Pub rivo is our local pub. My family and I are regulars there and we are always bringing our family and friends to have dinner and watch the footy games. There is a staff member named Tamara(slim build, blonde coloured hair) who was rude to my family and I. This is the 3rd time she has given us attitude and she also has got our order wrong twice after repeating it to her hence why I am writing this review. She is not welcoming, never smiles and she makes us feel like we shouldn't be there. She needs to be re trained on her customer service because it is very poor and everytime she is working we have a bad experience. We will continue to visit this place but if her attitude and customer service doesn't improve we will have to spend our money elsewhere and share on our platforms our experiences at Pub Rivo to warn others.

I have been extremely impressed with the customer service received by the Chef, Andrew and his team. I was looking for a venue for my brothers 50th for around 50 people and most places were either over my budget, finger food only or requiring a minimum of 60 guests and over. From my first initial contact with the bistro they have been so accommodating and very easy to work with, making the experience stress free. We decided to have the venue outside under the pergola and this was perfect as it was our private area. Our guests commented how great the food tasted which I still can't believe how little the price was and the servings are generous. Thank you again for making this event a memorable one.

Food and service great. Prices are very reasonable. Good specials. Deck and outdoor area has been renovated. Great for families. Need a few more tvs with live sport on or keno. Bistro and sports bar are in need for an upgrade at some stage, however there is great sport coverage, aircon and music in this area. Comfortable spot on a hot day. Close to public transport - Buses and trains. More exposure on Instagram would be a great help for this pub.

The girls behind the bar Elissa & Crystal are very lovely and very easy to talk to so go down to the riverstone hotel and grab your next meal or have your next celebration and say hi to the girls. I come here regularly and love the atmosphere especially with the new renovations they also have an awesome playground for the kids to play on.

Have been going here for last 8 years to eat in the bistro. Absolutely beautiful, prices excellent, great food etc. Obviously with covid we have had quite a long break and haven't eaten from bistro for about 5 months. Tonight we ordered our usual to pick up. We were advised that the bistro had changed hands, well, our usual hot, tasty meal was God awful, cold, the sauces were not the same, the mash was not the same, but the worst is yet to come, what used to cost us $40-45 now cost $83.00. How can that be justified. Needless to say we WILL NOT be returning and neither are friends & family.

Our first visit to Riverstone Pub was lunch at Saturday. I called on Friday to enquire about gluten free options. Ben put me through to Josh the chef who was very helpful. On Saturday when we arrived care was taken with the order of the meals to ensure that they were right. Meals were tasty, well portioned and presented. Staff are friendly. It was a nice and quiet setting. Would recommend a visit. I appreciated the help taken by Ben, Josh and the staff that served us. Thank you Rivo Pub for accommodating our needs and for making our visit a pleasant one

We had a pre-booked group of 30 people so you think they would have been better planned. Some of us ended up waiting for 1.5 hours for our meals! They are so disorganised. They only have 2 chefs who only cook 1 docket at a time. What they need to do is premake the salads in seperate bowls, keep a large amount of veggies and chips cooking, and always have schnitzels going and just add the toppings. They need Gordon Ramsay there. Best advice go somewhere else.

Currently (Sept 2023) still under renovations to the outdoor area. Will be great when it's all finished. Great meals but they need more dessert options

I wanted to eat steak and so our friends took us here for lunch and wasn't disappointed at all! They have a $12 menu with 6-8 choices to choose from with a choice of mash and vege or salad and chips. Severing is big, you'd want to come with an empty stomach. I've been twice already since moving into the area and both times I go home so full I don't end up having dinner. I recommend the steak with mash and vege with mushroom sauce. Delicious!

This place was ok neat and well presented. Menu was ok pricing a bit dear, staff friendly. Pizza was hot, a bit too much cheese though, steak was cooked the way I wanted it medium rare, salad ok, chicken snitty was also ok, food was average. Well lit pub/restaurant the ambience and music background was pleasant. Not in a hurry to come back, have had much better pub grub! Overall it was average good.

