Oubliez cette adresse!! Client depuis de nombreuses années, j’ai téléphoné ce soir pour commander / livraison. Comme d’habitude (mais on s’y était fait depuis des années car nous voulions simplement manger indien...) nous sommes très mal accueillis par téléphone, limite nous dérangeons. Je suis certain que tout ceux qui nous lisent se disent : « ah oui, c’est totalement vrai!!! ». Bref, le personnel (ou patron) semble tout le temps dans le jus, genre il faut expédier la commande et ne pas attendre un sourire téléphonique car sinon nous risquons de déranger ou de faire louper le dernier bus post service... rien que ça c’est très très moyen mais encore une fois quand vous avez faim... vous fermez parfois les yeux... Bref bis, après tant d’années à commander au lance pierre (heureusement le service livraison a toujours été au top, personnel extérieur à la société et très gentil / poli), nous avons fait l’erreur de tenter de commander ce soir... grave erreur!!! La personne nous indique par téléphone que maintenant il faut commander par internet. Ok, moyen mais nous nous y plions et nous connectons. Et là pour la même commande de +/- 40 EUR nous passons presque à 50 EUR. Je me permets de rappeler le restaurant pour comprendre / être certain de ce que je lis. Le patron, dans le jus comme d’habitude et à 300 à l’heure me répond et me dit qu’il faut effectivement commander par internet. Je lui fais part de mon commentaire sur le tarif qui vient de prendre 20% et que ce n’est pas très correct. Lui me répond tu tac o tac que c’est comme ça. Je lui indique que ça fait des années que je suis client et qu’il risque de perdre un client fidèle. Il me répond que c’est noté et que c’est ainsi...!!!!!!!!!! Et raccroche!!!!!! Vous imaginez? Impensable... Je me demande même si je n’ai pas été victime d’un canular!!!!! Bref, passez vraiment votre chemin, incroyable de prendre des clients historique de haut comme ce gérant l’a fait!!!!!!!!!

J'ai récemment dîné dans ce restaurant indien et l'expérience a été assez satisfaisante. Bien que ce ne soit pas le meilleur restaurant indien que j'ai essayé, j'ai été impressionné par le personnel et l'accueil chaleureux que j'ai reçus. Le service était impeccable et l'équipe semblait vraiment soucieuse de rendre mon expérience agréable. Cependant, en ce qui concerne la cuisine, bien que les plats étaient corrects, ils n'ont pas tout à fait atteint le niveau de certains autres restaurants indiens que j'ai fréquentés. De plus, bien que la terrasse soit agréable, j'ai remarqué qu'elle aurait pu être mieux entretenue. Malgré cela, si vous recherchez un endroit avec un personnel et un accueil exceptionnels, c'est une bonne option. Cependant, si vous cherchez une expérience culinaire vraiment exceptionnelle, il pourrait être intéressant d'explorer d'autres options.

The first impression and probably the last thing that stuck vividly in our minds here is outright Rude Customer service which is very degrading and demotivating for any customer who goes to the restaurant to enjoy a good evening dinner. The owner/cashier is very rude and doesn't even know how to greet a customer, leave aside greeting - they end up being very rude in how they speak when we order food. In fact we wanted to order something which we missed before, the owner told in stern words that they won't entertain additional orders which was very strange. The worst experience across any restaurant we have been over past 1 year in Luxembourg where most of the other restaurants are really warm, welcoming and friendly. I hope the owner really takes note (in fact needs a course on being soft spoken) on interacting with customers.

This place has been recommended to me by Luxembourgish people who have called it “the best Indian in Luxembourg”. Well… coming from a city where we have many, many, many Indian restaurants and a big Indian community : I’m afraid the standard of my Luxembourgish acquaintances is a bit low. Food was mediocre at best, the prices are way too high even for Luxembourg and especially for the portions. It’s not often that I leave an Indian restaurant feeling still hungry (it actually never even happened to me). As for the service, I’ve had mixed experiences ranging from neutral to unpleasant - but not as bad as some of the reviews here. Overall, I’d understand going there if you live/work nearby, want to eat Indian, and you don’t have time to go somewhere else. Otherwise: pass.

