I gotta say I had a pretty good time. To start, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The lady at the bar greeted us with a smile and the American guy who took our orders was top notch. He had that real American vibe and made us feel right at home. Bonus points for the 20% discount they gave us because we're locals! Now, let's talk about the burgers. I gotta say, they were pretty darn good. I ordered the big burger and fries and it was a generous portion - I actually had to force myself to finish it all. The quality was top-notch and there was a good variety of burgers to choose from. It definitely had that underground American burger club feel, which was cool. Just a heads up, it's a cash-only establishment but there's an ATM by the door. However, I did notice that the ATM had a pretty high surcharge so keep that in mind. All in all, I think I'll definitely be back. Maybe on a Friday to try out their beer on tap and sample some of the other burgers. The fries were fresh (not frozen) but they were a little too crispy for my liking. A few minutes less in the fryer and they would've been perfect. I will say though, the non-alcoholic drinks seemed a bit pricey. Lastly, I did have one issue with the ventilation - I left the restaurant smelling like a burger. My hair and clothes had a strong burger scent, so that could use some improvement. Overall, great burgers, friendly staff, and a cool atmosphere.

The restaurant is pretty cool – the vibe and design are intriguing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and polite. You might have to chill around for twenty minutes before your table's ready, but no worries – hit up the bar and grab a drink. Tables are snug in one big hall, but we loved the whole vibe. Now, about the burger –honestly, it didn't totally blow my mind. The food's good, but the meat, even though medium rare, was kinda missing that chewy oomph. It lost its compact texture. I'm more of a less-cooked meat fan, but hey, everything else was cool. Fries were delicious. They only accept cash, but there is an ATM inside the restaurant that also works with Apple Pay. It dispenses only 1000 crowns, with a fee of 77 crowns, which is lower compared to other ATMs. I didn't know this and took money from another ATM before the restaurant, which charged me a higher fee(99). Still, inside the restaurant, I easily got cash with a lower fee. All in all, I left happy with the whole deal.

Hands down, the best burger restaurant in Prague. Everything from the service to the atmosphere and the food was top notch! This place is so popular it has a waiting room where you can chill on one of the couches and already drink a beer. The theming within the entire restaurant is awesome, a lot of 50/60/70s memorabilia + music from that era really creates an amazing ambience (plus the bra bar). The service was super friendly, catering to our every need! The frontman is very enthusiastic and honestly just such a vibe! Our waiter was also super friendly and helpful when we had questions regarding what to order. The food here is really good. They got like 20+ burgers on the menu including burgers named after famous people that died from choking (choker burgers with 2 patties) or are part of the 27 club. I went for the Jim Morrison burger which was absolutely delicious, devoured that bad boy in mere minutes. All in all, you should definitely go here when you visit prague, it is 100% worth the wait!

We found this place by chance late at night. The food was so delicious that my husband and I were still talking about it on our way back to the hotel. Everyone working here was exceptionally friendly and welcoming (much more even than the people at our 5 star hotel). When I arrived, I thought it was a music themed bar/restaurant. It turns out that it is an American themed restaurant! The owner is from our city in the USA coincidentally yet the food is better than most restaurants there. The steak fries were the best I've ever had in my life. The onion rings were so unique and cute. The cherry cocktail was delicious as were the wealth of vegetarian options. I loved my veggie cheeseburger, and we found the prices very good. Thanks from Pittsburgh.

Lovely! We had such a nice time during our stay at Prague and our last stop was this awesome bar & bistro. You simply must order their onion rings, they're mega-sized, cheesy and absolutely decadent. The crunch is simply perfect and you will find yourself ordering another plate before even finishing the first. Apart from them, the burgers are simply immaculate. But be aware - their "mildly spicy" food is not for the faint of heart. Their mild spice includes jalapeños. Their cocktails are also mighty fine and with a quite decent percentage of alcohol. We wholeheartedly recommend this amazing no-nonsense no-reservation (don't worry, they have a waiting room!) bar. Every single employee is incredibly kind and helpful and also hot. In conclusion, we were blown out of our shoes, will come again! :)

Went with a friend from work, spoke to the owner before we went in and he seemed like a really nice guy. Atmosphere was great, music was a really strong mix of genres (something for everyone) and not to loud as to drown out speech. Then the food came, we got the buffalo and normal chicken strips to start and they were amazing (the accompanying sauces were pretty damn good too). Then for mains we some burgers and they were excellent, requested medium rare and we got it which is pretty hard to find honestly. Fries were perfectly crunchy but soft in the middle, nicely salted... really was the perfect burger and fries. Only tried a couple drinks, but a porter is a rare find and a good one even rarer. So again another really strong showing here. Then to top it off the prices were good, for the area practically cheap . Will definitely be returning and trying more food and beer!

