I went into the emergency department already, knowing that I was going to be admitted because of the myriad medical problems that I have. The doctors were excellent caring and treating me well, however, the nursing staff was overworked and spread way too thin on a very busy weekend night. I was short changed in nursing care because I wasn’t screaming bleeding or dying, and, over six hours after knowing I was being admitted, I became so frustrated with how I was (not) treated during the excruciatingly long admission process, that I was at my wit’s end. I had been without any of my regular medication’s for over 13 hours, and had asked several times if the emergency department doctor could please prescribe some of them, or I could just be discharged, and I could go home and take the meds and come back to be admitted at which point a nurse began screaming “she’s not cooperating, she’s not cooperating, SHE’S NOT COOPERATNG!” And she was, right I wasn’t cooperating, no longer being willing to do without the Morphine that I relied upon for my pain, or the muscle relaxer is required for the constant spasm in my back to this something called Arachnoiditis, and a couple of other important medication’s that they probably would not have all of on their formulary, but could be brought from home if somebody would tell me what I needed my housemate to bring them, it was more than difficult. Moreover, I wasn’t getting into a bed upstairs, Nor had the hospitalist, who upon admission hast to go over all the medications I’m on for that doctor to know what he or she was going to beordering for me once I got upstairs,. I have been hospitalized way too many times and I’m too familiar with the routine and how it goes being admitted, so when I was at the point of being in tears, because no one was responding to my request for any medications considering that it has been over 13 hours since I stepped foot in there, not since I took my medications last (which had been several hours before that), at the point of the nurse, literally screaming about me not cooperating because I asked her if I could talk to the doctor in the emergency department about getting some of my medication since it was taking so long to that I just became fed up, and with my IV still in my arm, left Regional Medical Center and went to O’Connor Hospital, where I received fantastic treatment for the week I was in there

First 10 days good, last 9 days extremely poor. In heart unit, wife's cell phone on side table from Monday & night up till Friday evening. Phone disappears between 10pm Fri. night until Sat morning when she couldn't find it 8:30am. The garbage, laundry had not been removed yet. Two separate nurses emptied both completely in the floor, no luck. Why would a nurse, or assistant take an old phone! Asked for info who was in her room that time frame. No answer? The wonderful charge nurse Courtney said she put in a report. Otherwise Poor communication, & professionalism, & problems between shifts. Lousy assistance when needing bathroom assistance, needing blankets, water, etc Was better & noticable first 10/12 days. Nurse that should quit her job due to there only for the money $, tired of dealing with patients!!! 3pm Sat. afternoon two days ago Armi came in with fellow good nurse Cass. Had an immediate attitude. Later after, directly told by earlier nurse twice, & by Cass that pain med would be provided per doctors order every 6 hrs for her pain. Needed whether a nurse thought yes, or no due to her medical, & long term chronic pain. When my wife called saying that they weren't going to provide some vasic pain relief as told multiple times, I called the heart unit to ask for her nurse. Armi answered grumpy & said it's per our way whether she needs it! Next day I noticed bruises on her inner elbow region. She said the RN Armi came in stating harshly why are you such a winer!! Then took her blood pressure way to nasty in a way that first placed the cuff well down past her elbow crease. Medical competence is 1 inch above the elbow crease. Also it must never be tight, two fingers should be able to be inserted in upper area of cuff when rapped around upper arm. Shouldn't be a nurse due to no empathy, compassion, or the true reason to be in the medical field Armi aggressively.wrapped the blood pressure cuff in an area to cause additional pain, was rough with her, & mean. Many family members are in the.medical field, including Dad, & Mom International renowned, Multiple others in Fire Dept. & EMT. They are very worried & asking for names, info, etc. I will be directly speaking professionally to the unit's Mgr, Director, Head of HR, _ the medical director of Regional Hospital. Doctor(s) released her too early twice! She wasn't ready, dang it!

