I recently visited Risas Dentist for a procedure and would like to share my experience. The dentist who attended to me was exceptional in his skills and professionalism. He displayed remarkable expertise and care during the procedure, ensuring my comfort throughout. His approach not only reflects high standards in dental practice but also a genuine concern for patient well-being. However, my interaction with the front office staff was not as pleasant. While they were efficient in their duties, a more welcoming and friendly attitude would significantly enhance the overall patient experience. Their approach felt somewhat impersonal, which might be an area for improvement. I understand the dentist who treated me might be from a different office. His outstanding service would be a primary reason for my return. In summary, while the clinical aspect of my visit was excellent, a more cordial front office would make Risas Dentist a top choice for dental care.

I am not going back to this place!!! I went in because of a tooth ache. They did X-rays and they said I needed a root canal. Went in different day to have the root canal done and the dentist burned my upper lip! I felt it even though my mouth was numb! I was scheduled for a cleaning the following week but I cancelled because my lip was still hurting from the burn and I told the assistant that called me so. Went it to get my permanent crown, no apology! Instead the dentist told me I should get all my cleaning done. Not know what that entailed I said “Sure” he then proceeded to numb MY WHOLE MOUTH! It was May Anniversary that day and I had dinner plans :( After an hour and a half of cleaning, they told me I was done and told me I can go! Came outside and could taste blood! I started spitting out blood. My whole mouth was still numb, they didn’t even give me water to rinse my mouth! Nothing! It was horrible!!! Won’t go back!

I highly recommend this company and this location. The staff greets you immediately as you walk in and always make sure to offer free water bottles and candy while you wait. Their front office really treat you like family. Every time I come in I get to talk to Sabrina, one of the secretary’s. she make it really easy to set up a appointment and explains to me what the whole process is going to be like before I see the dentist. She really takes her time to answer any questions and make sure I understand what’s going to be done to make it easier for the dentist. Plus she always ask if i want her to play a certain song in the overhead. My dentist is great. Dr G Really makes the whole procedure as enjoyable as possible. He shows really great professionalism while still keeping you relax. He does really good work. My teeth are always super white and healthy looking when I leave. A++ for this office.

This place is great! They were very nice, professional and helpful. Regardless of your financial situation, they will do everything they can to work with you so you can get the dental care you need. The dentist made sure he took care of my issues and made sure that all the work he did was covered by my Medicaid so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. He didn't judge me and didn't make me feel sort of way about the poor condition of some of my teeth that were damaged by impacted wisdom teeth. And even though I had some serious work done that day, I left there with no pain, was able to drive myself home and healed without any issues. I would definitely, definitely recommend checking this place out to anyone.

I had a core build up, root canal extraction and a crown done by Dr. Andrew T Weir and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He is an excellent dentist who cares about his patients and makes sure they are comfortable and informed throughout the whole process. His staff is friendly, professional and attentive to my needs. The office is clean, modern and equipped with the latest technology. The prices are affordable and they are flexible with appointments. I had an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend this place for your dental treatments. Thank you Dr. Weir and team for giving me a beautiful smile! I went to risas south mountain today I didn't know what to expect but I am very thankful for them. Dr.Weir saw me and he is a very kind professional dentist made me feel safe and at peace. You can right away tell he is a very nice humble person. I had some dental treatment done today when he numbed me I didnt even feel it. His assistant Blanca was very fun and nice. His assistant Beatriz helped take my x-rays she too was very fun and nice. Also thank you to Elvia front office lady. Thank you risas for helping me be pain free. Special shout-out to south mountain risas you guys are awesome. Found my new dental home.

They can do a better job training their workers on customer service and phone etiquette. You’d think they’ll call back after a dropped call but clearly they could care less if you called or not. Go in on time for your appointment and you’ll still wait longer than usual to be seen. It’s definitely different from what I’m used to. I’ll be visiting a different dental office. Don’t bother responding to the same lame send us an email blah blah blah because clearly issues are not being resolved looking at the reviews.

So happy I found this place so close to home. The girls at the front desk are all wonderful and respectful, prices are very affordable and all of the staff always help you in any way they can. They make you feel comfortable and at home. I been with them for almost two years and never had any issues, because of them I’m gaining confidence in my smile. Thank you to all the doctors, their pacesetter and staff for welcoming me with open arms, I would definitely recommend Risas Dental to all my friends and family.

I needed a lot of dental work done. Dr. Weir and the assistants were very polite, understanding and made me feel a lot less embarrassed and ashamed about it. They completed a lot of the work in a small amount of time and scheduled the procedures to where I would have breaks in between to avoid too much pain. The billing team was great with working out an affordable payment arrangement. It does get busy and sometimes I have to wait, but the customer service and dental work itself is the best I’ve had.

The dentist my son sees here is nice, informative. Some of the staff is short and rude. The wait is ridiculous, you get there 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment and they see you about 45 minutes to an hour later because, "we're running a little behind". Which is what they always say, however people who get there after you do get seen before you. I would recommend solely based on the dentist. But because of the other reasons, I will be taking my business elsewhere!!

I was very impressed by Dr.Smith and Beatrice . From the very beginning of my visit till the end , they made me feel like I was a priority and made sure that my needs so far have been met. I went in for a cleaning and filling and say they have changed my life. I cried because of how great the outcome has been. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone! The prices are great and they work with you. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you again !!

