"The playground is nice and the percussion instruments are a great touch"

This is a lovely play place for kids, I'm not giving it five stars for the ADULT people WITH their DOGS who walk inside the playground and SMOKE and DON'T PICK UP theirs DOGS POP. They really don't care that it's IT'S A CHILDREN PLACE NOT A PET PLACE. I don't know why they don't walk to the other side. Liberty Park is big enough to walk dogs, but these people have to walk inside and they have to make sure they smoke and trash their cigarettes inside the playground. Also, why loud people in their bikes have to be there? Really? Smoking too? They don't have children playing in the playground plus if they have why we have to listen to their music there? Can they see small children? Can they see it's a place for them?
The playground is nice and the percussion instruments are a great touch. I knocked a star off because there are two play structures that are pathways, which is great, except for when you loose sight of your young child. It's too easy for them to go to the other side and you can't see them or get to them easily. I also knocked it down a little because the bathrooms scared my potty training kid, I should have been better prepared, but the restrooms we're gross and kinda scary to a 3 year old. Overall it's a nice place to play. Liberty Park is my favorite in Salt Lake (as it is for a lot of people) and the little things about that particular part of the park are easy to overlook.
There are swings, mini seesaw, climbing-tower(not sure how to phrase) w/slides. A couple things kids sit-on, spin 'round & 'round until dizzy and want to throw-up (¡Fun!). It has an area for younger/smaller children w/tiny slide, and activity area. Has a small sandbox and in the summer there is a small water spray area. Which is fairly popular (sign says swimming suit is required). There are full-sized swings & swings for toddlers/babies as well as one special chair for a disabled child. Has several picnic tables in lots of shade. Sometimes parking can be challenging. Not a whole lot of benches to sit on but plenty of lawn.
This was a fun place to stop for a picnic while visiting Salt Lake. There were plenty of trees, offering some shade, and lots of space for the kids to run around. There are also several play structures and swings. It looks like they have water features to play in, though these were turned off while were were there. My older boys liked the chess boards built into the tops of the cement tables and wished we would have brought a set to play with.
We swung by Rotary Park on our way through SLC as we headed home to Portland. Needed to stretch our legs and let the babe play for a bit. Anyway, what a fabulous park! Tons on swings and play structures with slides and bridges. Sand. A water feature to splash around in and lots of grassy fields to enjoy. The only drawback was the gross bathrooms, but I just opted for a McDonalds down the street.
The play area of the park is very well balanced and spread out. While aimed at younger kids, my 10 yo still enjoys playing on the equipment. A separate area with sand keeps those kids from getting bumped by swings or running kids, and the gentle sidewalk around the equipment keeps parents busy. Lots of benches, too. We're come here more often if we lived closer.
The playground is big for lots of kids to play at the same time and have lots of fun. It is a playground designed for children of all abilities. There are lots of swings, slides, places to run, and from memorial day to labor day there is a fun water feature in the center. The kids also love the music creating space that is part of the playground.
Looking forward to the water works coming on, well at least we hope they do. Considering the water drought they may not, I'm not sure. Not the best of splash pad for older children, so if able to venture out a bit further distance there's a way better pad we like in North Salt Lake located by the Legacy Highway called North Foxboro Regional Park.
This is a beautiful park. Clean and welcoming. I went one April evening with my 3yo. She enjoyed running around in the large fields and playing in the humongous playground until it was almost sunset. This is about 30 mins from my house, but I’ll be back. Very reminiscent of Central Park in New York, except smaller.
This is a great playground. It has a good variety of fun equipment for kids to play on and a lot of space to run around in. There are always other kids for your kids to make friends with. There are bathrooms nearby which is always important when you're children have small bladders like mine.
I have been going for 50 years. Shout out to those of you who remember the giant slide. I would love to see the carousel restored. Splash pads are fun and swimming pool is affordable. Tracy Aviary needs to have a family day once a month and drop the price of entry. Tons and tons of space.
This is a great play ground in Liberty park with a splash pad. It's big and has a lot to do. Lots of swings though they are in need of repair. They do have the red whole body swings which I actually hate because they are heavy and if your kid gets hit by them there's a lot more damage.
My first time visiting this place, and I adore it! There are dogs all over the place, and it's so beautiful! It's such a beautiful tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Breathtaking. I wish I would have found it sooner, but I'm glad I found it now!
Rotary Play Park is great! Part of Liberty Park. Several playgrounds for all ages. Splash pad is nice and very small, water doesn't turn on till 12 though. Has bathrooms, drinking fountains, shade, large grassy areas, tons of trees, lots of benches. Lots of homeless people too!
It's a really big park with lots of space but it gets very crowded especially in the summer time when they have the fountains running and there's a bunch of kids running around in diapers in the water so you might get sick if you play in the water but otherwise it's okay
This is one of my most favorite kid parks in the Salt Lake Valley. There are ton of things to do from swinging, playing on the two playground, playing the music instruments, or playing in the splash pad. I’ve been coming here for years and I will continue to come here.
This park is beautiful. It offers so much which you can see from the listing of course. So I’ll just say that it’s well maintained safe and clean. Tons of gorgeous trees and plans and landscape to enjoy. Go get some fresh air at Rotary Play Park and Liberty Park!
Cute little park great for kids. Pricy food and drinks. Had a burger and a large drink it cost 11 and change. Pricy kickers but the kids loved it so it's worth it it's good family time but set limits on spending. But id recommend it. I'm deffemfly coming back.
Very large park with lots of different play areas. No scary drop offs, which is really nice if you have an overly confident toddler. There is also a sand area which my son loved. I give it five stars since my kid screamed his head off when it was time to go.