My recent visit to Royal Bengal in Luxembourg left me with a positive impression. I ordered the Jogan Rosh along with garlic naan, and I must say, they were quite good. The flavors were on point, and the meal was satisfying. Contrary to some previous reviews, I did not find the staff rude. In fact, they were attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was also cozy despite not being pretty, still making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. While I had a good experience overall, there is room for improvement that could potentially elevate this restaurant to greatness. Therefore, I'm giving Royal Bengal a 4/5 rating, reflecting my enjoyable visit and the tasty dishes I had.

Service déplorable. Le responsable a refusé de nous servir car nous ne commandions pas “assez proprement” et que nous n’allions donc pas dépenser autant qu’il l’aurait souhaité. Logique très intelligente qui veut qu’il refuse de nous servir et préfère donc perdre de l’argent plutôt que d’en gagner ne serait-ce qu’un minimum. Je tiens à précisé que nous avions tout de même commandé boissons plat et entrée mais que juste l’une d’entre nous souhaitait un dessert, car elle n’avait pas faim et cela ne lui as pas plus, surtout que le restaurant était vide. Trois clientes ne lui aurait donc pas fait de mal. Un manque de professionnalisme total, de plus que le responsable ne s’est pas gêné de nous parler sur un ton irrespectueux comme si nous étions des voleuses. Je ne recommande donc pas du tout ce restaurant.

We came to this place on Sunday around 7:30 pm from husband Game practice. I called for reservations but no one answered the phone. We walked in ,when told no reservations, o said I called but the owner replied we are really busy ,I wish people order less( like maybe be closed on Sunday or have more staff instead of being rude to a customer who just want to dine). This was our 2nd visit and when eating our papad, the waiter just comes and take our plates,while we were eating without uttering a single word( staff is really rude). Coming to food, the portions are very less for the price. The garlic naan are 5 eur each which is exorbitant even for Luxembourg. I feel as an Indian we are not welcomed in this INDIAN restaurant. You will find much better places elsewhere. The staff is rude and the food is ok .

I had a horrendous experience here and world definitely not recommend a visit on someone unless I detested them. The place is crowded and unruly which you can contend with if the staff were polite. But the staff is downright rude. My husband and I went there on a Friday night and we were left to our own devices to find a place. It was extremely cramped but we managed. Then a waiter ordered us to push our seats further in which wasn't possible and my husband indicated as much. But the waiter disagreed and rudely told him to do so. That was enough for us and we decided to leave to which his reaction was to hurl an invective at us as we left. I don't think any restaurant can be worth enduring such crass behaviour.

Je recommande, et ce, même avec les hausses de prix récentes qui le rendent quand même cher (environ + 3-4 euros sur les plats que je prends d'habitude en 2 ans). Au niveau de la nourriture, les plats sont vraiment délicieux (notamment le poulet tikka massala que je recommande vivement). De ce côté là, je pense que c'est le meilleur restaurant indien de la ville. Le service est rapide, le restaurant est propre. L'étoile en moins c'est par rapport au prix où je trouve que par rapport à la concurrence, le restaurant est quand même un peu plus cher, ce qui fait que j'y vais moins souvent qu'avant

First time eating here and will never come back again. The sauce from Tikka Massala was too creamy but tasted ok would give a 6/10 for the food. But what I want to highlight is their BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! The owner/cashier is very rude and doesn't even know how to greet a customer, say thank you or at least smile. When she gave me the receipt she just threw it. Never again. Never experienced this in an Indian restaurant here in Luxembourg where in my experience all other restaurants here are very very friendly.

