Fox Rent A Car Miami will ruin the beginning and end of your trip. I promise. Just Don’t Do It! Their company should be fined and permanently closed. I usually use Enterprise and my God I regret not using them. One, you will not be able to speak to a representative at no point in the process. They charge you $11.99 per day for a Florida Sun Pass instead of your actual tolls like most ethical companies. Also, they charge a refueling charge of $7.99 a gallon and will falsely accuse you of not returning the car on full. They also added three hours to to one I returned my vehicle and then charged me more even though I was still covered for that time. They said I returned my car at 2 pm which is impossible since my flight departed Miami at 1:55, and I had to take a shuttle back to airport then a train, then a long walk to the counter to check my bag. I checked my bag in with over an hour to spare. In addition, they lie in the return time of your vehicle. I pre-paid Everything for my vehicle including taxes and the amount was $148.00. Once I was on the way home, my email statement from FOX was $294. Now I must dispute charges with my credit card company because no matter how long you hold, they do not pick up the phone. I have been on hold for more than 2 hours. It’s a bait and switch scam. By the time you get to their location which is NOT AT THE MIAMI AIRPORT, you will have no choice but to rent from them even though you will be disgusted at their extremely high fees, long walk and train ride to the rental car area in Miami Airport, long wait for the shuttle to Fox, rocky 10 minute ride to Fox, and finally, the 40 minutes you will have to wait online. At the end of checkout, my complaints about the bait and switch were rebuttal with my representative’s snarky comment, “When you own your own company, you can make your own rules.” I know you may be tempted because the prices SEEM lower, but there is a reason they only have 2 stars. This will ruin your trip from the beginning. Oh, and not to mention, I was supposed to have a FORD EXPLORER and I was given an old Toyota Forerunner. It was an ugly vehicle, but I was stuck with it because it had been almost two hours since I landed at the airport and I was late to my appointment. And literally as I’m typing, and I have all of my bars, my phone was just disconnected after being on hold. FIGURES!

I rented a car from Fox for six days for my employee on a business trip. I prepaid $488 for the rental and an additional $150 security deposit. After the trip, the security deposit was not returned, an additional $67 was charged to the credit card, and, at the time of writing this review, an additional charge of $217 is pending. Calling Fox is an exercise in futility. [Read a review by Michele Weaver who explained the futility of calling in excellent detail.] Each time I call, the wait to speak with a representative has exceeded 35 minutes. The last time I called, my wait was nearly one hour when the call was disconnected after receiving an automated message that their billing office closed for the day. The one time I was able to speak with a representative, she became frustrated with me because I couldn’t understand her, so she transferred me back to the hold music wasteland. Ironically, Fox continues to play a recorded message while you are on hold expounding on their virtues of friendly staff, great customer service, and reasonable prices. As best as I can deduce, since I can’t reach a live person, my employee was charged an additional $20.99 per day for a “loss damage waiver” and $6.49 per day for “Road Side Assistance.” I expressly declined these options were prepaying for the reservation. My manager said the wait to get his car upon arrival was long and tiresome. He refused the additional coverages and was told to initial an electronic pad but didn’t catch that Fox added them onto his bill anyway. My $488 rental is now a $705 rental, and I can’t reach a person to discuss it. In short, if you want friendly staff, great customer service, and reasonable prices, try any other car rental company! Update - I called again the moment their customer service line opened and was immediately number 8 in line to speak with a representative. I finally spoke with a representative identified as "David C" who politely listened to my concerns, apologized for the experience, and refunded the offending charges. He was a breath of fresh air and I thoroughly appreciated his help and professionalism. He did a fine customer recovery and I appreciate it. Consequently, I increased my rating from one to three stars based on this fine example of good customer service.

CHECK YOUR FINAL BILL and DO YOUR OWN CALCULATION - HIDDEN FEES! We didn't have an issue with the car itself, driving fine. The location is actually quite far from LAS airport and you have to take two shuttles. It wasn't clear on the website when I first booked the car from Priceline. If I knew this earlier, I could have rent one less day. But this is not my biggest problem. The biggest issue is that after we drop off the car and there is a hidden fee called 'Fuel' which cost around $66 added to the final bill. We bought the pre-paid fuel when we picked up the car because we were told that the gad was cheaper at Fox, which is true. However, after we returned the car, I found my final bill was $66 higher than the earlier estimated total cost when I picked up the car. The official pdf invoice sent to my email didn't list where that extra $ 66 dollar came from, yes, they didn't list the extra cost in the invoice and just did a wrong sum up on the invoice that tells you to pay a total of around $700 dollars. I did the calculation myself and found out the actual total should be around $630. Later, I received another email with a receipt where I finally found a charge called 'Fuel' right under my Pre-paid fuel charge that charged me $66 dollars. Obviously, they double charged me for the gas. I called customer service and the agent solved my problem in seconds and refunded me the extra charge immediately. Usually, I would greatly appreciate the quick speed of solving customers' problems, but in this case, it made me feel like they already knew that this problem happens a lot with many other customers and they clearly knew what's going on in their rental field. Plus the way of not listing this 'Fuel' charge in the official pdf invoice made me feel super suspicious. I hope this was just a mistake, however, the impression that FOX had left to my husband and me is that we were almost 100% sure that they do this on purpose and hope people not paying attention to their final bill and not double checking the calculations.

I didn't read the reviews for this location (MCO Orlando) until AFTER I already rented from them- highly unusual for me! However, I will say that I was overall impressed (especially after reading the reviews, lol). Pros- EXTREMELY discounted prices, great vehicle (I want to buy the Malibu I had now), super friendly manager ( name started with a D? She was absolutely wonderful!) who handled my rental, easy return, took minutes and mostly great shuttle service (once on it, quick and helpful)!! Cons- EXTREMELY long wait to get the car. Every service person was chatting up every customer and each transaction took forever. We had just gotten off of a 5 am flight, waited forever for the shuttle and were tired. The line went out of the door and I must have waited at least 30-40 + minutes WITH baggage. If you know people are coming, plan for it!! Which brings me to the chatting up of each customer- it's basically to upsell you on insurance, toll plates, etc. which I understand, but I just wasn't in the mood for. It is also difficult because you sign on a small computer screen, it's hard to see exactly what you are agreeing to if you are a person like me who needs it on paper in front of you. Their receipts are also difficult to follow, but seem to be spot on as I am checking my credit card statement. But clarity helps. I was also extremely tired, so that didn't help. The shuttle was difficult to pin down go TO the rental. We weren't sure when it was coming and it kept filling up before we could get on. We ended up ubering. Coming FROM Fox was better, less people, less wait time. Their toll plate charge is kind of ridiculous, but I get it. I also don't know ho wit compares to other rental companies. The driver was also extremely helpful. Overall, I would return and recommend to others as long as time was NOT an issue and they are good with double checking the scant paperwork with what was told to them (as the paperwork is not clear)!!

