They sent me electronic paperwork to complete before hand and I did the paperwork, which they pretended not to have. Then said well it's past 2 anyway so we have to reschedule you. This is after I called 3 times on the way there because I couldn't find the office. BTW it's tucked clear in the back in the smaller building if you need that info. But my recommendation is skip the trip. You most likely won't get to see the dentist anyway and you'll be better off without the wasted gas, added aggravation and hefty dose of public humiliation. *** I don't care about your excuses. You were unnecessarily rude and would have had no problem making me wait hours in the waiting room so 10 minutes should have been reasonable. Also I had the forms already open in my browser with the completion screen but I was so disgusted by that point I wouldn't have stayed anyway. Too busy to answer my calls. Too busy to see me. But not too busy to hound me on social media to get that appointment scheduled. Good luck with that. No wonder you can't get those bills paid, you won't actually see anyone. And for the record, I use my maiden name on social media where you contacted me, which is pretty damn common. (And yes, the first communication I had was a Facebook form sent from your page. You contacted me first because you needed patients.) It's not my problem that your system is janky.

I got my wisdom tooth extraction last Friday. This is day 7. My pain didn't go away but went more and more extreme these days. Starting on day 4, I've being trying to reach out to the doctor for help. What I got on day 4 is a pain killer. And I was told there's no concern of infection. On Day 5, there's foul smell around my extraction area. I reached out to the dental again and was told nothing to worry about as it is quite normal. Day 6, which is yesterday, my nose blocked but when I inhale through it, there's also a foul smell. And I cannot even sleep after taking the prescription pain killer. Day 7, today, I reached out to the dental again but the doctor was not available, the reception gave me some advice after talking to the doctor: nothing to worry about; let the time heal it. Now my temperature reaches above 100 after taking 800 mg Ibuprofen one hour ago. I had to visited an urgent care. And the urgent care gave me a prescription for antibiotics: it's infection. The urgent care told me to control for my temperature by also taking 500mg Tylenol. The urgent care said that if the temperature cannot get controlled and further rise to above 102 during the weekend, I'll have to go to emergency room. Avoid this dental. Unresponsive. They just say goodbye after your treatment.

I had dental work done at SLC Dental and they were wonderfully caring, compassionate and professional. Everything their website says is absolutely spot on. Both Dr TJ Allred and his assistant Iajaira along with front desk staff, and billing staff were very patient and genuinely care about their patients. I had several teeth crowned that day and they were amazing. They have the newest technology and advances in Dentistry and even better? They make the crowns on site in their office so NO 2 WEEK WAIT! I had some sensitivity in a tooth while Dr TJ Allred was drilling and the dental assistant Iajaira was working with him, I flinched a tiny bit when the tooth was a little sensitive and they immediately noticed it and responded instantly by stopping and asking if I was ok. I said i was and indicated that a tooth was still sensitive. Both took steps to reduce discomfort Dr Allred injected more Novocain while Iajaira moistened my lips with qtip with Vaseline on it. That was a first for me! Other dentists, just before starting would say "raise your finger if uncomfortable. " It was a wonderful experience and I NEVER Thought I'd say that about a dentist's office! it is located in downtown salt lake city, in a small strip of offices opposite Sprouts and Ross.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect considering I found a link to SLC Dental via a random add... but WOW! Everyone there is so kind and helpful. Questions answered promptly, fully, and non-condescending when we didn't know what was going on. Friendly to the point of family type atmosphere. The dental work that was done turned out to be WAY above and beyond all of my expectations and I am SO glad we chose SLC Dental for it! Highly recommended! Even with all the options from high end too low for whatever you need done beyond a routine checkup, there is ZERO pressure for what you want or don't want. They just give you all options, give great advice and opinions, and let you choose. That's it. No pressure. I'll definitely be going there for any of my family or my own dental matters every time. I'll definitely be recommending SLC Dental to everyone I know that needs some work done whether it's extensive or basic. ) I can't give enough praise or thanks to express how happy I am with them. If you're having issues with dentists and are nervous or even downright scared, give them a try at the very least. I don't think you'll regret the choice. I certainly didn't. Had a crown done here that did not cover the tooth down to the root and had to get it replaced, they also did a root canal and did not get an entire root so I also had to get that redone. They do not stand by their warranties or guarantees, and because there is nothing written down, they simply can change it at any moment to make you ineligible. If they are okay with their bad work and incompetence, how can you trust a clinic like that. I would avoid this clinic and try some place else, or you could be out thousands like me. After I called them multiple times I was met with the same offending answer, that they would not honor their guarantee, but would be more than happy to charge me full price to replace it. Seeing the comments below and how offended and unprofessional they react to criticism it is a wonder to me that are still in business or that they allow their PR person to keep responding to reviewers with out right lies or rude vitriol. What are you willing to do, put it in the response? I am not sure who Jeffery is, but the fact that you are willing to violate HIPPA or that you have done this to others is a real concern (well done).