Auf Deutsch würde ich sagen es ist eine urige Kneipe... tolles Lokal, welches alt amerikanisch eingerichtet ist. Es liegt etwas versteckt, aber der Weg hat sich gelohnt. Es gibt hier super leckere Burger und Fritten. Wir sind ohne Reservierung hin und als wir ankamen war kein Tisch frei. Das Personal lud uns ein im Warteraum Platz zu nehmen und zu warten (ca. 20 Min.). Als mein Mann uns was zu trinken von der Theke holen wollte, war unser Tisch schon frei (es waren keine 5 Minuten, die wir gewartet haben). Meine Wahl fiel auf den Double Bacon Cheese & Egg (280 CZK = ca. 11,50 €), damit dabei die Fresh Cut Fries mit Chili Mayo. Es war richtig lecker, der Burger, die Fries und die Chili Mayo. Leider waren die Onionrings aus... die hätte ich auch gern probiert. Sehr nettes Personal. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super.

One of the best American Diner food I have ever tasted. The staff were really helpful and courteous. One generally needs to wait to get a table. They have a waiting room for that! Coming on to the Pros: 1. Amazing Food, we ordered double bacon egg and cheese burger and a Jimmy Hendriks Chicken burger. Both the burgers were really good. 2. Amazing staff: The staffs were really helpful and they know how to handle customers 3. Amazing decor: nothing fancy yet quite gripping 4. Peppy Music 5. The funny and the attraction of the place. Women leave their brassiere in the reception. Cons: 1. The gents toilet was a mess. 2. They do not accept cards, only cash. They have an atm machine at the entrance of their shop.

We are told that we might have to wait 45 minutes but it was only about 15 and were put in the small waiting room - I can only say don’t judge what you are about to receive in food quality by the state of the room! Push on through this awkward space (note to owners - please throw that carpet out, replace the broken table, paint the walls and change the posters). The FOOD was amazing and worth the wait and awful waiting room. I had the Chica Chica Boom and my wife had the Pickled Prauger- both were fantastic and more than enough food. The price is excellent value and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Superb sound track playing and it’s fun trying to work out who is who in the ‘famous faces’ mural. Definitely the BEST burger I’ve eaten.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Sowohl die Pommes als auch die Burger waren super und schmeckten hervorragend. Der Service war etwas langsam bzw. musste man lange warten bis man bedient wurde. Sobald man bestellt hatte ging aber alles schnell. Es gibt Starters, Sandwiches, Burger (alle auch vegetarisch oder mit chicken), Nachtische und Salate. Vor allem die Auswahl an Burgern ist riesig. Im Keller sitzt man zwar gemütlich, aber es ist auch etwas stickig, wenn es voll ist. Die Preise haben uns wirklich umgehauen - unfassbar günstig für die Menge und Qualität. Wir kommen wieder!

** cash only*** As an American traveling around Europe, I would never step foot into a burger joint because I want to eat local food. However, I saw sad man’s tongue reviews and I had to try it for myself. In America, the best burgers I’ve ever had is at In-N-Out. But this place… I dare to say it might be even better than in-n-out. The burgers are flavorful and juicy, the fries are crispy and seasoned to perfection I think they might sprinkle a little coke on the fries (jokingly this isn’t serious) because they’re just so addicting. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We got the bonham burger which was amazing and the Janice Joplin burger which was nice but I think the Bonham was better and more memorable. Definitely try even if you’re trying to avoid burgers on a vacation.

