Sunday Funday did not disappoint. The Rita Deanin Abbey Museum is easily one of the greatest hidden gems in Las Vegas. Her artwork that is on display spans 50+ years. The art director, Laura has an intimate and impressive knowledge of each of Rita’s series and her stories only add to the experience. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll be blessed to meet Robert, Rita’s husband, a legend in his own right. Though Rita passed 2 years ago, her work is still celebrated in her museum and countless public and private collections across the world. Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of wine on your way to her museum (approved by Laura herself) and spend an hour or two wandering through her collection. Michelin rates thing as if they are worthy of a special trip, we have so much wonderful Land Art that are equal to that comment…worthy of a special trip. We also have a museum that is worthy of a special trip on the out skirts of Vegas. We visited the Rita Deanin Abbey Museum recently our entire team from InsideStyle went. We all were in awe of the experience. It was inspiring, hopeful and so powerful, the last time i felt so consumed by a Museum decorticated to an Artist was at the Joan Miró Museum in Barcelona Spain. The colors the different techniques, mediums it was truly a wonderful way to end a work day before the holidays. The Rita Abbey Museum is a place worthy of a special visit if you are looking to be inspired.

My wife and I love living in Las Vegas but have always been disappointed with the lack of museums…then we discovered the Rita Denean Abbey Museum. Wow. 5 stars is insufficient as a rating but that’s the best offered. This place is spectacular…the building itself is a work of art. But the art produced by this remarkable artist defies description. You will be amazed by the breadth of her work. If you enjoy fine art come here ASAP, you will not be disappointed. We are lucky to have this facility in Las Vegas.

This museum is amazing. The amount and diversity of her work is inspiring. It's so impressive what she was able to accomplish. The museum did a great job of selecting pieces ranging from her early work to her later work so you were able to watch her grow as you make your way through the beautiful museum. I cant reccomend visiting this place enough. A special thanks to her husband for chatting with us.

We were absolutely touched by the talent and story of Rita. My wife and I pass the museum daily and were honored to meet the curator and have an amazing tour of the museum. Her artwork was truly awe-inspiring and beautiful! If you have an hour or two, I highly recommend treating yourself to this hidden gem. We look forward to visiting again.

Art forms here i’ve never scene before, absolutely incredible place. Had a great time getting to see each period of Rita’s art. The resin glass wall is amazing, you’ll know when you see it. Never knew this spot so close