This is hands down the best dental office I've used over the years in any city! I started the process of a complete restoration of my teeth while living in Portland after lots of cavities that weren't properly filled in my 20s. When I moved to Salt Lake City, I had a couple remaining crowns and the front veneers to complete. Dr. Parks and then Dr. Allred were absolutely amazing in provisioning the work. They are deft at making dental care (extensive, in my case!) as pain free as possible, and I couldn't be happier with the final work product. All of the dentists here have a wonderful patient side manner and explain the work they are doing thoroughly. My insurance covered a large portion of the top veneers as the teeth had several fillings that would have had to be removed and replaced (or crowned); when they rejected the invoice for the lower teeth, the office offered a fair price and worked with me (and when I say fair, I mean fair - about 1/4 the price I was quoted in NYC and about 1/2 what I was quoted in Portland). They have my highest recommendation.

Finding a great dentist can be challenging and luckily I was introduced to Dr. Palmer and Dr. Allred. I've been a patient for years (thanks to a recommendation from my sister). I generally go to Dr. Palmer's office for my regular dental cleanings; however, over the years I have had other procedures done, beginning with Invisalign and then later three crowns. I am a very nervous dental patient, however, both Dr. Palmer and Dr. Allred put me at ease. Most recently I needed two crowns put in thanks to extremely old cracked silver fillings. I was very nervous (two crowns on the same side in the same day...yikes!). However, Dr. Allred did an AMAZING job! Seriously, the drilling went smoothly and the greatest thing....they make the crowns in house so you do not need to leave with a temporary crown and then find time in your schedule to come back and get the permanent installed. Nope, the procedure was done all in one day and I was good as new. Everything about the experience was perfect. I would highly recommend Dr. Palmer's and Dr. Allred's office.

I absolutely love this place. If I could give it 6/5 stars I would! I’ve had quite a few dental emergencies and SLC Dental is so compassionate and understanding. I’ve had problems with one of my front teeth since I was 8; cracked and broken off all the way to the root. This lead to sensitivity issues and constant follow up visits to redo my crown with my old dentists. I went through 8 dentists until I found SLC Dental. I met Dr. Palmer and Dr. Allred from another bicycle wreck that messed up both front teeth even more and now I get compliments all the time that my smile looks amazing and nobody can tell that my two front teeth are crowns. Best of all I haven’t had any problems with any of my crowns and my teeth feel great. Most recently I had a filling fall out for the 2nd time (due to it being a tricky place for a filling) on a Monday. I was in by Wednesday evening and the crew stayed late in order to get me situated. I cannot express my appreciation enough! I recommend absolutely everybody here to either Dr. Palmer or Dr. Allred!

I'm sooooo impressed with SLC Dental and Dr. Allred. I went in with a broken tooth. I thought it was going to be a problem because it was in the back and tight with other tooth. Dr. Allred assessed the situaion. He showed my pictures of the broken tooth and the location. He educated me and it was so close to the nerve, we thought I would need a root canal. He was amazing and carefully fitted me for a crown and we didn't have to do the root canal after all. They were upront about the cost and what my insurance covered. I was told to come back after an hour and they put my permanent crown on. I couldn't believe it! I got everything done in about 3 hours. I can't even tell I had any work done. It fits PERFECT! I have received calls to check on my crown and to see if the tooth was still feeling good. I would recommend Dr. Allred 100%! It was the BEST experience I have had! Thank you Dr. Allred and his team for a GREAT experience! They are so knowledgable and care so much about you and your comfort. Thanks again!