Buitengewoon lekker gegeten! Als groot fan van hamburgers kan ik slechts beamen dat ze hier echt net zo lekker smaken als men zegt, ik heb de Jimi Hendrix gegeten en van elke hap genoten. Daarnaast ook nog geproefd van de clubsandwich met kip! Naast het lekkere eten is het een leuke, gezellige ongedwongen plek én ook betaalbaar. Zoals bijna overal in Tsjechië smaakt ook hier het bier voortreffelijk! De bediening is uitermate vriendelijk waarvoor wij nog willen bedanken! Wij kregen vanwege onze huwelijksreis een heerlijk shotje bij het eten! Een leuk gebaar! Ik geef zelden voor alles vijf sterren, maar hier kan het niet anders! Uitstekend!!

První bych ohodnotil burgery, což je věc kvůli které sem každý chodí :-) Jalapeno burger byl moc dobrý, tak akorát ostrý, dostatek dresingu, dobrá bulka - 5*. Bacon Jam burger už byl o poznání horší. Suchý a buchtová bulka. Maso se drolilo - 3*. Hranolky byly nekřupavé a měkké, chuťově se jedna porce celkem dala, ta druhá byla spálená a tím pádem se téměř nedala jíst :-/. Hranolky - 3*. To bysme měli jídlo, k obsluze se nedá říct špatného slova, příjemná a ochotná - 5*. Co se týče atmosféry a prostorů, tak asi záleží na každém. Nám to přišlo dost stísněné, hodně lidí namačkaných na jednom místo a velký hluk, takže vychutnat si jídlo v klidu nehrozí. Prostory - 3*. Celkem teda slabší 4*, hledali jsme podle recenzí nejlepší burger v Praze, příště ale zkusíme jinde :-)

V životě lituji doposud jediného momentu a to chvíli kdy jsem dojel tento burger. Nejraději bych tu chvíli zastavil a nechal ji hrát pořád dokola. Jako Pražák, jsem si v první chvíli řekl, tohle musí být past na turisty, tato myšlenka mi proběhla hlavou především kvůli cenám, avšak, zážitek který tu člověk zažije nelze vyjádřit penězi. Jídlo perfektní... Jinak se to říct nedá. Lepší burger jak tenhle jsem v životě neměl.. obsluha úžasná, přátelská a jednoduše přátelská. Atmosféra, jednoduše Americká kultura nasáklá v jednom místě. Doporučuji udělat si recenzi jelikož místa je málo a zákazníků hodně. Doporučuji na 100%.

We went there on a Sunday evening, when Prague was bustling with tourists and had to wait about half an hour to get a table but it was well worth it. The burgers where really good. They were certainly among the best we ever had. Vegetarian with a vegan patty is no problem, however completely vegan won't work unless you just opt for a burger bun with a vegan patty. Unfortunately they didn't have onions so we couldn't have the nachos. We also had some really good long drinks.

What a fantastic place. Despite what it may seem, this place is not really a tourist trap. While it is pricey for Prague, the burgers are excellent. The quality of the meat is great, and all items on the menu are thoughtfully designed. We had the Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin burgers and both were exactly as ordered. The Kurt had a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg and Janis had amazing spice and balance. You can order your burger how you like it cooked. The fries are double friend and exceptionally crispy. Well worth the trip and money.

Great place! Can't recommend it enough. The service is friendly and welcoming right when you come through the door and the food is all great. As an American you start to feel people are a bit cold in Czech, but everyone who works here was super nice and we were checked on multiple times. The guy who served us appeared to be newer to the job, but clearly had excellent people skills and experience in the industry. My girlfriend and I each had burgers and they were both great. Mine was a bit undercooked for my liking, but honestly I didn't mind since everything else was so great.

I 2 panini che abbiamo preso e anche il drink erano eccezionali. Buona anche la birra. Camerieri particolarmente gentili. C'è stata un po' di attesa ma comprensibile. Unico gigantesco difetto che non permette di dare 5 stelle è il fatto che si può pagare solo in contanti. È vero che c'è un ATM all'interno, ma con commissioni altine e che permette di prelevare solo multipli di 1000 corone. Peccato perché mi sarei preso un altro drink volentieri ma non aveva senso prelevare altre 1000 corone quando me ne sarebbero bastate 90 in più.

