Huge disappointment. Finally had a chance to stop in here to try it out since it's local and had good reviews. I ordered a Makers and coke and my date had a martini. Simple, right? My disappointment started when I saw the bartender measure out the drink to the drop, literally. It was served in a double glass (not sure why), so it was less than enjoyable. My dates Martini was terrible to say the least. We were not approached again (Saturday at 6:20pm, so many seats were open) until I told the bar tender that I would like to close my tab. At that point she finally asked how our drinks were. I mentioned that the martini was terrible and that my drink was over saturated with coke. She then proceeded to try to cover herself on the martini concoction by stating that most places do not know how to properly make a martini (my thoughts were that she was misinformed). She then said that we should have told her that we were not happy with our drinks and that she would have made new ones. Since we were sitting at the bar, I felt that she should have at least stopped by once to check on us and our drinks. Long story short, we will not return, nor will we recommend this place to anyone. Again, huge disappointment.

We found our favorite craft bartender again!!! Miriam is the best, we lost her for a bit! The blackberry bourbon sour is refreshing and delicious! The juicy goth is soo good with its shishito undertones! Then there is the hellflower, we had it with the shishito gin and jalapeño, omg…the spice up front and a medley of amazing flavors on the long finish! If you’re a craft bar snob,like me, know that most of them suck at food. Not Rosewater! The food is as eclectic and interestingly delicious as the drink menu! Don’t miss the kofta meatballs and the falafel plate! True to the description the spices reveal themselves as you slowly consume this work of art! One more point, you can judge a place by their Wednesday night crowd, this place rocks it! Hope this helps you to decide to make the trek to this rare find in clear lake.

Great neighborhood spot to grab a drink. The patio was awesome with the fire pits and heaters. Drinks were inventive, unique and delicious. The espresso martini was miles above those that I've tried elsewhere. That alone has inspired me to return. But the service was friendly and fast and the vibes were just right. The music was great but not so loud that you couldn't keep a conversation. The drink menu is extensive and I like that it shows what type of glass the drinks are served in. It was a little busy on a Saturday night but the service is on point that as soon as a table is freed up, it's turned over and made available for the next guests. We can't wait to come back for another espresso martini!

1st time back in 3 1/2 years since moving out of the area. It never disappoints. The bartenders tonight (I believe it was noelle and didn’t catch the name of the blonde woman helping behind the bar) were wonderful. The drinks were incredible ( apple daq, twist on Georgia o’ peach, and rose water sour) and conversation was so inviting. Ladies thank you for making me feel right back at home. This place has always been my favorite for good reason. Being in the service industry, this will be my go-to spot for unwinding after a busy night. Update: went on St. Patrick's Day because they had lots of green drinks and I was blown away again! I ordered two orders of hummus with extra Zhug (which makes it spicy) this time and too many drinks This place is amazing for drinks you can't get anywhere else! Rosewater sour is the best! The Gouda on the charcuterie board is to die for although it was all delicious! It had little salt crystals in it and has such a rich flavor so the winner on the board for sure! My favorite hummus I've ever had is the spicy one here. It is freshly made in house and packed with flavor! I'd eat it every day if I could!

Just moved into the neighborhood and this looked like a cool spot so decided to give it a try. When arriving I was instantly pleased by the outdoor decor and the amount of liquor stacked behind the bar. Lighting, music and atmosphere is very chill and well l set. I asked the waiter to surprise me and gave her my preferences. I ended up getting the "weekend lover". It's like a Moscow mule with dark rum and blackberry. Also ordered the Charcuterie Board, highly recommend if your have a group of people to share with.

The staff are very knowledgeable and the cocktail menu is decent with some fun twists! My first cocktail was one they made me based on my general preferences and it hit the spot perfectly. The second one I ordered off the seasonal specials that was apparently inspired by the Avatar anime. I was less of a fan of that one, but mostly put that down to my own folly in choosing a gin-based cocktail and appreciated the showmanship of the pearl dust. Overall I definitely recommend coming here if you are in town!

If I had to pick one bar to go to for the rest of my life, I’d pick Rosewater for sure. To start - the patio is so pretty. It’s covered so heat during the summer isn’t a problem and there are heat lamps so the chill during the winter isn’t a problem either. The staff are all so friendly and seem to know a lot about the menu. Plus, I feel very safe here bringing my queer friends to have a nice, relaxing hang.

Recently received excellent service from Bre & all the staff. Recent visit 6/18 a friend and I visited and she has a cast on her leg. The staff greeted us at the door and held the door for us to come in, which we kindly appreciated. Bre was so friendly and personable. The drinks were delicious & I must say the restrooms were super clean. Overall five star & it’s a vibe at Rosewater. Stop by and give them a try.. Support your local business owners.

Small neighborhood bar with large selection of liquor to make fashionable cocktails. No food served but you can bring food in from other restaurants. There are a few tables on the front patio. We were there for HH and found parking easily in their shared strip center parking lot. I had a very tasty margarita on the rocks. Others had tap craft beer and wine. Large selection of both beer and wine. Order at the bar no table service. But a dedicated spot at bar to stand to order.

Look no further than Rosewater for quality cocktails and great company. Pasha is always willing to share his knowledge about the large collection of spirits in the bar and can introduce you to new drinks. Adam, Rachael, and the other bartenders are all very friendly. Rosewater opened up near my parent's house and I always make sure to stop by when I'm in town. The menu changes seasonally and for special events so you'll always have something new to try. Check it out!

