Really -- I can't say enough good things about Sach and everyone who works for him. I'm going to try to do a thorough post here, so apologies for the length in advance! Sach, Lev, and the rest of the crew were wonderful. This is the first time in my (almost) 10 years and 8 moves in NYC that I've ever used movers -- I'll never move without them again, and I'll always use Sach's. I was caught in a terrible situation during the COVID-19 shut down here in NYC with my lease ending, rent going up, and having not had any sort of income for over a month with my job closed. The professionalism, understanding, and conscientiousness of the guys at Sach's Movers, particularly Sach himself, really made all the difference in my moving experience. I don't know how I would have gotten through it using someone else. From the initial contact and quote, to the last drop off (there were two moving days -- a week apart -- see below), to the follow up a few days later, these guys were and are the best. Especially if you're moving anywhere in NYC -- they're local, located in Inwood, Manhattan, and they know their way around. A few details: loved the fact that Sach had me send my inventory in the form of a video (so much easier to be detailed and precise than trying to create a list!), and he was quick with a quote as well. Sach was even willing to work with me on discounting the price when I found another company who gave me a quote slightly less -- which made it more possible for me financially, in light of the pandemic -- and I was so thankful because I had wanted to use Sach's company after hearing the RAVE reviews of neighbors in Inwood and reading others on Yelp. And the actual experience did not disappoint. They packed everything with care -- I love that they use paper rather than bubble wrap so that everything is recyclable! -- and all wore gloves and masks the entire time, asking that I do the same -- another thing that I really appreciated, given the pandemic circumstances. I had a few things I left at the old apt that I was trying to sell instead of move -- but when, a week later, when I wasn't able to get them all out in the allotted time, I called Sach in a panic, he and Lev were thankfully available and came that same day, saving me from having to figure it out myself (and with an injured left heel and right ankle to top it all off...), and again working with me on the price to make it something I could reasonably afford. I cannot thank them enough for helping me on that rainy night. Now, as I've slowly begun to unearth myself from all the boxes in my new place, I appreciate them even more -- I'm not done yet, but so far everything's here and in great condition! And -- if anyone needs a great moving company who's also expert with moving a PIANO -- Sach's is a must. I had to move an upright and was very nervous about trusting my instrument with anyone. I read that Sach and his guys had done it, and done it well, for others, so I decided to take a chance -- they were wonderful on that count as well. I could continue -- but this review is already so long -- and hopefully something in the above has you already convinced to use Sach's Movers. Because I can guarantee, whatever your concerns are, Sach's will answer them; whatever challenges your move has (within reason), Sach's will meet them. I can't stress enough how great they are. Seriously -- if you're considering using movers at all -- choose them.

First and foremost Sach’s movers are HIGHLY DEPENDABLE AND PROFESSIONAL! I recently moved to a new apartment and found Sach’s movers online and I am so happy I did!! I sent them an email and they responded ASAP like within the hour . I sent a description of my 1 BEDROOM apt and they sent a quote back ASAP. They were very flexible With their schedule I locked in the date and sent the deposit. I has some last minute changes which they handled with ease and they even took my tv off the wall mount in my old apt and back on the wall at my new apt (just an fyi there is a separate fee installing the tv mount but it’s reasonable!) the night before they give you a ring to confirm your date and time. I had a 10 am appointment. I got a call at 9:59AM that they had arrive and were on their way up!! ON TIME !!! They literally were so fast and efficient they wrapped everything and made sure my valuables were protected! EVERYTHING ARRIVED IN MY HOUSE IN ONE PIECE AND EXACTLY HOW I WANTED IT! They got everything into my new apt so fast ! Put my bedframe together and set my couches down exactly where I liked in the living room. They even let me try a few different ideas for my living room couches before I decided on the final design! Once everything was set up exactly how I liked they packed up , I paid the rest of the balance and they went on their way. They are so polite and so efficient. The price is so affordable for moving in NYC! TRUST ME BOOK THEM FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE A WORRY AT ALL! They will get the job done with a smile! THANK YOU SACH’s MOVERS !!! Sach's Movers is fantastic. I've used them to move a house-full of belongings from New York City to Florida on two separate occasions, and both times they have been incredibly professional, efficient, careful, trustworthy, personable, and very reasonably-priced. Like many of us, I find moving extremely stressful but Sach and his workers set my mind completely at ease both times. I hope that I do not have to move again any time soon, but if I do there is absolutely no question I would use them again. Before learning of Sach's company, I had used other movers to transport my belongings across multiple states, and the results were nowhere nearly as positive as my experiences with Sach. On top of it all, Sach is a great guy and one of the most awesome, down-to-earth, and honest business owners I have ever encountered. In case anyone is wondering about some of the negative reviews on here, I urge you not to believe them as they are clearly the work of a single nasty person with an illogical vendetta. If anyone is questioning the veracity of this review, please look up my name online--I am a college professor and I have the highest standards for professional conduct. Sach not only meets those standards, but exceeds them far above and beyond. I normally do not find the time to write reviews, but my experiences with Sach's Movers leave me wanting to spread the word to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Over the past 13 years, Sach’s team has moved me four times, from 800 feet to 800 miles (the latest). I keep going back because it’s personal with Sach. He’s not moving my stuff, he’s moving me. He answers his mobile and responds immediately. That translates to foreman Chris – whose 13 years with Sach gives him a keen eye for what a move will take and what the crew is doing moment to moment. The team is careful, efficient, and respectful. They show up on time and ready to go. They work together smoothly, from packing to moving to unpacking. They’re family, and they treat me like family. A week after moving me five states earlier this month – a tightly coordinated three-day job where nothing chipped or broke – Sach found a framed picture that somehow was left behind. He called with great concern that I might be missing a memory item and told me to look out for it. Two days later, the photo of an important family memory arrived very carefully packaged. We used Sach and his team recently to move a few large pieces of furniture from a 2nd-floor walk-up into a 3rd-floor walk-up, and we also used them to move our upright piano last fall. Sach's Movers are a total class act. They arrive punctually and work efficiently. Sach and all of his crew are friendly and they maintain positive attitudes the whole time even when the job is challenging and tiring! Sach works with integrity and thoughtfulness and we can tell that he trains his movers to do the same. They are committed to doing what you hired them to do, with excellence. Both times they took a lot of time and care in wrapping the furniture and piano and we noticed no scratches, etc. after the move. They even stayed to help put our furniture back together, even though they are not the ones who took it apart. Sach's Movers makes it possible to have a positive moving experience! We absolutely plan to use them again for any moving needs, and we recommend you do the same!!