Today I want to share my experience at Regional Medical Center. It has been years since my mom passed away, but it's heartbroken every time I think about it. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was told to have a couple of months to live. She was admitted to ICU at Regional Medical Center due to sepsis. Then she got better and was transferred out of ICU to the floor. A couple of days later she was re-transferred back to ICU. After discussion with doctor, we made her DNR. She stayed in a room on one of the floor and passed away the next morning. We called Oakhill people to come pick up her body and were told they were on the way. We also communicated with the nurse who was taking care of her. Then the director came yelling at us: I want the body to be taken out of here to the morgue. I told her that Oakhill people are on the way, and your hospital staff are still cleaning up her body. If after cleaning is done and Oakhill people are not here yet, her body can be taken down to the hospital morgue. That director continued to be so rude. She yelled and harassed us every five minutes. We were still grieving. I wanted my mom to die in peace, and the moment after death was very important to us in term of our religious belief. I gave hospital staff my mom clothes, but they refused to wear them for her. They let her be naked in the bag (due to hospital policy - I was told). Not even at least a fabric or a bed sheet to cover her body. I knew my mom wouldn't want to die and be naked like that. I stood outside of the room and cried and prayed. Finally, Oakhill people came and took over. They wore clothes for my mom and treated her and my family with dignity. My dad and siblings still talk about how badly we were treated at the hospital. I talked to another person whose mom also passed away at Regional, and she told me she had a similar experience. Patients and family members deserve to be treated with dignity and humanity...

Avoid this hospital to the best of your ability. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in the US healthcare system and that's saying something. Many times throughout the 1 week I was here, I'm pretty sure the stress from my quality of care here was doing more damage to me than my disease itself. In particular, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Satya Toram. He was consistently condescending and dismissive, and also constantly made statements about my condition without actually reviewing my blood test results. He would backpedal quickly after I questioned him noting that his statements weren't supported by the lab reports; I was having to be my own doctor. Not only that, but while I was under his care, I had 2 separate instances of improper treatment: Incorrrect IV fluid rate (30x less than what I was supposed to be receiving) and they cancelled my lab report for no apparent reason, leading to them having to take an extra blood draw purely due to their own incompetence. I filed a formal complaint against this hospital and was told I would receive a follow-up call from their risk management department. Unsurprisingly, I have not received any sort of follow-up at all. I imagine they want to sweep this under the rug. EDIT FOR UPDATE: This hospital continues to be the worst possible hospital on this planet. After countless calls with the risk management department and me having to voice my concerns numerous times, I received a pittance of a letter in my mail saying "we recognized we may have failed in communication". That's it. No discount to my $50K medical bill to account for the piss poor quality of care I received, absolutely zero repercussions for any of the medical care providers (esp. Dr. Toram). I intend on appealing my bill through my insurance provider as this is particularly egregious.