Do not use this car rental company!! I was set to land in San Diego and my flight was rerouted on the last hour of our flight to LA. Our car rental was arranged to be picked up at the Fox Car Rental location in SD. By the time we landed, it was 2 AM. We sorted out our last minute hotel, went to sleep by 3 AM and I arrived at fox rentals in Los Angelos at 8 AM to figure out the rental from there. I asked the clerk if it was possible to modify my existing reservation, given my circumstances. She told me we could cancel the reservation and refund it once she emailed the SD location. She then proceeded to tell us that our new rental would cost $300 more even though we would have the car for TWO days now, as opposed to four days in our original plan. She then began to try to persuade us that we needed to buy the toll pass because there are “a lot of tolls on the Pacific Coast Highway” . At this point, I realized this company does not value their customers at all and we were being scammed, rather than accommodated after circumstances completely out of our hands. I was more than willing to work with them to schedule a new reservation until this woman started speaking to us in a condescending way and blatantly lying to us about something so obvious because she thought we wouldn’t know better as tourists. I was already weary prior to the trip because the company never sent my confirmation number and I could not get a hold of them by phone. I was never refunded from my original reservation despite what I was told by the clerk and they disputed my claim stating that I never canceled it. I will never be using these rip off artists again and I suggest everyone else does the same.

My rental price booked off expedia was great. the pick up in vegas went smoothly. i was offered and accepted an option to pay a preferred gas rate of $89.95, meaning i could drop the car off in LAX empty. our trip got extended by 1.5 days and extending the rental online was easy. when i cme to drop off car rental in lax the guy taking in the car showed me the contract and the fee was higher. I showed him my vegas contract and asked why the discrepancy but he said he didn't know and sent me inside. the worker tried to find out why there was a discrepancy but couldn't figure it out so he called the manager. the manager fed me malarkey saying the tanks of the car of the sonata is bigger so that is why there is an additional $70 tacked on. huh? i said that doesn't make sense. fox rented me a standard car and charged $89.95 for that tank so how could i then be charged an additional $70. the guy was adamant saying $89.95 is a base rate and then more gets tacked on. i had no more time to spare as i had a flight to catch feeling like i was duped. but here's the kicker... here i am fussing at the baloney he was trying to feed me and then realized the $70 discrepancy was for an additional 1.5 days of rental (we extended our rental and i completely forgot about that) so the fee was legitimate. i felt relieved the fee was legit but the manager trying to tell me it was a gas fee when it had nothing to do with this was real stinky to make sense of the fee. i'd rent from fox again but i would not take the option to bring tank back empty at a premium rate.

I had reserved a car with booking.com which showed a shuttle could pick me up from jfk. I had to wait 45 minutes they lied and said someone already came back with bunch of travelers. It was a lie since I was waiting at federal circle where the shuttle supposedly came from. Finally when I got there I had this uneasy feeling from other people complaining about different things. My turn came, lady at the counter asked about my booking info, drivers license and credit card. Then she proceeded and said that she “will” be adding an insurance on this rental. Again she “told”me, instead of asking me. I said please stop I don’t need this extra insurance since I have full coverage with my own car with that rental would be covered. She said show me the proof, I showed my insurance card. Then she asked for a declaration page. I was shocked. Who carries an insurance declaration page with them? No one. They were forcing me to buy an optional useless coverage. Long story short. I walked out and arranged for someone to pick me up.I had to wait another 50 minutes in their parking lot. Many employees who interacted with me before went by, no one cared to ask if I was ok or needed anything or if anything could be done to make the situation better. Useless careless, absolute worst customer service. I will be calling Booking.com and telling them all about it. I feel like I dodged a bullet by walking out.

Rent elsewhere! I travelled to Orlando and rented 2 minivans from fox. It all began as the shuttle bus never came and after 40 minutes of waiting in the heat and having a disability was forced to take an UBER to the facility. Later that evening while driving to dinner noticed the road was dark and pulled over on the highway only to realize both headlights were blown out. I tried calling the facility but there is no number and the toll-free overseas agent refused to connect me to where I picked up the car to see what I should do. I then spent 30 minutes on hold for road repair who told me to go exchange the car. I asked them to be sure the facility had another minivan and they gave me a very hard to time to confirm availability and begged them to check which they reluctantly did. I then had to drive with the high beams on over 20 miles to exchange the vehicle. Never the less I missed my dinner business appointment and wasted 3 hours of time and tolls. It is unacceptable to give a car with no headlights and should of course be thoroughly checked before each rental. This was not only inconvenient but incredibly dangerous and potentially deadly had I not noticed. Additionally, the replacement car I was given incurred a flat and there was NO jack in the car and had to wait for road assistance at midnight to come and help. Just an awful experience

HORRIBLE! We will never use again! They made us pay $150 in a deposit that we would return the car and that we would get that back when we return the car. We did not get that money back and every time we call we get the same recording that there is 10 callers in front of you. This doesn't matter the day of the week or the time of day we get this recording. We have sat on the phone an hour and still 10 callers in front of us. And when we got in the car the car was on empty! And I mean empty. They told us to go to the closest gas station and they will reimburse us. So it was not a quick drop off and we had to make time to go in, stand in line and get our money back for the gas. We had to make sure we saved the receipt as well. All this took time! Plus, the women convinced us to purchase a pass for $80 for tolls on the roads and how its so much cheaper to do it this way. We both said we went to Colorado Springs before and never went on tolls roads. She said you had to have paid them and convinced us we had to have this. Well we didn't and fought to get our money back which we did get that back but not the $150 yet! We have turned to poor reviews on here and fb to hopefully have them contact us to give our money back! We will NEVER use Fox Rental again and advise others not to as well.

I can only say that in consideration of the agency, we arrived after 11:15 PM to pick up our car at the Salt Lake City Airport (off site) location. I will never, however, use Fox rental again. There was what looked like a key mark down the passenger's side. There were dings and scratches all over the car. The exterior had not been washed. Or should I say, it was one of those washes where you spray the car down and just wipe it dry only to find dirt all over it the next day. The tires were not even touched, the wheel wells were caked with mud. Now, there were plenty of upgrades on the lot which the rep could have provided to us. However, he did not. Continuing, when family sat in the back the next day, we found out that cleaning the interior was an after thought as well. Looking closer at the car, the tires were almost bald and the front alignment was non-existent. When I returned the car and advised the lot lady of the issues, she said, "oh, okay" and walked away. I am sure some people have had great experiences with this company. They were the least expensive. However, we will not be doing business with Fox again. I'd rather pay a bit more for a cleaner, safer car.

