AVOID!! I had made a complaint about my food having a black HAIR in it! When I rang the takeaway to complain they mentioned that the only way I could get a refund was to give the food back to them. I took the food back, having thrown away what was on my plate, the owner (arrogant guy cooking in the back), refused to give a refund as the containers had been touched. They would only offer a refund for one dish. Who in their right mind would want to eat the rest of the food knowing that there was a hair in it?! Terrible service and terrible food. The owner also needs to learn about customer service!

Was first time I ordered and was really excited over the mix grill meal as my partners fancied one for ages and we barely get out to go for meals I had Bbq ribs was really disappointed watery sauce I felt like Iv eaten chips and water the ribs has hardly any meat and was really over cooked . The mix grill was all over cooked and rubbery and the mixed grill contained smoked bacon 2 sausage and a small peice of steak again swimming in watery sauce Money wasted now having to eat somthing else as still hungry and the food was bad really disappointed actually regretted ordering il stick to evergreen on the queslett road in future as there sauce is nice and thick and has taste

Just got home from my 3rd 12 hour shift in the hospital, saving lives and too tired to cook so I ordered a meal and had the wrong thing delivered. I rang up and spoke to them nicely and explain I was sent the wrong order. They later came with the right order but the food was cold , big chunks of boil chicken and pork thrown in literally like from the freezer to the takeaway container. I started to eat and just been sick !!! Rang to say what have they sent me and why’s the rice cold and all I get was sorry won’t happen again.... Sorry ruby I’m very disappointed ☹️

I collected the food and waited for 5 mins as it wasn't ready. Considering it had just been cooked, chips weren't hot, curry sauce was really lumpy and not alot of taste. I asked for plain chow mein and got onions and beansprouts in it and was utterly tasteless. The egg fried rice was OK. I will never be ordering again from here.

Probably spend about £700 a year at Ruby, usually having delivery, I stopped on my way home to pick up a takeaway for one, as usual I paid on my bank card, about £11. The person behind counter told me they do not accept card payments under £ 15, he said he would allow it this time but in future it would need to be cash! Thanks Ruby, you have just lost a customer.

My choice every time - (even if it means driving a little further). I originally came to Ruby after visiting it's sister takeaway in Harborne. The food is always good and the service is as fast as you could expect from this type of takeaway. Very friendly service and they usually remember who I am. Best Chinese / Cantonese Takeaway this side of Birmingham

Used this place for years, I must go at least once a month. Food is always great, good portions and they have never got an order wrong. I always go in to collect and they are always very friendly and clearly very busy. You can see the place is clean as they have an open kitchen behind the counter. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone.

This was our regular takeaway until recently, found a huge thick black hair in my meal. I phoned to tell them and was asked what I wanted them to do about it! No apology! They brought me my replacement meal an hour and 10 minutes later after the rest of my family had finjshed their meals. Appalling customer service. Will not be using again.

Very Bad Service, avoid. Ordered a starter and 2 dishes. Starter was incorrect, Main veg dish was incorrect , main meat dish was sweet and sour when a spicy dish was ordered. As all 3 were wrong , I called up to complain , the lady said will deliver the correct order but never did . WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AVOID.

We found a thick black hair in the food & also on another previous occasion & have decided that in future we shall go elsewhere. We usually have a Takeway (or sit in) each week from a local Indian restaurant, who we've used for years, and NOT ONCE have we ever found a hair in their food. Not good enough. :(

Lived in Sutton most my life (I'm 30) and only just tried this place for the first time. Ordered the munchie box for £18 which also included egg fried rice (not in the photo) and it was incredible. Highly recommend!

Food was surprisingly a half hour early and very fresh. Loved it. Got wings, crab and sweet corn soup,The duck which had crispy skin and very moist meat. Got special curry, fired rice and fires. Very good! Would get again for sure

Very Sorry too say, but had a takeaway on new years eve and it was dreadful beef in black bean greasy and soggy, cold chips say no more! Have been a regular customer but after this not too sure I'll come back again!

Thought the food wasn't too bad until I came across a thick, black hair coming out of the spring roll I was eating! The sight of it put me off the rest of my food and subsequently ever coming back to this takeaway!

Bought chicken curry rice and chips from here and bit in to a thin strip of metal about 2inches long phoned to complain they refused to refund me will never order from here again disgusting.

Open 7 days a week. Food was very tasty. Would recommend.

Vile! Some of the chicken in my curry was mushy and tasted very strange, whilst other pieces were crunchy, like out of date chicken. Threw it all in the bin. Never again.

Just had chicken curry, worse I’ve ever had. Chicken tasted boiled and soggy with fatty skin on and curry was pale and tasteless. Won’t be ordering from there again!

Rice looked like it was warmed up in microwave as did the pot of curry sauce

This is a really nice Chinese takeaway but be warned you can wait up to two hours for delivery at busy times. That's the only negative point I can raise.

Sorry, just had a very poor meal from this takeaway. Cooked fresh from ordering in shop. Congealed food, poor quality and not too warm. Not good.

Food was standard and the sesame prawn toast was not cooked all the way through..it was a bit gooey and tasted more like chicken.
