We booked a 16-day trip to Peru and Ecuador through SA—great experience. In Peru, highlights included a day trip to Palccoyo; a day hiking Choquechaca & Pumamarka; and (of course) Machu Picchu. Palccoyo was a hidden gem, far surpassing our expectations. While the day trip to these rainbow mountains is long, the scenery en route is beautiful and it’s worth the drive. Visiting Choquechaca and spending time with the community (Valentine and fam) was such a fun day and they were such lovely people; would definitely recommend working this into any itinerary. Machu Picchu also surpassed expectations, and we added on a hike of Huayna Picchu because WHY NOT. In Ecuador/the Galapagos, we decided to do a land-based stay instead of a cruise. SA partnered with the Galapagos Safari Camp to make our stay amazing and memorable. We were in the Galapagos for about five full days, and went scuba diving for two days, did day trips to other islands for two days, and explored the main island (Santa Cruz) for one day. Galapagos Safari Camp was a great location with five-star service, incredible food and hospitality. Can’t go wrong in the Galapagos except to not stay long enough (we agreed we could have easily spent another day or two there). Planning-wise, Sarah with SA made our lives so easy and tolerated our requests every step of the way, and more importantly, she made them happen! She was always ready to provide us with options, information and an updated itinerary. A process so suspiciously easy we thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn’t! She checked in with us up until our trip departure, kept tabs on us throughout the trip (even when we didn’t know it), and followed up with us after. We covered a large area on our trip that included lots and lots of transfers, hotels, flights, etc., and we didn’t have one hiccup. Our SA guides in each city were great. Whether we were with them for one day or nearly a week, I was always sad to say goodbye! They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and they each tolerated my terrible sense of humor for the duration of the trip. Celestine in Lima, Juan in Cusco (and our driver, Romulo!!), and our guides in Choquechaca (Valentine and Teofila) – all quality folks. We had one of the best travel experiences through SA Expeditions. Julia Steck was our travel coordinator at SA Expeditions. She has gone above and beyond to meet our travel needs. We just completed South America Tour for 19 days. It covered three countries, Brazil, Argentina and Peru. We customized our tour. We were five couples. Below is my reasoning for giving five stars to SA Expeditions: • Our tour was booked for travel in April 2020. However, we could not travel because of COVID. SA Expeditions took care of all cancellations and rebooked us for new travel dates in 2022. We did not pay anything extra for our new travel dates. • We made several changes to our itinerary, such as adding 3 days for Amazon Forest. Julia recommended and accommodated all our changes. • We had 6 internal flights, several train rides and a bus ride. We had no issues with any of the connections. For internal flights within South America, all our boarding passes were kept ready. • All tour guides were extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the people and places that we were visiting. They were speaking English fluently. All of them were professional and courteous. • Despite of our unique dietary needs, where some of us are vegan and some were not eating onions and garlic, we had absolutely no issues getting our unique vegetarian meal. • For one internal flight, we paid extra money for luggage. SA Expedition agreed to reimburse these costs. Among all places that we stayed, we liked Wish resort in Iguazu, Inkaterra in Puerto Maldonado, and Antigua Casona San Blas in Cuzco. I would say SA Expeditions is one of the best when it comes to your travel needs in South America. Again thanks to Julia for giving us the best experience.

Informative Journey into South American Culture Following our cancelled trip to the Middle East, we were left with two weeks to plan another Itinerary. We came across SA Expeditions after doing a web search into South America. I emailed and soon after we were talking to an extremely knowledgeable travel representative from SA Expeditions. After two lengthy phone conversations, SA Expeditions was able to confirm every detail of our trip in spite of such short notice. SA Expeditions put together an amazing Itinerary that focused on the natural, historical and cultural highlights of each place we visited. Other than the amazing places we visited in Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Buenos Aires, the Machu Picchu region and Lima, Peru, what most impressed us was the quality of the individual guides that were assigned us at each location. We were met at the airport and whisked away to our hotel for a good nights sleep or to begin our tour. Following the end of our tours in each location, we were once again escorted to the airport and accompanied until we went through security. There was never a moment of stress or anxiety as we were guided throughout our time in South America. The level of knowledge and expertise of the local guides was second to none. Not only did we learn about the local sight seeing highlights but we also learned a great deal about the history, culture and present day living situations within each area we visited. When we parted from each of our guides, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend! Would I recommend SA Expeditions again? Absolutely!!

