When I saw water leaking from my garage wall, I called RPS. Unlike the other plumbers that I had contacted, RPS made no excuses about being busy / short-staffed / etc. They sent Tim Vu out to my house, and as promised, he arrived within 30 minutes. In about 7 minutes of his arrival, Tim diagnosed the problem, found the root cause (water heater), and mitigated the problem. A day later, he completed replacing my water heater. However, that is not all! While he was working on the water heater, I requested him to replace a toilet that was leaking water from the tank. This one was a bit of a challenge because there is a counter above the toilet tank, so only toilets below a certain height fit there. Tim gladly agreed to the extra work (after, of course, consulting with his team), and took it upon himself to find a new toilet of the proper size. He found one on the same day, and he brought it in and installed it. While it fit very well, unfortunately, it was one of those ones with the flush button on the top of the tank, so reaching the flush button was difficult (due to the counter right above it). Tim was not one to be defeated, so he shopped around some more, found one that is far more usable, and replaced the earlier toilet. He did it all within about two days. Throughout the repair work, Tim was patient with me, and answered all my questions.

I called R.P.S. Ribbs Premier because I needed a second opinion on a plumbing estimate for broken pipes which caused water damage in my home. From Sarah in the office to Thomas and Jonathan who came to my home, they were friendly, professional, helpful and informative. They examined the area in question in detail and provided a clear estimate with two different options. They left me with a brochure (and Jonathan took the time to quickly review it with me) and a business card as well. I would recommend R.P.S. Ribbs Premier without hesitation. After this initial visit, we hired RPS to complete our plumbing repair after other companies failed to come or would not come out to make an estimate or look at the job. This is my third time using R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services. I had a leak from my upstairs bathtub and sent in a request through Thumbtack on Christmas Eve. As expected from past experience, they were very responsive and gave me an appointment on Monday after Christmas. The technician, David, arrived on time and fully explained what he needed to do to diagnose the problem before and during troubleshooting. Once he located the source of the leak, he got me a quote on the repair. Due to the holiday, no plumbing supply stores were open, so he gave me an appointment for the very next morning. Another technician, also named David and his assistant arrived and, again, were very courteous, explaining their progress at various points during the repair, including dealing with having to go out and buy a part the plumbing supply had omitted from the kit. Once they completed the repair, they performed a test it to make sure there were no more leaks and instructed me to allow the supplemental caulking in the shower to fully cure for a few hours before using the shower. R.P.S. Ribbs provides quality service at a fair price and all the technicians I have dealt with the three times I have used them have provided outstanding customer service. I will continue to use R.P.S. for all my plumbing needs!

Tim Vu was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was going to do, and took pictures of fixtures before and after work was done. We detected a leak in our main water service connection and RPS plumbing were quick to respond and do a preliminary evaluation and propose a fix. I'm a 4 out of 5 stars as I would have liked to have seen an itemized estimate, breaking the estimated cost across materials and labor, this was even not available at the time of making final payment. This is why I can't check the "Good Value" box as I've yet to see how costs were broken down. Our yard is a heavy clay soil and weeks of rain meant the team were working in horrendous conditions but they maintained a great spirit and remained professional. They got the job done quickly and cleanly and did the best job you could with the conditions present. If you need quick, friendly, professional work done I'd recommend calling RPS Plumbing. My advice to the company is to invest in some equipment that can help your teams deal with almost surface level water tables and enable working on wet yards without ripping them up so much, hessian sacking or something similar.

Horrible experience - very dishonest business practices. I had a main line blockage and called their technician over. The technician came on time and seemed interested in solving the problem. But as soon as he took a look at the clean-out, he said he would need to replace the clean-out in my house to clear the blockage because the clean-out was "too narrow" for the cable machine to go in. He gave me a quote for 1700$ and half-a-day of work for a minor block!! I called another friend of mine who was a plumber and he used a smaller cable machine to clear the block in 5 minutes and charged me 300$. Needless to say, I will be staying away from RPS in the future.

RPS said they did drainage. When I asked for a bid, then a down spout and subdrain were 'outside their scope of work.' Tell people initially on the phone that you only install faucets, don't waste their time on site as well. Reply Attn owner: Please get your facts straight! I said I reached out to twenty, two replied with reasonable bids, and the other eighteen wanted to do landscaping as well...all told me on the phone up front (didn't waste my time showing them, discussing, so forth.) It's ok if the experience isn't there, but making excuses instead of just saying so is just unprofessional. I hope better choices can be made going forward.

