If you go to a store, such as this one, with a very limited return policy please, PLEASE make sure to examine the products carefully and to test them within the store. I do NOT encourage you to buy any electronic products here. They are not tested properly before sold and you will only get the choice of an exchange or store credit. This isn’t fair considering that it was not an error on my part, I should have got money back onto my credit card. The miffy dual adapter was on sale, so it makes you think, are some of these products knowingly damaged? As the poor reviews stated for this location, be prepared for a customer service experience that you won’t forget! The manager tested out the product I had, going to the back, coming out and claiming that it worked when I had told them it didn’t work on several phones (The charger lights up but doesn’t charge any phone). She tried to make me believe that I could either take it back home with me or just exchange for another one—which I don’t trust exchanging it since I’m worried it won’t work again, and that I’ll have to drive 1 hr from where I live to return it once again! The manager tried to claim that I was being hostile (I was being firm that I would like to return the damaged product! It’s my money after all and it was not exactly a cheap product) even though she essentially made it seem like I was lying? It was very uncomfortable and I’ve never experienced something like this before. Usually it’s a simple return with a few questions and that’s it. It became a weird back and forth debate…over a broken charger that I had absolutely nothing to do with. Really!? Completely unwarranted and unfair treatment. I’ve been a shopper at Sukoshi for years but after this experience and once I use my store credit, I will most likely not shop here anymore. Very disappointing and not worth the stress.

Today, I was in this store attempting to find the price tag on a bowl, but there were no labels indicating the price. In the process, I accidentally broke the lid of the bowl. Shockingly, the store clerk immediately demanded that I refund the full price with an aggressive attitude, showing no concern for whether I was injured or for my personal safety. The clerk seemed solely focused on making me pay, completely disregarding common courtesy or understanding. From both my past experiences and those of my friends, I know that in other stores, accidental breakages usually do not require any compensation. Upon checking out, I had to show the clerk Canadian law, which states that if a product under ten dollars has no label, I bear no responsibility, and if it's over ten dollars, the compensation should be reduced by ten dollars. Only then, and with clear reluctance, did the clerk allow me to pay ten dollars less. What left me disheartened was the feeling of unfair and disrespectful treatment I received. Why was there no concern for my well-being when I broke something small? The absence of compassion and understanding, combined with the poor and money-driven attitude of the store clerk, is deeply troubling.

I'm a first time customer and was in a hunt of the ideal beauty products that are affordable yet does the job. I've been a customer of other big box companies that has a wide range of products, but seems to care less about the quality of products they deliver to their customers which either arrived tampered or it gets delivered at the wrong address. Sukoshi exceeded my expectations. The items I ordered online arrived in good condition, and they were generous and very considerate to include a few samples (which I didn't expect) to try which has a very far expiry date (2023/2024) unlike others who gives you the one that expires in a month or two. They have a promo that qualified my purchase for a free pair of cute socks and I wrote in the notes that I hope I get the color brown, but I'll be thankful with any color to be honest. They gave me a grey one with the bear design which was better and more wearable! Their attention to even the small details is impressive, hence this will now be my go-to online Beauty store.

Probably one of my favourite stores in Square One because of its uniqueness. But prices are really steep btw. I only like the store because of the convenience instead of ordering it from another Asian website and having to wait a whole month for my product. So glad for this store to get my Asian beauty/ other products. Love all the cute food and makeup. The design of the store is nice and the customer service is always good. I do wish they had more products and more of a stock of them. They carry the popular Asian makeup and skincare brands but do run out fast. I wish they had a pick up in store option for their website and wish their return policy wasn’t so horrible. The store is probably doing really well because of their horrible return policy. I didn’t like one of the toner I tried and sadly because it’s opened I cannot get a refund. I would suggest to other customers to really research thoroughly about the product online before purchasing it because you won’t get your money back if it fails to perform well.

Review for their online store - Avoid if you want to receive your order in less than a month It would be a 5 star shopping experience online if they shipped out packages in a timely manner. Yes, they are a small company so I do anticipate some (reasonable) delays. But I've ordered no less than 5 times and each time, it takes more than 5 days for my order to be shipped out. Their website claims only 1-3 days for processing. Right now I'm still waiting for my latest order to be shipped. It's been 11 days since I placed the order. I emailed them, and they said they "estimate it will be shipped by the end of the week" (and no apologies, either) so 14 days after I placed my order will it finally be shipped. That is an unacceptably long amount of time, even for BF. I won't order from this store again - there are other online stores based in Canada that sell kbeauty, that ship out the same day that you order, for no additional cost.