My family's trip to the Galapagos was truly the trip of a lifetime that will pay us dividends for years to come. We were floored by how smooth the planning was, how incredible all of our guides were, the wonderful interactions with everyone we met, and the level of detail and attention paid to us across the board. All the logistics were smooth, the accommodations were lovely and exactly as described, the food was perfect and delicious (we actually needed vegan options for 11 people and they made it happen!), the adventures chosen were doable for all family memories (ages 9 through 75), the itinerary gave us a wide range of landscapes and settings so we were always seeing something new and different, and all the hand-holding during the planning process to map out cruise options and land portion options and really settle on a 12-day excursion that would suit our exact desires was just unreal -- we were treated like royalty every step of the way and are so lucky to have found SA Expeditions. Their whole team is fantastic! We worked with Matt Greenberg and cannot recommend him highly enough! Seriously, out of all the traveling I've done in my life, I have never been so impressed by a holistic experience. I have been back for over a month and I'm still dreaming about that time away and still reeling from how perfectly everything went. If I could give them 100 stars I would. They went out of their way to build the adventure of a lifetime, and they delivered. We love them and will be in gratitude to them forever!

Our trip with SA Expeditions to Peru was fantastic, starting with the planning process 7 months before we left the US. Helen got on the phone with us to talk about the kind of things we like and don’t like and incorporated our feedback into a very special itinerary. Each of the hotels we stayed in were lovely and we could have spent a week in several of them. Our guide in Lima, Carlos, was very knowledgeable and shared his restaurant and shopping recommendations for the evenings we had on our own. He helped us appreciate the city much more than we would have otherwise. Our trip to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cuzco was magical, made all the more special by our guide, Johan. He accompanied us for the entire week, taking the train with us to and from Machu Picchu and explaining everything we saw along the way in excellent English. Johan took us off the beaten path a few times, such as visiting a Chicheria in a small village in the Sacred Valley, and he always knew the best way to avoid crowds at the tourist sites. We really enjoyed his company, which is very important when spending so much time with another person. Our driver, Gilberto, was pretty great too. From what we could tell, SA goes out of its way to support the communities we visited, including having an intern join us for a day of touring in Cuzco. We would definitely recommend SA to anyone visiting Peru or elsewhere in South America.

Our trip to SA was spectacular!! We enjoyed every bit of it and undoubtedly the best trip we've ever been on. All the details of arrangements were very well thought out and documented in the link, for convenient reference (which we used quite often). The pickups were always on schedule and the hotels were well-appointed and located conveniently close to city centers for easy access to restaurants!! The tour guides were all outstanding and made every effort to show us all the attractions and went out of their way to please us. Their knowledge of the history and background of the attractions was very impressive. We were also touched by the few special events consisting of wine cheese service on the salt flats and sunsets. It took me a few hours to get used to the "All Inclusive" stops and they were great once I understood how they work, they were outstanding. All the hotels were great and some exceeded our expectations, such as the one at El Calafate, Los Torres, and San Pedro Atacama. Thank you for those selections. Certainly, we spoke very highly of SA Expeditions to many of the travelers we came across and they took note of the details. My husband and I went to Peru for our 5-year wedding anniversary. We wanted to do something outdoorsy but also relaxing and romantic. We chose Peru for its beautiful culture, incredible food, and unbeatable excursions. Our trip planner, Julia, and our guide, Johan, were both absolutely amazing. The trip was perfectly planned from start to finish. We got to kick it in Lima and have delicious meals, explore and relax in the Sacred Valley, hike up the short Inca trail to Machu Picchu, and discover beautiful, ancient Cusco (hands-down the coolest city!). We felt so taken care of the entire week. We never felt rushed but still felt able to see and do everything that was important to us. We learned so much about the Incan culture from him and are so grateful to have had such a personal introduction to the country of Peru. We had a perfect trip to Argentina thanks to Julia at SA! We decided to go on this massive trip only days before, and Julia was able to put together an extensive itinerary to 4 different cities, with multiple flights, and secured us nice rooms in the best hotels. She was also able to switch our destinations around after we found out our flight to Argentina was delayed a day. We had a fantastic time and got to do all the things we wanted to. Every hotel was fantastic. Our BA hotel was exactly what we were looking for in Palermo, a cool part of town that feels a little more local than where the major hotel chains are; the resort in Bariloche was unbelievably beautiful right on the lake, and Llao llao was probably the coolest experience we have ever had. Guides and drivers met us at the airport. We speak Spanish but we definitely didn’t need to as all of our guides were fluent in both. This was our first time using a travel agency and we would definitely do it again. Julia truly went above and beyond in her recommendations, and we are grateful she even worked outside of business hours to make our last minute changes happen seamlessly.

