Good Amazing... A sabarmati junction it was better than my expectations for a typical railway station it's so good big all trains are stopped there in Ahmedabad junction. I saw one thing that every thing in the station was working, there is no such thing which is not working TV, all lights, fans, etc etc. The main railway station of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is also the biggest railway station within Gujarat and also one of the major railway station in India. It is the highest income-generating division in Western Railways. It connects to Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Howrah and other major cities of India. Also it is central railway station of Gujarat which connects to Saurashtra, Kutch, Vadodara, Surat, Himmatnagar, Bhavnagar, Palanpur, etc. It was maintained quite well and kept neat as much as the can. It's a huge railway station as my expectations. It has tea stall, Food stall, snacks stall or few books stalls and other stalls. Station is very neat and clean... Toilets facilities available at a various places and huge waiting area with separate waiting area for reserved passengers or its facility also with irctc executive lounge. It has escalator facilities. It also has a pathway for auto rickshaw and taxi drivers you can very easily get rickshaw for your destination. The Station from inside is very informative of all the existing and arriving train is provided on digital notice which are at regular intervals, along with huge digital clock also available at regular intervals.

The Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation selected Sabarmati Junction to be redeveloped in a public-private partnership. The corporation, a joint venture of the Rail Land Development Authority and the state-owned Ircon International, invited requests for qualifications to redevelop the station; nine applications from developers and funders were received. The station's theme is the Dandi March led by Mahatma Gandhi, who lived in Sabarmati. The redevelopment planned to revamp and connect the existing Sabarmati meter- and broad-gauge lines for passenger convenience. The proposed Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed bullet train, developed by the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), is expected to pass between the lines. The rebuilt station will have a passage to access the bullet-train corridor.

This is a small but very important railway station of big Indian Railways Network. As per my knowledge all local and long distance trains have stoppage at this place. It is equipped with useful facilities like wheel chair etc. The cleanliness and rush free environment of this place i like most. यह बड़े भारतीय रेलवे नेटवर्क का एक छोटा लेकिन बहुत महत्वपूर्ण रेलवे स्टेशन है। मेरी जानकारी के अनुसार इस स्थान पर सभी स्थानीय और लंबी दूरी की ट्रेनों का ठहराव है। यह व्हील चेयर आदि जैसी उपयोगी सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित है। मुझे इस जगह की स्वच्छता और भीड़ मुक्त वातावरण सबसे ज्यादा पसंद है।

There are 2 Sabarmati stations with code SBT or SBI, both about 3 km apart. The station code is not written anywhere. Also there's no nearest public transport to this station. Nearest one being RTO cross road which is about 1 km away to board city buses. Also there's no eatery within 500m radius of the station. The only catering on the station is closed. You can't even get water bottle or small biscuit packet here. Thank you Modiji. I wish you open chai ki tapri here instead of being a PM.

Sabarmati junction is second big railway station of Ahmedabad after Ahmedabad junction (kalupur). It is situated near torrent power plant and Sabarmati river. It is the first station comes when we go towards Saurashtra region from Ahmedabad. This railway station is very big in capacity of number of tracks available on platforms. Recently I have heard that this station is going to become main railway station of Ahmedabad. Almost all trains get stop here.

If you visit here Parking Supervisor convince and manipulate you to park your vehicle in parking place and charge money for that, although you come here to drop or receive someone. Don't trust them, there is huge waiting area. Sabarmati Jn. is neat and clean station, You can start your journey from here to avoid Crowd of Kalupur Station. It will be Future's major Station of Ahmedabad for Bullet train also. Only few Premium Train have stoppages here.

It is a suburb railway station at Ahmedabad, connects trains going North. It is in the process of being developed as a full fledged station. Rajdhani Train for Delhi stops here on both sides of its journey. Very convenient for people living nearby for boarding as well as getting down. Saves time that way. However auto rickshaw drivers here generally indulge in malpractice with passengers. There are no coolies to be found.