Finally a store that carries a good variety of Asian foods (snacks and ramen), stationary, a few houseware things, skincare and makeup, and other goods in GTA west! I always go here for their skincare as they have a great variety from Korea and some from Japan. They have reasonable prices as well and you can sign up for a membership to collect reward points with your purchases. The staff is always friendly and nice and there are designated ones in the skincare section who are very helpful in answering your questions. They also have a website and app that you can order from for home delivery and it was very easy to use. My delivery came quickly and nothing was damaged! If you are looking for sunscreens, they only sell these in-store while the rest of the skincare can be found online/in-app. The store is also clean and spacious. It is located next to Zara and across Banana Republic in Square One.

My Purito unscented serum ran out and I called in at 4pm asking whether the store has the specific product in stock, and the staff told me yes. I even clarified again on the phone because I was scared they mistaken the product with the Purito green buffet serum. The person reassured me that it was in the store. I came in less than an hour after I called and there was none on the shelf. I asked a staff nearby and she said it was soldout in the morning. I told her about my phone call and she responded that I probably called too early which is clearly not true (I said I called less than an hour before coming). I rarely give negative reviews but I'm extremely disappointed by the false information given. It's not an easy commute for me and that is the reason why I called in advance. The staff there clearly don't take their jobs seriously from my store experience and I don't intend to come back.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to an employee, who assisted me in this branch by the name of Mercedes. Usually, I just come in to this store just to browse through their stationary, snacks & BT21 products but today, during my usual browsing through the store, I took an interest in their Instant Noodle Ceramic Bowl. I was wandering if they had it in the color Red instead of Blue, and thankfully, the floor associate, Mercedes, was there to help. Now, here is why I want to recognize her for her help and it is because of her bright welcoming personality. It's hard to find employees who have such an inviting, kind personality like Mercedes and she was so helpful too by checking the colors that were available for the product that I wanted. Definitely I will visit this branch again for this type of quality service~

I bought a lipgloss yesterday in Sukoshi Mart from the EATON CENTRE of DUNDAS, but the saleswoman gave me the wrong shade. Obviously i didn't know it, so when i got home i opened the box, but i immediately saw that it was the wrong product (so i didn't even open the gloss). I went back today, with my receipt and the lipgloss (that I protected with a bag to keep it nice), but the manager from this store didn’t want exchange the WRONG product or refund me because it was open (it was still 30$). She didn’t even try to talk to me, she directly went back in her office! I don't think this is right, as that it was one of the sellers who gave me the wrong product, and not me, so how can I know if it's the right one without opening it? Not even a small commercial gesture, big lack of compassion and professionalism.

Just amazing store that has helped me with quarantine, no joke. Not only do they have a large selection of skincare, lifestyle, beauty, stationary and snacks, they also really engage with their customers which I love! I checked their website almost daily during quarantine. The website interface is clean, navigation is easy, they offer rewards and points redemption ( I love their reward code offers!), and they now host their own blog, which I actually hope they update more. They price their items higher than most retailers so I actually order from yesstyle more often, but now with in person shopping available, I’ll be able to swatch in shop and hopefully shops from here more! Support your local businesses, especially one who puts this much effort and care into providing the best experience for everyone

Love the selection of make up and skincare brands (wish you had more brands to offer soon), nice and accommodating staff at your Square One location. I'm not as pleased with your bags though (upon cash out), brown paper bags are sustainable but these are not sturdy enough to carry around the mall if you want to shop around after. They rip easily, no handles and they are way too thin. Please improve the bag's quality, there are other ways to keep it sustainable but not a pain in the a* to carry around. I spend a lot when I go to this store, I expected better to go bags upon purchasing. It makes the products and store look cheap. Sigh.. :(

  • Karin Salk

UPDATE: After reaching out to the email provided in the owner's response, the company only offered a 15% discount code on a future online purchase. Why would I waste more money on another product from this company when the last product I bought was so cheaply made? I bought a beautiful headband here last month. Unfortunately, the quality is very poor. After fewer than 10 uses, the fabric has already ripped from the base of the headband, and the underside part is already pilling. Needless to say, I won't be buying anything from this shop again. It's a shame, really, because they have cute stuff. But the quality just isn't up to par.

Sukoshi is a nice lovely corner of Square One that meets all your anime, kpop, and Korean beauty needs. I normally come to this location to view what trinkets they have in store and I love browsing their journaling section. I find that they have a lot of stickers and washi tape that you can't really find anywhere else. I'm glad they expanded their stock to lightsticks. It's crazy to me that I can walk to Square One and purchase these, as they're normally SUPER overpriced at the concerts or to ship from overseas. The prices here can be really steep, though so if budget isn't too much of an issue for you, it's a great place to shop!

