After a Christmas Eve hot water service failure SGM being the preferred plumber by my restate agent. Reaching out to them they where able to make a quote to replace our hot water gas tank system via just pictures, under cutting a local competitor by all most $1000. Time to install was quoted at 30-40 mins not long at all. Confirmed that he was scheduled to attend between 9 - 10am 5 days later. Plumber showed up at about 11:45am With no contact saying he was going to be late Then left by 1:50pm with a new unit installed As I said to the plumber I wouldn't have had an issue if I was informed of this My review is 3 stars because of the communication experienced. Because their office was closed during the period.

We've used SGM for a long time in repairing and maintaining our rental properties. They are absolute superstars to deal with and I could not recommend them highly enough. From the office staff who organise appointments and provide you with constant updates, to the emergency staff who are available after hours and on weekends, to the plumbers who are always so professional, efficient and informative and to the owners Sean and Katie who are just amazing operators who really care about their clients. I would recommend SGM Plumbing to absolutely anyone for any job plumbing or gas. Thanks so much for all your help over the years!

I normally wont leave a review unless the service quality is terrible or outstanding and in this case it is definitely the latter, I had the pleasure of meeting one of SGM's technicians by the name of Caleb when my hot water system decided to fail, Kaleb called in advance gave me a time he would arrive and was there on the dot, within the hour he had the unit back up and running after replacing a faulty element. I cannot recommend SGM highly enough and hope that when you use them you have the fortune of getting Kaleb as your technician, absolute stellar work!

Sgm Plumbing were the best trades company that I’ve dealt with, they were extremely efficient, informative, kept me updated every step of the way, and resolved my blocked drains and leaking pipes in an extremely professional manner, their employees were polite, and cleaned up after digging in my garden, to the point that it looks better than when they arrived. A special mention to Heath who I spoke to in the office, what a polite gentleman, I could not fault their work. Highly recommend using them, I will definitely be using them in The future.

Dealt with corey and to say service was great would be an understatement very polite and courteous. The first tradesmen I've had not be delayed, hot water service repaired within Ten minutes said a thermo coupling or something had worn out. The only downside was he refused the cup of tea said he had a lot of other jobs to do and wasn't able to hang around, amazing company and employees. Definitely recommend and know who to contact for future jobs as I'm sure ther will be a lot as the house gets older 10/10 SGM PLUMBING.

Dishonest and completely unprofessional service. They owe us money which they refuse to pay us the amount we were entitled to. They have left large holes after installing things both outside the property and inside the property. Additionally they have left their mess around the property expecting us to clean up their work after them. Very poor form with zero integrity or pride in what they do. One of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of being subjected to. Worth zero stars.

Living a distance away I used google to find a local plumber to go to my mother-in-laws place. She was very pleased with the plumber who turned up to fix her leaky shower. Said he was on time and cleaned up the mess the leak had caused (didnt need to do this but did regardless). Said his name was Lee and that he was very polite and full of knowledge and gave her some tips about her aircon usage!. Nice to know there are services around her that we know we can rely on. Thank you.

Owning several investment properties and after a relentless run of bad and unreliable plumbers, I was happy to receive a recommendation from a friend…. to find Sean and he’s team. The heating guy that came, managed to rescue the heater from a load of problems. He was good at explaining everything in layman’s terms and only replaced/repaired what was necessary. A reliable, well-mannered and exceptional value for service. I would never use another plumber/heating specialist

I strongly suggest you use another company they first quoted me on site then sent another technician couple dats later and then changed the quote by $780 i told him why ,his answer was sorry the other tech hasnt been with us for long! I told him to leave and got the job done for $240 i also called the office the lady said she will call me back to do a formal complaint and guess what no one called STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

I am truly appreciative and amazed by this company. I left a voicemail on a Saturday morning (they do not open on weekends) and they responded within 30 minutes. They were able to repair my ducted heating within 2 hours of my call! My ducted heating did not work for two days and the plumber came and solved the issue within 20 minutes! He was very professional, and helpful! Thanks

SGM Plumbing installed my instantaneous hot water system at my rental, I am a plumber myself and can see the quality of workmanship that has been undertaken to ensure the best performance of my unit. Plumber who installed it was very punctual, on time etc. Highly reccomend this company for all gas and water installations and will use them again in the future

I recently had one of their plumbers out called Leigh to check out some stuff that I had some concerns about and he was fantastic! Very professional in his work but also nice and friendly to chat along with. He told me what needed to be done and the cost was not high. I would highly recommend this company to any one of my friends and family!

Had my hot water service go and sgm were quick to come out and repair it absolutely stoked with the quality of work from the plumber kaleb that came out also didn’t hesitate to unblock a drain and answered all my questions about running future plumbing to connect a fridge to water 10/10 will get them back for sure

SGM came out to my place to repair my ducted heater and service my evaporative cooler. They arrived on time and the plumber was very polite, informative and knowledgeable about my heating/cooling system and made recommendations to use them more efficiently which has worked out very well.

It feels like there is a 'landlord premium' to their prices if the call out goes via your property manager. The service maybe prompt and efficient (and hopefully the repairs last) but no one wants to walk away feeling ripped off from a transaction.

The young plumber from SGM was magnificent to deal with, he came to replace my ancient hot water service in a really tight spot and got the job done with another reinstalled the same day. Very professional and kind young man, I recommend SGM