1) websites stated 10 Minute wait. Turned out to be several hours. 2) Dr. Assured me they were just wait for bed. Simply for reassuring me decreased anxiety and I no longer wanted to leave against AMA. Appreciated the MD for coming out to talk to me. 3) once inside the ER was given pain meds. 4) fractured ribs 6 thru 10. 5) had 2 amazement nurses while in the ER. Felt heard, taken care of and pain somewhat controlled. I can’t remember the nurses names however give them a 10/10. 6) trauma MD came in to see me and admitted me to ICU for night. Somehow I remember her name DR Jiminez, appreciated her care and explained of injuries. Felt bad could remember all of medical injuries from past which is extensive list. 7) again had amazing care and appreciated the staff. Unfortunately the only names I can remember is Sangwn. 8) was told a Dr Lee was going to see me so when MD came in I called MD DR. Lee.needless to say the MD had to say I’m not Dr Lee so I apologize for calling her wrong name. 8) had 10/10 OT and PT visits. Both gave suggestions and cleared me to go home. Overall the only reason I’m not giving regional a 10/10 was the wait to get seen. Thank You to the staff that treated me. Felt I received great care. Am up to 2500 with the spirometer. Throughout the years I have had good/bad visits. I think it’s important to share positive experiences. My nephew is an ER trauma nurse he tells me his experiences. So in closure thank you so much for the care I received. I truly appreciate how well I was treated including x Ray and CT staff. Ribs are coming along and other issues being addressed at VA. Unfortunately we had a mix of good and not so good care at this facility. The surgeons and a couple of nurses were great, but several nurses/care givers under performed and left my son with inferior care adding to his pain and suffering during his time there. In his room, the call button did not work so no nurse would hear his pain throughout the evening and he tried to ring his call button on multiple evenings, but it was never working. For 3 consecutive nights he was in a room that did not have a working call button for his bed, but rather than move him, they left him the broken call button. He did not have any assistance to use the restroom when he could not use it on his own. They gave him a small metal bell instead and told him to ring it but then they NEVER responded to it. Several nurses were smug and left us feeling like it just wasn't their problem. I would never recommend anyone stay at this hospital based on our experiences there. I would recommend they transfer to another facility that focuses more on ensuring proper care is delivered to their patients. There were definitely some shining examples or outstanding caregivers like the surgeons, some of the nurses and PT staff like Mikee, Adam and Mathew were all wonderful. Other nurses like Yvette and Thuy fell very very short of providing the care you would hope for when someone is attending to your family member after a tragic accident. It is unfortunate but it is the truth and based on those poor experiences, I would never recommend Regional Medical Center and would hope this facility does more to properly train and equip their staff and rooms.

A majority of the medical staff here was extremely helpful and empathetic, however, be wary of the few outliers that are there just to have a job and do not really care about the well-being of their patients. I know I do not have the experience dealing with numerous patients (potentially numerous difficult patients), but I believe that you should understand what you signed up for working in this field and regardless of the patient each and every one should be treated with care. My mother was admitted at this hospital not so long ago and she had horror stories of overnight nurses neglecting her requests to use the restroom and when she was noticed and granted this request, the nurses that were helping her had yanked her arm causing her IV needle to tear her skin around the punctured site and caused her to bleed. They also neglected her request for a walking aid to the restroom as they deemed her fit to walk on her own, however, she was not. Fortunately, the restroom was not too far from the room she was in, but if it was and she had happened to fall on her trip there it would have caused even more unnecessary injury that could have been prevented. Again, these experience were outliers, but please if you are going to work in this field at least be kind to your patients and handle them with care. I know they can be difficult at times, but you signed up to be a nurse to HELP people I assume. If it was a monetary motive, I’d honestly suggest you quit and do some soul searching. On the other hand, a sincere thank you to all that provided care to my mother.

This hospital needs to improve the triage and waiting process for patients. There is no reason a patient who complained of chest pains should wait 5-6 hours to be seen by a doctor in a cold and uncomfortable waiting room during omicron spike, especially if that patient is a senior citizen. My mom would probably be more comfortable waiting at home than at the hospital. She ended up feeling more pain by the time she finally was seen by a doctor than when she came in. The waiting room was packed and no one enforced the safe distancing. When it was recommended that my mom would be admitted we waited for about an hour for a temporary bed. Then we had to wait another 5-6 hours to finally get a room. I feel for the staff as many of the staff I interacted with were kind and friendly however either they're overworked or have come to accept the hospital's mediocre standard of care that they are not as helpful or attentive. I get a sense they feel just as helpless as the patients. For this reason I couldn't even get mad at them even when I felt like they could have done more for my mom. I'm grateful for the men and women who work in the medical field, and for the staff that worked that day, but the fact of the matter is we did not receive timely and considerate care. We've been coming to this hospital for the last 7 plus years due to my mom's health and it's sad to see that the process is the same and hasn't improved. Our family goes here because it's close to our home but in the future we will not.