Franchement pas terrible . Quand on est partis en Inde, on a du mal à manger des plats qui ne ressemblent en rien à ceux du pays . Le Mango lassi , c'était du lait avec de la mangue . I was with a friend of mine at lunchtime there and we ordered le plat du jour, which was really tasty (soup and vegetarian dish). The meal could be little hotter for my tasty but still very good. I enjoyed also the mango lassi and the mushroom soup was excellent. So yes we where satisfied which the food and the restaurant is cozy, clean with some Indian decoration. One highlight was also the garlic Naan bread, hmmm. Next time I want to try the cheese Naan...

First time ordering here and I ordered a Chicken Curry, very basic and simple. But my chicken curry was dry overcooked chicken that swam in the curry like a soup. I mean waaaay to liquid as a chicken curry and the taste was just bland. I could feel some spiciness but the rest of the taste was just aweful. Never gonna order here again! Sorry but if you can't do a normal chicken curry then you should just close the whole restaurant or get a new chef.

Le personnel laisse à désirer avec sa clientèle, un serveur qui n'est pas du tout à l'écoute et lorsque l'on pose une simple question c'est limite si on se fait agresser. Pour une meilleure fidelisation soyez plus souriants et surtout plus accueillants. Et à l'avenir pour éviter qu'on vous pose sans cesse la même question à savoir si votre restaurant est halal affichez le sur votre porte d'entrée ou dans la carte de votre menu!!!

Staff is very very very rude. Don’t know how to speak to a lady. We went to this restaurant at 12 pm on Sunday. Restaurant was completely empty and they made such a big deal of that we didn’t reserve the table. Guy at the reception doesn’t have any manners to talk to women. Very very very rude. If you are really in mood of Indian food then goto other restaurants in lux (Appayan) they have better food and very friendly staff.

The place is okay to visit. Still a good headroom for improvement for staff and food taste. Their biryanis generally are good. Sadly that’s the only good thing as well. Their paneer is always sweet and unlike an aunthentic Indian gravy infused dish. The naan and breads are okay. Can be much better. The place has lots of non-Indian visitors so we felt that waiters attend them more than they attend Indian customers!

I am giving 2 star. The food here has high dosages of artificially colored. I had this Tikka Masala. I happened to have in hand and after I washed, my fingers were orange in color. The manager can be polite when responding to customer concerns New update on 2 march - i recently went to this restaurant again .. i was pleasantly surprised with a very good panneer malai korma , dhanya naan and aloo paratha..

Not a truly indian samosas It's looking good like samosas but taste and texture of the samosas not a exactly Native Indian style if you didn't eat a native Indian samosas it's definitely good but if you are eat in native Indian style samosas it's not a good choice and you are not satisfied the taste and texture of the samosa I think native Indian samosas it's much more better than this samosas

Nous avons trouvé les plats relativement bons. Par contre pour le service c'est 0. Franchement, la serveuse qui fait une tête d'enterrement c'est tout sauf agréable. Quand on va au restaurant c'est toute l'expérience qui compte, et là ça gâche clairement le plaisir.

Head waiter was very rude and did not try to accommodate us. Restaurant wans not busy at 6:30pm (there were almost 10 open tables and 2 tables dining). We did not have reservations (didn't know we needed them) and he rudely told us we can't eat there. Made no attempt to be polite or helpful. Do not recommend. We left offended but found elsewhere with a better atmosphere to dine.

J'ai découvert la cuisine indienne grâce au Royal Bengal il y'a quelques années, depuis j'ai fait le tour de pas mal de ce qui est proposé au Luxembourg et je peux vous le dire : c'est pour moi le meilleur. Accueil sympa, cadre cool, terrasse au top et cuisine sans égal, le poulet tikka massala vaut le détour. Le tout à un prix plus qu'abordable au Luxembourg ! Merci Maz !

