Probably the best Sainsbury's Local in Britain because of two reasons: The first being Destiny, and the second being Jay. They are probably the most helpful, attentive staff I've ever encountered. Will be shocked if they arent area managers within the next couple of years. Cherish them, promote them, seriously pay them.
Great baked goods, especially the croissants!! Staff is friendly but often not sure whether they actually have an item or not and where to find it. But they'll check and search for you. You get the essential and basic stuff, but they're often out of stock (especially the meat section is sometimes half empty)
Deserves no stars. Staff have no customer service training, are rude and unhelpful. They are not prepared to help with Smartshop issues. I wasted my time in there due to their equipment fault and gave up on my shopping. Staff not bothered one bit that they'd lost a customer. Really needs new management.
A nixe place to buy your groceries. Has the essentials lunch items, snacks, a bit of meat, veg and other various. However, the service isn't that great. Staff sometimes are rare to find, don't help sometimes and just don't give a damn at times. A good affordable place but depends on when you go.
Vary recently they started putting items with a very short expiry date. Like yesterday I bought a box of tiramisu, today I got it out of the fridge to discover it's expiry day was yesterday. Really!? It has happened on multiple occasions in
You might want to check the discount labels because for the past few days I have been purchasing the Starbucks drink when it was on discount, but when I came back to get it again on my last day ,it was still on discount that's what it says
This shop went live in 2017 and what a bloody fantastic place it is. However, take a brief look at the floor upon entry and you’ll ask yourself is that a 2017 looking floor tile? Like me you may also agree it’s a bit ‘2006’, but nothing’s
Unfortunately, this store is confusing customers by putting price tags that do not belong to the corresponding products. I wanted to buy a shampoo and on the shelf, the price tag said £2.20. On the check-out, it suddenly showed £3.85 as a
bought some stuff on 21 Nov 2018 19:53:08. Sum of the money spent was 11.00£. Later this evening check my online banking was deducted 12.00£ pounds. Used the self service counter that printed out a reciept for 11.00£ but charged 12.00£.
I really wish these metro or smaller local supermarkets had a wider range of what is sold in their bigger supermarkets, more sainsburys brand products, and would it really hurt if they sold some tassimo pods!! On a more negative note,
Today marks the second time I was accused of shoplifting in here. The place is an absolute heaven for thieves (people pretending to swipe their card and then leaving quickly). I shop here several times a week and have seen many, many
Cool local supermarket. I was visiting London for a few days and I got all the basic stuff I needed for my stay. Within walk-in distance of the Brockley area. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions. Fair prices as well.
I'm a little disappointed with the locals, they're are a little bit more expensive than the larger stores. They don't have a great selection of dairy free milk or yoghurt which is what I would pop to my local store for.
Small, but adequate. The self checkout tills can be a bit of a nightmare... tried and failed to scan my nectar card, "please return the item to the bagging area" when you haven't touched anything etc. etc.
If I could this place zero stars I would, appalling staff (bar a couple) who have no interest in customers. Most are just lazy with a bad attitude who avoid having to do any work.
I tried talk to a security guard this evening 25/11/2020 at 21:06pm but he was far to busy in hes phone. I dont appreciate being ignored. Found him to be rude and very arrogant.
Self service Tills need someone supporting them all the time. ALSO big bug bearer is the whole chickens have to be forced out of there fridge shelf as there isnt enough space.
Do NOT order over deliveroo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did not bring a lot of things that I ordered on my food shopping list!!!!!!!!!! Still took payment!! Never again. Ruined dinner
I wouldn't usually leave a review for a supermarket ...but just have to compliment this store because the staff are always so nice and helpful.
The assistant was too busy texting to help with the self service tills - Couldn’t even be bothered to reply to my request for help.
Poor selection of products, half empty shelves and a queue of 12 people and only one person on the check out
Rude and racist staff. I have asked for a product and I have been teased for my non-native english
Great store for the locals but due to its popularity a lot of the essentials can sell out fast.
Popped in to pick up a few bits and they had everything I needed and staff were very friendly!
I'm just about to head down to this Sainsbury's I hope its as good as most people say it is
Always has stuff that I need. Nice, friendly staff. Pleasant, helpful security guy.
Really good service, hard to find things you want as it's a small Sainsbury's
The only supermarket in the UK that doesn’t have eggs or plum tomatoes
Always busy not enough people serving mostly do it yourself tills
Pretty good do a good range for a small shop staff helpful
Great bread, good variety of food and pleasant staff.
Solid selection of food for a small supermarket.
Useful staff, clean and well organised.
Cashier doesn’t know how to scan items
Well maintained. Good choices of food.
It had everything staff were helpful
Open and ready for excellent service
Friendly staff, reasonable selection