Got the special for $35, which was scotch fillet with 1/2 Lobster and 2 sides, the steak wasn't the best, I have bought better ones from coles and woolies, this one was a little tough, I asked for medium but it was closer to well done, the lobster was awesome, beautiful flavour, soft but not much of it, next time I'd probably rather just cook it at home on the bbq.

I have been here twice now and both times has been disappointing. The bar staff are indifferent and scowl and the kitchen staff dont listen and seem to take their custom service skills from the bar staff. Food is pretty average. The entertainment is ok. I like that it is live. That fact probably got a star of it's own. I always feel like I'm not welcome here.

Poor service from bar staff & managers, I called asking for my old manager for a reference, and was talked down to and hung up on. There's no care in any of their voices, and the food is cheap, microwaved garbage. You can taste the lack of The only good thing about this pub are the patrons. Don't recommend unless you got mates that go here.

Wow!! I can not recommended this place enough. The meals are great tasting and full of flavor. The meals are far above my expectations of a Pub meal. Our compliment to the Chef's. It has a very friendly, happy atmosphere. We will be back again soon for sure. Think we will try Dinner next time. I am going back for the Nacho Ice Cream!!

Great pub, nothing fancy here what you will find is good honest food at fantastic prices might be the cheapest bistro in sydney? Good steaks etc and nice cold beers. The outside dining spot is the way to go with a nice deck and tree covered tsble and chairs, the kids can have a play on the little equipment at the back.

Ended up here as our original choice was booked out. So happy about that!! The food was great and so reasonably priced...had a $12 meal board as well...great value for money. Relaxed atmosphere with a nice outdoor area and live music. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is family friendly. A 5☆ for the Panko prawns and calamari, but only a 0 for the burnt, overcooked Atlantic Salmon and literally a half plate full of carrots and half a piece of zucchini. It was later in the evening and they were quite busy.

The food was great and the bar staff were good BUT there is one very rude red head with a temper to match! There’s a way to speak to people... it’s called customer service... obviously she doesn’t like children! Unfortunately, due to this one member of staff... we won’t be back!

Used to come here often(fav pub) before changeover . not good value - infact overpriced - unfriendly collect your own service- bad food - cheap quality ingredients . small portions - will not be back . Tried twice and both times really unhappy . Hot chips were delish though .

Food comes out really quick, new renovation is nice. The specials are a bit small and the steak my friend got was really tiny, almost comical. The full size menu is pretty good and fair pricing, but the specials are a little bit average. Get what you pay for i guess. More

Wow... Great food and excellent price. Very impressed. Edit 24th Dec 2018 . Unfortunately the food today was very underwhelming. No where near as good as last time . Waited a long time, only to receive cold meals. Service at the bar was still excellent.

Best food in the area!! No joke.prices and value= bargain nice little corner to hide and wait for your train meet the workers and make friends or just a feed for family and escape outside for the kids while you have a pint and enjoy the fresh air …

Thoroughly enjoyed the food as always. Great prices, consistent quality, nice staff.

Great ambience, menu is quite substantial, but reasonably price. Staff are nice and friendly. Parking can be an issue, they are quite full esp Thursday nights. Had the chicken schnitzel with chips and salad and tasted really well!

One of my favourite places for pub feeds. The portions are huge for very cheap prices such as the $12 menu. All the food on the menu looks good. Drinks are also very cheap such as a jug of lemon lime butters for $8

Best value food in the north west area. Lots of locals make this a weekly pilgrimage for dinner and drinks. Nothing overly fancy, just nice relaxed atmosphere and never terribly busy. Staff are wonderful.

We go here every week for Tuesday trivia and the staff are amazing with food that tastes brilliant

Very reasonable priced restaurant with good menu selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Small venue however. Could do with some updating of the layout. All in all, worth a look.

The chilli prawn pasta was lacking in chilli. The surf and turf was lovely and good value at $19. Overall, we enjoyed the food.

The twice cooked Pork belly is the tastiest and best value pub meal I have ever had! Only 19 bucks! Unbelievable!,...50 stars.

Wasn't expecting much from this pub but was actually good. $24 for a Parma which was nice. Not a bad little place.