Dr. Palmer is the BEST dentist I have EVER been to- and that says a lot because I have been to dozens. I have had teeth problems my whole life, and I have felt so discouraged and defeated by so many dentists and not sure what to believe, feeling like they aren’t trusting etc. I was referred to Dr. Palmer by 3 separate people so I took a chance. He has been amazing. He thoroughly explains to me everything that’s going on and what he’s going to do- I feel like he is 100% trustworthy and isn't just trying to make some money— but genuinely cares. I feel so much more hopeful about my teeth for the first time so I am a patient for life! He is also extremely gentle and careful which is awesome too. His staff is sooo friendly and nice! I’m just so grateful I have found someone I trust since my teeth have always been a huge concern my whole life.

Both Dr. Palmer and Dr. Allred are wonderful dentists! I have been seeing Dr. Palmer for a few years, and enjoy his high quality care, and efficient appointments. He is friendly without a bunch of small talk. When my wife needed some of her gum lasered off, he thoughtfully noted that she should wait until after her pregnancy because of the numbing agent. She didn't even need to ask! When it came time to do the work, she was concerned that it was going to be Dr. Allred, who she'd never met. He was just as terrific as Dr. Palmer at the consultation, and a great sport about her nerves during the procedure! This tiny office runs so well--everyone is kind, quickly returns calls, and is just plain good at their job. My wife especially wants to compliment Taylor, who has worked on her teeth every cleaning, and does a superb job.

Honestly would not go anywhere else for dental care. Dr. Palmer is knowledgeable and caring, he will do whatever it takes to help you feel better. I've had 2 extractions and implants, a root canal and my wisdom teeth taken out. He did an excellent job on all of them and really makes me feel much better anytime I'm in the chair. I have anxiety when I'm getting work done and I know I can trust him to do a fantastic job, which makes everything go smoother for me. All of the staff there are the nicest people. After my dog Scooby passed away, Dawn was so kind to me about it. Caroline, Paula, Ruth, Deanne, Dawn and Rachel I've worked with before and are all fantastic as they come, and I'm certain everyone there is the same way, even though I don't know them. Thank you for doing what you're doing.

When I first went to SLC Family Dental it was on an emergency basis without insurance and a broken front tooth. Dr Palmer was amazing as well as the staff to fit me right in on a Hot July Friday PM. My tooth and front grill looks just like nothing had ever happened. They worked with me on the bill and I have stayed with the office for 5 yes or more now. Recently I broke a back molar and was in a lot of pain and discomfort for many days until I broke down (again; no insurance) but I called for an appointment and they got me in same day with Dr Allred. He’s fantastic and was able to get me taken care of. Time for healing now! Yay! Truly, I love this office, the Doctors and their staff. They are true professionals and know what patient care and customer service is all about.

I can honestly say that I had a great experience at SLC Dental. Dr. Allred and his team are very wonderful and HONEST. He doesn't over treat like some dentists. He gives you recommendations and performs procedures that are exactly what you need in terms of dental work. In short, they are a very transparent practice. I'm currently pain-free 10 days post op for wisdom teeth extraction (all 4). Dr. Allred and his team did a great job! The numbness wore off several hours after the surgery and I had no complications such as nerve damage, dry socket, or infection. Dr. Allred gave me the right instructions and medications to facilitate a fast and healthy recovery, which is exactly what happened :) Once again, thank you SLC Dental!!

I’d give 10 stars if it were an option, and I highly recommend them to anyone, even those with a fear of the dentist. I had been looking for a new dentist in SLC after moving. I hadn’t found one yet but woke up with a cracked tooth. I called and was able to get an appointment that same day in the afternoon. The staff were friendly, well informed, and professional, and Dr. Allred clearly explained the process involved in fixing my tooth. I needed a bit more dental work than I expected, but Dr. Allred offered an option to take care of it all that same day even though I’m sure he and his staff stayed a bit overtime to make it work. I truly can’t thank them enough for their care, kindness, and willingness to accommodate me.