Most of people confused about this station. This station is Sabarmati(SBT).very few Trains towards Gandhinagar Capital (GNC) & Viramgam (VG) stops here. Trains for North Side and Botad side stops on the other Sabarmati station (SBIB) which is 3.5 km from here. So, be very careful when you are travelling with family and/or heavy luggage. To see SBIB please refer map.

Well clean and green station...and Peace full. First when I visited here from Delhi from Ashram express .. I link the two name of Mahatma Gandhi palace i.e. 'Sabarmati Ashram". I like this railway station .Mostly train provide there Hault for there passenger .We can get the train of Delhi-Jaipur-AjmerAhmedabad Route. It's well connect from ride as well.

Clean and well maintained platform. Found less number of crowd. 3 platforms. Nearest railway station is ahmedabad. Lack of facilities like food stall, newspaper stall etc. Only one washroom. Only two ticket window but only 1 is usually open so if u sit from this station then you need to come early because of long queue on ticket window.

Advantages:- Very Clean Less Crowd Food Stalls are available Enjoyable & Comfortable to wait for around few hours Disadvantages:- Only 1 foot over bridge is available & that's also with one side entry/exit Summary:- Many areas are being developed but this station is far better than main Ahmedabad Kalupur Railway Station

There are two Sabarmati named Railway station i.e. Sabarmati BG (SBIB) & Sabarmati Junction (SBT). SBIB operates for towards Delhi going train & SBT for towards Porbandar.. People used to confused to differentiate the both.. Distance between both the stn is hardly 3km @50/- from autorickshaw..

Good railway station but just don't be confuse with another Sabarmati railway station. Many times I have booked cab with another railway station. It js near to Gandhinagar. People who want to go Gandhinagar or SG highway, should prefer Sabarmati railway rather than kalupur railway station

Good Railway Station located out to central city. So if you going towards North major train stops here. Don't get confused bcoz thr are two Sabarmati station one linked towards rajkot and other towards mehsana. So always clearly say to taxi driver for that. Few Food stalls is available .

Starting point for upcoming Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train Project. A developing terminus for Ahmedabad to decongest the main railway station of City-Kalupur. Passengers coming by trains from North can de board here to pick up cabs and to avoid heavy traffic of main station-Kalupur.

as we know Sabarmati Ke sant tune kar diya kamal. this station is Not as busy as Kalupur Main station of Ahemdabad. Cleaning is also good. This station is outside from ahemdabad near subhash bridge. nearest BRTS station is 500 meter Right from exit gate of this station.

As per the rest till train time, all is good. But the train coach indicator is not available, so you will not know the exact place of all coaches where they can be stopped. So if your luck is not good you will be wet during catching your coach during the rainy season.

Nobody knows about this station. Not a single stall on the platform. Cant even get a bottle of water. No coolies to help with luggage. People come from the platform, use the toilets in train and go back. So the toilets arent clean even before the train leaves.

Clean place. But towards mehsana and towards Rajkot station is too far. I think both station must have different name as east and west. Because many of don't know. The to and from train also mentioned at both place, actually not coming the train at the place.

This station is preferable over kalupur railway station when one want to go Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad or passenger has work near sabarmati area as it is hasslefree. But as only limited trains arrive here, kalupur station is preferred generally over it.

Cleaner and having less crowded railway station compare to Kalupur. Even outside station is also less crowded. Basically train going towards Delhi/Jaipur/Agra cross through this station. Auto, cab and BRTS(Aprx 1km) is easily available outside station.

Good option to board the trains from ahmedabad, you can avoid the kalupur station and the traffic if your train stops here and the place you are visiting is nearby. Beware there are two sabarmati stations, this is called sabarmati dharampur.

