We went in to buy an amplifier for our car. 11-24-23, the guy asked if we were looking for new or used. We told him new. We didn't want anything used. He showed us an earthquake sound one. And we said ok. We took it home only to discover it was already used and missing pieces. I don't think it's ok to try and take advantage of people. Because the guy clearly pulled out one box, then quickly put it back and gave us another. When we got home. I saw the box had sharpied on it, Defected.... so tell me that was new... thankfully the guy there today gave us an actual new one. But don't think I'm coming back here for anything. Judging by other reviews its common practice. I also overhead the guy from when we went in, telling a customer they couldn't afford an item... tell me you are trying to help customers when that goes on.... review your business practices. Check who you have on staff. Cause based on all these reviews, your staff is not being helpful to customers. I hate leaving bad reviews... but had my bf been alone, he would've been screwed over. I can be fair and say the guy there today 11-25-23 was honorable and exchanged our item for a brand new one with minimal hassle. But I can't say the same for whoever was behind the counter yesterday.

Went in with my own kicker sub in a box with amp an in dash, a massive mess of cut and tangled wires, and a small budget. Not only did the installation guys clear the warzone of wires and make the system sound F%$$%%* AMAZING, but the owner took time(in an obviously busy day) to sit down & talk to me about what I really wanted out of a system and what my budget for that goal was then real quickly let me hear a few and gave me a roadmap of how to accomplish that over 3-6months component by component making it sound better and better with every new upgrade. When I looked at pricing it wasn't the most expensive item 1st matter if it was the cheapest tellietting me knowng he actually wanted me to enjoy it.WOW PRIDE IN WORK THAT STILL EXISTS. This guy truely has passion for what he does and he wants to see the true car stereo enthusiast drive off not just happy but excited like a kid on Christmas.Hope this helps you make your decision especially if you are a true car stereo enthusiast. I am surprised by the negative reviews. The last few times that I shopped for audio upgrades for my car and truck, via Amazon and by visiting brick and mortar stores I've always ended up purchasing my equipment and having the installation done at Royal Electronics. I haven't found a place that does what this place does for the price and quality. The owner asks what you're looking for and gives options within my price-range. He knows his stuff and will not steer you wrong. In fact when I had my truck stereo upgraded he advised against my installing 2 subs and an amp; in other words he had my best interest in mind, by not selling me the extra equipment. He made it clear that I could always come back and had an amp and subs put in if I wasn't satisfied with the deck and speakers that I had just bought. The installers know their stuff and have always done an exceptional job. I recommend Royal Electronics to anyone who wants to upgrade their system or have existing equipment installed the correct way.

I took my brand new car Honda Civic 2012 to this company and they RIPPED ME OFF big time. I was expecting for a decent camera, GPS, antenna and microphone which the owner claims he will provide. He OVER CHARGED ME $1380.00 for everything and the work is EXTREMELY POOR and he used REFURBISHED PARTS, DESTROYED THE DASH BOARD of my stereo, USED PART OF MY OLD STEREO and USED SUPER GLUE to ATTACHED PARTS. I went to a different company to reassessed the damage that this company made and I ended up paying more to fix the issues. If I can post pictures of his bad job, I would definitely post it. He is a complete LIAR, DISHONEST, and a COMPLETE THIEF. I HATE THAT I ENDED UP WITH A CRAPPY, UGLY, and ALMOST NON FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT. He also did not return the brand new stereo of my new car, and he DID NOT GIVE ME THE REMOTE FOR THE GSP/STEREO. BAD WORK, BAD PARTS/BAD JOB! I hope someone will sue him for ripping people off.

Recently I went to this place to reconnect my system the owner ended up selling me new amplifiers and speaker's for my door since the "Didn't work* he gave me a set price to replace everything brand new and he said professionaly done.It was just red flags all over ,at end of the day he installed used items on my truck and uses open box speakers Wich they looked like 5years old plus!!I called him back to tell him and he didn't want to talk to me at all anymore .I reported him for fraud in My Bank..STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS THEY WILL TAKE YOURE MONEY I'm having my bank deal with this issue but stay away from this place he will scam you and over charge you for everything

As a business owner with a fleet of 17 vehicles I seek professionalism with everyone I deal with, a friend recommended this place and I brought over one vehicle for alarm installation, the staff is very knowledgeable and honest, the installation was clean and fast, they earned my business and I brought over more vehicles. Now, the quality of a business should be measured by the service after the installation is done, i had an issue with one of the cars and I thought it was connected to the alarm system, I brought it over and within 30 minutes I had it fixed even though it wasn't connected to the alarm system at all, it was a relay that they replaced for no charge.

