Best dang shuffleboard in Portland!! The Rumpus Room in Portland is a quintessential dive bar with a few unexpected twists. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, and the bar is home to two full-size shuffleboard tables that are kept in great condition. But what really sets the Rumpus Room apart is the surprisingly good Asian-inspired food Dive bar food. And for those who like a little extra excitement with their drinks, the bar also has a few slot machines. Overall, the Rumpus Room is a fun and unique spot to grab a drink and some delicious eats.

It was my first visit there, I don't know why I waited so long to go, I remember as a youth driving past that odd named bar, laughing at the name wondering what really went on in a place with a name like that. And with my best friend Brooke leading the way she showed me one of Portlands best kept secrets. Visit it today, you surely won't be disappointed, classically PDX weird.

It’s fine. Dive in a way that only an East Portland dive can be. Meaning, patrons are there for the lotto, and decent amount of tweakers, junkies and homeless who are seemingly regulars. Decent prices tho, and the bartenders are always friendly. It has potential to be better if they could get rid of some of the scum. Also: fix the sign! The neon is great. Wish it worked.

Maybe the new years eve crowd was light this evening but it wasn't very inviting nor very well supported. It's a nice establishment and I'm sure on the right night is very popular. But tonight it was a warm place to stop and I'm. Sure I'll go back if I'm in that part of town again.

Great place! But bartender Justine tried to ripe off 6$ more on a single beer. She thought I was rude by mentioning that I wasn't with the party in front of me who started talking to me before but refused to ask to make sure. Called me rude and then double charged me for a single beer my first visit there. More

A local haunt that's been around for a long time time. It proves to be friendly, comfortable and very down home. A nice place to have a drink and play some video poker. Recommend this place to visit alone or in a group.

there was a review that mentioned tweaker regulars? that is not the control of the bar. it is a laid back and awesome bartenders. each one tries to make conversation and you and your crew. cheap drinks and awesome prices for higher end alcohol. would recommend if you're not into the big scene.

I ordered food and was waiting for it to come and the food never arrived. I asked if it was ready and they never got it started. The waitress who took the order never came over to apologize for not getting the order in. She gave the money to someone to give back to me without saying anything.

Good place, Needs more customers though since COVID came into effect it Ruined a lot of these small businesses and need people to stop in and spend a few bucks on food, video poker. Keep these small businesses operating. Good workers here too, and very professional.

My favorite place ever. Love love love the bartender at night he is fabulous and the fact they have shuffleboard and people really enjoying it from beginners to serious tournament players that are more that happy to help u understand the game. Chill place 10 stars

We went on a night with live music, so it was louder than we had wanted, but the bartender was amazing. He was attentive even though they were busy, shared stories, and even showed me something interesting on his phone. Will definitely go back.

Great dive in bar with affordable prices. Karaoke is Thursday nights and live music on Friday nights. There are 2 shuffleboard tables and a pool table. There are some Oregon lottery machines inside. Staff is friendly and quick on their feet.

The quintessential dive bar. If you like shuffleboard they have it here. The bartenders are pretty cool too. But don't go for the food. They have some good drink specials and karaoke on Saturday Sundays and Tuesday nights which is awesome

I love the Rumpus Room. It's one of my favorite places to go and unwind. The food is fabulous. The video poker is great. Plus they have shuffle board, and live music on the weekends. And the owner is friendly. It's overall just AWESOME!!!

It's a little divey but I think it's fun. Has a small town bar kind of feel. The bartender Alaric is always nice, and works fast. The shuffleboard is a cheap way to stay occupied between karaoke songs. And the mozzarella sticks are bomb.

Drinks are great price, but the Karaoke host doesn't pay attention enough and he turns the volume on your microphone down whenever he pleases, which I find highly irresponsible. Other than that I don't have any other complaints.

Great bartenders any shift! The attitude of the bartenders makes or breaks a place I go to relax. Every bartender in this bar has been curious, kind and attentive. Easy place to feel at home each time I have gone.

By far the best vibes of all the bars in the area. Crowd is friendly, bar tenders were cool. Really solid bar food -- corn dogs, jalapeno poppers, etc. A genuine, basic neighborhood bar with a good heart.

The Rumpus Room is a great place to see local bands perform free. The people who run the bar are very nice and friendly. I'd recommend this venue location to anyone who loves to rock out!!

This bar is punk rock. Got every song, where eagles dare, hallowed by thy name. F- yeah. Servers are legit, cheap (good) food. Heart of Portland right here.

One of my favorite bars in Southeast Portland. Bar tenders are pretty cool and I like how their video poker is set up.

This place is amazing. The food is typical bar fare in a conventional oven but the shuffle board is amazing.

Cool bar. Has 3 shuffle board tables, you can reserve for $6 an hour. Pleasent severs and live music.