I have been renting from Fox at LAX (LA, CA.) for many years, over 8. I rent directly from fox website. I login to my account , they have my drivers license information. It’s easy to book. Pay now or later. The wait for the shuttle usually is long, but only sometimes you get lucky. The drivers are friendly and helpful. The drive from LAX to Fox is less then 5min from the airport if no traffic. But it could take half hour by the time time the shuttle arrives. If there are many renters at the counter, you will be waiting for a very long time. The staff at the counter are Not friendly, and yes they are pushy. But I reject everything, just give me the car. The deposit is or was always $150. Refundable right after you return the car in good condition and full tank. Also an easy and fast return. Depends on the type of car you choose , they will tell you to go to the back to section 4 or 5 , 8, 10… BEST PART, you get to choose the car and color you like. The cars are Always clean with low mileage. I would give them a 5 stars if the service at the counter was better and they had more shuttles from the airport to Fox location.

Do not use Fox Rent A Car!!! The customer service is terrible!!! I rented a blue 2020 Nissan Murano SUV with Lic # T481AX from Nov 4-12, 2022. We returned the car at the Fox Salt Lake City Airport location around noon time on November 12, 2022. Unfortunately, I left my expensive camera in a small black camera bag by the floor of the front seat of the passenger side. I called Fox Rent a Car immediately on Nov 12 and multiple times after that and left many voice messages and send several emails. There are several phone number listed on the real car agreement. However, they all went to same voice messages. They didn't have actual customer service and refused to give me the phone number or email address from Salt Lake City Airport Fox Rent a Car location. It's been over two weeks now and still haven't heard anything back from the company. I would appreciate a call back or email to let me know the status of my camera. It's absolutely frustrating! The pictures within the camera are extremely valuable to me. It documented my life and trips to Utah national parks :-(

Experience was HORRIBLE! I don't even know where to begin. I had booked with a car seat but decided to travel with my own, the website would not let me modify the reservation just my personal info. When I got there they said they could not modify the reservation on their end and that it would charge me more. The front desk suggested I just make a new reservation and cancel the existing but don't know if I would get the same offer I had. That makes NOOO sense. The car itself was a piece of you know. The breaks were SHOT completely, I was terrified to drive the speed limit with my three year old in the car. When i called to get set up to change the car it took 25 minutes to get through then the call dropped and I never got a call back and couldn't get through again, kept going in a circle. We kept the car and just drove slow and off main highways the whole rest of the vacation. It was my first vacation on 5 years and my sons first experience, and Fox Rental made it a horrible experience. I will NEVER NEVER EVER rent from them again.

  • Mary Lou Torpey

There should be a minus star rating and I'd give them minus 1 million. They are rip off artists. I tried to rent a car in Austin and never got a confirmation. I tried to call for the confirmation twice and spent two hours on hold only to be hung up on. I also tried sending messages via their website and never heard back. I thought the car was never rented and used another company. They charged my Am Ex $413 even though I was never confirmed for a car and they didn't pick up their phone or respond to my messages. I have been in disputes with Am Ex for 2 months over this charge. Fox keeps being successful in getting the charge reinstated because they can provide paperwork to Am Ex that they never provided to me! BEWARE OF FOX RENTAL COMPANY'S FRAUDULENT PRACTICES!! They trap you with an unconfirmed rental, make it impossible to inquire about or cancel, then bill you for it and magically come up with documentation for American Express. Nice game for them, terrible for potential customers. Use any other rental company but never Fox.

  • Nicolas Karr

My whole experience with FOX Rent A Car was marred by hidden fees - and out-dated fee structures as well - this whole experience felt very much like a business-first and customer-last approach. To add to this we were charged extra for returning the car back early - which is by far the worst fee practice I have ever experienced with a rental car company. Everyone we talked to when returning the car just said "I don't make the rules" or "that was in the agreement" - neither of these arguements make this kind of practice right or appropriate. There was also a complete lack of communication while we still had the car. I tried multiple times to get a hold of someone on the phone, but could not reach a single customer service representative. The phone lines took me in loops. I also reached out via e-mail and have yet to receive a response a week later. The whole experience was frustrating, confusing, and honestly anxiety-ridden. I would not recommend FOX Rent A Car for anyone in the future.

Same bad story as the rest, the car was filthy, smelled, seats were disgusting and I was charged for insurance after I declined. We returned the car with a full tank of gas, however, they said it was empty, glad we took pictures to prove them wrong. We spent three hours on the phone requesting a refund and finally, after providing the pictures, receipts for gas showing time of fill up and drop off , we were told we'd be refunded. What a racket this company is, stay away, pay more at a reputable company and avoid the headaches. This place is a joke. Oh, and we made a reservation through price line which they totally ignored and charged us over $500.00 for 5 days when the daily rate was $33.03. All they said at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport was, the deposit is refundable which should match the reservation total, sorry, wrong. DON'T MAKE THE SAME DUMB MISTAKE WE DID. They lied about everything, especially that we didn't return the car full of gas, someone profited from that fraudulent lie.

  • Amanda B

Very unpleasant experience at Fox Rent-A-Car Orlando. The car had multiple scratches on the inside and outside, the front desk attendant, Livia da Silva, that assisted us was unhelpful, uninterested, a bit rude and a liar. She tried to push 3 different cars on us that was different from what we had reserved, she had the audacity to say the car we requested wasn’t available, mind you we saw the car parked in the front lot as we walked in. On top of that, when we got to the counter the price charged was $300 more than what we quoted and was promised. They made us purchase extra insurance even after we had contracted insurance already through priceline prior to picking up the car. To make everything worse upon arriving to the airport we had to wait 1 hour for the transfer van to even show up. Also, there’s no direct line to get in contact with them, all you get are recorded messages from corporate. A total fiasco, will not be doing business with them ever again.