I highly recommend Sach's Movers. They base their pricing per cu. ft. so it is very fair and not guess work. They were honest, and helped me save a lot by delivering reusable boxes. I like that they follow a Green Initiative Program. The fact that they are conscious of the earth's resources are a big plus. Their movers are also trained to pack a particular way. I have used other movers (Dumbo Movers) who have shoved my items into boxes haphazardly, with no system and utilized more boxes than necessary. Sach's Movers utilized the each cu. ft. efficiently and securely. At least Sach's Movers organize each box to contain the contents of a particular drawer or section from my kitchen. It was easy to relocate everything based on the theme of the box. Sach's Movers move swiftly and smoothly. I highly recommend using their services.

We have used Sach’s three times to move our daughter while in school in NY and now as she begins her career. I can’t say enough good things. First of all any reviews which say I’m not a real customer are wrong. I am. Sach and his team are professional, courteous and make customer service a main priority. They go above and beyond to make your move as stress free and efficient as possible and are extremely careful with your property. In a world where animosity and anger are everywhere, it is so nice to find a business owner who really tries to put the customer first, while running his business in a professional and profitable fashion. I will always use Sach’s in New York unless our schedules don’t work. In my opinion you can’t get better movers!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sach and his crew were AMAZING!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They were extremely professional, on time, accommodating and very friendly. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and moved from an apartment to a house. We had a lot of boxes and heavy items and Sach, Willy and the crew treated everything with care and ease. They were quick yet cautious with all of our items bringing everything down our 5 flight of stairs. I’ve never had such a great experience with service like this one. My husband was in awe with how efficient and professional everyone was. I highly recommend this service. Just fantastic! Do not pay attention to any poor review towards Sach’s company. They are truly the best to work with. We wish them much continued success!

I used Sach's based on a recommendation from a friend when my family and I moved to NJ in July. I was SO impressed with their speed, reliability, and affordability that I called them again when we had to move in early November! (Long story.) As far as I'm concerned, they're now the only moving company in the NYC area. CANNOT say enough good things about them. Editing to say the following in response to some of the other (unfathomable) comments on here: in two moves in five months, the quotes Sach gave me were not only firm but reasonable. The second move ended up involving an unplanned extra trip, and - even though I offered! - Sach wouldn't hear of me paying him more money. Add 'honest to a fault' to my previous compliments.

Sach did a great job with our move! He and his team packed all our things for us, including uninstalling items that were attached to the walls and disassembling furniture, quickly and efficiently, and he was very flexible and accommodating when we made changes to the plan. He labelled each box and moved them to the specific rooms where we directed, and transported all our large, heavy, and fragile items without any damage. Additionally, he and his team offered to assist us in other ways not directly related to the move, and were very punctual (they even came 10 minutes early!). We are very grateful that we found such a good moving company.

We moved within New York in October 2023, from a two-bedroom apartment to a three-bedroom apartment. We had an excellent experience. First, Sach himself came to inspect our place and provide an estimate. (Moving is expensive, but we thought the price was fair, given the amount of work involved.) The day before the move, four people came to pack our items, which took several hours. The day of the move, the same four people came, and spent over 10 hours moving our boxes and furniture. They were careful, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire experience. We were very happy.

Sach’s movers turned out to be the most professional move I’ve had in Manhattan - and i’ve moved 7 times over the last 45 years. The crew is professional, meticulous and really good guys. Unlike my other moves, not one thing was broken or even scratched. The service was with a smile - even with parking glitches that added 2 hours to the destination move in. Sach gave us a quote and stuck to it. They came the day before and carefully packed up everything in the apartment. They came on time the day of the move, quickly and efficiently packed up the truck. When it came to unloading, they quickly placed everything carefully in our house. So far, we have not found anything broken. The crew were well organized and polite the entire day. Sach and his team are excellent! I asked them to move an obsolete baby grand out of our apartment, and a new one in. It involved complicated scheduling and physical logistics, but they were pleasant and highly competent at every juncture. The moves were completed without a hitch. I've used Sach's Movers twice for moves in Manhattan and will definitely use them again. They're efficient, punctual, and careful. The first time, they had to unexpectedly disassemble a 6ft x 6ft IKEA shelf, and they did it in about 15 minutes, same with reassembly. Sach is a super nice guy, and his employees are upbeat and seem to enjoy their work. Could not recommend more highly.

If you have to move you want to call Sach's Movers. They are reasonably priced, prompt, organized, polite, efficient, have great communication and are 100% professional. They pack, unpack, hang blinds, they'll even clean your place for inspection after you've moved, they do it all! If I ever have to move again I will only call Sach's movers, they are the best!!

Great moving service. They were able to put me on their schedule on a very short notice. I had a very small move just needing 1 person, Christian, and he was on time, called ahead, and nothing was damaged. Made sure the cover on my bed was extra secure. The worker in the van was also very kind.