The visit was poor. My 88 year old mom fell down and hit her head. My adult daughter took her to the ED for CT scan & blood work. When they admitted her they scanned her Real ID and combined her middle & last names. When I called to check on her (I live 440 miles away) they said they did not have her admitted. They were wrong she was sitting right in front of them with my daughter. They let her sit there for over 4 hours because they didn't have a bed. Hey I get they are busy but they couldn't take 5 minutes to tell her the CT scan was clear no skull fracture or internal hemorrhaging? At 2 am both my mom & daughters were exhausted so I told them to go home. RMC never called me with the test results even though I'm the emergency contact. I had to call the doctor at 6 am to get her test results. Bottom line they can't seem to find 5 minutes for a conversation. They can't get the basics right like entering her legal name into the system properly. How would they contact me if the can't even do the basics like enter a name. Poor job on several levels. When I escalated the problem to a supervisor he just chuckled at on on the phone like gee too bad we don't have a bed. Unacceptable.

My dad was admitted into the ER for internal bleeding. We had a different nurse at the time but when I needed help with my dad, I found Lisa and she was genuinely helpful and kind. I was so shaken up with the whole ideal, that her comforting words and demeanor felt like we were in good hands. I never felt like I was bothering her every time my dad needed to use the commode, and she never made us feel a nuisance for asking for help. We felt welcomed and respected there in the ER, something we never felt much of at O'Conner Hospital. We were so grateful for her help and professionalism that I wanted to make sure her time and effort was known. Please thank her for her help and most importantly, her smile and kindness during such a frightful and uncertain time with my dad's condition. She made a difference for us during the entire time my dad was there. I can't thank her enough for making him and myself have faith that everything would be ok. Her presence was golden for us. Thank you for having someone such as her on your ER team.

My husband (patient) and I were very pleased with the nursing care, PT and OT service, Housekeeping and Dietary staff at Regional. Everyone was professional, caring and friendly. We really appreciated getting his medication for Parkinson's Disease on time. We were less pleased with the attending doctor assigned to care for him. We rarely saw him and he never did any hands on examination. We insisted on talking to him prior to Richard's discharge and the information he gave us verbally did not match with the printed discharge instructions. We were ask if we wanted home care and we said yes and that we would like to have Harmony Home Care who had seen Richard in the past. Nothing was mentioned about the in home care in the discharge instructions and we were never contacted by any home health company. No one mentioned that Richard's Hemoglobin was low or gave us instructions on safety when dealing with low Hgb and Hct. Knowledge of that low level would have helped us be even more careful with his home care.

I came in today at 10 o'clock in the morning. Because I've been experiencing severe numbness in my hands and pain in my arms and because I told them I had multiple sclerosis. They wanted to talk to my neurologist so she got ahold of my neurology. And after I waited 3 hours, I asked him what's taking so long. How much longer do I have to wait? Then they want to try to run more test blood work. X-ray things like that that take longer. And when I told The doctor that I was not going to wait any longer. Because I had to pick up my children. She got a attitude walked in the back and I told her. I need a note, and he noticed hes me from work. And she comes and throws the paper back at me. Super unprofessional every single person. That was in the waiting room when I got. There was gone and there was only 3 other people in the waiting room. I don't understand what was taking so long from my case.

From the moment I confirmed my first initial appointment until the day after surgery I experienced frustration with the administrative side of this process. It seemed like departments weren’t sharing information. I had to communicate 5 different times with various hospital staff right up to surgery day to confirm they had received my pre-op medical records from my primary Dr in Salinas. They even had the wrong knee documented to receive the procedure at time of registration checkin. Once on site for all visits, there was no clear direction for how to find the proper office or department. All patients left to roam hallways until they could ask for help or find their destination on their own. Also, no clear signage to help with the search. All in all very frustrating and disappointing. The experience with the surgical staff and surgeon was top notch. Very thorough, helpful and efficient.