  • Dawn Parry

Awful experience with this company! My flight time got changed and I was unable to change my vehicle pick up time with Fox Rent A Car. After trying about 7 different times to get a hold of someone about this, I was told I would be unable to change it and that they would hold my reservation until the end of the day. No big deal right? Well upon arrival to the desk (after waiting in line for about 40 minutes...), I was told that my vehicle had been given to someone else. Long story shorter, they offered me a "discounted" price for another one... Eight hundred and some dollars later I was off with a car. Meanwhile, I was under the impression that my reservation was already handled. I feel like I was being scammed or up sold to. I really did not want to be worrying about money or feel like I got taken total advantage of when I was on a trip to get married. Never, ever again will I use Fox Rent A Car to rent a vehicle. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!

  • lisa ann

Went in with high hopes until the agent at PHX says "we get alot of our cars stolen...they usually end up in Mexico". That is a factual statement. The last day we were there, we were victims of a tik tok theft ring. It was a nightmare. Not only did they make us pay for gas the "thief" used (was on full) but after my deductible and my insurance agency settled they had the NERVE to charge me for ADMIN FEES...$150....My insurance company reached out and said you should NOT charge her for that ...as that is the "COST OF DOING BUSINESS". They weren't having it...so I have to pay them back on top of everything which is just BS in my book. Will never recommend nor use them again. They were relentless and complete vultures. FYI...I was told my my insurance that OTHER rental companies would have waived that. I guess they got their money back (that I supposidly saved) on this rental. Still makes me ill to think about it. Go elsewhere

  • Sarah Salluom

JFK location. They tried to charge us $30 a day for insurance when we declined it. The pen pad was pretty hard to see and as she was telling us we were denying their insurance coverage and to sign here, that’s what we thought we were doing. But no, she lied. She charged us with their coverage. Anyways, after 2 days worth of phones calls and emails, I finally got an email back and we had to email them a copy of our declaration page to show proof of insurance. I rent cars all the time from carrentals.com and I have NEVER had anyone ask for proof of the declaration page. This was a horrible process. We finally got an email saying they’ll refund us the extra charges.. so we will see how that goes. Also, it’s off property. Taking the shuttle to and from the airport is a mess. I do not recommend. Also, we have to leave early… I hope the shuttle to the airport runs 24/7 like the guy on the phone told us.

I really wish I would have read the reviews prior to renting from this place. The same happened to us we were up charged for the insurance and when I told her numerous times I wanted to decline she continued to tell me no the state of Florida will not recognize my insurance. Due to this charge I was now not able to use my credit card to pay for the car and 150$ deposit and had to use my debit which then held up 400$ for our trip. Completely unprofessional to blatantly lie to a customer and try to scam us. Once we got to our hotel I went to their website were it says yes you can decline additional insurance when returning the car I spoke with another rep who refunded us the money for the insurance. Buyer beware if renting from this place make sure you know you can decline the insurance and sun pass and only pay what you are charged on Expedia.

I live in Hawaii, but own a second home in NYC. As a result, I often need to rent a car in NYC (where I do not own a car) to visit family in New England and friends out on Long Island. Drivo-Fox Rent A Car is my company of choice when renting a car in NYC. They have an excellent choice of vehicles, and not even once has a car broken down during my rental period. They have a perfect record! I have never waited more than ten minutes to get to the counter. The agents are quick and efficient in getting me on my way. On my most recent trip, they even offered me a post-trip discount because of a slight inconvenience during my trip. They offer the best cars at the lowest prices without the inconvenience of waiting 30 to 90 minutes to get to the counter and begin your process. Drivo-Fox is definitely hands-down my car rental company of choice!

  • Leonel Dorta

Extremely horrible experience, everything from the pick up with all the scar tactics and the upselling to the car being in really bad shape. I told the person who did the intake about it. The car had: 52,000 hard miles on it. Metal on metal with the brake pads and the rotor Rotor was warped tires would vibrate after 65 miles an hour Tires and rotor would shake when braking The car did not shift properly Did not have any power unless you hit the gas hard When I sent them an email about the condition of the car some guy named Nicked called me telling me he was going to credit me 20% of my $822 bill. He credited me $25. I will never use them again. Also very far from JFK I can see how somebody can miss their flight due to the fact you have to use their shuttle service and then get on the air train to your terminal.

  • bike HikeWander

If I could give 1/2 a star, I would. The car was dated on the inside (meaning, worn interior and dirty). The return associate was dismissive. I paid for the pre-tank refill for the return of the vehicle to Phoenix Sky Airport and was quoted $75 for the service from the counter person. Was also told a "deposit of $150" would be placed on the card but removed when the car was returned. And having never used Fox before, now know the return associate has "no clue" about that return of deposit. Quite the scam when you are trying to make your return flight and don't have the extra hour or two to deal with associate's selective incompetence in regards to the matter. The cheap advertised cost of a rental from FOX is just that - an advertisement. Stick with the knowns - Hertz, Enterprise, Budget.

  • Doron Steger

I rented a car from Fox in Orlando Florida airport. I chose the option to return the car with full gas as I always do. When I got my credit card statement it showed that Fox had charged me over $200 to fill an empty tank. I called Fox and was told I would need to get a receipt showing that I had filled the tank just before returning it. I retrieved the receipt and emailed it to Fox. No response. Several further attempts and they finally agreed to refund the money. 2 things to consider when renting - make sure when you return the car with a full tank they correctly mark it!!! I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this error was not done purposely. Secondly, they charged over $200 to fill a standard car tank - this when gas prices where around $3.25/gallon! Highway robbery!!

This is for the FORT MEYERS AIRPORT FOX RENT A CAR! The price you are paying is practically double what you actually pay. I was originally quoted $356.23 to rent a midsize car on orbitz. At the Fort Meyers Fox Rent a Car (which is NOT located at the airport), Angel quoted me exactly $143 extra for the insurance that would take care of everything. I knew I would have to pay for 1/2 tank of gas also. My bill ended up being a whopping $673.22. DO NOT believe them or trust them, and of course nobody answers the phone at the actual location. When I call the 800 # I can barely understand the representative both times I called with their thick heavy accents. They did nothing to correct my bill. I will never use them again and suggest the same to anybody reading this review!

Waited half hour outside on line to get into the inside to agent. She was trying to literally force me to take the liability insurance. I repeatedly declined. I have insurance thru my auto, especially for car rental. I finally get a car I get in it smells from WEED. I went back to complain. The manager by the name of Kay, tried to downplay and say these things can happen and I said. Not acceptable your cleaning crew either smokes or the car wasn't cleaned. Another half an hour till I get Another car, smells good like they put in air freshners, I drive off about half 15 minutes later car started to smell from smoke. Basically they sprayed the car to give it fresh smell. Awful. Never rent from them. Employees don't care and their is no genuine customer service.

