Have been at Safe Store Crayford for over a year now having been at other storage units and Container sites. This is by far the best around. The staff are so friendly. Mark, Stacey and David are always there to help us and really go that extra mile to make us feel welcome. We spend a lot of time at the unit near on 12-16 Hours a week due to the nature of our business. We run Bonkerz Entertainment a children’s entetainment company and with out them things would be a lot harder for us to run. We class them as part of our team as they play a big part in our business too. We have a 24 hour access and with 16 staff member we are all able to access. It’s just so perfect for us. And we feel our things are 100% safe here. We lost 20k worth of stuff At another unit after being robbed so was very warey when moveing to another unit. But I can honestly say I cannot fault Safe Store Crayford! And we will be there for many years to come! Thank you for everything Safe Store! Bonkerz Entertainment x

Just the most rudest staff (Tracey) in crayford spoke to us about information we didn’t know / not clear about and was so so so rude about it. So sad considering I have used this safe store before with absolutely no issues but now having to speak with someone, I’m shocked at how poor they are at dealing with complaints (after being condescending, she dropped the phone on us). I must point out that we were not treated kindly at all. No one should be made to feel this way and must be treated with respect and dignity. When we said we didn’t know about the restricted opening times and mum didn’t know that it meant office opening times, Tracey even said things like “if your mum couldn’t understand, she should have asked more questions” Mind you, mum met this Tracey in person initially and I feel some prejudice already with her poor choice of language. Like who speaks like this?!

Tracey Marshall (apologies if my spelling is incorrect) at crayford was absolutely amazing, accommodating and understanding. Definitely a HUGE asset to the company. I don't think I would have had such a great experience with safestore if she personally had not helped me and gone above and beyond to assist myself and my son who has autism. Thank you Tracey! You are a star. My two criticisms with the storage unit in particular is it has a structural beam going through it which reduces the square feet and also the way I have had to store my property and the opening hours could be longer but just to liaise with this amazing lady made me forget about all the stress of moving. Thanks again.

From the first phone call to booking the storage I found Trasey to be very professional, helpful and her customer service skills are excellent. Trasey was very thorough explaining the rules and regulations of the storage. I felt very safe the COVID measures were excellent through out the building. After calling several Storage Unit around the area Safestore Self Storage was definitely the most professional from answering the phone in a professional manner and the service right through you left there you had a good service hard to find nowadays. I had an amazing experience with Safestore. It met my needs. I want to make mention a particular employee who helped me alot (Tracey at the Crayford site) She is an absolute life saver. Smiles all the time and when I was stressed about my room size , she immediately came to my rescue . I will highly recommend safestore Crayford . I went to your store last week and was greeted by one of your staff members by the name of David. David put me at ease as I am currently moving house and felt stressed and overwhelmed by all the work I had to do. He helped me to choose the best packaging option for me which made moving that much easier. I will defiantly be attending your store again and can't thank David enough! .

I was really impressed by this company who were efficient and very friendly until I unloaded half of my things and was told that the price I'd been quoted in writing and agreed upon was in fact, wrong and was actually was double the price. I would think that once you've been given a quote and agreed on it, that should be the price you pay. Was very upset with the whole business.

Popped in to enquire about facilities. Was immediately welcomed and shown some units. Andrew spent time explaining how the facility works and gave me a run down of costs. We agreed to hold a unit for a few days whilst I decided if the unit and cost was acceptable. All info was emailed to me. I accepted the contract a few days later and am pleased with how it all went smoothly.

I am changing this review from good to rip-off , 5 months in using the storage facility and they raised their prices by 50% more - i mean i would expect maybe 5% or 10% even which is still above inflation - but who on earth would raise their prices by 50% - absolutely disgusted and might as well go and rent an office space. Be warned - it isn't good value for long.

Really impressed with how quickly I was able to book in. As an indurty, storage companies call far too many times after an initial enquiry. It gelt like I was being hounded when I only needed a quote at the time. However when I was ready to book all staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. No issues and my driver was able to fill the unit without me present.

I need some storage for a several boxes, while I work through a difficult situation. I went to Safestore to see if they could provide a simple solution and was delighted that they can! Trasey is very friendly and efficient. She cannot be more helpful. The process is very easy and I recommend Safestore in Crayford to anyone in a similar situation to me.

I turned up at safestore in a complete mess. My house sale had just fallen through and I needed to empty my house of packed boxes. Safestore just took over and arranged everything. I would say they saved my bacon. All dealings with staff have been straightforward, clear and friendly. I would so recommend safestore. Brilliant company.

Good, big storage. Previously it was named different, was quite difficult to find as safestore. But now changed as safestore. The main problem with this is scattered unit numbers. Can't find the exact unit of you are new here or even not visiting regularly. For example after say G15 unit you may find G22. G16 will be somewhere else.

Given the negative nature of why I required storage, it was a pleasure to deal with the positive and kind team at Crayford. Such a friendly atmosphere..I was addressed by my name and felt valued as a customer. It made the whole experience a pleasurable one. My changing needs were dealt with brilliantly. I have worked with a number of different self storage companies in the past and I have not gone anywhere else since using SafeStore Crayford. Good value for money, very efficient set up and the best customer service. Tracey in particular is always a pleasure to work with and a credit to the company. I would highly recommend.

Great service. We arrived late afternoon on a Friday (12 Aug) and were greeted with a friendly face and where given a great explanation and tips to help get our items into the store. Unfortunately we ran 15 minutes over the closing time but were not hassled just helped to make sure we could get everything stored away. ☺️

I can't praise the staff highly enough. I only popped down to buy some storage boxes. I don't recall the chap's name who helped me, but he was so very helpful, explaining the uses for the various boxes, and not trying to sell me something i didnt need. He even put them in my car for me. Best customer service ever!!!

Really great place to store your valuables! Staff really helpful and friendly, site clean tidy and well designed. All units clearly numbered for recognition, large loading bay and lots of carts or trolleys to use. Well lit and they have other facilities there for you to use. Have used before and will use again!

I found the staff really helpful, having never used storage centre before, they also sell everything you need on site, walked us to our unit and then waited for us to drive our car around to show us how to find it from another entry point. i feel very safe leaving my belonging in this building.

Very helpful staff, very easy to book and the lift worked well each time that I used it. Bit surprised that the entry fob only works for certain hours unless you pay an extra £20 for the privilege of using the store out of normal working hours, but other than that, everything was great.

Crayford store is the worst place I could have ever trusted with my stuff! The payment went from £17 weekly to sudden £144 within a day, locking up the room so I couldn't get in there till I pay the money. They are liars and definitely will not recommended this place at all.

Sorting out a storage unit was much easier than I expected. Staff were extremely helpful showing us around and explaining how it worked. The half-price offer for the first 8 weeks combined with an NHS discount was very welcome. We would recommend this facility.

Very strange that your asked why you want a trolley for? You need it to move things besides they hide the trollies like they are gold dust. It’s one woman with a strange attitude rest of the staff are ok

They charged me before I had even moved in my stuff yet, not sure how that happens but my account was fixed upon move-in and I was charged correctly. Move-in process was easy and staff were very helpful.

Awful experience there today, went in to post a package and the guy basically just told me to go away and come back in an hour when he might not be too busy. Definitely not going to use them again