This is Sabarmati Junction Railway Station (Locally known as Sabarmati station Central Jail). You can get trains going towards Kutch and Bhuj from this station. Always specify the driver that you want to go to Sabarmati Station Central Jail

Best place to relax. Best place for boarding/deboarding the trains. You can come here to relax for sometime. It is located on Ahmedabad - Viramgam Jn. Main Line. Trains stop like Mail Express Superfast Intercity and Some times Memu also.

There are two stations named Sabarmati, One Sabarmati Station is for North Gujarat - Mehsana, Palanpur, Delhi Second one, Sabarmati Station is 4 Km. Away from first one, Second Sabarmati Station is for Kutchh / Bhuj and Western Gujarat.

This Rail Station is in the mid of Ahmedabad Junction & Kali Road Rail Stations. This Rail Station is in the State of Gujarat. Only Express Trains are available at this Rail Station. Kali Road is a Rail Station in Ahmedabad.

It's clean and tidy Railway station. Good to see that upgradation of platform's is going on. The railway track is little tilt so when the train is coming on platform. It look amazing. You can also enjoy Sunset at platform 1.

The Railway Station is very clean. Also the people at the inquiry gives good information as per our questions and also the person in speaker gives information of every train that is coming or going through the station.

Everything is good but no lift or escaltors....there.... difficult for senior citizens who r travelling alone....to handle there luggage and climb on foot stair bridge...aprox 30-40 steps....quite difficult......

Small Village Rly Station No Food stall here only 1 vendor here who sells water bottle and samosa small. Bring your own food, water if you are going to Gandhidham bhuj train as there is no big station in between

A very clean railway station with plenty of dustbins in the platforms, a small cafeteria which retails tea, snacks etc, waiting rooms for men and women (non AC), digital displays indicating train statuses.

Trains towards Saurashtra and Kutch depart from this station. The station is clean and well-maintained. This station is near to Metro station which is directly connect to Sardar Patel Cricket Stadium.

The station is not congested, noisy, dirty as normally our Railway stations are. It is going to be originating place for North bound trains. Saves time for the population living in North Ahmedabad.

No parking in station Tya jao to વ્હીકલ laine na jata parking chhe j nahi. Ane auto rixa vala 3 kilometer na 200 thi 300 rs mange chhe to tya thi metro station najik j chhe to teno labh levo....

Very clean station and nearest to subhash circle.. so from here yu can easily find rickshaw BRTS metro and AMTS.. atm is also not far.. at midnight also any transportation avaliable

This station is not good enough, even there is no basic facilities available . Station of a huge city Ahmedabad & also from Gujarat with this low level , can't even think .

It's very confusing as there are two sabarmati stations and if you reach the wrong one like I did they will charge you a minimum of 100-150 to take you to otyher station.

Well maintained station. Outer of Ahmadabad Junction. Easily accessible. Good for people traveling to Gandhi Nagar and planning to stay at the outskirts of Ahamdabad.

Sabarmati Station is less busy then Kalupur Station. North India train connection stops here. Its better if u board a train from this station to avoide crowd.

(Visited in October 2022) - Sabarmati Jn Railway station is a satellite station of Ahmedabad, a neat and clean one, located across the Sabarmati River.

Nice station Clean and green Trains available for Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Somnath, Gandhinagar. Water hut, And Cool Drinking Water available

The only problem is that, it doesn't have any food stall or even a small tea shop at the station.... Neither is it available around the station.

Place is pretty clean and has easy access to city but it would be great if there is a connectivity between sabarmati junction and sabarmati bg

Good railway station. Always crowded. Good service to passengers. Very much clean and well maintained. Nearer to Ahmedabad railway station.

One of the well maintained railway stations in Gujarat. All the major trains have a stoppage including Delhi Ahmedabad Rajdhani Express.

Neat and clean. Lifts are available for passengers to change platforms. Finding porters is bit difficult. Parking space is available.

Check the station code on your ticket if it is SBT , board here. Else go to other station which is 3km away (SBMI)

If you are looking for Sabarmati bhuj special this one is the station don't confuse it with the second sabarmati