My experience with SA Expeditions has been reliably excellent. We traveled to the Amazon and the Galapagos July 2023. Claudia planned the trip with care and all tours, guides, accommodations were wonderful. The Napo Wildlife Eco-Lodge was beautiful, food was plentiful and delicious, the resort rooms were well appointed and the guides were helpful and interesting. My granddaughters were spellbound by the jungle and even got a little used to the bugs! The Galapagos cruise with the Ocean Spray was even better than the last time I was aboard in 2019. The catamaran has been refurbished but all the great things about it are still present. The staff was helpful, fun and their attention to details made me comfortable entrusting my teenage granddaughters in their care during snorkeling and kayaking in the ocean! Food was excellent and the naturalist guide was informative and serious about showing us his islands. All the transfers, air flights and tours were planned and seamless. I had no worries and highly recommend this company.

The trip was fantastic, beyond amazing. Much of it due to all the work Julia put in arranging everything! The things that stand out for me are the hotels, especially the hotel in Cusco, which we LOVED, the seemingly seamless transfers from place to place, and the wonderful guides. Both were excellent, especially the guide who worked with the younger (under 30) people in our group. He bonded with the younger people immediately, and had such a great manner with them. I got to spend about 2 hours with him at Macchu Picchu after he and Juan determined I would not be able to make the ascent to the top; so I had a private tour with Juan Oscar. He was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and so considerate of an older lady with arthritic knees. Juan was also very friendly and helpful. I’m still trying to absorb all the impressions from this trip. What a country. The food, the mountains, the people. This truly was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you for all of your hard work arranging everything.

We went to Peru to see the Amazon and Macchu Picchu. We had an amazing time we loved the itinerary, the guides were so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The drivers did an excellent job and the sites were incredible! Rene was our first guide in the Amazon and he did a great job leading us on various expeditions. The cabanas we stayed at were perfect and the food was delicious! Johan was our guide from Cusco to Macchu Picchu, he seemed to know the answer to every question we had and really seemed invested in us gaining the most out of our trip. He was an excellent guide and we really appreciated his expertise on our tours. Macchu Picchu was incredible and beautiful and we loved learning about the history and culture. Our guide Miguel in Lima was also great he was very friendly and knowledgeable and wanted us to have the best experience we could have in our short time in Lima. We would definitely book another trip through SA and would recommend others to go through them as well.

Julia helped us organize a wonderful week in Argentine Patagonia. We started our trip with two nights at Chalten Camp. Great views of Mount Fitz Roy. We did most of the Laguna de los Tres trek. Our guide correctly predicted heavy rain in the late afternoon so we skipped the climb to the lagoon. Still walked 18k. Highlight of the trip was three nights at Aguas Arrriba. Hosts made us feel as we were visiting their home which is located in a fantastic spot. Enjoyed great treks with our guide Diego. Magical trees, glaciers, waterfalls. Morning and afternoon walks with good lunches at the lodge. A private paradise for serious walkers. Finished with two nights in El Calafate. Enjoyed the Pioneros tour. We were part of a group of seven. Visit to the Moreno glacier late in the day without crowds. All of our transfers worked seamlessly. When Aerolinea Argentina decided to change our flights a few days before our trip Julia was able to find alternative flights. A great travel experience.

We booked our honeymoon through SA Exhibitions and travelled to Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Julia Steck did an amazing job planning our trip and made herself available to us 24/7 during our travels. It was great having her input about where to stay, and which activities to participate in during the planning process. She is extremely knowledgable about South America and made this experience seamless and fun. Julia was such a delight to work with that we made sure to refer her and SA to anyone we met during our trip :) I also want to mention the SA staff member, Roberto who greeted us upon our arrival in Santiago and made our commute to the Vik hotel so much fun. He even had adorable mugs made for us listing off the countries we were visiting for our honeymoon! Overall, I only have amazing things to say about our honeymoon all thanks to Julia. I look forward to working with her again for future trips booked via SA Expeditions.