I have had several car stereo's installed, as well as windows tinted at Royal. I only have positive feedback, as I am always treated like a customer and the work is always completed as I expected. I'm a very detailed and picky person, so if the work was not done to my standard. I would not write a review like this. I really like to quick response to any issue I bring up. Even the simple ones, where in most cases, I customized my install based on what I wanted, like apple TV movie play through my car TV's. These guys are very responsive and professional. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Do not do bussiness with this establishment. The owner /staff very rude and unprofessional. If you do buy stuff from them. Make sure you ask for your old items otherwise they will use and keep the new items you just bougth. Bought a viper alarm and to cut the storu short. The supposedly tech guy finished in 10 min because he used my old alarm module etc. The only i received new are the x2 remotes. I complained to the owner an he statted cursing and screaming.

I Am totally disappointed in this place!!! i wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.. lol or would i ? haha ya very bad experience and after you pay them they make you suffer with it. or make an appointment to try and fix it but it doesn't get fixed lol so ya im outt $190.00 on something that costs 35.00 online to order (new).... very sad! since i think this place installs defective things then doesn't want to refund the money because they installed it.. doesn't make sense to me ; (

I Came all the way from Fresno to get some kicker speakers on my 2021 Chevy Silverado. I was recommended by a friend from Gilroy to come here, and I do gotta say that they did a great job on my truck. The sound sounds great, bass is perfect, and pretty much the whole sound was up to my liking. Also, I was able to get a discount from the workers here since I came from Fresno, and I appreciate that. Overall, they did an excellent job .

This Shop owner , Got the best Customer service and best prices in town. i wanted to put some nice Kicker Comp speakers and Kicker Amp in my 2021 Acadia AT4 & He helped me out and put in exactly what I wanted & gave it to me with the best shop In town. & was true to his word on the price. If you need amazing quality work and amazing customer service come to Royal Electronics. You will not be disappointed.

The owner told me I should buy from him instead of best buy because best buy gives good deal on stereo but then charges extra for adapters & dongles. After I paid 425 for my stereo he told me it wouldn't be compatible with my steering wheel controls unless I purchased a $160 adapter. He said this without a trace of irony. The install was exceptionally clean but the sale was shady. I won't go back.

I won’t go anywhere else for a car electronics. I had an issue with my car door lock, and after visiting three other places I went to Royal Electronics and they were the only ones that gave me an option to not have to get a whole new alarm system and save money. They even inspected my car door lock for free to tell me what the issue was. Roy and his crew are great and I recommend them to anyone.

In my own self experience Roy and the employees here helped get me quality products that wouldn't break my pocket understood exactly what i was looking to do and even gave me a exceptional price on installation and not to mention very clean wiring job only problem i found is finding a way to thank them enough for the service I’d recommend coming here then any other local audio store

Terrible service, I went there 3 weeks ago , one of the workers and the owner were kind of pushed me to buy quick! They don’t give you time to look around and choose the options they have. I am the type of person that when I buy something and see several options, I need time , I can’t just come and pick wherever ! Anyways really bad customer service!

They totally ripped me off & dont offer any returns. There scam artist. I didn't see anywhere or here the employee say that. The fine print on the receipt is not enough. I could technically sue them for this. The owner is super rude and gives poor customer service, this was shocking to me. I know I'm never coming back here ever again there scammers

Not sure why so low ratings. I went to get some work done on yesterday. These guys were extremely professional, accommodating, and offered reasonable price . I was in a jam and had to return to work. The owners offered transport me to work , while they installed my speakers and deck. I'll definitely be doing business with them in the future.

Bad service!! I took my stereo to get installed with this people ,then i asked if it coulbe done and if their installation would have a warranty and they say yes !! One day after the installation my stereo started to fail !! I went back and the ower said that it has no warranty !! His actitud was arrogant towars me right away!!

The customer service from the workers was great, helpful and friendly. However, I don't trust the "manager". I felt like he simply made me buy a new amplifier I didn't need. He did not explain what was wrong with the old one but simply said it was broken. I recommend going somewhere else, even if you end up paying a bit more.

I came in wanting to add some bass speakers and new speakers on the passenger side because I listen to loud LOUD music with lots of bass. The owner hooked me up with a fat bass system and brand new speakers to go with them! He was friendly and very helpful... and kept everything in my price range. Loveeee my car now!

Went to Royal electronics to have them upgrade my Midrange for my Honda accord and the owner Roy guided me and is very intelligent in what he does. The end result was a crystal clear midrange couldn’t be any happier !!!