Just a warning about Fox Rent A Car. After reserving AND paying for a car in advance to the tune of $204, we get to the rental office and they completely botched everything. They didn't use my prepaid reservation, they scammed us and created a new reservation without informing us. They also lied repeatedly about the refueling charges and told us it would be $3.45 a gallon then charged us $7.99 a gallon. They added services that we did not approval and the final bill for a car we ALREADY PRE PAID for came out to an additional $629!!!!! We Finally got them to refund the $204 but they fought us on ever single charge that they screwed up by creating the reservation in store. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I WARN ALL OF MY FRIENDS TO STEER CLEAR!!

  • Fiona Becker

Rented my first ever car from Fox. The price was great and the staff was helpful. They did a video tour of the car beforehand to note any existing dings or damages and sent a copy to me. It all seemed pretty straightforward. About two weeks after returning the car, the toll charges came through on my card, which was nice that it was included and automatic so we didn’t have to carry any cash for toll booths. I’d probably rent from Fox again- I gave four stars only because I rented directly from Fox’s website, and they don’t appear to offer insurance policies, whereas renting from a third-party allows this option for a small surcharge. I would’ve rather had that, but it wasn’t clear and it’s not something that can be added at the time of pickup.

Bob, I have a great review for you and your car rental service. I recently had the pleasure of renting a car from drivo Car Rental, and I must say, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Bob went above and beyond to ensure that my rental experience was smooth and hassle-free. First and foremost, the customer service at Bob's Car Rental was top-notch. From the moment I walked in, Bob greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. He took the time to understand my needs and helped me choose the perfect car for my trip. His knowledge and expertise in the industry were evident, as he provided valuable insights and recommendations. The car itself was in excellent Highly recommended drivo rent a car in JFK location

Terrible experience with FOX and ACE car rental office at JFK. A woman by the name of May wouldn’t give me my reserved rental because I didn’t want my wife to wait outside in the RAIN as she checked me in. How is that okay?!? She told me one person per party is allowed in the building and that’s the policy. I told her it’s a BS policy, What’s the point of this point of this policy? Then she said “I don’t know”. She then handed me my license and credit card and told me she won’t serve me. Terrible disrespectful woman. Went to budget. Got my car in 5 minutes and left. No wonder this office has 2 stars. Even one star is too much! Unhappy employee with no logic. Old useless COViD policy enforced by a person with a useless brain…

  • Andrew Gatt

I hope you’re not in a rush. I’m still standing here waiting for my car. There were only four people ahead of me in line but they ran out of cars and I’m waiting for our car to get washed. It’s been about 2 hours since I got here. By the way, you also have to take the air train and then a shuttle bus just to get out here. My plane landed almost three hours ago and I’m standing here waiting for a car. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your insurance declaration page or you have to purchase their insurance. Also, make sure you have a major cruder card. We heard a guy who was enraged that they wouldn’t accept his card. Also, another customer had a Canadian drivers license so they wanted to take a $500 deposit so he left.

Fox Rent A Car is by far the WORST car rental! I made an online reservation for a compact SUV. When I got to the airport, they upgraded the vehicle to a regular SUV, without asking, which increased my cost. Then, they asked me about insurance - I said I do NOT want insurance. When the sales rep went through all the signing at the end - she was not clear about what I was signing, and the screen was not clear either - she added the insurance even though I said I DO NOT WANT IT. The car also had a tire that was low pressure, and I had to keep filling it with air, and the brakes were shaky on the highway. This rental ended up costing me $500 more than necessary. My one piece of advice: Do not rent a car from Fox

  • chaim berger

DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! 1, they are not on the airport so I had to wait 15 minutes for the shuttle, on the shuttle there was wild music playing. 2, when I got to the place they wouldn't accept my debit card. Then they wanted me to buy insurance from them, that is basic insurance for over 25 dollars a day, unless I can show them proof of my own insurance. I showed them email confirmations of monthly payments, but then they said it's not considered proof. I have to give them the actual insurance card. It was after 10PM and the insurance company was closed, so they said I will have to purchase insurance from them. Thank God I was able to get a good rental somewhere else for almost the same price.

  • C L

Great customer service at the airport. Antonio was friendly and helpful. The girl at the counter was indifferent to me and was not very friendly but the girl outside the office, Rashida, was sweet and offered to drive the car up to me when she saw I used a cane to walk with all my luggage. The car was ok. The wiper fluid light was on and the wiper blades were bad. Left very streaky windows. The rear wiper was shredded. The interior of the car made the car seem much older than the milage suggested. The biggest disappointment was paying $64 for half a tank of gas. Would use them again based on customer service. Just will not prepay for gas. Post says Queens, but the rental was in West Palm Beach

  • Riana Kreuz

THESE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE. Would give zero stars if possible. Had to wait over an hour in line. Then we got the car, already having scratches. The gas was NOT full, we had to tell the staff and they looked, told us to take a picture and fill it exactly where it was. Later on, we had gotten a flat tire surely due to the condition of the tire. We had to wait hours to have someone come and change it. They used baloney skin tire instead of a regular one. We returned the car before our flight when we saw an extra charge of $200! FOR A FLAT TIRE! Something that wasn’t our fault and can be considered THEIRS for the quality of the tire. Currently trying to dispute the charge. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS.

  • John Carmona

I've rented from most car rental places and this was the worst. I paid upfront for a car reservation at an estimated pick up time of 11:45 am. Arrived at the counter earlier than expected due to a quick flight experience. My arrival time at the counter was 10:55 after waiting on line for more than 20 minutes, and thats when they started their nickel and dime services! They said since i was early, I either had to upgrade my car or wait 50 minutes to be able to pick up my car. What kind of nonsense is that for a car rental service at an airport! Flights are usually a little early or late depending on airport conditions! I will avoid this company as much as i can in the future!

  • Latoya White

Reserved a car for my husband on Priceline, paid the insurance online. Get there and they told us they don’t take MCU visa debit. We gave them another debit and they said we have to have $300 then they said $500 then they said $753. They were very patronizing and they had an attitude. I felt like they were racially biased. We left without a vehicle because every time we tried to wrap up the transaction they told us it costs more. I had a very important event to attend and it cost me $35 in car fare from home to there and back. Then another $54 to get to my event’s destination and $60 to get home. I was so stressed out. Needless to say I wouldn’t use them ever again.