My sister and I wanted to take a special trip for her special birthday. We decided to go to the place on our bucket list--Machu Picchu. We found Jackie Becker at SA Expeditions and were very pleased from the start. She listened to us and modified our itinerary according to our needs and wishes. SA was very attentive and responsive to all of our questions. The trip itself ran so smoothly! It was wonderful to relax and let the very able staff from SA Expeditions take care of everything. Our drivers and guides were very capable and personable. We especially enjoyed Marco Rondan who was our guide in Cuzco and the Sacred Valley. He is knowledgeable and witty, but he was also very careful and attentive when we hiked Huayna Picchu. Our driver, Victor, was great, espeically driving through the tough traffic in bad weather. We were well pleased with everything and highly recommend Jackie and the S.A. Expedition group!

Corey Jay put together the most incredible and family-friendly Peru experience for our three families of friends. The accommodations were gorgeous and comfortable; the experiences were once in a lifetime. The guides, Dimas and Allison were top notch and were so knowledgeable, proud of their country, and were so good with the kids. Between our families, there were 7 children ranging in age from 9-13. Dimas held my 9 year old’s hand for 6.5 miles on the Inca trail, all the way to Machu Picchu, helping her to not only hike some challenging (but doable) terrain, but also to have fun doing it and learn a lot about each other and Peru! It was so fun to learn about the Sacred Valley and their beloved home city of Cusco as well. We all felt like old friends by the end of the week. I cannot recommend SA expeditions enough, and would highly recommend asking for Corey, Dimas and Allison. They make an excellent team!!

Our trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu was fabulous! Julia at SA Expeditions was friendly, informative, and very helpful with the planning. We were with a group of friends and family and she customized each of our trips while ensuring we were all together when we could be. It was quite a logistical feat and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Our transportation was comfortable and prompt, the hotels were top-notch, with beautiful rooms, wonderful food, and first-class service, and our guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone involved with our trip made sure we were their top priority. We saw and did so many cool things, there’s no way we could’ve done so much without the help and expert guidance of SA Expeditions. SA planned and coordinated a fascinating trip to Peru. They perfectly synchronized my Inca Trail Trek with my wife's separate tour which was booked through another operator. It was seamless airport to Andes service. Peru's combination of geography, culture and natural history is wonderfully intertwined. Above all, the people of Peru are the highlight. SA trail team leader Max Loayza was knowledgeable, personable and experienced. Max represents SA extremely well and always had my best interests in mind. Trail Chef Flavio prepared amazing meals from a micro kitchen and all porters were strong, focused and a joy to hike with. This itinerary began with two day hikes on other portions of the Inca Trail followed by the classic four day Inca Trail trek terminating at Machu Picchu. Climbing Huayna Picchu on the final day sealed it.

I need to share our week long trip experience. We did the 2 Day Inca Trail and Machu Picchu adventure. I would give this trip a Perfect 10! Anyone that has this on the "bucket list"...contact SA because every detail was attended to. We had two couples which is the perfect size for a group. Our guides and drivers were SO excellent! Everyone had extensive knowledge and could answer literally any question we had. We loved our hiking guild Johan so much...that we extended an invitation for he and his family to join us in Utah for a ski vacation. I would encourage anyone to take extra money to tip well as they become the main reason the trip went off without a hitch. Adam was my contact person and he customized everything for us. We had the most amazing time on our journey through Argentina, Antarctica, and Chile! Claudia was wonderful to work with and organized an itinerary that met everything we wanted to do. The tour guides Jeremiah and Mauricio were fabulous - so knowledgeable about their respective areas in Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Valparaiso. It was so lovely to have everything taken care of - the transfers, the hotels in each city, and much of the entertainment. Even when a mix up happened during the tango night transportation, SA was available to take our call and figured out quickly a solution that worked out well. We couldn't have asked for anything more! We will definitely use SA Expeditions on our next trip, wherever it may take us :)

The guide that met us at the airport and provided us with transportation and a tour of Quito was outstanding. The flights were great, no issues whatsoever. The boat was dated and lost an engine early in the trip but the crew and naturalist more than made up for it. As for highlights, I think that the biggest take away for me was the fact that the animals on the island were free from predators, on land not in the water, and were able to be their best. Sea Lions slept where they wanted, birds laid nests where they wanted, it was truly unique. One event I will mention was the very last snorkeling trip, we were able to PLAY with several juvenile sea lions in the water – they broke the 2 meter rule not us!