I was taken by an ambulance to the Regional Medical Center after a car accident. The Trauma Center attended to me immediately, I think there were 4 or 5 people all working at the same time as soon as I was moved to their bed in the trauma center. I was examined by a doctor, blood drawn for lab test, x-ray taken, and CT Scan all within 15-20 minutes. The results came back under an hour (quick), the doctor reviewed the results and determined I could be discharged. The nurse took really good care of me while I was there to ensure I was good to go. This is my very first time at an ER/Trauma Center, and it was the quickest I've seen compared to other hospital ER where I had experiences with my family members. Thank you very much to the entire staff at the Trauma Center!!

My recent visit was not expected. I was a bit uncomfortable at first because my main go to hospital is Stanford! However, everything and everybody was so impressive! From the time I walked in with the check in nurse, the team that did the evaluation, the IV Process, placement to my room, x ray and ultrasound came to me was so fast - The nurse & doctor was very nice, welcoming and to the point - Everyone I had interaction with was friendly, nice did there job with compassion. I will say - For having the ER so busy, I was impressed with the system process that went so smooth. At the end of the day we all try to stay away from any ER, But If I had to recommend a hospital - Regional would be one of my top picks - Thank you for taking care of me!!!!!!!!

  • C D RIDINGER

I can't say it's ever fun to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room. I was treated in a timely fashion and they provided me much needed relief. I was not happy that they didn't go into any details about my condition or what caused it or what to do if it happened again ? I was instructed to follow up with my non existent primary Dr. & that just isn't going to happen as I'm not down for a 3 month wait.. They also totally disregarded my billing and seemed ignorant to the fact that, I definitely provided them with all needed information to correctly get to paid from my insurance that I've earned over 23 years on my job. They courteously provided me with a ride home.

  • Brenda Javier

Staff at the ER registration was very helpful to everyone that came up to him and displayed professionalism. I was most impressed with my wait time from triage to evaluation by a MD which was within 10-15 minutes unlike in another ER visit I had prior to that I waited for 16 hours before I was placed in a room. Every staff I had contact with explained to me everything they were doing from the blood draw , neck and head CT, chest xray and medication administered. MD (apologize for not remembering his name) was very thorough with me when discussing the test results and discharge process. Appreciate all the staff I had encountered during my visit.

  • Sarah Rabello

If I could give zero stars I would, no communication what so ever between departments. Was scheduled for surgery and I even called same day to confirm then I drive one hour to get there just to be told my surgery was canceled and to call my doctor. I call my doctors office which staff had to call my doctor who is in middle of another surgery to say they did not cancel my surgery. I was told to go back to the hospital by my doctor only to speak with a Melissa and Linda Nguyen at the hospital who said they canceled the surgery because they did not get auth in time. Then Melissa with attitude told me to get my own auth!!!!

Check on was easy. Receptionist very helpful. That’s where is ended. Been here over 3.5 hours and not seen yet. People in emergency aren’t wearing masks. Coughing and vomiting. We came because the wife became anemic. And still haven’t been seen yet. Yep still here waiting After the emergency room fiasco the patient was moved to a bed. That’s when things changed. Nurses were very good and I felt they cared. Doctor stopped by and checked on her. A few hours later she was moved to a hospital room. And it’s been rather pleasant since the ERBS. Only thing I don’t like is no doctors have come to check and see how she’s doing.

A late night visit taking a family member to the ER was great. Staff were attentive and competent and friendly. A later MLK Jr holiday visit to the hospital was weird. First of all, I went to the fountain door which had a sign saying to use another entrance with a confusing map so I walked all over before I found the right entrance. Then no one in the lobby. No security. No one to tell me where to go. Finally found a nurse station and got the right room number. Also, his phone charging cord had been lost when they moved his room. I followed up on the former floor but no one could find it. Otherwise it was fine.