  • marc barre

Reserved online a SUV for Madrid airport, received an e-mail from fox a few days before saying the don’t have 9 passengers vehicle and the reserved a SUV for me. I had nothing to do if I wanted to keep the 5 passengers SUV reservation. So I did nothing as this was my request. Surprise! They had a 9 passengers vehicle for us, we were 4 persons… Agent try to convince me it was not that big and they had nothing else. Reserve the vehicle, got to the parking, it was like a mini school bus, went back to cancel the reservation and went to Hertz boot in the parking lot, thank god the agent was competent and we got the last SUV plus it was a busy holiday week end in Spain.

After reading all these negative reviews, I was a little scared what we would encounter. We rented a Toyota Corolla to drive from Austin to Big Bend. Amazingly, we did not have any problems in our one-week trip. Car was clean. A few things to know: 1) Don't go through tolls if you can avoid it. Set your Waze app to avoid tolls, or Fox will charge you $15 PLUS toll. Avoid the tolls and you'll be ok. 2) Yes, they person behind the counter will try to sell you other stuff. Every car rental company does this. Btw, your visa/credit card most likely covers you for car rental damage, so you don't need to purchase that. The only extra thing we paid for was roadside help.

  • Candace LeGrone

My honest truth at the jfk location. I’ve rented from them over 6 times each time is different usually different some people are friendly and very helpful some not. They cars do smell like smoke everyone that I’ve rented except 1. The shuttle part is horrible sometimes you wait 10 min sometimes 45 min. And that’s both ways. And the airport less than 15 min away. I communicated on my end letting them know I was in route and what time I needed a shuttle. Check all scratches before you leaves even with your own phone camera. Some of the seats have cigarette holes in them too. I hope things get better otherwise I’m about to start paying a few dollars more somewhere!

  • Exploring Amazing America

Worst worst worst experience. We booked a car at fox car rental, rent a car at JFK, New York . The moment we went for the pickup. There were two men at the counter. They both don’t know there work atoll. First they ask us to wait and took somebody else before us. Although we were there first. Thn after more of waiting time they denied for the car and cancelled. And they were very rude. Pls don’t waste ur time with this company. This fox car jfk one specially. The two men at night shift are so bad with there work. Although the customer service sent us a sorry mail and everything. But due to this we had to cancel a family outing plan. So beware of this company.

  • hardik kadia

I have made reservation thru priceline and my insurance company cover full 12 passenger van under my policy and top of that i have called my insurance company front of the representative of fox rental company to make sure me and van are fully covered. Onece he is agreeing with situations and top of that he still wants me to pay $400 extra. Meanwhile reservation has unlimited miles but they still wants me to pay $40 extra a day for mileage. I understand that you don't offer unlimited miles but when you gets booked from third party please let customers know and top of that to me they are lying for everything. Stay away from them.

  • Christina R.

I am currently battling with Fox to cancel and REFUND my current reservation because my flights were changed and I will no longer be picking a rental up from the location listed at booking. I have been given the run around and told that they need proof that the flights changed (why? No idea shouldn't even matter) We sent them this proof and they still denied refunding us. I am still fighting with them because I will not be robbed of $400 for something we will never even pick up. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! Enterprise and Hertz are far more professional and ethical. I will be filing a law suit if they continue to refuse to refund my money.

  • Tracy Boyd

Run---This was a horrible experience run!!! The representative is worried about upselling everything!! I said no thank you and I was criticized for looking over my bill. I asked to see what I had to sign on a credit card machine and was told it is standard. I could even see the wording. Then told car outside 4 runner. After attempting to start the two vehicles right outside the door. Neither started. My rental as at the other end of the parking lot. He had no idea what color and laughed at me when I returned inside and asked for help. I had just had surgery and was limited with my suitcase . He then said oh you can cancel. Horrific

I was impressed with the level of service provided to me by Robert at Fox Rent a car. After having read all of the negative reviews I was very concerned and apprehensive about renting from this company, but I disregarded it and chose to go through with the rental anyways. I was greeted and taken care of pretty fast. The customer service agent named Robert was very friendly and informative. The car was a good car which did have some markings on, but it was noted on the agreement. I would definitely recommend this rental company again as my experience with them was pretty good. Thank you for making my trip enjoyable! ;-)

  • neil katz

This company will try to take advantage of you and rip you off in any way possible. We got an old car with 63,000 miles on it and our phone didn't even plug into the audio system. They snuck in extra charges, the car was dirty, luckily we got the last car in the lot (at 1130 in the morning) because if we had shown up even a few minutes later there would have been no vehicles left, we got the last one of the day. Not sure what all of those people on line behind us were going to do when they found that out. Plus, the car was dirty when we got it and when we returned it they tacked on an extra $100 fee for who knows what.

  • Mackenzie Dawson

RENTER BEWARE. They make a ton of promises and don’t keep them. The man at the counter in FLL was wonderful but he promised me the $150 would come off immediately after I returned the car. It’s a week later and I had to submit an inquiry online to get the deposit back and they said something about my original payment didn’t cover the rental entirely so they are only refunding $23 of my $150 rental. This is absolutely Unacceptable and just another predatory sales tactic. Will pay the extra for a better known rental service next time since what you see is obviously not what you get with Fox. Absolutely disgusted.

  • Mary Ravo

Rented a car from Fox rentals this month at Tampa,Fla airport. Had to return earlier than expected. Contacted Fox re: early return penalty fees. Received a phone call( not email ) from a wonderful employee of Fox named Chad ? . He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He made my return home so much less stressful and the the return was handled in an efficient and quick manner. Although I did not have a chance to meet Chad I want you to know that he should be a very valued employee. I will use Fox rental going forward based on this experience alone! Thank you! Felt like a person, not a business transaction.

  • Love InD’Air

Renting with Fox was amazing, great experience, no extra chargers for nonsense things. The car was in an excellent conditions, they charged me what they told at the time of the rent and the deposit returned to my account quickly. The price for was that I could not believe it was true. I was so distrustful about the price that I deposited-extra money in my account, just in case. Five days later all my money was there, including my deposit except for the money they told me will cost for the days I was using the car. It was amazing and real chip. Thank you to the staffs for the great service.