This is the best little bar in the Clear Lake/Webster area and my personal favorite in all of Houston. The cocktails are phenomenal, the bartenders are excellent, and the ambiance is lovely. Whether you live in Houston, or you're just visiting, definitely stop in for a visit. This is also one of the only bars I've felt safe visiting during the pandemic. They have implemented protocols to keep everyone safe and continue their tradition of great service.

Best cocktails in Houston--hands down!!Seriously hardcore tiki with well-sourced liquor, very moderate pricing, and delicious, locally sourced food. Rosewater now offers table service outside, which benefitted us all. Kate is ah-mah-zing!! And a wonderful puppy was present. Update: Great new space and new menu items! Service is wonderful and the outdoor space is continually being improved.

Tonight on our way to Rosewater for the 63rd time I thought I should write a review. We love this place. From the employees to the cocktails, they put so much love and effort into making this place stand out from the thousands of places you can get a drink in the Houston area. While I try something new almost every time, my sweetheart is addicted to the Hell Flower. If I have $12 and an hour to spare, I’m spending both at Rosewater.

By far the greatest cocktail bar I have been to. This place is a treasure and I know of people that come to clear lake from all over Houston just to try it out. They mix up their menu constantly to keep things fresh and the absolute shocker is that I have yet to have a drink that isn't spectacular. These guys (and gals) do it old school and know what they're doing. I don't think it's possible to recommend a Rosewater enough. TRY IT!

I hardly have a variety of Liquors at all, only very high-priced scotches and mezcal and an extremely small variety of vodka and only craft selection of beer. I'm sure it cuts down on a lot of kids going there to get drunk and a classy atmosphere, what's an adult like me he just wants to have a normal drink in a classy atmosphere it was not my place. Both the bartenders were super nice and the atmosphere was too except the music

We didn't eat here, but there is a limited menu for munching while having a good time. The drinks were so delicious with good pours in all of them. The beer selection is limited, but I love the one from Montana (I don't know how to spell it). They'll know what you mean if you ask for it that way. They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff to help with your drink selection. The selection of alcohol's is very impressive.

I cannot begin to say how much we love our local cocktail bar! The staff is wonderful and the drinks are just as awesome! The addition of some food is perfect. The sandwiches, charcuterie and homemade hummus is delicious! The daily "frozies" never disappoint. The owner takes care of his folks like family and the love amongst the staff is obvious. If you have not visited, run don't walk!

The place for craft cocktails in the area. They have a constantly changing list of cocktails and a good collection of small batch bourbons and other spirits. Also, a decent selection of beers, wines and ciders if cocktails are not your thing. Very passionate staff who are happy to work with you on creating your perfect drink. They usually have food carts on Sundays in the parking lot.

Found this place on Yelp trying to find a spot to grab some drinks while visiting my daughter. Was a hidden gem in a small strip mall. Trendy vibes and crafted cocktails. We was super busy but we were greeted by all the servers and they helped us find a table. Service was excellent and the drinks were top notch. Will definitely be back! We are really loving our visits to Rosewater! Bartenders are fantastic, so knowledgeable about cocktails and willing to share that info, but always accessible and never condescending about it. THE best cocktail bar in the SE Houston area. If your familiar with Daquiri Time Out in Galveston it's very comparable. Amazing original cocktails, fantastic selection of all kinds of spirits, and a great atmosphere. Only problem I see with this place is it can get a bit tight-quartered when it's Fri-Sun. Otherwise highly recommend this place.

This place is a great find. Tucked away and very low key they have some of the best original cocktails I've had as well as the know how and ingredients to make all the classics. The topper though is an incredibly friendly and down to earth staff that do all this without any pretension or judgement at all. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The tag line is "Fancy Drinks" and that's about right. There are no bartenders here... These are professional mixologists and they have earned the title. Order from their very creative menu, ask for something specific, or just tell them what you're in the mood for and leave it in their capable hands. Highly recommend!

Outstanding bar and very quickly became one of our favorites over the years. Very glad to hear they are expanding their space. Always find an inventive drink or two when we come and love that they have kept the break-even bottles going. Have been more times than we can count and will keep coming back again and again.

I came to Houston to visit and work. Stopped by on a Thursday night. Had the Old Fashioned and Infinite Old Fashioned. The infinity bottle had some rum and made for a tastier old fashioned, so the Infinite Old Fashioned was my fav for this visit. I still enjoy visiting and have been since this place opened in 2018.

Don't let the strip center deter you. Really nice atmosphere, no table service provided so please don't expect it. Not only do they offer craft cocktails, which were superbly created..but also offering beer, cider and wine for those who prefer it. Wonderful, laid back but upscale experience.

Great first quick trip to rosewater. Had a great pour of bourbon and check the place out. Good vibes from this place and looked to have great mixologist and great selection of choices. Prices seemed fair. Restrooms we're clean. I will return for another visit to get a better review.

What a great little bar. Very comfortable, clean and smoke-free. Bartender welcomed us and greeted us with a big smile as we came in. I was surprised to see a board listing a bunch of good local craft beers. They have a terrific and broad selection of scotch and other whiskeys.
