Had a spot next to laundry and the washing and dryer went 24/7 and if you called the office there was no response. ... people do what ever they want playing cricket and smashing balls in to cars without a care.... people are extremely laud at night music screeming talking at 1-5am in the morning in laundry ... during most expensive time of the year its out of control... there is just up to 6 people per side allowed but some had over 20 people ... just one lady cleans the toiets right.... DO NOT GO DURING PICK SEASON YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REST AT ALL ... i got more to say about this place but the review is getting to long :(

Something needs to be done about the toilet waste bin Between section 11 and 12. People come and empty their load from all sorts of sections and sites and the smell is horrendous. The shed needs to be locked and should be put behind the actual toilets. It’s unhygienic having it this close to people’s campsites when there is room behind the toilets and not fair that campsites have to bear the smell when there are toilets available during the day time. Each section needs to have their one toilet waste area so it’s not stinking out one whole section.

Campground was very clean during the time we went down little bit noisy due being close to the road only thing we found that was extremely disappointing was trying to identify our campsite that we paid for there are no clear markings or numbers to tell what site number is what and we were advised on the call to the customer service to eye ball it with a map on there website easier said then done .. on a Positive note its close to the beach, shops etc so if you need a place crash for night without breaking the bank this suites perfectly .

I think I agree with all the reviews on here. I don't really think there are any I've seen which are unfair, it just depends on what you are after. Yes, it is close to a main road, the facilities are average and the campsites are unmarked. However, the site is beautiful, it is close to playgrounds, shopping areas and right on the beach. In my opinion, sure the road was noisy but everything else was almost perfect for a camping weekend away. Thank you to the amazing people who cleaned the facilities every day I was there.

Appalling profiteering during the Christmas period, $50 for a small site for a tent. Hot water tap missing in the men’s shower block, scruffy and dirty try. We are from WA and had great caravan park camping in the Grampians and in the Otways for around $30 per night, including good facilities. The Mornington Shire should be shamed of itself...but the office staff were pleasant. Mike

we love our holiday in our caravan at Rosebud Peninsula, toilets are sparkling the camp ground is kept tidy and clean. The only downside is there's no water taps on site 12, l emailed the council asking if we could have some as all other site's have them and apparently there's not enough funds for taps on site 12 , honestly how expensive would that be.

Fantastic location for camping. Camping site is 60 seconds away from beach! Stunning location and most of local attractions are within 20 kilometres We stayed three nights there in a powered camp site. Staffs are very friendly, clean toilets/ shower rooms / peaceful atmosphere and much more. Highly recommended for sure

Location is great, just be careful someone stole my friends blue scooter and the people next to us has one of there bikes stolen. When we placed the police report, it was mentioned that unfortunately this place is know for criminal activity which is such a shame.

The best foreshore camping going around! Gets pretty packed on long weekends and the likes. Shops are right across the road so if you fall short on supplies (beer) then it's just a short stroll and your sorted! Highly recommend

Section 10 is the dirtiest and most noisy thing because there are a large number of Lebanese people there screaming even after 11 and putting their cars in parking spaces not in front of their tents.

Rubbish Everywhere!!! Broken bits of plastic bottle straws tinsel all over the ground on many of the campsites I’m not sure what camping management are doing life it’s absolutely shameful …

Camping was pretty much on the roadside and we came in the off season only to find the place full of caravans. There are more peaceful places to camp...

Club D’Amour and Happy Endings shows presented by Tone & Cheek were amazing. Partner and I were blown away and all the staff were very friendly

  • Kaz

Noisy due to being close to road. Packed in like sardines and ancient toilet/shower blocks. Only good thing is close to beach

  • Joey Esterhuyzen

I don’t know how people can sleep while camping here. And we weren’t even closest to the road. Cars all night til sunrise.