  • dakota roberts

Been a long time supporter of Sukoshi Mart and have been to ALL locations. Today I wasted money and time on a go bus ticket and woke up early to come to their Scarborough Town Centre Temp Store in hopes of receiving a FREE Pillow or Slippers for a loved one. I traveled 2 hours just to wait in line for half an hour, see people bud in and not wait in line. PLUS get inside and try to get a bag but given attitude and told the Bags were reserved. No one specified anything to me about that and I was given more attitude and lied to. I will never support their stores or purchase products ever again.

  • Nicki Nguyen

Lots of cute stationary products like pens, pencil cases, stickers, washi tape, sticky notes, etc... In addition to that there are a plethora of adorable plushies (they are pricy though) You can find a good selection of Asian skincare and beauty products! Also they have phone cases, jewelry, hair accessories, and much more knick knacks. My favourite thing in the store is their snack section All in all the store is super clean and it's always a great place to just stop by and see what they have! Keep in mind that their prices are higher compared to other sites online!

  • Carol F

Located on the second floor near the south end of Square One, this Sukoshi Mart provides your one-stop shop for Asian products. It is a pretty big and cute store that ranges from face products, snacks, plushies, and more. There are lots of Asian snacks to buy and also great popup cards to get for any occasion. The staff are quick to service and cash you out at the cashier area. They are very well educated in the beauty products that they offer as well. The store is well spaced out, products are well labeled and displayed and their store logo is cute as well!

  • Farddana Diana Selim

I came here 3 days ago with my husband. They have some pretty cool stuff here! From drinks to snacks to food, many collectibles and toys! So many accessories and makeup and skincare. I actually came to this store because I wanted this serum which unfortunately was sold out! I was kinda sad about that but I’ll probably purchase it from online. I looked around the store and saw their cool drinks! I left the store empty handed but probably next time I’ll purchase something I like. Although I do recommend people to come check this place out!

  • Joanne Ngo

We were paying customers, we have already paid then we decided to take a look for any additional products that would catch our eyes. However there was this lady that has been pointing at us constantly. Even after her shift has finished she was constantly pointing and talking about us. This was around 4:16PM today. This lady was wearing a black windbreaker, short and a heavyset built. We are very unhappy about this experience to the point where want to return our products and never shop here ever again.

  • Sodana Ung

I was very disappointed with my experience at this store. I am an avid shopper of Sukoshi Mart and I love their products but their customer service is quite lacking. I was practically ignored and brushed off the entire time when I was looking to buy a lip tint. It was very frustrating for me to have to stand there for more than 15 minutes just waiting for assistance. I love Sukoshi Mart and I normally never have an issue with shopping in-store but this was just extremely disappointing.

  • liliankuan 1 Kuan

This Asian store definitely not Japanese or Korean store. Sure owned by local Chinese here. This kind of enterprise in Canada blooming and make a lot of money. I don’t find it’s interesting and the price is way too expensive comparing with Southeast countries. All the soft stuffed toys and mini plastic toys made in China now more expensive than before.Expensive than Toys’R Us. My advice - if you buy a lots, better buy a flight ticket to HK and carry back 46kg of toys to Canada.

  • N

It was super cute in here. They even have a cute teddy bear claw machine with high-quality stuffies there. They have everything from beauty, food (candy and dried), kitchenware (lots of chopsticks), stationary, and so much more. The store is very clean and everything is laid out beautifully. Their prices are not bad, however, most of them are unmarked which was really frustrating. They have some figurines and socks for pretty decent prices as well. It was definitely an experience!

  • Monique Cornelio

Absolutely love my experience at this store! Similar to Miniso it has its own makeup on sale but with more variety (beauty products) than Miniso can offer. Its a mix of a konbini in that it sells drinks and snacks (ie onigiri, ramune and ramen). Very kawaii! I appreciate that the store has a rewards program, however the next time I visit I will get a card since the devices were not working at the time I was there, so good luck to me and happy shopping for those who come here!

  • Harsirat

DISAPPOINTED!!! I’ve bought over dozens of products from this business but their in store customer service is ridiculous. I was left absent after asking an employee for a lipstick, same employee stood at the entrance and frequently made eye contact with me and my acquaintance. This is ridiculous customer service. I have never once been ignored like this. Please shop from other stores such as Kioki and… or shopdama!

  • Jen Y

The workers at the cash desk here are super rude, they need better training. I was trying to get a refund for my order and I wasn’t aware of the policies since I was mis-informed yesterday. However, as I was trying to figure out what the policy was. Someone behind the cash desk was just being so rude about the whole situation… Shop online to avoid refund policy issues since you can refund online purchases.