  • Jasmine Macawile De La Cruz

My experience was good! I did not have to wait long to be brought back. They triaged me right away, made my concerns feel like they mattered, they recommended good tests to determine if it was something serious. I got my IVC placed by a paramedic student and he was cool! Very chill, good conversation. He did a great job sticking me with no pain. The Doctor that helped me was fast and efficient considering that there was a code going on and seemed very composed as well as the nurses! Everyone just seemed very chill, professional but you can tell they all get along with each other and have fun too.

My visit to Regional Hospital was laced with incompetence that was hazardous to my health! I was injured as a side affect of a procedure that lead to 2 returns to the ER because of major loss of blood! I was finally admitted because of their inability to stop my bleeding problem! My ER doctors were hesitant and uninformed! Luckily some of the nurses there were good on the first time! The nurses on the floors were excellent with their care of me! For what should have been an in and out procedure, I spent a week in the hospital! I was very unhappy with my care! I wish I could sue!

On April 3, 2023 I had a procedure done at regional medical center of San Jose. It was in reference to my heart at their Cath lab. I was treated with respect, attention and caring from the moment I met the first person at the first desk when I entered the ER at 6 o’clock in the morning. Through registration, through my postop preparation, through my procedure through my recovery and through my discharge. I can honestly appreciate and say that I was attended with excellence throughout every department and all personnel. Thank you again for your services.

  • Ana chavez

The place is over crowed, and the Doctor came out to the waiting room to discuss my condition in front of everyone waiting in the ER, not only did I feel exposed, but the Doctor wrote the report with the wrong information, claimed I threaten to leave, when that never happened. Stated my blood test were all normal when the actual report kept showing “abnormal” throughout the document. I was very disappointed with the privacy they give the patient, and the lack to report accurate information on the patient records.

  • Victoria Mulhall

My experience in the emergency room was … okay, I suppose. I went in for something they barely acknowledged. They kept saying I came in for one thing, when it was really something different. I was never treated for my concerns and didn’t have much to say regarding getting treatment. They found something else for which I needed to be treated, which was good. However, they kept changing the details about how they were going to treat it. Once they completed part of the treatment, they rushed me out of there.

  • Anjali J

This is a horrible hospital. My dad had a stroke a few days ago and on the first floor. Nurses Christina, Tina, Katy are bad nurses. Christina is mean. Katy is under confident and lazy. She doesn’t know her job. The aide had to give her suggestions. Tina is confrontation and threatening. Nice nurses are Aaron, Leo, Sheema and Dianna are nice and treat patients in a humane manner. Doctors, PT, SPEECH THERAPISTS are nice. If the patient wants to pee it takes the nurses on Sn average of 30- min to arrive.

  • J.R. Nelson

My care was good. A valid diagnosis was reached, and I was kept up to date on progress being made. My only complaint is that an IV port was inserted into my arm even though the staff knew that, due to overcrowding, no IV could be administered. I was placed for over 4 hours back into the cold overcrowded waiting room. I had no jacket or other outer garment and was not offered anything to mitigate the cold. Due to what turned out to be Covid my throat was so sore I could barely speak.

  • alvaro lara

Absolutely great experience front desk nurse was definitely doing what she loves to do because was great at doing her job. Everyone that I had contact with was just excellent congrats to the emergency team for the great professional service they provided that hospital has come along way compared to just a couple years back they in my eyes are definitely a#1 hospital. Great job everyone and thank you for making my day better at a not so great time keep up the good work.

I had the privilege of undergoing physical therapy at this Medical Center after a sports injury, and I can't express how exceptional the quality of care was. The physical therapists are highly skilled and compassionate. The progress I made under their guidance was nothing short of life-changing. The value I received from the therapy sessions was immeasurable. If you're in need of rehabilitation or physical therapy, don't hesitate to choose this center.