I found them as I was disappointed and robbed by Espen dental who did not cure my toothache and instead billed my for a huge money. I then found Risas at 16th street & Southern. As I visited, Dr. Millet made a correct diagnosis and together with Estefania, the dental assistant performed a successful root canal. The whole procedure we painless. I am so thankful to Risas for their outstanding treatment, professionalism and reasonable billing. I would highly recommend them.

I’m always amazed at how easy of an experience going here is. I have always had teeth issues and trust me when I say that Dr. Groscost know exactly what he is doing! He is very efficient and as painless as you could hope for and simply makes the entire experience as pleasant and easygoing as it could be. Shout out also to the dental assistant Bianca who was very friendly and helped clarify things beautifully as well as help ensure a comfortable experience

I came to the Labor of Love event and got my free dental cleaning done by Beatriz and got to chat with Dr Milde who took care of my braces and got them off a few months ago. Very nice to catch up with him and be serviced today. The event was free for the basic cleaning I got. Beatriz did an amazing job today, she answered all of my questions, I sure did ask a lot!!! Overall great experience at Risas Dental!!! Everyone is always so kind and helpful!

Brought my daughter last weekend for a check up and Dr Smith was super friendly and answered all my questions. The staff is also great, they make sure to acknowledge you the minute you walk in the door. They are also super fast and flexible with scheduling. My daughter will be getting braces within 1 week. During a pandemic it's all smiles! Every visit has been amazing at Risas "South Mountain". Dr. Smith and Dr. Weir are the best hands down! I was also assisted by their assistant Perla who provided some of the best customer service and patient services. All the assistants are amazing at this office. I love Risas! They are very flexible and affordable. The environment is one of high standards and I love when you can tell that someone is passionate about their Job. Dr. Weir is great and the assistants are very friendly especially Beatriz. She was very helpful and I love her sense of humor. I enjoyed just listening to her conversation with the Doc. I'd recommend this place to anyone for sure!

My family and I have been taking care of our oral hygiene and braces here for over 2 years. We are super happy, not one bad experience. The Doctors genuinely caring. It is also hard to come across front desk staff as polite as they always are in this office. Specially the young lady that checks you in Zulem she's is always so quick and nice when communicating in person and in the phone.

I came into Risas very nervous it’s been awhile since I’ve been to the dentist. Beatriz was my dental assistant and took care of me and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Smith was very nice and sweet!!! I’m very happy that they helped me get an appointment soon and started my braces the same day. Thank you Risas you guys are awesome!!!!! I’ll definitely refer friends and family.

Did not take time to go over my x-rays. Recommended what teeth need to be removed without explanation. Did not take careful attention to numb my tooth which was infected. Only applied pain relief to the outside of the gum area and not the inside. Tooth extraction was very very painful. No I'm experiencing TMJ. I NEVER HAD TMJ OR HAD THIS TYPE OF AMATEURISH DENTAL CARE.

If your time is important to you this is not the place. I made an appointment for 9am. I showed up before my appointment and sat until 9:35. When I called they said I should expect an hour. When I was there they told me they can not garuntee I would be out by 10. Just a disrespectful way to do business. The girl at the front desk was very polite and professional.

I had my first dental appointment at the Rises Dental office on 16th St and Southern Ave. The entire staff are very very nice and helpful. Dr. Weir and his assistant Carina took great care of me and set up my follow up appointment at a time that was most convenient for me. I would recommend this dental office to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit already.

I am just sad that I couldn’t finish my treatment at this clinic . The doctor and the staff were nice professional and very understanding. I will recommend this clinic with enthusiasm. I wish they had offices nationwide so that I wouldn’t have to cancel my treatment with them . I would like to take this moment and thank them all for everything.

The people at Risas are very kind and gentle when helping me through my appointment. Dr Wilde is the doctor that helped me and ask me questions like how my day was going. His assistant Lianna was very helpful and kind and she made me feel comfortable during my appointment. Overall the workers at Risas were very friendly and great at their job.

I recently got my braces here. The assistant Neftali did a wonderful job. She explained everything and helped calm me down as I was a bit nervous. Rieas Dental is affordable and understanding. Their staff is amazing and super sweet. Lianna is a great assistant she is very nice and funny which makes the visit more personal. Doctor Milde is really good as well. He always has a warm greeting and he is very informative. Definitely reccomend coming here especially for braces!

The people who work here were really nice! I was greeted when I walked in and offered a bottle of water. The exam room wasn't scaring at all. My Dr. Mr. Weir was really helpful and did a great job. His assistant Melissa was careful and engaging when she did my cleaning. I would definitely go here again and recommend to anyone!

As soon as I walked in as an emergency walk in, they took me back! And I was hoping to get Dr. Smith! Guess what? I did! I’m so thankful to have an amazing Dr!!! My visit while at this office has always been phenomenal. Dr. Milde is very thorough when explaining any concerns I may have. Maria is one of the assistants there and she has always been very sweet and attentive whenever I interact with her... I would definitely recommend visiting this location if you live in the area.

I came here on the 25th , I was in pain for three days I couldn't eat or sleep. no other dental office would help me. but here they did and I will say this place is the most kind , caring, dental office I been to. they care about how you feel and make you feel comfortable. I have been going here for my braces for a couple years now and they are very friendly and I have received great service. Maria is one of the assistants that’s helped me before and she is really friendly and helpful. And if you have any concerns they’ll help you fix that issue.

Very fast... and extremely rough. Caused more pain than he relieved. Said he would prescribe antibiotics, then never did. Cheap and fast, but a terrible experience.