  • Kevin Kelo

Regulars at the location with my partner. Nice selection of plushies and other various items. The snacks are awesome, but it can be overpriced in some instances. Customer service is exceptional, John never fails to give us the ins and outs of the products, with stellar recommendations and more. Although we haven’t seen John in a while, they are truly amazing, give them a raise!

  • Leah 95

A very adorable store! If you are interested in Asian beauty products, snacks, stationary and plushies , I would recommend this shop. The staff are very kind. I have brought plushies ,socks and sheet masks ( skin care masks) before. I have always been happy with my purchases. Perhaps a little on the pricey side ,however a lot of the goods are imported. So it makes sense.

  • Joy B

Excellent Customer service I wanted to buy a k beauty lip tint and the salesperson was so helpful and patient ( it was 20min to closing) in helping choose a colour. I walked out with exactly what I was looking for! I'm glad they've expanded their product selection. K beauty is next level because it's effective and inexpensive with quality ingredients.

  • Mee O.

Happy to have this kind of Asian store here in the suburbs. They have a great selection of a lot of the popular Korean skincare brands and make up and very fair prices. Lots very cute but absolutely uneccesary things, and gadgets. Lots of yummy Asian snacks too. They offer free memberships that let's u collect points to redeem gift items later on. Worth the visit.

  • Cristina Vasilenco

Great store with selection of lots of different unique stuff such as cosmetics and skin care products, stationary, plush toys, cute socks and phone cases, jewelery and sunglasses, crafted post cards, some grossery produce. Very attentive and helpful customer service. Love that store and definitely will be back to buy more face mask from them( I tried and love it).

  • Yesha Shah

Bought some skin care products and they had really old stock. The employee who was helping me pick items didn’t let me know that the Isntree product that I am buying is an older version and there is a new version in the market with improvements. Obviously it didn’t suite my skin and made it really dry. They don’t take products back if it has been opened.

  • Jonathan Chan

Very poor and unclear return policy. Purchased some snacks and asked for the return policy. The store associate who checked me out said 14 days. I came back a week later to return an item and a different store associate saids no return on snacks even though my item was unopened. The receipt also saids nothing about this. Not a good experience at all.

  • Winnie Chen

The managers of this location Nancy and Linda are super unhelpful when resolving issues and they have a no return policy and they also double scan lots of mistakes so please keep your receipt as they double scanned my items and charged me twice but claimed I was trying to scam them. They should be shut down for fraud and double charging me.

  • kismetcookie

I LOOOOOVE Sukoshi Mart. I order online and they have a good selection of skincare plus a lot of other cute items. Shipping is always fast and well packaged. My favourite thing is that I always have peace of mind that there will be no ridiculous duty fees ordering from them as opposed to other online sites shipping internationally.

  • Rabia Malik

I really enjoyed my visit to sukoshi mart today. I asked for some help to find a lip tint that was similar to the one i was currently wearing, and the lady working there was so kind and helped me. I don’t know what her name was but she was working at the makeup section on july 11. She was so kind and helpful towards me and others!

  • Carx 13

Sukoshi Mart has a wide selection of Asian goods. Very helpfull and attentive staff. The products are very cute and neat. Many different flavors of noodles candies and drinks. You can get a nice pair of chop sticks here! The stuffed animals based on anime characters are very cute. Very neat store to checkout if your in Square One.

  • Cecilia Mok

Located on the second floor near Walmart, this cute gift store of Asian products carries all kinds of things like snacks, drinks, toys, large plush collection, home decorations, cosmetics, stationery, stickers, and accessories. A great place for gifts. They have recently installed some claw machines too.

  • Huda A

Very cute plush toys, accessories (hair accessories, earrings, etc.) Thay also have a variety if asian snacks and some stationary. A lot of asian makeup and skin care. The staff are very friendly but the prices of somw of the items are way too high! You can get some of them elsewhere for mucb cheaper.

  • OfficialG Tui

Sukoshi Mart is a charming store offering a range of cute items, including the BT21 line from BTS, Hello Kitty products, ramen packs, crane games, concert lights, and Kpop albums. While the service may not be top-notch, it's still a great place to explore if you're a fan of these products!

  • max smith

Great experience! Alena was very helpful she took the time to help me find great Korean skincare suitable to my skin and is very knowledgeable on the products. Overall service and experience seems to be Amazing!!! Super amazing!!!! The cashiers also are very amazing. Will be back again❤️⭐️

a lovely store ♡︎ ! the products are great quality here and the staff are extremely helpful ! so much asian products here . they have skincare, snacks and stationary but the next time i come here I will totally buy some lip tint!! i saw some earrings which i have to check out next time .