My mom is 72 years old and was visiting from Los Angeles when she had a big fall and she was taken to Reginald medical center. On behalf of my mom want to tell you thank you so much . she say she had the best care . Doctors and nurses very polite and they show a lot of caring for her health . We called them from Texas and they were very polite and quick and we were talking to my mom in minutes . Thank you so much guys . Keep it up. Love from Texas

  • trimin

They scheduled surgery at 10AM but then told us to come at 5:30AM. We came and waited for 8 hours in the waiting room. Turns out they rescheduled the surgery for 3:30PM and did not tell us. I had to ask them after waiting a few hours already. One of the nurses was also slow to give pain meds when requested and did not want to help me get down from my bed when I needed to use the bathroom. Had her for 3 days straight.

  • Guillermo RuizAndrade

From the moment I step into the Regional Medical Center the ER door security welcomed me with a very nice and professional manner, he guided me to the steps to register into the system. The same treatment, nice and professional, was all the way from the first RN contact to the Dr. to MRI personnel and finally the discharge step. It was a GREAT! experience, I felted very well taken care of and made me feel important!

I accompanied my brother-in-law to this facility for a cataract operation 6am this morning. Every single one of the stuffs I came across has been very, very pleasant and helpful (a couple of physicians even stopped and offered help without my asking when I was looking for the cafeteria after my brother-in-law was rolled to the operation room). I would give 6 Stars if I could!

  • Todd Kennedy

One week after my surgery there still has been no contact from RMC and after three calls this week no reply and no follow-up appointments. No homecare follow-up. Substandard bandages over extensive surgical area. Under staffed and overcrowded ER. Call buttons on bed and on cable didn't work. It took 13 hours to get a room after being admitted to ER. Liked the staff.

  • Audrey Carlencia

When first arrived, everything was going well in time, but we'll waiting, the waiting room was full! Then the waiting toward the end was a long wait! Even waiting in area inside standing up, to get a shot in my arm a was a long wait. No privacy through the whole process. The shot hurt! My arm was in pain for three days, and I was allergic to the shot!

  • Aditya Kapoor

I was very worried when I ended up going to the ER, because I have had bad experiences with ERs. But in the RMC ER, the nursing staff and the doctor's are very kind, understanding and helpful. Seeing the kind of pain I was in, they immediately took action. At every step my comfort and well-being were the top priority.

  • Amandeep Kaur

Grateful to all RMC people who work with compassion, dedication and integrity. Infrastructure, ambience, medical facilities, hygiene are highly appreciable. Cafeteria of RMC is a cool place.Piano in the lobby adds to the comfortable seating arrangement at the main entrance.I am thankful and honored to share my views.

  • Jesse Mendez

The staff I had on my team were remarkable. From the Surgery team to the ICU, Everyone was welcoming and kept me well informed every step of the way. They were professional and friendly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the hospital is very old. Could use a facelift. But inside those walls are superstars!

  • Mikhail Z.

We didn’t know anything about the Regional Medical Center before. It appeared a good facility, nice and knowledgeable people. My wife spent 5 days after surgery, so it was very important time for her. I was with her most of the day time and also noticed how good people are there. We were pleasantly surprised.

really bad service, attend ppl who come after and delay services when including results. based on multiple visits in the past, i can say that its not a great experience to have to stay 5-6 hours without any updates or assistance especially when in pain still. recieved lack of respect by a staff.

I was transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital, but my family was not informed. They had to call multiple times to determine where I was. At first, they were told that I was discharged, so someone came to pick me up. When I was not there, family started inquiring and finally learned were I was.

Great nurses, I didn't have the opportunity to meet with the doctors but the nurses in charged were amazing. After 4 days in the hospital my dad was discharge. He still suffering with constipation, big tommy and stomach issues. My family and I are great full for taking care of my dad. …

Everyone was very nice and polite. After an accident I ended up at the Emergency dept. and they patch me up fast! I stayed overnight and nurses were checking my health often. No need to press the nurse button. All my meds were given at the right time. I liked my stay at this hospital.