Замечательное место, бургеры просто космические- большие и вкусные. Картошку вкуснее чем тут, вообще нигде не ела. Приятный ценник, блюда приносят достаточно быстро. При входе обычно очередь, но оно того стоит. Атмосферу во многом задают официанты. Вчера мы пришли и нам встретил Николас, очень весёлый и вежливый парень, он сделал все чтобы мы чувствовали себя гостями, провел в зал ожидания, принял заказ, а потом проводил к столик. Когда мы приходили в прошлый раз и была смена другая, мы ждали полчаса и про нас забыли вообще:D

A circa 12 minuti a piedi dalla piazza della città vecchia di Praga. Locale al piano interrato dal quale sia accede con delle scale, in una via poco affollata. All’ingresso disponibile un punto ATM (non accettano pagamento con carta, ma SOLO contanti). Piccole salette, tavoli molto ravvicinati. This place is great. Modern and rustikal place and a Solid burger, but you should go just for the service! The waitress was incredibly friendly and brought me two traditional Czech liquors to try without even having to ask. I’ve been eating traditional Czech food all week so decided to try something different, Wow what a stroke of luck I ran into this place. I had the Hendrix Burger which was absolutely spectacular, well cooked, well presented and delicious. Pokud se zde občas zjeví špatná recenze, bude to pravděpodobně ze závisti nebo z omylu. Na čepu je pardubický pernštejnský ležák, stará se o vás velmi pozorná obsluha a na stole vám přistanou monstrózní burgry s perfektní bulkou. Definitiv der beste Burger, den wir jemals gegessen haben dazu leckeres Bier in wirklich tollem Ambiente. This is a great place to go for a taste of home. Pretty good selection of beer and liquor. Large selection of burgers, appetizers, and sides. The had Buffalo Trace Burbon!!!! Wir sind aufgrund der Rezensionen hier eingekehrt. Von außen ist das Lokal recht unscheinbar. Positiv fanden wir, dass gleich am Eingang ein Geldautomat steht. Burgers were amazing. I had the Bourbon BBQ beef burger and also tried some of the portobello mushroom burger with chicken. Best burgers I have had for a long time. The chips were so tasty too. Chce to odvahu, dát si jídlo v baru, kde na vás doslova padají podprsenky z baru. Ale stojí to za to! Uz od vstupu vás vítají ty nejmilejší servírky, všichni perfektně mluví anglicky, snad proto je toto místo tak často navštěvované turisty. Prostory sice nejsou podle očekávání, ale naprosto to vynahradí burger, který se rozplývá na jazyku. Bulka je skvělá, maso perfektní a hranolky též. navíc skvělý výběr. Big portions, delicious burges with a locally brewd beer in the american atmosphere. It was great, and the really pleasant and warm staff (very friendly, talked a bit about Prague, our lives, etc.) just added to a very nice experience. There is only one minor downside, same as in all places where you can get good burgers, prepare to smell a bit like oil, but after complementary shots (of something "good for digestion") we didn't mind it.

Non ho mai mangiato così male a Praga. Buffalo tenders troppo piccanti, patatine mosce e quasi dolci, hamburger jimmy handrix che era solo carne/carne/carne con un po’ di panino: non sapeva di altro. Birre buono. Ambiente rumoroso che sembra un covo di alcolisti non più anonimi. Bocciatissimo. Inoltre si può pagare solo cash e quindi fregano con il cambio. Per me i locali che non fanno pagare con la carta andrebbero boicottati.

I love a good burger so wandered into here and managed to get a table for myself couple weeks ago. Very accommodating staff was recommended a Jimi Hendrixs and was even allowed to try the sauce prior to commiting as I'm not great with spice. Wonderful flavour lovely looking burger tasted as good as it looked. Can't fault the burger. Nice place inside aswell. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent atmosphere and great food. One of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had. We ordered a Chika chika boom and a danish blue cheese burgers. Absolutely delicious. Also tried the burger shop next door on the same street but didn’t enjoy as much as Sad Mans’. Definitely eat another when I visit Prague. 10/10 PS: They also offer a free shot of liquor before you leave. Special thanks to the staff

Accoglienza ottima. La persona che ci ha accolto parlava italiano,spagnolo,inglese e francese. Hanno una piccola sala dove nel tempo dell'attesa puoi sederti e bere qualcosa preso dal loro bancone. Servizio un po' lento ma per scusarsi ci hanno offerto l'amaro. Hamburger e birre buoni. Consigliato prenotare in anticipo se no l'attesa di un tavolo libero potrebbe richiedere piu di 2 ore. Si paga SOLO in contanti ma accettano sia gli euro che le corone.