I booked an appointment online to repair my water heater. . Had a small issue with overbooking on googles part. But they made it happen. Sara, who runs the office did her best to get a technician to my home even though they were booked solid. Tim called me to try to evaluate or fix the problem verbally. Then came Jonathan..... he showed up, explained the problem, gave me options, and did the work I requested. He was fast , efficient, and super professional!!!! He got our hot water up and running!! This experience was one of the best home repair, upgrade projects we have had. David and his crew were very positive, professional and respectful of my home and family. David came with his apprentice, Lau, within 2 hours of calling and promptly diagnosed the cause of a problem that had stumped several plumbers and handymen that I had consulted since the problem first appeared about 15 years ago! AND he fixed the current main problem that I was calling him for (no hot water in the shower). These guys are awesome. I had a botched project from a previous general contractor and so I gave these guys a call and they came out on quite short notice. They were very prompt and professional. They evaluated the work and redid the project. It both looks tremendously better and there is no longer dangerous tension on the plumbing lines. I stepped into the garage today and smelled gas coming out of the water heater. I called RPS and in less than an hour Tim showed up at our place. Within 10 min he had diagnosed where the leak was, determined the parts he would need and provided an estimate for the cost of repairs. Angel came to my house to dianose why the water heater was not working. He quickly determined that the thrmo couple had failed and also noted that the relief valve was leaking. Because the unit was still under warrantee, assisted me in getting the right parts ordered. After I received the parts via FedEx, Angel returned and installed the new parts. The water heater is working good once again. Angel was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and cleaned up very well when he finished his work. I would recommend Angel whenever he is available.

I needed to have a new toilet installed and the plumbing supplier recommended Ribbs. I called and got a live person right away which is not very common these days. I described the job and toilet type and was given a quote that sounded fair. I scheduled the installation and Angel came out exactly at the appointment time. Excellent service. This is the second time I have used this company. Johnathan and Thomas did a great job quoting and installing a water softener I had purchased from Amazon into my home that hadn't had a softener system previously. They ran dedicated water lines through the crawlspace to my hose outputs and irrigation lines and installed the system and drainage line in a way that worked best with my needs and the layout of the house. Overall they were very professional, kept me in the loop with the activity going on, and did high quality work. Will be using them again for anything I need!

Thomas and his team rerouted and solved leaky gas line problem for our outdoor backyard project. He recommended to add separate shutoff valves for the grill and the fireplace, which has turned out to be a great solution for us to control the gas flow. Despite challenges with the rain, the team pulled through and finished on time. The work was high quality and professional. The cleanup was also fantastic. They pressure-washed our glass doors to get rid of the debris from cement drilling. I highly recommend their services!

Jonathan of RPS did an excellent job in fixing our kitchen and laundry drain leak. He carefully explained what the problem was and what needed to be done. He provided pictures and even a video of the crawl space where the leak was. He communicated with us very well answering all our questions in a timely manner. My kitchen sink faucet wouldn't stop dripping so I called Ribbs to come check it out. Tim came to help us and he got there at the time he said. He was friendly and helpful in explaining the issue. Jonathan was the consummate professional. Showed up just before the midpoint of the appointment window and got right to work, keeping me informed along the way. We wanted to do water re-pipe, and I was calling plumbers to get house inspected. R.P.S charge $49 for coming over and inspect, while lot many do not. From reviews R.P.S looked good, and I thought to get quote and hand them over job. Plumber came over. Rather than inspecting the house professionally he simply kept saying three words -- "This is weird" . He didn't want to go into crawl space, didn't want to do any "real" inspection. Please avoid inspection from this company.

Contacted David N. in the morning and within 30 minutes Joseph S. was at the house assessing the problem. David went the extra mile today and replaced recalled (defective, recycled ABS), installed in an earlier "upgrade" by the previous homeowner. Working in a wet, very cramped crawl space, he cut out the old pipe, installed new ABS, and had me test it before departing. He also took extra time to help troubleshoot a possible greywater leak, separate from the sewer line repair. Great attitude, a confident and hard-working young man.

Replaced my kitchen sink great but failed on the toilet. Asked to replace the supply hose which they did, after a trip to the store. When replaced, told me that he needed to replace a flapper and another trip to the store for another $89 service charge. I could have put in a new toilet for that price. Flapper is still defective, toilet draining. YouTube can figure out the 2$ product install this weekend.

We were in need of an emergency gas line repair and Ribbs Premier Services was perfect for the job. They came out in a timely fashion and did a great job communicating on arrival times. They did everything they said they would, on time and passed inspection. The five days they were here, they cleaned up after themselves every day...did my entire house in 5 days...took 3 weeks to get the city. Tim came out within the appointed time for a water heater flush. Quoted a price, I gave him a coupon, and he proceeded to flush and inspect the water heater. Done within an hour and he advised me to wait about 45 mins. to 1 hr. for water temperature to be nominal. Very efficient and professional.

My house is old and had a lot of original plumbing. Tim has come out twice now for different projects. He thoroughly explains the problem and what he'll do to fix it. He's quick and efficient. The prices are decent compared to other plumbers. His work is solid and better than the other plumbers.

Tim, their service plummer was very professional. He kept me aware of everything he was going to do. Our fireplace valve was replaced and moved to the outside of the fireplace. He also installed a new burner. He tested everything and made sure there was no longer any gas leakage.