  • flabbergasted

A very good variety of K-skincare and K-makeup products, and lots of unique foods (I had raindrop jelly with a lotus flower encased inside.) However, the ramen is a bit overpriced and easy to find in other Asian supermarkets such as Galleria & T&T supermarket.

  • A. J.

Bought couple of items over the weekend and purchased a paper bag to carry those. That paper bag gave me a deep papercut as i was trying yo grab my items. I hope you consider redesigning it or consider using different materials as this bag is really sharp

  • Minji B.

If you love Japanese and Korean stationery, cosmetics, snacks etc., this is a great place to be! Maybe a little bit on the pricey side but if you're looking to just browse and see what they have, this is a great place! Don't be tempted too much. …

  • Lucy Guo

Stuffs are cute however overpriced. One item I purchased was marked with a 30% off sale, however when I checked the receipt only 10% was applied. So please do check your receipt carefully. The cashier who helped us was unpleasant to interact with.

  • Ajit Khare

Big spacious store, great place for shopping if you love shopping charm pens, amulets, key chains, snacks, stationery items, greeting cards. Greeting cards are highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent customer service. Keep it up!

  • Kiera K (Kiera)

The store offers all sorts of items and they are super cute. They also sell snacks such as chips, asian drinks and onigiri. I got their 4 onigiris and 3/4 the rice was dry and hard. If they start selling fresh onigiri then I'd give them 5stars.

  • 汪萌

lots of stuff like food, cosmetics, socks, toys....I really like the rabbit hat , the ear is moveable. You can find the popular 3CE makeup stuff. But I found the mask price is little higher. I will come back for seeking more fun stuff.

  • Michelle Kim

Really happy with their service and delivery. It’s faster than Amazon! Everything came in one day or less. The only downside is that I see some of their popular products are out of stock. Hopefully they will be replenished soon.

  • Julian Aboui

Adorable items and some fun weeb snacks and treats. Followed COVID protocol and made sure that capacity limits where met Great store friendly staff who continued to check in with us at the store. Overall great experience …

  • Yuri DC

Went here when I visited Ontario. I was able to buy k-beauty products which we didn't really have back in Winnipeg. My partner and I loved the place so much that we went back on the same week and bought more items ❤️ …

  • Min

Really cute shop with lots of Japanese stationary, food, and anime merchandise. As well as Korean skincare. Only nit to pick is some items are overpriced but this is always I store I stop by in to enjoy the vibe and energy.

  • Louis V

Its okay, it's very expensive for what it is, but you can find some stuff here you can't find in other stores and would have to order online. It's clean and the layout of the store is nice, it's not overly crowded either.

  • Penguin Tan

I was sad the one closer in Toronto was closed. Found this one by chance and was amazed. Got so many amazing things that I would not otherwise have found or gotten unless I went to Japan. Very happy with my purchases.

  • Dakota Tram

The store offers wide range of Korean skin care and make up at such affordable price. And it works for my skin. The services here are always nice and friendly. They give good advices based on your issues.

  • yunsheng jiang

Very disappointed experience. I saw those cute socks in store, which were three for ten dollars. I didn’t check the receipt till I got back home. Those three pairs of socks cost me 12.95+10 dollars!!!!!

  • Kylin Gao (Key)

Over-priced stuff from (2-3x markup) China, if you're willing to wait, AliExpress, taobao, and even item couriers will save you money. For convenience it's not bad, but for value, stay away.

  • Mek Lee

So I bought a pack of stickers, which is only 1 page of less than 30 stickers, and it costed friggin $5, and get this: all the stickers fell off within 24 hours. Bad quality items here!

  • Allison Sajid (Alli)

Love this place! You can find a ton of snacks skincare, stationary and plushies. Lots of fun to look around at all the unique products. My only gripe is everything is very expensive.

This store has many different types of unique foods and drinks and other products. Understandably it's harder to find many of these products in other stores but it is kind of pricy.

  • Vivienne Lindo-Romero

They're very knowledgeable of what they sell, the staff is very nice, only thing is that they always have limited stock and direct you to online because a lot of items are popular.

  • Charny A

Really great food selection, best place to get my favourite ramen for a decent price. Really enjoyed the layout when I have been and their shipping is super fast and packaged well.

Located at former Bath & Body Work. Lots of cute stuffed animals, makeup and skincare are from hot trends. Prices are a bit higher than other stores, but quality is good.