This is one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to. I would travel for hours just to go to this dental office if I ever had to. Dr. Allred and Dr. Palmer are pure genius. Top notch skills. They are kind, caring, patient, extremely knowledgeable.. Angie, my favorite assistant is also always extraordinary..compassionate, caring, knowledgeable.. Front desk ladies, amazing customer service. They were all kind enough to stay after hours for my dental emergencies on a few occasions. They have done three beautiful crown jobs and I've never had any issues with any of the dental work done. They even saved a tooth that was near impossible to save. The best dentists you will find in Salt Lake city guaranteed.

I am 60 years old, to say I have had experiences with bad dentists is an understatement. From the first visit I had with TJ I realized I had found what I had needed for a long time now. He was patient, he took the time to find out my needs, and what I wanted from the experience. Then he plotted out multiple choices and walked me thru each of them. I was scared but he is amazing, gentle, patient and calming. I feel so lucky to have a smile I can be proud of. Thanks to Dr TJ Allred. I smile more and will continue to see him for all my dental needs.

Dr Palmer and his staff are great! They know me by name and always ask about my family when I'm there. I've always had great dental care from them and would highly recommend them. My wife had a terrible experience with a dentist many years ago that frightened her so bad that she had not been to a dentist for 11 years. Finally a dental issue forced her to go and I recommended Dr Palmer to her. She went and had such a great experience that her fears have calmed and she was very grateful for their care and attentiveness to her needs.

I was very impressed with my experience with Dr. Robert Palmer. I found their office through my insurance website, and the receptionist was very open and friendly for scheduling an appointment. The x-ray technician, hygienist, and the dentist himself were all so friendly and personable. They were professional and gentle with their work. They contacted my insurance company while I was in my appointment, so payment was quick and the rates seemed reasonable. The office is really small, but clean and nice. I'm going back!

Went to them for a double crown earlier last week, then yesterday had to go in as I was experiencing some pretty bad pain where they had placed the crowns. Called in and explained the situation and they said we have an opening come right in, I told them what was up and they quickly fixed the crowns so that it sat better and provided me with other necessary items to help with the pain. They were patient, and excellent at ensuring everything was alright. Highly recommend both Dr. Palmer, Dr. Allred and their staff.

I cut my lip all the way through, cracked some teeth, and moved some teeth in a dirt bike accident over Memorial Day weekend. Dr. Allred and Lori were kind enough to come in on a Sunday and provide much needed dental care. Dr. Allred was compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and very prompt in delivering excellent care. Had he not been willing to go in and help me on such short notice, my outcome would have been much worse. I am incredibly thankful and would recommend SLC Dental to anyone in need.

These guys waited over half of a year to try and take me to collections over a four dollar charge! If my x-rays weren't fully covered why does it take over half of a year to be notified of thier mistake? Yeah I'm not ever going to come to this dentist office again... very poor customer service and billing representation. The worst part is the harrassing email's they send like they are taking you to collections for thier mistake... Beware before stepping foot in to this poorly run office!

I live in Moab UT. I knew I needed to find a new dentist because my previous dentist was not doing his job effectively. I found them on Google. Got into the office and I have to say I was impressed with the customer service and the dentist . He worked me in to the schedule and fixed my teeth, Set up a plan for my teeth and I really like what he is planning to do for my teeth. Good dentist. If I hear of anyone who needs a dentist I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Dr Alred.

I absolutely love SLC Dental. They are the best dental place I’ve had since moving to Salt Lake. I go to school in Arizona but make very frequent trips home just to be seen by them specifically. The staff work hard to meet everybody’s individual needs by examining and providing with solutions by priority. I always feel like I am in the best of hands at SLC Dental. Professional, courteous, and friendly staff make you feel like family here. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone! : )

My husband and I both see Dr. Palmer as our general dentist and feel he's the best dentist we've ever had. My experience with dentists has been that they are often not transparent about costs and try to upsell you on procedures you may not actually need, but we've never had that experience here. I feel they're very honest and transparent, and we've had nothing but good experiences here. His administrative staff is also very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

I have had very poor/traumatizing experiences with past dentists so finding a dentist I feel safe with is quite the challenge. I can confidently say I am so grateful I found SLC dental - the entire staff is extremely friendly and kind. Dr. Allred is so patient, so gentle & talks you through each step. I had to get four crowns done and I genuinely can say I didn’t feel any pain during the procedures & I felt fully supported by the staff. I can’t recommend them enough!

