Live in the neighborhood. I was going to buy a book online cause most places listed at $35, but the retail price is $55. Thought, well it doesn't hurt to walk-in and ask if RoscoeBooks price matches. Went straight to the counter - the lady was reading a book. I said, "Hi" she looked at me dazed and confused and with glossy eyes. I asked, "Do you price match?" She 100% looked at me shocked and confused that I was asking this question, she replied, "oh, I don't know that means." But with a weird pretentious and rude tone. "Oh, you know price-matching, like prices from other stores." The lady found her self in a state of utterly confusion. Silence for a few seconds. She replied quietly and sharply with her glossy eyes, "No, we don't" she lit up a grimly smile and forces an end to the conversation. "Ok, thanks" Promptly existed the store and wondered why would I bother support this store in the future when I can have pleasant experience from my computer. The irony. . .

Fantastic independent bookstore with very knowledgeable staff who can give helpful recommendations based on what you are looking for. Be sure to ask about the book club for deals. Great selection and a comfortable environment. High quality books. I was impressed by their children's and young adult book selection. They also post some good staff reviews on their shelves if you're looking for suggestions. Very fun place to shop!

A great local bookstore! We started ordering from here exclusively at the start of the pandemic and pickup for our orders is quick and easy. The protocols for COVID are clearly communicated and books are displayed well for a quick browse when picking up orders. I love the online shop and they have been so communicative when my orders are going to have potential delays or back orders.

This is an adorable, well-stocked bookstore with owner and employees that care about their customers. Erika, the owner, is always friendly and involved with her customers, young and old. My favorite is that she and Emily (who will be very missed!) have curated a GREAT children's section that I always wish I had more time to peruse, but I'm usually busy chasing two toddlers around!

This is a nice bookstore with really helpful staff. However, they are very expensive. I stopped by and got two books, and it was 63 dollars! I checked online after I left, and they would've been 29 dollars together ordering online. My fault for not checking online first, so I won't knock off many stars for the much higher pricing. Just be aware and check before you buy.

Roscoe Books is great! I ordered a number of books from them, and they were very good about updating me throughout the week on the status of my order. I walked into their lovely space for pickup today, which was quick and easy. Thank you very much, Roscoe Books! Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back!

Roscoe Books had copies of books when other stores in the area did not. Don't let the small size fool you, it has a little of everything for everyone. Great staff who actually loves to read the books they have and love to offer their personal recommends!