Hugggeeeee park with lots of land, splash pad, playground, bird aviary, pool, rides and more. Keep your eye on your child though, as you never know whos lurking at plaugrounds. We are visiting from Florida and have been here twice and will def go back again
Absolutely beautiful playground great setup inclusive to all our son absolutely loves this place and we love taking him it's such a wonderful treat to go to nice playgrounds like this I highly recommend you taking your children here if you're in the area
Kids had a lot of fun. Big city stress though. Saw men sitting inside car facing park. Man sleeping in hammock. Straggling men walking around that didn't look like they belonged there. I won't take children again... too stressful to watch 3 at a time.
I have always loved the diversity of people at Liberty park. It is one of my favorite places to go I love the splash pad and the boats and the rides and the Aviary. Every time I go their I wonder why it took me so long to go back.
This park is Sensational located and Liberty Park my favorite Park hands down and Salt Lake City, it is so big every time you go there something new to do, take your family take you friends it's a must-see any day of the week!
I take my son here often. There are two play structures- one for older kids, one for younger, as well as a splash pad. This park is wheel chair accessable. They also recently put in a bunch of music activities, which is cool.
One of the biggest playougrond for kids. Last time, we went there and met some people from the city, they asked what they should change about this playground. Soon, we should expect some changes.
I absolutely love Liberty Park there's so much to do here from Tracy Aviary to the carnival they have they have a duck pond a little water park it's an excellent place to take your children
Me and my friend went here to kill some time, we got bit by so many bugs. It was painful. Overall it was pretty ok. There seemed to be a lot to do and didn't get to crowded as time passed.
Expansive playground with everything you could want: climbing areas, slides, swings, playhouse, splash pad, sand box, xylophones, and picnic area - and all of it is ADA accessible.
This place is fun for the kids, there is a playground with a water section and a section for young and older kids. It also has a section for some music making. My kids love it.
This was such a fun experience for my girls. We played there for hours and they lived it. It's clean, well maintained, and nicely shaded . A perfect park for an afternoon.
I have always loved this park. Been going there for over 15 years. There is a little bit for everyone. More.than enough room to accommodate your park activities.
Always a great time at Liberty Park. However, the seat on my mountain bike was stolen, in broad daylight. That was not an enjoyable ride home that day. …
I take my son here all the time and he and I have a blast! They have their splash pad going and so it's a perfect way for the kiddos to cool off in the heat!
It was so fun to go here with my daughter she loves it and it is walking distance from our home as well as well kept and safe for the children who enjoy it
The best park in Salt Lake City for children. Hands down. It's clean and safe (unlike many other parks in the area), well maintained, and full of life.
Love that this is a playground for children of all abilities. They even have special swings for disabled children so they can experience swinging.
Wonderful place for a family day. Lots of room for kids to run around and play. Splash pad and playground. Bathrooms were clean and area was nice
We were very excited to see that all the stolen musical instruments were replaced, and bolted down much better with anti tweaker-thief features!
Always great. Not very busy on the weekdays. Peaceful atmosphere, kids playing, and room for everyone. My daughter loves it, good stop for us.
My daughter loved it because there was so much to do even for her size. She is two and not many places offer toddler areas, this one does.
Too many homeless weirdos all over the place. They need to kick them out or have them move on in order for the spark to be a great Park.
Lovely park. Lots to climb and a great splash pad area but it's not unusual to find cigarette butts and other garbage in the sand pit.
Great playground for younger and older kids with a wonderful splash pad in the center. This park is truly the best in Salt Lake.
No shade on playground at all. Not super hot today but equipment was too hot. Benches and tables in the shade though.
it has two playgrounds which is nice so kids can have multiple stuff to play on and even has water splash pad
Splash pad! Perfect for summer months. Keep an close eye on your kids though. This place can get really busy.
Wonderful splash pad and great playground. Hate the mixed ground, some is sand and other is wood chips. :-(
My son had a lot of fun playing here. Sucks that the mallets to the instruments are often missing though.
Great play place for kids. Located in Liberty Park. It's the bigger play ground and there is tons to do.
Nice clean park with great playground equipment. The lawns for the ball fields are in amazing condition.
This place is fun for the kids, I seen a homeless person using the splash pad for a quick shower . …
Great park with lots of different things to play with! A little worn down and has some graffiti though.
My kids have so much fun here and it's easy to keep track of them. I feel safe enough to let them roam.
So many options for creative play. The multiple water fountains were good for the kids too. Very clean.
Kids love it. They fixed the musical instruments. They have handicapped accessible swings. Nice park.
Best of 2 big parks. It's a huge park and the playground is great. Could use some new equipment.
Really nice outdoor playground with a splash pad. Out child's favorite place in Salt Lake City
Multiple playgrounds, lots of open space, an aviary, running/skating track...fun for everyone!
Lovely spot for the kids to run round. Or at least for mine to crawl on the artificial grass.
Fantastic park for adults and kids. Plenty of space to eat and play or watch you kids play!
Amazing childrens playground with many different slides and slopes... Thanks to Rotary

Lots of space and fun play equipment for the kids. Plenty of trees and picnic tables.
Fun park and fun to see the kids play. Great diversity and love among the kids today!
Play ground at Library Park has slides, swings, and a water feature. Great for kids!
Great playground, though the musical installations are in need of some maintenance.
Other than a little needed upkeep it'sa great place for kids to learn and explore.
Great/Safe place for children to play. Enjoy a meal here while the kids play too
It was really nice and big park I've ever been to. We eat Chinese in that place.
My children had a wonderful time playing! They especially loved the splash pad!
Very good place for some good family time. Place is quite clean and safe.