I went to SLC Dental to have a wisdom tooth extracted. I was pretty scared and very nervous. The technician that was helping me, I think her name is Leanne, was amazing! She gave me a warm blanket and put on my favorite music. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. The dentist was amazing as well. He extracted the tooth very quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dentist. This place is fantastic!

I came here from a referral , a friend that told me to come here because he had a great experience . I scheduled to get snap in denture implants . I have done the surgery and in the process right now of healing . Everyone at SLC DENTAL has been great , customer service is Excellent. I really appreciate all they have done for me so far and looking forward to seeing the finish product . Highly Recommend probably the best dental office I have been to.

I’ve been a patient for Dr. Palmer for over 5 years. He is fantastic and really cares about the patients oral health. He is the best, I drive 3”20 min to see him. The staff is amazing and very friendly, they get you in and out very quickly.... you are not waiting long hours to see the dentist. Dr. Palmer is very professional and honest and gives you options regardless of the money he could make. I would recommend Dr. Palmer and his staff to anyone.

AAA+ Dr. Allred did an excellent job and took the extra time to ensure I left happy. Same day extraction and post with temporary custom built flipper. Office staff and dental staff were super helpful and accommodating/welcoming. Office even took time to check in on me after hours the day of my procedure, definitely above and beyond. If you are looking for a great dentist, this place is it! (Facility is wheelchair accessible and extremely clean)

Dr. Palmer was recommended to me by a family member. It's sometimes challenging to find a dentist that I'm comfortable with and whose competence earns my trust. Not a problem here and all of the staff are very kind and professional. He does a good job of explaining potential issues and procedures, more so than any other dentist I've seen. He works fast and efficiently and provides same-day crowns. Just excellent work. Highly recommend.

Dr. Palmer is great. He’s knowledgeable about dental procedures. He takes the time to explain what is needed if complex dental work is needed (as I did). He explains what can happen if you don’t get the procedure done. Takes time to answer any questions. The staff is awesome also. Very friendly and efficient. They take the time to explain billing, insurance issues or whatever. Good place to have dental work.

Great! Dr. Palmer and his hygienists are all super friendly and ready to help. Dr. Palmer explained everything well and made sure I felt comfortable and could understand what was going on. Plus they have fun massage chairs which was v nice. Dr. Palmer is very kind to the other employees too which is great! Thank you so much, I have a beautiful replacement tooth now to hold me off until I can get an implant!

Let me first say that I am terrified of the dentist. When I went for my first visit, I was very pleased by the warm an helpful staff at the office. Dr. Allred was my dentist and let me tell you, he is the best dentist I have ever worked with. He explained everything that needed to be done and was warm and friendly. This made me less terrified. Going to SLC Dental was the best choice I could have made.

Dr. Sharp said, "Good job, your teeth are looking great!" and I literally thought he had confused me for someone else. I've had a fair amount of dental work done, so I'm used to multiple people commenting on my teeth by the end of a visit. Not the case here! No judginess and no aggressive sales tactics. I'll be staying with this office! PS: ask for Erandeny to clean your teeth, she's the best!

Dr palmer is a wonderful dentist. I have been to alot in my life and he has such great bedside manner when it comes to his services. He has a soft hand which makes procedures so much more comfortable with his gentle hand. His staff is professional, friendly, and supportive. I recommend them to any other dental facility. I'm so grateful I came to this office for my bridge and crown work. Over a decade of hiding my face because of a missing tooth. Today that nightmare is over. I got my natural smile back. I had my crown pop off after eating caramel and they were able to get me into the office within a day and then they were able to use the crown. (After getting all the caramel off of it!). Jess and Dr. Allred were able to take care of me in less than twenty minutes. It was quick, easy, and pain-free. This is the best dental office I have ever been to!
