This past may 2021 I had to unfortunately put my last boxer down. I raised and bred boxers. My wife got me my boy for my birthday in may 2006 and I got her her female dec 2006. They had 3 litters. We kept a female puppy from the second litter. My boy died in 2015. But within a year we had to put down both our girls. The mom was put down sept 6 2020 and Sadie the daughter was may 21 2021. It was Sadie who was put down last. They were really compassionate and before we left and they took her they asked if we wanted her paw print as a remembrance which we said yes to right away. The other two dogs the vets didn’t offer this option. They only offered if you wanted the ashes. First I think it’s to much money to ask extra for giving the ashes. I mean we already payed for everything including the cremation and disposal why is it so much more to receive the ashes. Why not give the ashes since we pay for disposal. Anyway I believe the dog should go back to the earth and if I had the money I would bury them instead. But out of many places this is the first time a vet gave the option to take a paw print. I really wish I had my other boxers paw prints.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this vet clinic! Dr. Long, the vet whose practice it is, is very knowledgeable and experienced yet very, very compassionate and down to earth. My pit bull baby is a year and a half and she started going to Dr. Long when we adopted her 8 months ago. She can be very weary around new people but Dr. Long put her at ease right away. She is very pit bull friendly and she has helped Alice manage her serious skin allergy issues that plagued her when she first came home to us. My little guy, Henry also loves Dr. Long! He's a 3 year old chihuahua/daschund/jack russell mix. She's very patient with him as well, even though he was very scared last time he went to get his nails trimmed! Dr. Long is very practical and she won't charge you and arm and a leg for treatment or recommend anything unnecessary just to make extra money. It's a very affordable vet clinic with a wonderful vet. Don't let the area scare you, it's really worth going.

I don’t have any problems with the treatment of the pets because when I did take my cat the first time months ago they took care of him. But I showed up for an appointment I had at 1:00 today and called multiple times and got no answer. It took me calling them 5 times for them to answer and the first thing they say is “kinda late” as if I hadn’t gotten a busy tone the last 4 times. Then I got put on hold again and by this time it’s almost 20 minutes since my original scheduled time. Don’t think I’ll be coming here anymore

Waited an hour as a walk in and they took the animal that walked right in after my hour wait. ALSO THEY LOST MY CAT IN THEIR ROOF AND CALLED ME A MONTH LATER THAT THEY FOUND IT. The front office were not even working and the vet kept walking back and forth not doing anything till her next appointment, the one that they took in before me, came in. LAZY. just see your patients and get it done....They were just upset cause they lost our cat

I have been bringing my dogs to Roxford Vet Clinic for years, and I love the staff and Dr. Long! She and the rest of the staff have helped with everything from check ups to accidents and have always done what is best for my dogs. They are also more affordable than other vets I've visited in the past. While Covid restrictions made things more complicated during visits, the care provided hasn't changed.

I've been coming to this office for years with my dog. The Vet is very good at taking care of your pet, and she's in my neighborhood. BUT, WOW, her front desk staff will huff, and sigh and give you a hard time as if you're asking for charity. It's humiliating to ask the front desk questions any time I call or visit. I've tried not to take it personal, but it literally happens every time.

I took in my baby pit for a check up cause it was feeling a little sik!!! She charged me 300$$ and said he would feel better!!! Within a couple of hours my puppy was dead!!! Im not sayin it was her fault but why would she give my puppy hope!!! And i called her to tell her wat happend and she really didnt care! If u really love ur pet go somewhere else!!!

I found this location a little over a year ago now and this vet clinic has become my go-to. Kind and helpful staff, knowledgeable and caring Dr., a clean building and rooms, and overall just an amazing location. Deposits are required for appointments, but very reasonable and very worth it. After spending $2500 at the VCA clinic in Glendale (this was not surgery) he was sent home with the same symptoms and a temperature! Trying to save his life I took him to Dr. Long. She gave him a shot of antibiotics steroids, and changed his food. BLESSINGS to you Dr. LongAngel is still alive, happy and healthy❤THANK YOU!!!! …

I have been here multiple times with both of my dogs and my cat. My care was not horrible, however I feel like each experience has not been great either. I have to ask multiple times to get an explanation of her plan of care and what I'm paying for and she does not seem compassionate. The staff is friendly but the Vet is not.

We've been taking our dog for years and never had any problems except most of her nails bleeding when the vet cut them once so we don't do that anymore. She's a good vet even though she's a bit listless and not very friendly or talkative. She's to the point and that's it. Gentle with the animals. Office staff is nice.

They're good, I had my 8 year old yorkie in for his first teeth cleaning, they did a great job cleaning the teeth, the only thing, every time I called the office, they put me on hold for about 10 minutes! Even when I was sitting outside! They don’t allow anyone in office, Blame it on the covid!

Took my shelter cat to this vet because I had a voucher. The shelter made me Pick him prematurely before his neutering due to illness. They did a great job treating his symptoms and a few days later was healthy. Will be keeping him their in the future for consistency.

They were very helpful and kind in my time of need. I had to put my dog down and they were very helpful and patient with me, not that I was a hysterical mess but if I was you couldn't blame me. Anyways, I am grateful for their help and their tender care.

For my first I had she was sick and I took her to 3 different vets they were the ones to fix out what was wrong with her. Sadly it was too late but I bring my current puppy here. They are great people and quick with results.

The people working in the front desk are extremely rude and have no manners. I always have a horrible experience with them on the phone and in person. I try not to take it personally but COME ON! GET IT TOGETHER!

The vet is so patient and caring. She is in no rush to listen to your concerns. I had to take my dog to put down and they were empathetic even though it was time to close. I started taking my new puppy to them.

Staff is friendly and patient. Doc didn't try to upsell anything, which I'm thankful for because it's one of my pet peeves! To make an appointment, you HAVE TO pay the office visit upfront. I get it,

Dr. Long and her staff a very caring and compassionate. They work with you to give your animals the best care. All vets seem expensive, but Rockford is well priced! I have dogs and cats.
