main assistant had to have personal leave. I was welcomed into this office as soon as I walked into the door. They were so helpful and friendly. Dr Mehta keeps himself up to date on all the latest procedures, fully explains every detail before starting. I was amazed at the knowledge he goves his patients. This clinic is definitely about the patients and their experience before anything. I would definitely come back to temp here and go there for any dental I needed. Best experience I have ever had at the dentist! For years I have struggled with fear of the 'zinger- type' pain I have experienced during dental visits. This caused me a lot of stress and anxiety leading up to my appointments. Dr. Mehta and the hygienist, Jen, took the time to work with me to apply a numbing gel during my cleaning to provide me with a pain free cleaning. This was a life-changing experience for me and I am so grateful for their effort to provide such supportive and effective care to me during my visits there! I highly recommend this team for an incredible dentist experience!

A very welcoming and warm place. I hadn’t been to see a dentist for a long time. On the recommendation of my mother she suggested that I go see Dr. Mehta. Dr. Mehta’s practice is not your average or typical dentist. It’s 2 chairs- one for Dr. Mehta and one for his hygienist. Kim the hygienist was amazingly gentle and non judgemental as I needed a lot of scaling. The technology at Dr. Mehta’s practice is state of the art. After years of either not going to a dentist or dreading when I had to go I will happily come back to see Dr. Mehta and his team.

My girls and I have been seeing Dr. Mehta for seven years. I followed him from my last clinic because he is that good. He really is. Not only is he progressive and extremely well versed on current dental/ joint management- but he works hard to ensure all of his clients are comfortable and aware of all aspects of their treatment. His staff are knowledgeable, professional, and to be honest.. good fun! My girls get excited to see him and often ask to visit because he is literally down the road. The most caring dentist and team I have ever had. Everyone is very supportive and they provide excellent service and care. Dr Mehta has helped me with my dental care for many years and is always there for his patients . If you need him he's there for you , day and night . His clinic makes going to the dentist "not bad at all " and saying that is a big deal because I "dont like the dentist " ..... But I like Dr Mehta !!!!! I recommend you see him !!!! Dr Mehta and his staff were very friendly and professional. They were great to deal with and very honest and up front about my needs. Dr Mehta sent me to see a sleep specialist after discussing mine and my family health history. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and now on a machine maintaining it. I've been seeing Dr. Mehta and his team for a few years now. The atmosphere of the clinic is very relaxing and comfortable. The hygienists are extremely gentle and there's no shaming or negativity. I've also been having my TMJ issues treated and have had a lot of improvement over the last two years. It's a slow process but I feel less pain, clicking, and popping than I used to. Dr. Mehta really understands the mechanism and issues and it shows in how he approaches treating the issues.

Superb service. Very professional and kind staff. The hygienists are wonderful especially with children. Dr. Mehta is very thorough and an excellent physician. Incredibly knowledgeable. We have had everything done from regular cleanings, cavity fillings, tooth extractions…. Every appointment is on time and done with great care and patience. We always feel comfortable and in excellent hands when we go in. There is no one I would recommend more than Dental Reflections Group.

We've traveled the world and have seen great and crazy doctors and dentists along the way. We found Dr Mehta after arriving in Calgary 5 yrs ago and I'm happy to report that he's one of the best. No hesitation recommending Dr. Mehta. I’ve been a regular patient with him for a few years and have found the care and treatment I get from him and the staff to be excellent and consistent. Great place with great people. Dr. Mehta and his staff are friendly, wonderful with kids and promote a very open and inviting atmosphere. They are as close to 'painless' as a dental practice can be. Overhead large screens have programs or relaxing slide shows, depending on your preference. It's also the only dental clinic where I have been offered a fresh brewed Cappucino!

Had both upper wisdom teeth removed. Previously, I had some breathing obstruction (sinus/nose) and infrequent jaw tightness/pain on right side. That all went away after the removal. Dr. took his time and did the removal very carefully - recovery was only about 4 days! My dad was surprised that there was practically zero bleeding after I got home.

It's nice to go to a dental office that is customized to you. From the initial greeting at the friendly reception to the tailored service (they even remember what kind of coffee you like!), this place makes you feel very welcome. Not to mention, Dr. Mehta is a wizard in his craft - precise, careful, quality-focused, and most of all compassionate.

Dr. Mehta came to my rescue in an emergency situation when my temporary crown popped out on a Friday evening. On his day off, he was able to see me first thing Saturday morning.
