This playground is situated on the grounds of the homestead where Robert and Mary Wright some of the first land owners of what was once Morphett Vale (since renamed Woodcroft) once lived (c. 1900). The home was called "Hunston". This park is a beautiful place, the Onkaparinga Council needs to spend some money upgrading it, but making it natural keeping the heritage feel with the beautiful enormous gum trees. It was quite sad that the plaque on the old house ruins has been stolen.
Great park to bring your dogs to and kids, as their is a small playground and the park is big. It also has a small bike track with small dirt jumps. It would be great if they had a public BBQ and better seating as its needing a small upgrade to the place but apart from that it's also great for people who enjoy playing Pokemon go there.
Love the bike track that other families created. But that's where it stops. The playground is tired and whilst the beautiful trees give shade there is no one that cleans the area. Broken glass grafitti and food everywhere yuck. Area could do with a major update.
A nice shady park with cool artwork on a table there and on the ground in tiles. Resident Magpies very friendly
Nice playground here too.