  • TAREK MANSOUR

Please please please do yourself a favor and don’t rent from this company. I rented a car with total fees of 66 dollars they kept manipulating and force fees on me and asked to put a hold on may card of 13k or pay extra money. If you refuse insurance they charge you 8 dollars a day if you want to put on your card they charge your card 13k I ended up paying 180 instead of 66 USD although the rental was final. Also you will waits for an hour to get the car. When I wanted to return the car they wanted to charge me for old damage on the car. Thank god I took a video of the car before I pick it up

  • Jeffrey Gill

Do not rent from Fox Rental Car. Initially quoted about $260 for a 5 day trip. Was billed $616 after was all said and done. Was given the impression that I was opting out of insurance when I was just opting for the lowest rate they offered. Charge you $12.00 a day to have the ability to use a toll pass. Customer service's answer to the issue was that I signed off on the contract and I was responsible. National average for one week for a car rental is around $460. Fox is supposed to be one of the cheaper options. Hidden fees were over double the price of the original quote. Beware

  • Alex Sanborn

Do not rent from this group. I made a reservation for 10am, flew in on a slightly delayed flight and arrived on site at 12:20 and they told me that they had cancelled my reservation and had no cars available to me to rent. They said that I should have read my rental agreement, that they can only hold my reservation for 2 hours and then after that it is automatically cancelled. They literally had hundreds of cars in their parking lot but still managed to not be able to have a rental car for me. Their site is disgusting and the staff is rude and unaccommodating.

  • Mitzi Torres

Easy going staff, very helpful. Great fleet selection. Local, so very efficient and no need to go into airport and deal with all the germs. Cars clean, ride great, and customer service by phone also fast and efficient. Highly recommended. Every time i have come to rent a car i have had nothing but a remarkable experience. At the moment, I would like to thank Fred, whom is the most amazing representative I have ever dealt with. I will forward to this to your corporate office as well so they are aware of how amazing the experience and staff are.

  • Tanasia Alston

The sales person was nice. I just won't be renting for this company no more. I rented a minivan with unlimited miles, and it was 200 plus 200 for the deposit. Once I get to fox rental I'm told because I got a mini van it's not unlimited miles but I can choose another vehicle for a upcharge and get unlimited miles. The company is very misleading make sure you have a credit card with at least a 1000 or more spending limit before renting from this company. The staff is great but the company is misleading. Don't rent from this company

  • Larry Laskin

If I could give them zero starts I would! They are the worst car company I have ever used. When my wife and I arrived at the Tampa airport, it literally took 2 1/2 hours to get a car. Terribly slow service. Then the rep told me that I need to pay $12 daily for the tolls as you cannot pay at the toll booths, which is a lie. Most of them do accept either cash or credit cards. When I received my credit card statement, they overcharged me by $150, then added a second charge for a smaller amount. Stay as far away from them as you can!

  • Raquel Scarpari

We had the worst experience. It took us almost 1 hour to get our car. The line was huge and slow, the staff was super rude and the car was dirty. And at the end, they charged for a full tank of gas (when the tank was already filled) and some extra fees. We ended up paying almost the double than the predicted amount and much more than we would pay to other rental companies. We called them and had to wait 35 minutes on the phone to be able to talk to someone that did not solve their problem. Dont lose your time and your money.

  • Laurel Rodriguez

Thought this was an affordable rental car company, but once you get to the counter, the added insurance, mileage fees and additional driver costs would have made this more expensive than other rentals, like Enterprise that I priced out for comparison. Also, this location is in a very remote area off the side of the highway. Just go with the regular rental car companies (Enterprise, Hertz, Alamo, Dollar, Etc by the airport) and get the better customer service and no hidden fees that come with it. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  • R Callahra

I waited an hour in line to check in at Phoenix Intl. AIrport. Rep was Cynthia. I rented a car and was charged 14.50 / day for Rental Liability Insurance. When I was checking in, I declined the insurance because I am covered by my own company. Turns out, I was charged this. I was asked to initial several boxes without explanation or time to read (my fault on this but I was tired of waiting and just wanted the car) BUT....I specifically told the rep NO and assumed I would not be charged. BE VERY CAREFUL

  • Charleen Belco

I rented a car from fox in Arizona I was told to buy gas from them but to fill it . I was on empty in a place I visited so I put 50$ in the tank and I got charged on my credit card after returning the vehicle for $134.96 for $14.00 worth of gas. The customer service rep stated I signed the paperwork so I should not of put gas in the car. Being women in an unknown area OK so run out of gas and don’t put gas in the car then charge the customer 134.96 REALLY terrible never again don’t use them rip offs

  • Maureen Nowak-Wakeling

We booked thru Expedia for a rental car and said due at desk 395.66 well our bill from Fox Rental is 692.65. When we went to pick up rental it was a 2 hour wait system kept going down. I don't even think this company is real it's a scam. I called and they don't have anyone employees working in the United States. When we rented the car the agent only explained two added items on to the car not 692.65 I would never book thru Expedia or rent from Fox Rent a car. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

  • Anthony Wong (Dekugoku117)

When arrive upon the destination of the rental, myself and sister was worried that we would not be able to pick up car but Akbarjon keep us calm that we would be able to pick up the car. It was my sister who had the rental in her name and the agent gave us many great choices of vehicles. The agent also talk to use about cars and insurance, I must say that a agent that cares about the customer is 100% in my favor so thank you Akbarjon for providing excellent customer service .

  • Denise Gambino

Fox Rent A Car is the worst car rental I have ever used. DO NOT USE THEM! They have a NO CANCEL policy. NO CANCELLATIONS WHATSOEVER! I booked a car BY MISTAKE on my phone and called them right away and they WOULD NOT refund me my money. The manager was rude and kept telling me there was nothing they could do and pretty much hung up on me. I will never use them again. Anyone who is reading this review should take my advice and stay clear of Fox Rent a Car!

  • Jessica Marte

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Dropped off the rental vehicle on the 16th at 9am at FLL and asked the attendant for a receipt, she claimed it would be emailed to me. On the 19th I received an email stating my car was checked in 1:15 that morning. They then proceeded to charge me for the “extra days” in which they had possession of the vehicle. Called customer service and I’m still waiting for a refund and my deposit to be returned. What a scam

  • Lorraine Gomez

These guys are crooks, if I can give them negative 0 stars I would. They charged me 15$ plus the toll fee for every toll I passed. They said because I refused their unlimited $50 EZ Pass. Of course I refused why would I pay $50.00 if i know the tolls in my city will not exceed 8$, but did not explain if I don't use the unlimited this is what would happen. Their horrible do not rent from them!!! BEWARE!!! and their cars are old and filthy!!! HATEM!!!

  • Karina Elizalde

Well started by getting a rental that I already had reserved. The first one Well the 1st one was a Nissan Versa. Which I was completely unsafe to drive, while I was on the stop red light was shaking and then when was trying to go in the highway at least 50 miles was shaking. So I returned it. I got a second choice a Mitsubishi.!! Is OK 1 complaint who ever rented this car before me had a smoke party on his one. Smells like a pot head!! Never again.