Pour moi le meilleur restaurant indien de la région...et bien plus encore. Les plats sont délicieux. Je conseille les sauces très relevées comme le curry madras ou le jhaalfrazy... Si vous êtes amateurs vous ne serez pas déçus. Et puis surtout ne pas passer à côté des cheese naans. Un délice ! Service sympa et efficace... J'adore y revenir autant que possible.

I've been a customer for years and the food has always been great. Other posts mention the owner to be rude but in my experience he's always open for a chat and will recognise you and greet you anywhere in the country. My favourite Indian restaurant in Luxembourg.

Slightly tame Indian restaurant. Only tried the take away though, so perhaps eating in provides a better experience. Nicely located near Place de France. We tried noth some chicken and vegetarian options, but noone was particularly amazed, and we generally love Indian food. Free Indian beer with take away over certain threshold was nice though.

C'est délicieux et plein de saveurs. Les prix sont raisonnables. La note aurait pu être considérablement plus élevée si l'attitude du responsable avait été meilleure durant le service.

Petit restaurant chaleureux. La cuisine est diversifiée et pleine de goût. Je ne suis pas un expert de la cuisine indienne, mais je peux certifier que les plats sont assez dépaysants pour y trouver son compte. L'accueil est agréable, le service est rapide et les prix dans la moyenne. À faire.

The management and service is not polite. We were 4 person and have ordered 5 starters. We have been forced to order at least 3 main dishes in not polite way. This is a very bad feeling especially when you visit a place for the very first time. Of course we did not visit again...

Favourite indian restaurant in town! The food is authentic and spicy dishes are hella spicy/hot...almost like India! This place is very popular and often full. In summer I enjoy eating in the relaxing backyard. The service is friendly and professional. Absolutely recommended!

Be careful when you order by phone. I ordered a dish, which on foostix is listed at a price, to be surprised with another price, around 20% more. I told them, and the poor waitress just told me, sorry, it's the manager.. FYI, it was an order for pick up, not for delivery.

Excellent restaurant indien, les plats sont bien préparés et frais. Nous avons commandé en livraison. On a été livré dans la demi-heure et les plats étaient délicieux et copieux. Seul bémol, le chilly chicken était trop pimenté et pourtant j'adore manger épicé

Rezepte zu europäisch angehaucht. Oder zu fade meiner Meinung. Sonst gabz okay.

So, it was my first visit, but surely not the last. The salmon was incredibly delicious, cheese bread was so savoury, so dawny! The service wasn't not quick but everything was just at time. Highly recommend!

J'ai l'habitude de commander et d'etre livre au bureau, service impeccable et nourriture delicieuse, on a je pense essaye tous les plats quant aux Nans, un vrai regal (mes preferres sont ceux au fromage).

Great indian restaurant! I came for a business visit and had difficulties with food also about halal food. I found this restaurant is good and it's matches our indian food taste really good.

I never sit in. Always do takeout. They Corma is to die for. Not sure about the Sheek Kebab, sometimes it's great, other times it's dry. The Naan is good but could be more authentic.

The food was mid. As far as authentic Indian food goes, this would be a 3/5. The service and the ambience was very good tho

I ordered Tikka Massala for lunch delivery with Foozu. It was at a discount supermarket quality (might as well be from a supermarket). And the portion was for like for a child.

Amazing service and food, very friendly staff and owners. They have elaborated their own really delicious sauces you cannot get anywhere else. Absolutely love it!!!!

Decent food. Lovely patio in back for fair weather meals. Great service. Some dishes lacked adequate seasoning but nice portions with take away options or delivery!

Liked the food a lot and it was served fast. Waiters speak French and English, place is clean... overall good. Could be a bit more cozy though.

Still yet to dine in but have eaten take-away many times. Food is consistently good. Not as spicy as what I've come to expect from Indian food.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Luxembourg. All Covid protections are fully respected. You can take away or eat inside the restaurant.

Super nice staff, great food (eat in or take away). They have put in place excellent Covid measures — or eat outside on their terrace!
