April 9, 2022, at about 11:20 am. I experienced the easiest departure procedure ever. The bagage check-in desk were not very crowded, the staff was so kind. Then I went to the security check point. Yes, direction was not that clear, but I managed to find my way after asking an agent. Then the check point was so easy. It was an international flight, but as I queued for the security check a staff member litterally yelled instructions contrary to what you could read on posters and screens. Do not remove your shoes, do not remove anything in your bag...etc. As my turn approached and as I kept wondering about what I sould do with my laptop, I asked if I had to remove my laptop and put it in a separate box. No, I was told. That was the smoothest security check I have ever experienced. The whole process from bagage check-in to arriving at boarding gate did not took me more than 20 minutes.

With the new renovations I had to walk about a quarter of a mile just to get to the end of terminal B. Then walk from the end of terminal B to the underground concourse. Then walk across to terminal A and out to the end of terminal A to the baggage claim. Be prepared to do a lot of walking if you are flying out of or into Salt Lake international airport.

Clean and big airport. Rent car price is much cheapper than BOZ. Only onething bad was a security. She asked me to change my pose more than 7times when i scan my body. I travering the world and this was my 7th USA traver.I really wonder who was the bad security. The person in the SLC or all the other security i met in the USA?

Gate agents here are kinda dumb, whoever was doing Delta 0842 at 9:50AM from SLC to ATL on October 14 2023 really screwed up and “upgraded” us to much worse seats in the same cabin, and split up several families. Why the hell are you screwing with people’s seats with no airframe change?

really awful design for the 'new and improved.' airport. walked for 45 minutes just to have to take a bus to the plane. where's the jetway??? trains? people movers? $$$$$$$ for nothing. one of the worst of the 46 airports I've been in on the last 12 months.

The upgrades are amazing but trying to get around the airport is stupid ridiculous!! They layout is NOT made for ease of travel or access. I hope as they finish the upgrades they fix this because I HATE using this airport. It's SO INACCESSIBLE . SAD

It’s hard to give any airport a 5 star review but SLC gets a 4 because every time we’ve flown in our out, their facilities have been clean, the staff helpful, and had plenty of restaurants/shops to fill our time as we waited for our next flight.

Friendly staff, lots of flights, terrible building layout. Be prepared to walk forever to get to your gates. There is no waiting area for pickup and dropoff, so perfect timing and planning are required.

Congrats SLC...$4 Billion for the worst passenger experience in the west. Chaos at TSA, B gates are a half marathon walk...just like the cross-over overpasses, engineering experiements gone wrong!

Nice & spacious airport. However there’s a very long walk to the gates & bag claim (be prepared). Security check queues can be very long, even in the morning, but they move fast.

Super busy when we got there. The concourse are super long compared to the old terminals. Navigating pick up and drop off was easy. Jump many steps.

Always clean and bright. TSA is efficient. Easy to get on and out of. Only complaint is the well publicized 'hike' to get to B Terminal.

It's a good airport and they've been improving it over the years (ignoring the whole B gates issue). Nice, spacious bathrooms

The new airport is nicely arranged. Our departures and arrivals have all gone smoothly.
