I’ve seen Rich food all over my Facebook and I couldn’t wait to come to Jacksonville and try it. I called to place my order to go and he asked me to text it. He was extremely professional on the phone and in person but I wasn’t a fan of texting my order(not the most professional way to take an order). I asked a lot of questions and he answered them all without being offended. I was offered a sample of the tuna w/o even asking for it, which was good and I ended up purchasing. Rich even let me taste the apple pie dessert and said I didn’t have to buy it if I didn’t like it. I thought was nice and I purchased it even though I’m not a fan of sweets. After checking my (text) order I realized a mistake on the wing sauce and he corrected it and allowed me to keep the other order. I’ve been at large chain restaurants and they will ask for the wrong order back before they allow you to keep it. My fav as the “rich sauce” wings and the macaroni. My mom said the lemon pepper wings was 6/10 because it was a little too dry for her even with the request of them being “wet”. Overall the customer service took it from a 4/5 to a 5/5. I will try other menu items when I come back.

I was so happy to see this soul food truck in our neighborhood last week. ( Corner of Fouracre & Herlong Rd.) Stopped and had a great dinner. Some of the best shrimp & Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be back. Yum

Black Owned Establishment!! Friendly Customer Service! Hot Food with great rich taste so I see why it's called Rich Taste The Mac n cheese may be the best I have tasted here. We had a shrimp plate, peach cobbler, 2 lemonade, and shrimp dinner for $42. It's a Lil pricy but worth it. My kids loved the Cajun rice too...it unique eith yellow rice. Support support support. Get early before desserts run out tho.

Incredible soul food with really amazing customer service. We stopped through on our way down from North Carolina and the owner sent us the menu via text, let us place our order ahead of time, and had our food ready upon arrival. If you’re wondering what to order, the jerk salmon with Mac n cheese and collards knocked it out of the park. The salmon was zingy and well seasoned and the macaroni was creamy with a magical, thick crust of cheese on top. There’s also a fun lineup of desserts, including banana pudding and sweet potato pie.

10/10 great food, swift service! Rich taste is a perfect place to eat; when you’re in a rush and need a great meal. As an establishment they are extremely accommodating.

HIGHLY recommend any catering from them!! Booking was easy and fast, perfect costumer service from beginning to end and They were right on time to the very minute we requested. Today was hubby and I 1st time eating here. I had the crab cake dinner and he had the turkey wing dinner. The crab cakes wasn't home made mostly stuffing with strings of crab meat. Very disappointing..Hubby turkey wings was luke warm and cold in some spots but with great flavor. .the okra was fresh and fried great but no flavor. The green beans and rice was good.