This is a great find. Cozy with a unique charm and vibe. Fantastic music but moreover great burgers. The burgers are first rate (going to be hard to find a better one) and the hand cut fries are superb. The dipping sauce with the fries is clutch! Highly recommend. Will definitely go back on this trip Note: the ventilation in this established is not satisfactory (historic building). You will leave smelling like fried foods and so will your coat for days

Nice place and nice food. People working there are very polite and they fit perfect in the theme of the restaurant. However the main course came to to fast. We where still enjoying appetisers. So you feel a bit rushed in this place. However. Food was very nice and they offer a small schnaps when paying the bill. Nobody ever says no to that ! PS; very funny descriptions of the food!

Such a special place! Went once and loved it so much we went back the next day! Staff are so friendly and eager to chat with you, food is amazing, double burger with egg is the best one!! Píšu recenzi po druhé návštěvě. 1. návštěva - podvečer, málo lidí.. burger výbornej, maso akorát propečený, celý burger šťavnatý a měkký. Hranolky křupavé a skvěle se k nim hodila omáčka. 2. návštěva - kolem poledne, totálně narváno, burger nestál za to. Slanina uvnitř burgeru byla tak 2 cm tlustá a přebíjela veškerou chuť. Musel jsem se ji zbavit. Maso tuhý jak prase. Hranolky přesolený. Závěr: Choďte v podvečer, dejte si variantu bez slaniny. Každej čech si tam může procvičit angličtinu, jelikož obsluhují spíše turisty.

Habe in Prag am letzten Tag den besten Burger und die besten Pommes gefunden die ich glaub je her gegessen hab. Das Warten auf einen Platz hat sich gelohnt… alleine die Sides waren unglaublich köstlich. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und gut gelaunt obwohl sehr viel Stress war. Das Ambiente ist so wie es sein muss, es ist sauber aber alt!! Der Fokus ist die Leidenschaft. Absolute Top Empfehlung …alleine für diesen Burger werde ich Prag wieder besuchen!!!

Great bar, excellent staff and service! Had a great time. Great Pub foods! Only thing is the toilet (mens) were a bit haggard! Came in at around 10pm stayed till closed at 2am. Cheese Sticks a Buffalo Wings

I cannot recommend this place more. Do not leave Prague until you’ve paid this diner a visit! Not only are the burgers exquisite (get the double bacon or their infamous double patty one and make sure you get the cheesy onion rings, they’re a must!), but the staff and namely the manager are warm, kind and professional. Dining experience like this, where you feel like the staff and manager genuinely want you to have a great experience, are few and far in between. Give this spot a try and thank me late ;)

Excellent bar et restaurant. Ambiance décontractée dans une cave atypique mais un peu exigu . Le service est sympa et les serveurs parlent très bien anglais. Les burgers sont délicieux et copieux avec un large choix, servis avec frites et une bonne sauce. Bon rapport qualité/prix mais attention, il faut payer en cash.

It has the reputation of the best hamburger in Prague. However, is not. Too dry and nothing special. The service was no so fast. The atmosphere good the deco nice but after this you have to put all your clothes to the wash machine and take a bath. Lot of smell of food inside the restaurant. Not enough ventilation. Not card payment accepted. Only cash (!!)

Hamburger buoni, consiglio il Kurt Cobain. Le birre buone e il personale simpatico cerca sempre di strapparti una risata, lo abbiamo davvero apprezzato. Locale all'interno molto carino e colorato. Per noi non è stato un problema il "CASH ONLY", e c'è anche un ATM all'ingresso (internamente) ma comunque potrebbe causare problemi a chi non fosse preparato.

Fried Onion Rings a Burgers Heart Attack

This a very rustical place. The owner greets you personally and the staff is very friendly and fast. The burger was good quality but not exceptional. Beer and fries were very good, the chicken wings were tender but the marinade for our taste too intense & spicy. The place has a nice atmosphere but it's really stuffed oily air.