We just got home after the most epic trip to the Galapagos, thanks to Adam and his team at SA Expeditions. As soon as we got off the plane in Guayaquil, we had representatives meet us and get us to our next destination- no worrying at all. We were set up in a gorgeous hotel in San Cristobal, set up on 2 days worth of diving with a local shop, and then sent out to sea on the gorgeous ship Calipso for 7 nights :) Calipso was a dream, amazing staff, food, and our guide was insanely knowledgeable and fun. Thank you thank you thank you for another amazing trip to South America, and its especially because of Adam Laughter and SA Expeditions we were able to accomplish it. Much appreciated.

SA Expeditions made all our travel arrangements for visiting Brazil, Argentina, and Peru in early 2020 but we had to postpone our trip due to COVID and we completed our trip in Sep/ Oct this year. They honored our original pricing after 2-1/2 years and handled all the changes very professionally. Our tour coordinator Julia Steck did a wonderful job throughout the planning process. Our tour guides and drivers during the trip took very good care and our entire trip was completed without any issues. I had one of the most memorable travel experiences, that SA Expeditions carefully crafted to my personal preferences, during my solo trip in Peru! I expressed my interest to Adam Laughter in wanting to do nature, adventure, and indulgence in cultural experiences. Adam crafted the best itinerary, where I spent time in the Amazon jungle doing lots of fun activities, visited Machu Picchu, explored Cusco and Lima and spend a day with a Peruvian family in one of the Inca villages. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot and made friends at every stop. Adam, the tour guide, driver and entire SA Expedition team is very professional and extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend them!

Our trip to Machu Picchu was amazing, difficult to describe, it was so impressive. SA expeditions was excellent and over the top with its organization, pick up service, we never had to give those details a thought. Could just enjoy ourselves. Our accommodations were lovely, very comfortable and every stop along the way was well tuned. The best part was our guide - Johann. He made the trip for us, he is an ambassador for Peru, answered our many questions - which were endless - and took into account our age - twice his, with the physical aspects of the trip! We hiked the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with SA Expeditions and it was an incredible experience. They took care of all the moving pieces, including all the many tickets and permits and all the transportation we needed over two days. Our guide, Juan Oscar, was amazing and really made the experience for us. Not only was he extremely prepared to lead us on the hike, but he was incredibly knowledgable about the natural environment, Inca history and archaeology, and even could identify every bird we encountered by their call alone. I can't recommend enough booking an expedition with them- it was the highlight of our trip and an experience I will never forget!

From the beginning of the planning process, Haley provided different options for our itinerary and was able to adjust a few details to ensure we were within our budget. Once we arrived in South America the travel guides provided us so much information about our tours and the history of their countries. We just returned for a fantastic trip to Patagonia which Jackie designed for us. From the time we first landed in Chile to the time we departed everything was fantastic and went with out a hitch. The Las Torres Lodge was fantastic. Lots of wonderful excursions, excellent guides and phenominal meals. It was the first time I have ever used a booking company to plan a trip and I could not have been more impressed. Jackie answered tons questions before, kept in touch during and we had a productive recap when we returned home. I certainly hope that SA offers excursions to our future destinations as I hope to employ Jackie’s planning expertise in the future

Julia Steck with SA Expeditions planned a three week trip of a lifetime for our family in Argentina and Peru. We had 21 days packed full of adventure and excitement exploring Buenos Aires, Patagonia, Iguazú Falls, Cusco, Machu Picchu and 3 nights cruising the Amazon! Our itinerary was thoughtfully planned and carried out impeccably. SA Expeditions planned every detail: drivers to pick us up and literally take us everywhere, awesome tour guides to lead us and first class accommodations in fabulous hotels! We are so thankful someone recommended Julia and SA Expeditions to us so we want to do the same for anyone interested in exploring South America.

South America Expeditions was amazing planning an exciting two week trip to Ecuador for us, one week on land and another week at sea in the Galapagos. They provided seamless care every step of the way and their drivers/tourist guides were delightful and reliable. They prearranged vegan meals at restaurants and we stayed in five star hotels. We felt completely supported and fully enjoyed all the experiences hiking volcanoes to visiting Inca ruins, to swimming in the ocean with the turtles, penguins, seals, and sharks. We've travelled many countries around the world but this trip ranks right at the top. We highly recommend SA Expeditions.