  • Коля Подвигов

Fox Rent a Car seemed fine at first. A little cumbersome to get the car, but it worked out. After returning the vehicle, however, and speaking to an attendant, I thought everything was clear. Later I get a bill showing an extra two days of charges. Seemingly no one had bothered to check in my car when I returned it and charged me for their delay. Attempts to get my money back have been thwarted by bad customer service. Very untrustworthy company.

  • MIssingLInk Bill

BEWARE - had the worst experience ever through Priceline with this company. Waited 2 hours at Denver airport - finally manager said they didn't have any cars. Worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. Short staffed, no communication - and no cars (without telling us)! Please avoid this company at all costs. Price is less than others - bot NOT worth it. Take my word for it - go elsewhere. if I could give negative stars I would.

  • Jennifer Tomlinson

After confirming a car for $129 with Expedia, Fox charged an additional $50 for absurd fees (privilege fee?)that my elderly parents were unsure of and thought they needed to pay. When I called to dispute the rude response was, “Well, we have a signed agreement.” They should be ashamed of themselves being pushy and fraudulent with the elderly. Well worth paying what seems like a little extra for a reputable company Never book with fox

  • DaveandTrisha Sebring FL

I rented a vehicle from Fox and opted into their prepay toll option. My own fault, I assumed the agent was competent and drive thru 2 different tolls as I expected it was paid. After my trip, I got 2 bills for the tolls (1.50 each) but an “administrative fee” of $30. Online, I found they were previously sued, albeit unsuccessfully, for such a practice but will NEVER rent from FOX again and suggest no one else do so either…. CROOKS!!

  • Lori Alper

Rented a car at the Salt Lake location. Service was fine but the car was horrible. It was an old- very old and used- Dodge Caravan. It had 75,000 miles on it and did not operate well in the snow. The treads on the tires were worn and useless. The rental was no bargain and felt very unsafe. I did reach out to the company with my concerns/complaints and did not hear back. Would not recommend this company.

  • Sherry Preece

Rented a car at Fort Lauderdale Airport. The check in was a nightmare and took over 30 minutes as the guy took a lot of time with the people before us and kept trying to add on things with our rental. The SUV we received was filthy inside with food and stuff in the back seat area and very apparent it was not cleaned prior to our use. I will say the drop off was much better and took only a few minutes.

  • Ernie E

I mistakenly gave Fox car rental 5 star, I meant to give them -5 stars. They should Change the name to Rent a Junk, their cars are the oldest and smelliest cars . I renred out and old Toyota Camry that looked like like a retired NYC livery cab! The worst part is that I paid for a old smelly car as much or more than I would have paid at a Hertz , Alamo or any other well known rental car places.

  • Ryan Smith

Horrible experience! The first car they gave me was damaged…they told me I should take anyway with tire grade light on. I was diagnosed with COVID and they told me they would charge me $500 to pick the car up from Manhattan, I ended up calling another towing agency to return the car safely. They didn’t mark the car as returned for two days after they received it.

  • Debbie Lee

My experience with Fox was extremely poor. I clearly turned down rental insurance but was billed for it and was charged AFTER I returned the car. Fox refused to refund this charge I never wanted, only giving store credit to a company I never want to use again because of this terrible customer service. Other customers, be wary of this scam-like charging!

  • Katelyn Unterborn

DO NOT RENT FROM FOX. the cost of our car was DOUBLE the cost of what we initially agreed to. There are LOTS of hidden fees and they don’t charge you until after your trip. We were also double charged for our rental and it was a battle to get our money back. Their customer service is terrible. Don’t bother with their phone number. It’s a circular menu.

  • claire bear

Terrible experience. The car a prepaid for wasn't ready when I went. I called the company prior to renting the car because my flight coming in earlier. I wasn't allowed to cancel my reservation. They upcharged me for a car I didn't want. Put extras on my rental agreement without telling me. Worst place to rent a car from. Will never go back.

  • Hans Wurst2

Very convenient place to rent a car. A short bus ride (free) from the terminals and each car rental desk is clearly marked. Walk outside into the garage, grab your car and go. Returning the car is easy with a gas station a few blocks from the ramp. You return your car, then hop on the shuttle to the terminals. Couldn't be easier.

  • Gregg Harris

Ft Lauderdale customer service are scammers. They forced me to pay 13.99 for sunpass for the week. Turns out that Publix, Walmart and many other stores sell the sunpass for $5.00 . Scumbag!! Then the same scammer tries to upsell me on the rental, knowing he had non of what I rented left anyway. SCUMBAGS

  • AnneMarie Bairstow

I rented a car at LAX, prepaid with Expedia. When I returned the car, they added on $97 in additional fees with no explanation. I called and no one can explain the fees, I have to wait until the billing department is open. I also waited 15 minutes in line at the lot entrance to return the car.

  • Michel Salomon (KOQ Entertainment)

Only thing good is that it is cheap. My issue is they charged me for a toll fee that is twice the toll. Rental Car companies should not charge extra fees for tolls. I will definitely go to my local representative to push that a law be made against these types of predatory services.

  • Patty Haley

Wow!, such a good experience renting from them! Had a midsize for 8 day rental. Great prices! Experienced no problems what-so-ever! Had free shuttle service from, and to JFK Airport! My deposit was released back to me in a very timely manner! Would rent from then again!

  • Deanna Verenich

Dropped off the car with nearly a full tank and get charged for 23 gallons of gas. Then extra surcharge was charged that we never spoke or agreed on. Scammers just try to take as much as they could from you. Go to another car rental place. Never again.

  • Dan Bobear

Rented a car with Fox and they essentially took the money. Had a flight cancelled due to weather. They wouldn’t hold car for 24 hours even if I paid for it. They wouldn’t rebook me and wouldn’t refund me. You wonder why your rating is 1.9! That’s why.

  • Nancy Putman

Fox car rental in Denver provided a very economical and professional service. We had to wait a bit longer to get picked up at the airport than the larger car rental businesses, but we saved almost $400 on our car. I would definitely use them again.

Great service and super friendly staff! If from la to jfk and straight away to fox and upstate and back and so sweet and attentive! I highly recommend this underdog in the industry! Be ready to be treated like a VIP! Thank Eze and Sean and staff!!

SCAM! Please, do not rent from here. I do not typically leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn people of this place. By far the worst rental experience I have ever had. Terrible customer service and terrible vehicle that had multiple issues.

Very unprofessional! Paid for an Uber to get there and had to take one back. They waited for me to get there to tell me they canceled my booking while lying about contacting me prior. You guys are the worst! Corporate will be contacted.
