Went to buy cake today 08/12/2023 in the morning and checked dates on cakes most of them expired on the 3rd of December 5 days ago so disappointed and the manager never seemed bothered at all I told the lady at the bakery she said do you want the cake marked down like seriously?that is food poisoning, I always buy there but today was disappointed ☹️ please people check dates of all foods before you buy and eat please

This is absolutely the best Spar in Cape Town, the food quality is next level and truly affordable, the owner is always friendly and assist whereever he can, just all around extremely friendly staff, Special thanks to Michelle at the food section always a smile and extremely friendly all the other especially Checkers and Pick a Pay can go and learn ftom this staff !!!

Love love love this Spar, mainly because of the fantastic people that work there. Wonderful variety of groceries (local and imported), fabulous bakery and deli, a friendly and helpful butcher, lovely fresh produce and much more. But again, the staff make this an excellent experience, nothing is too much trouble and they are engaging and friendly.

Best bakery in this neck of the woods, as well as friendly & helpful staff! Hats off to Shameemah, Claudia and the bakery team, as well as the exceptional till point staff in Beverley (BMW), Sandy, Rochelle, Sedicka and team. We enjoy warm fresh bread, rolls and cakes every day. Their malva pudding is a Sunday favourite!

A newly built shop with clean and well-spaced shelves should be the golden standard in spar stores. The staff is friendly and helpful while serving with a smile, yet again another store that made us regular visitors. The shelves are well stocked with fresh food and the in-store catering and coffee are of great quality.

Wow...a really impressive Spar. Everything you need and then some. The hot food section is very well run and there is a lot of choice for lunch. Good parking outside the front and back. More shops are open the surrounding area and this is becoming a nice little shopping precinct.

Bought one of their breakfast bagels that looked to have a good amount of stuffing inside, only to open the bagel and find they only put the ingredients on the front of the bagle to make it look fuller. I'm talking literally half the ingredients. This is a freaking joke.

This store is clean and they do help with photo copying too. They helped me print copies of my proof of address which was required for my PDP application at Gordon's Bay Driver's Testing Centre. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist

Spar mountain view is situated in a neat little mall has all the needs for daily shopping, great specials the layout of the shop is spacious the staff give good service and are friendly. Will definitely continue shopping there

Conveniently located, well-stocked and clean store with friendly staff, as one would expect from Spar. Close to Gordon's Bay main beach. May at times struggle to find a parking spot during weekend/holiday peak times.

Awesome setup, the bakery meals are sooooo good and their Rib meal is really value for money, tastes amazing. Pricing is also competitive, fresh fruit and well organised. Friendly staff too.

Christi and Michelle were amazing! We ordered platters and they were done early morning and so fresh that it was still warm. More than enough for our function - quality and DELICIOUS!!!

Love this new Spar! The fruit sns vegs are always fresh. Their bakery selections is great. The service is always with a smile which I think is what makes it one of the best so far.

Beautiful store, such a large variety of goods. Prices a bit heavy on some items, but worth the time. No parking in peak hours. I shop there at least once a week.