Wirklich super Burger mit selbstgemachten Pommes! Vorspeisen waren auch lecker! Bei den Zwiebeltringen (Donuts) könnte man etwas mehr in die Masse geben vielleicht nicht nur weißen sondern auch roten Zwiebel! War aber trotzalledem lecker! Personal is sehr freundlich! Excellent service! Friendly and very helpful staff. They like to interact with the customers. The burgers were huge and tasty! Loved the buffalo wings as well. They serve food until midnight. Šli jsme se na základě doporučení na výborné burgry. Výborné nejsou. Ne že by byly vyloženě špatný, ale jsou prostě takový mdlý, bez chuti. Bez odporu jsme ho snědli, nepochutnali si. Hranolky jsme ani nesnědli. Ty byly vyloženě hnus. Příště na burgr rozhodně jinam. Dvě hvězdy za pěkné prostředí a super obsluhu. Velice mezinárodní, česky mluvila jen jedna holčina, jinak všechno cizinci. Pro usmání, na pánských toaletách nápis MENS. To mě rozbilo. ‍♂️

What an amazing restaurant! The burgers are amazing and the self made fries are sooo delicious! It is absolutely true that they have the best burgers in town. It is also true that the crew is super amazing and hospitable. They also have a waiting room which is quite comfortable. You can order drinks prior to your seat allocation so you don't need to stand out on the road to get a chance to sit. Along with food the restaurant has a very different interior decor. Nos atendió Ancor a la llegada y nos permitió esperar en una sala con sofás mientras se libraba una mesa (no teníamos reserva). Luego pedimos unas hamburguesas Jimmy Hendrix y estaban buenísimas (si no te gusta el picante no es muy recomendable). La única pega es que necesitas efectivo para pagar pero se puede pagar en euros.

Fuimos a cenar y nos recibieron muy bien y muy amable el camarero. Nos invitó a pasar a una sala porque había lista de espera y cuando se dio cuenta de que éramos españoles ya nos trató en nuestro idioma, él es canario. Las hamburguesas muy buenas y buena calidad. Resaltar que el encargado habla español. Recordaros que hay que pagar en efectivo como dice un cuadro es puesto en el local.

Od samotného začátku až po samotný konec úžasný zážitek i jídlo. Obsluha by se měla nakopírovat, protože byla úžasná, vše nám řekli, starali se, povídali si (nadstandardní servis). Ohledně jídla, miluju burgery a ze všech restauraci i festivalů, zde byl opravdu číslo 1. Rozhodně nejsme naposledy a moc se budu těšit na další návštěvu.

We came here two times within 3 days! Consider a short waiting time of you want to eat or drink here. If you need cash they have an ATM inside. The Burgers are awesome and everything else we had (Caesar salad, Chicken Buffalo Tenders) was perfect as well. You’re able to enjoy several beers and the service is more than friendly! Definitely recommend this place

The place is a bit far from the city center and it seems a bit "underground" inside, but don't be fooled, the burgers are delicious, the meat looks of quality and the ingredients too. The fries are delicious, just perfect. The treatment of the waiters very friendly and fast. A great experience in Prague.

Jakoby nečekal jsem ze moje spontánní rozhodnutí užit si večeři a drinky s prateli v centru skončí takhle pohodovou a skvělou navstevou tohoto podniku! Chování zaměstnanců k “cizim” hostům nám úrovni servisu shodneho ve VIP zónách leckterych after klubu, to me vážně potesilo :)

Burgery byli naprosto famózní. Maso a houska se rozplývaly na jazyku. Za burger, hranolky a omáčku tu zaplatíte kolem 280Kč, což za to, co dostanete, je malá cena. Obsluha taky špičková.

Šel jsem zde na skvělý hamburger a zklamaný jsem rozhodně nebyl. Hamburger byl luxusní. Hranolky křupavé. Pivo mělo dobrou chuť i teplotu. Ochotný majitel se mě asi 3x přišel zeptat jestli je vše ok. Určitě se ještě zastavím.

Přišli jsme na drink s kamarády, nakonec jsme skončili u jídel a panáku, a to je středa :D Užili jsme si to, servis byl neskutečně milý, určitě přijdeme zase