The ER Doctor who treated my Mother was excellent, she was very nice, knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. Also, the whole team of technicians, specialists who treated my Mom were very good and dedicated too. We really appreciate all of these people for their help and kindness.

These are real superheros saving peoples lives. We had a scary incident early in the morning at 4 AM on Christmas Day!! The ER room was quite full but we got taken care of within 1 min. Super helpful and patient staff. We are so grateful for everyone who works here …

My visit was quick and the staff was patient and kind which I appreciated as I am an anxious person. I was able to get an X-ray pretty quick and prescribed medicine shortly after. My whole visit was maybe an hour. If I would’ve went to Valley I’d probably still be there lol

I was seen for a panic attack, an ongoing issue I’ve been seen at this ER before . I felt completely ignored by the doctor on duty. I asked several times for something to just calm my nerves. The doctor denied all my requests. I was left feeling uncomfortable and unheard.

My son's stay at Regional Medical Center was exceptional. Very pleasant staff. Everyone knew how to treat my sons needs. They would inform me on his situation and what was being done. We are both very pleased with how we were treated. Thank you Regional Medical Center!

The ER staffs were very friendly but the work was not done as I expected. the blood test was taken but never explained the result to me. after the visit, my mom still have the same problem and the doctor from stanford told me that her blood count was alarmingly low!

The staff took excellent care of my wife both in the emergency room and after she was admitted. You are critically under staffed but still managed to care for her . I appreciate all of the people who helped her , and I am great full you were all there .

  • Henry Suh

All the crews and staff were professional and courteous, from the admission to the discharge. The facility looked well maintained and organized. I deducted one star since I had to wait in bed for two hours since the scheduled time for the procedure.

  • Phat Ta

I never thought the emergency room can move that fast. I used to have to wait hours before I can see the Doctor. The whole process: The Dr checks my wound, does the x-ray, numbs my figure, and does the stitches took 2 hours. I am very impressed.

The ER was good at diagnosing the breath difficulty and fainting of my wife due to the elevated heart enzymes on Monday ER admission. However, on Tuesday after a high fever occurred, she was transferred to the different facility in towel 1,

I wish there is a way to report negative rating. I cannot give any star after my recent experience with chronic leg issue I went. Absolutely no care for patient health or follow up. MRI they requested with out any detail reason and request

My wife Sandra was an overnight patient at Regional Medical Center on Sept 14. The service that she received from all of the nurses and support staff was excellent. The only problem was with checkout on Sept 15. We had been told and there

I really can’t say anything bad about regional medical hospital on Jackson st. I’ve been there a couple times once for me an recently had to take my mother. I feel like this place does well on how they train and protocols. You can tell

prepping for surgery is always stressful. I was very happy to be greeted by a warm, friendly person who unexpectedly calmed my stress. I appreciated that Regional Medical staff were on time and efficient in "checking me in".

  • Tui Tran

The staff is great, but I was surprise my surgery wasn't on their schedule even I got the confirmation text in advance, so I had to go home, then they call me back for the surgery in the same day.

  • James Montre

MY wife suffered. Procedures that take minutes at other hospitals took a day at Regional. Nurses were great! If you can possibly go another hospital, go! Very bad healthcare!

  • Sharon Maggi

The nursing staff was very friendly and helpful. The security was helpful is giving me directions and calling me when I left my overnight bag under the wheelchair.

  • Connie Albright

My entire surgical staff were amazing. Nurse Betty in recovery was such a Blessing. I was admitted for a few days and all the staff were caring and attentive.

  • chelsea villarreal

not family friendly. no changing station in restrooms to change children. no lactation room. As a hospital, these amenities should be available to families.

  • Anthony Chavez

Went in due to chest pains and they took care of me pretty quick. The hospital was clean and the nurses and doctors were very polite and knowledgeable.

  • Roger Doan

Treated my friend terribly and gave her awful care. Left her feeling uncomfortable and in pain. Would not recommend coming here for treatment.
