"I loved going to this place in-person"
"Such an amazing time here! Super comfy, clean, cute space with really friendly staff and a wonderful book selection! Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area if they want to check out the best Black owned women’s bookstore! Also it’s right near the Expo which is so nice if you don’t have a car!"
"I had no idea this jewel was located in my neighborhood! Seeing this gem nestled in a historically afrocentric neighborhood rebuilt my faith to end erasure of an area known for its rich black culture"
"The Reparations Club is amazing"
I love this bookstore. The community space is beautiful and it’s such a warm environment. Jazzi is so kind and welcoming!! Support Black women owned biz! Everyone who works there is amazing. I don’t live in LA anymore but I still buy online and even request titles they don’t have since they offer and they’ve never disappointed. …
I loved going to this place in-person. Now that that's not a thing, I tried ordering from them online. I ordered a book at 11PM, and even though I entered the wrong address (like a dummy) they delivered the book to me by 4PM the next day!!!! Amazon could NEVER and Reparations Club will be my bookseller from here on out!

I had no idea this jewel was located in my neighborhood! Seeing this gem nestled in a historically afrocentric neighborhood rebuilt my faith to end erasure of an area known for its rich black culture. I applaud the owner for creating a space for all black books, music, and peace! Thank you!
The Reparations Club is amazing. The set up, the decor, the overall vibe and especially the owner Jazzi. Booked the Rep Club to host an event and she was such a gracious and accommodating hostess. Everyone who attended the event loved it there. Thank you Jazzi
I ordered two books from this store and received them promptly, carefully packed, and with a hand written note. I'm delighted to buy from this store and looking forward to the day I get to browse in person. This store stands for everything I want to support.
Inviting atmosphere. Wide selection of African-American current young adult, children's, fiction and non-fictional text for adults too. Reparations is the "candy store" for those who love reading. The staff is helpful and friendly, thanks for everything.
Fun and welcoming space with a great selection of BIPOC authors and even a small vinyl record section up front. Tamika was very helpful and gave great recommendations. I heard great things about this place online and it definitely lives up to the hype!

Wonderful selection of books by black authors for every age range. There’s a great hangout area for reading and working. I was also pleasantly surprised to find some very cute earrings here as well.
