Took my MY06 WRX for timing belt job and front wheel bearing. Additional parts and services: water pump, tensioner and a pulley with a radiator hose. That was okey as I am not sure if those old seals and pulley also other stuff was any good, but I bet they didn’t take the car for a test drive that’s why they didn’t bother getting me a new wheel bearing (It’s really bad). I had to drive home with grinding wheels. Worst part: Thought the grinding might lessen if i set more -camber. Realised my Front Right Wheel lug nuts are barely tight enough. When jacked up, I did took em off by bare hands. Total bill: 1520$$ (timing belt kit job) I am gonna say they are very unprofessional as we all know the danger of a loose wheel driving at a speed of 80kmph. Now, I am really worried if they have enough torqued my pulleys and hose clamps, all the other bits they loosened. Really bad experience with a cost of 1520$. Would not consider for any future trips there.

AS RUDE AS THEY COME! A friend of mine has a set of Silvers coil overs in his SUV and highly recommends them. I called SJ Automotive as they are listed on the Silvers Suspension website as the "Exclusive SA Dealer, All Dealer enquiries must go via SJ Automotive". I called SJ Automotive via the link from the Silvers Suspension website. I explained to the lady who answered the phone what I was after. She laughed at me and then passed the phone onto a man who said (quote) "I'll stop you right there, we only work on Subaru's here". You're meant to be running a business here champ. When you look up a restaurant online, would you take the family to one with 3 stars? This is the same effect negative Google reviews will have on your business.

I heard good things about S&J. I decided to call them to ask questions & hopefully get my Evo 7 booked in for a manual conversion. I assume it was the owner who I spoke too after the reception passed me over to him. I didn't get a "hello" or anything. He answered the phone so rude & basically told me that he has no interest in helping me for a conversion & told me to sell it and buy a manual one. Thankfully I didn't listen to him. My father & me worked on it and she's sweet. I would've loved to come in for regular servicing & more work to my Evo as i've heard good things... but my experience wasn't good & i didn't feel welcome by S&J.

From servicing to tuning and from installing simple to hard bolt on upgrades, Sean and the team at S&J Automotive have done an exceptional job at looking after me and my pride and joy. S&J have been great to deal with from the start. Quick and easy, they deliver what they say they are going to without any fuss. One of the best things about this place is that they have a great range of experience and knowledge as to where the sweet spot is between more power and reliability. Just had a new exhaust and tune done here on my daily driver giving it a nice increase in power in the lower rev range. Very happy with the entire experience and result.

Hawkeye STi had cracked dump pipe and a major service due. The team were awesome with communication and explanation and never pressured you to purchase any required parts. They even helped me out with the labour costs, as in the end the new dump pipe wouldn't fit to my existing system, so a joining pipe was needed. Very grateful and would recommend to any subaru lover who wants to treat there car right.

Someone conned me and sold me a dodgy unroadworthy car. The team at S and J saved my life! Fixed up my car to be roadworthy and something I now look forward to driving. S and J are a fast and reliable team, with great communication and kept me updated every step of the way. 5 stars doesn’t feel like it’s enough, couldn’t be more appreciative of their hard work and accomodation.

Sean and the awesome gang at S&J are truly professional at what they do i went not nowing nothing about a suby that i had inherited from my late father sean and the gang of Legends serviced suby dyno tuned the blue bullet all with no fuss but what stands out most in my mind is the absolute level of honesty these guys and girls are a no B/S outfit and i cant thank them enough

My first experience with these guys! They value their reputation, gave me solid advice, some cheaper alternatives for some future mods, SUPER happy with their service. They are SUPER NICE. Recently purchased a Subaru Liberty that needed a lot of work. Was originally quoted 4-5K to fix at other mechanics. These guys did it for half the price and I can't be more impressed at the work performed, their professional and nice and easy to deal with. I will only be taking my car to them in the future. Have had nothing but quality customer service & work done to my cars with Shaun & the team at SnJ! Absolute professionals! Was chasing an issue for days with no idea what the cause was so rang up & got car booked within 2days. Left car with them & they found the issue with no charge for the 4+ hours they had it. Huge thanks to Dan & Matt from S&J for fitting me in at 6:30am on a Saturday morning, after contacting them at 5pm the night before to replace a hub flange and wheel bearing. Managed to get back to parc ferme just in time for day 2 of the Adelaide Rally. I've been living interstate for over a decade, and their service is still A1!

Absolute legends! Sean in particular is a top bloke and has gone the extra mile for me, I’ve been a bit of a pain in their a** asking them to tweak my new exhaust’s noise level to my liking a couple of times and they have been excellent. You may get a slightly cheaper price elsewhere but having that sort of support is worth it!

My car has been serviced, maintained and modded by S&J for the past couple of years (Toyota 86), and they have always been absolutely fantastic to deal with, most recently for panel work. Sean, Matt and Zoe are the best people to deal with if you have a boxer engined car! It’s a busy workshop because - they are the best!

Absolutely love the new exhaust and tune up S&J performed on my 2018 Wrx Sti this week. It sounds and goes awesome. On top of their great work they back up the remainder warranty that Subaru void once you tune your car. That is service with confidence.

Great service. Know their stuff. Price to swap a gearbox was good and the mechanic went the extra mile to swap best bits of the old box. Mechanic called to discuss other issues he noticed that would have been cheaper to do now with the box out.

They did a good job and kept me informed however the job ended up costing almost twice as much as quoted. Will probably return for other work though as they were pleasant to deal with.

Won’t be taking my STI back, especially when they’re supposed to rotate your tyres and do a wheel alignment but write down that they have on your service and it hasn’t been done.
