This place has a little bit of everything. Usually enough parking but can be tough to find a spot during busy hours. There are always lots of birthday parties happening but the park is super big you can easily find space to have your own and play. Be early if you want to get a BBQ though.
Playground
Lots of different playgrounds. Climbing, splash areas, and a giant jumping pillow. Also a fenced playground for younger kids. One of the best playgrounds in Brisbane if not the best.
Restrooms
Lots of restrooms but they can get quite busy and are a little bit away from some of the play areas so if you have young kids it pays to be preemptive about using them.

Wonderful suburban park with plenty to see and do. Also has a fantastic playgroung area for the kids. However, speaking as a coach driver, the park needs much more and better coach parking facilities, and the concrete barrier blocks need to go as they make manoeuvring a coach extremely difficult.
Playground
Great playground area with different adventure styles, including a bouncing dome and water themed area.
Restrooms
Toilets cater for both male and female in unisex format, and disability toilets are also available.
Dog-friendliness
Fur friends are welcome.
Picnic area
Nice grassed areas everywhere and some tables are available.

Absolutely amazing place for everyone! They have a huge park, heaps of BBQ and picnic areas, area for the small kids to get wet, a small kids park, 2 massive open fields and a gorgeous place just to go for a walk along the river or around the park lands. They have a coffee van and an ice cream van at peak times. I can't recommend this place more. It's absolutely beautiful!

This is a nice park with plenty of open space for picnics and kids bike riding. There is a nice 'man made' stream and pool play area and enough space to sit under shade. There are two play areas with swings, best and slides and a toddler's play area by the main wet play area. There is a small kiosk but unsure of opening times and to be honest considering how busy this park can get I'm not sure why this isn't permanently open or even expanded.

Nice large park. Great for kids. Younger kids (up to 5 year) will be happy - there are several shallow pools as well as fountains there. Also several playgrounds. Very large area. Lots of parking. Public toilets. Drinking water. Lots of space for walking and playing. There are several electric BBQ around. Very pleasant place. The only downside is that the place is highly overcrowded - lots and lots of families coming here for a picnic.

Good place to relax and enjoy wildlife. Lots of animals to see. Park there for the kids to play and a few big grass areas to play. A little water area as well. There a swing for the kids in wheelchairs. And a little area for toddlers to play. BBQ areas as well. Plenty of tables and chairs in shady areas. Toilets are close by. Good place to relax and watch the boats go by on the Brisbane River. Highly recommend going to have a look.

Wide open space. Water park fantastic for small children. Not for primary school age, though there is a inground jumping trampoline. Bike tracks and large field for playing soccer AFL. Could do with a playground for bigger children, and more picnic seating.
Playground
Need a large one for bigger children.
Dog-friendliness
Dog on leads.
Picnic area
More tables and chairs for grandparents to sit at.

A large, spacious riverside park that is a most glorious place to visit, walk and enjoy the calmness and serenity of a place where the water flows...... has a great range of facilities....picnics, BBQ, playground and a water environment....the tidal river Meanjin flows and the fresh and salt waters mix..... along the rocky river bed.... the summer heat and rain make this parklands a most beautiful place to visit....

Expansive park with plenty of walks, open grassland areas and a large children's play area. Some very wide spaces throughout the park for taking your dog walking (on leash), and there's even an off leash dog area nearby too. BBQ facilities and toilets throughout the park, and car parking can become quite limited during weekends and peak times.

Great park for children. Lots of activities for children of different ages. Plenty of picnic areas with BBQ plates, good for birthday parties. Plenty of open playgrounds for children to run around. There are paved pathways for bicycles / scooters as well. Parkins has generally not been an issue either. Multiple restrooms.

Discovered this park following a walk from a pathway that began near the DFO. Really surprised by the great number of playgrounds and children’s activities like the jumping pillow. A lovely lady was selling coffee there (it was great!) and she mentioned lots of the locals visit her for the delicious English pasties.

Wheelchairs area accessible! Spacious parkland with plenty of activities to offer to the public: children's playground, water play, bbq, benches, bicycle riding paths, basketball ground, vegetable garden, fishing spots etc. highly recommend. I wish there would be more cafes around.

  • Reza Shahrokhian

The park has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and the BBQ facilities were a bonus. The children's play area was well equipped. The river running through it adds a stunning touch and made for a fantastic backdrop. Overall, a fantastic park that I highly recommend visiting!"

Great facilities and play areas for kids. Some pathways could be smoothed for easier wheelchair and mobility devices. Very clean BBQs. Busy on weekends with parties and gatherings. Watch for the sneaky kookaburra who stole food right out of my hand.

  • Gab W

Great open space and plenty of room for the kids to run around.Really enjoyed the toddler play area as it was the perfect size for the little one. Older kids had plenty to play on including a jumping pillow. Will definitely be back again with family

  • Brisbaknight

Awesome place! Lots of activities for kids and some wide open spaces to boot. It has got a mini zipline, water play area, and play grounds. There some grills and benches. Great for picnic. Can wait for the other amenties to be repaired.

Can easily spend a whole day with kids at this place. BBQs, 2 water play areas + showers, a jumping pillow, playgrounds, lots of trees and shade. Quiet picnic areas far away from the playground too. An amazing park! …

We did the parkrun at Rocks Riverbank. Really nice parklands, a fun looking community garden, great tracks for running, and some interesting history. Make sure you read up about the history of this place.

Nice big park, with a variety of play areas and equipment, each catering for different age groups. The area for little kids is fully fenced, making it safer to let them grow/test their independence
