Fantastic stadium! We visited this stadium for the 2023 Gauteng School Athletics in March 2023. The track is in great condition. The field was well prepared, but the long jump pits need attention: The triple jump hole fillers are not stable and caused some athletes discomfort in their run-ups. The sand can do with a top-up in all four pits. Inside the main building the lighting, especially around the steps, is very limited. This makes the use of the stairs quite uncomfortable and possibly even dangerous.

The track is beautifull as always but the building itself needs urgent maintenance. Restrooms is disgusting. We visited for the 2023 Gauteng Provincial championships and I was quite alarmed by the disorganised state of where the food venders were. The power was laid with cables over walkways and grass between the visitors. These are basics that could have been done to make the experience 5 stars

The stadium facilities are diverse but not very well maintained. The toilets smell terrible, food vendors didn’t look appealing, security was rude and didn’t seem to know where to direct people to we sat outside for ages - maybe we just had a bad experience

Great venue for any outdoor event, parking in abundance, secure access, seating and lawns to be used. The view from the stadium is awesome with sunrise and there is more than enough open space around for hosting trail running or Mtb riding.

The stadium is very run down. No toilet paper ever. Doors don't work in the bathroom and some toilets are missing doors. Also sometimes there's a terrible smell of sewerage. Just another example of what we pay taxes for. Shocking

Ladies restrooms were ill maintained. Male and female restrooms were flooded. I wouldn't recommend rendering the stadium with a vehicle that has low ground clearance as it will damage your vehicle.

It's a sad sight to see a world class stadium turn into such dilapidation. The grass has not been cut in months, there is litter all over and everything else is just going down the drain.

Bathrooms are in need of repair. Two of the big spotlights on the track were not working so some of the athletic events of the evening had to be cancelled as it was too dark.

Bcoze I came out no. 1 all my yearsf for 7 Years and they tell me no I am not no. 1 cause of the track takes my time when I run how I don't know so I hate Ruimsig since then

Nice plase to go fishing at the back there is a nice small dam and air plane fields were u can fly remote planes and a dam for bass and carp. But mast use boillie

The facilaties does not look good! The grass are long. This is really a disgrace that Roodepoort town council could not keep their hands on this lovely stadion!

Typical government building , not taken care of and very long Grass and the track is falling apart especially by the start of the 100meters

Not great. Not enough toilets for the amount of people the stadium can accommodate. Some plumbing maintenance would not go amiss either.

Really nice place for training and exercise, but the track has lost a lot of it's grip and I would slip a lot on the start of the race.

Stadium in disrepear, the rudest manager ever, does nothing blames everybody for his poor performance, requesting a meeting is futile.

I'm assuming a lack of funding has prevented maintenance of the facilities. Pitch is in poor condition and the locker room facilities.

Absolutely great place to go to. Nice stadium in the heart of Roodeport area. Everyone Must visit this place. Highly recommended.

Its is dirty and look terrible The fence is getting stolen off bit by bit I will feel ashame if I am the manager of this facility

Good venue with outstanding facilities. Great atmosphere and everything you need and expect from a stadium hosting big events.

I had a superb experience with my training at Rumsig Stadium, I will definitely be going back for more training every morning

It's a great place. It's a great Venu to host events, but building interior not up to standards. Toilets need to be fixed..

Compared to other stadiums in the PTA/JHB area, it is clean. Has lots of space as well. A lot of potential for large events

The toilets are not the greatest space in the stadium. Makes it every uneasy to go into. The Jozi festival was fabulous

The track and field are in a good condition. The buildings and infrastructure itself need a major maintenance program.

Security is a big problem at the Stadium...they have tried to steel someone's Hilux in the middel of the parking area.

I've been participating in athletics events at Ruimsig since about 2010 so this is a very special place for me

The stadium is in a very poor state. It looks like very little maintenance has been done over the years

Found the perfect place for track work nice and busy everyone just doing there thing which was awesome

No events anymore, the place is falling apart. Sad. Was a really great place a few years ago.

Sound system was not working the whole day. But awesome experience for the school kids.