Full Service! I typically plan my own trips, but this time I used SA Expeditions for the entire thing. Jackie was really great at not only listening to what we wanted, but also offering suggestions (that turned out so great!). In addition, SA used guides at each of the stops that took care of all of the finer details of traveling and took all of the stress out. Highly recommend the Galapagos, Amazon and Peru (Machu Picchu included) trip that Jackie put together for us for our 25th wedding anniversary. Particularly enjoyed our guide for Peru (Max) who took care of us and was filled with great information about the culture. Loved it!

I took a solo trip and needed help planning everything I wanted to do in the days I would be there. Hellen helped me plan everything I wanted to do in Peru. I spent 4 days in the Amazon, then Cusco, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. The resorts were lovely. The included meals were amazing. The drivers and guides were punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. Prior to the trip, I had a detailed itinerary and all the information I needed about what to pack, staying safe etc. Hellen was available before and during the trip for any questions that I had. I would definitely use SA Expeditions again.

We used SA Expeditions to help arrange & coordinate our trip to Peru - specifically Machu Picchu & the Amazon (Puerto Maldonado). Everything & everyone was outstanding. We used SA Expeditions for a trip to Argentina this past fall, and it was truly incredible every step of the way. We worked with Julia Steck, who was amazingly helpful throughout our trip! We spent two days in Buenos Aires and then a handful of days in each of Bariloche, El Chalten, and El Calafate. The scenery was spectacular, and the accommodations that Julia worked out for us were fantastic (especially Llao Llao hotel in Bariloche and Eolo in Calafate). Can’t recommend SA highly enough!!

Hayley at SA Expeditions helped us create a fantastic 16 day tour of Peru. We went to Lima (very fun gastronomic tour!), the jungle (awesome expeditions including Lake Sandoval), Arequipa, Colca Canyon (saw condors), Lake Titicaca, and then our final part of the trip was to Cusco and Machu Pichu. We had a trip to South America all planned out on our own, when the operator (not SA) cancelled at the last second. I reached out to Jackie at SA on Sunday, and we had a new itinerary figured out on Monday, and we departed on Wednesday. We did the Galapagos and the Ecuadorian jungle trip. The folks from SA were absolutely wonderful. We landed at the airport and they were there to meet us and walk us through almost every step. It was great. I highly recommend them.

Julia put together an itinerary for Buenos Aires and Patagonia for a private group of 8. The itinerary was excellent. The logistics were also excellent with all vans and guides on time and at the right places. The guides were excellent. The internal flights were arranged and there were no unpleasant surprises en route. Julia was very helpful and responsive in the 1+ year it took to arrange the trip. Highly recommended.

We worked with Sarah and SA on a trip to Peru and they were fantastic! Every detail was thoughtfully considered and they work with incredible guides. Their templated trips gave us great ideas for a structure but everything was customizable if we wanted changes to fit us. Including a late flight change during the trip which Sarah and team worked around to ensure a smooth trip. I would definitely recommend SA.

SA Expeditions helped us with our anniversary tour around Chile, Bolivia, and Peru. It was a last-minute decision to go on this trip, but Julia handled it perfectly. We stayed at hotels with great views that are a MUST for my family and me. Activities were perfect for us and we even had the opportunity to go to one of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants. We enjoyed every single minute of this trip.

I had never used SA before or travel agents in general so was a little nervous but they did a great job. We went to the Galápagos and got put on the best boat and SA handled transportation to the hotels and airports etc. Julia from SA was very responsive and easy to get on the phone. My wife and I worked with Hayley to plan a two-week trip to Santiago, Patagonia, and Buenos Aires. Hayley coordinated the hotels, guides, transfers and all travel within South America. Everything ran smoothly and we had a wonderful time. The Australis cruise through Patagonia was the high point of the trip and a great way to experience Patagonia. We enjoyed a trip of a lifetime to the Galapagos in August 2023. Claudia at SA Expeditions helped us with every detail at every step along the way and was always available to answer the myriad questions we had. Adam Laughter and SA expeditions planned an amazing, once in a lifetime trip for family. The plans were complex involving family members arriving at different times, etc.. The team was professional, responsive and knew the area really well. We were paired with a local driver and guide. The experience was amazing and we are already planning another trip with them.

My own experience was mixed as I have physical limitations that kept me from participating in half of the twice daily excursions. That said, this was expected as I understood this before I visited. I took my family and enjoyed my time with them, mostly on the ship, the Galapagos Legend. Excellent experience visiting this remote and very special place.

Our trip to chile with SA expeditions was so amazing. Julia planned such an amazing trip and truly dealt with all the logistics for us.
